The sd33T/rv 727/np208 with 3.54 and 235s is likely a perfect setup for the 4100 lb weight of suuperdawg. On the '83 cherokee chief I'm first going to get it running with the 360 and then think about what Diesel setup to use. The link above gets me thinking about using a 124 series engine with an aw4. Diesel dreaming. Diesel driving continues. :) John Sent via BlackBerry by AT&T ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 11 Dec 2010 20:33:37 -0800 From: john Subject: [db] Re: fsj: Jeep Wrangler Diesel Conversion Project yes, the adapter would likely allow the bellhousing to work, but this setup includes the clutch... I don't see why they couldn't provide one that would work with a different flex plate to work with the AW4, they may not want to mess with the computer setup. All that's needed is a throtte position sensor, right? What other inputs into the AW4 computer? of course you could do the manual switch setup for the AW4. john On 12/11/2010 8:25 PM, Jim Blair wrote: > That adapter looks like it should work for an AW4 as well since the offsets > are the same.
