('93 W124) Have been very fortunate as well with car failures. Have many stories of mounts dying beneath me and dragging their carcasses to a safe or convenient location before they gasped their last. I have been able to revive a few on the side of the road and limped them home. I can only require three that completely died and was still able to get them off the road. One that died only needed a bit of a push and I rolled it down the hill and into the drive. Actually came down the hill at nearly the speed limit, on the highway. :) I've also gone over Stevens Pass at less than 10 miles per hour with a 300SD. :) Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T - -----Original Message----- From: Bruce Caruthers Sender: owner-diesel-benz@digest.net Date: Tue, 21 Sep 2010 00:54:44 To: diesel-benz list Reply-To: Bruce Caruthers Subject: Re: [db] The wheels are falling off...
