Reminds me a lot of the butler robot in Caprica. The two girls don't look especially comfortable or confident as they ride the scooters. There's that kind of "woah... careful..." look to their faces. And there *have* to be better/more productive uses for this than what they show the girls doing. What might be cool is having it able to follow along behind someone with a wireless tether, to carry things for you. Hey, what if these could cart around tools and hand them to you, while following you around from repair to repair? :) - -bkc Lynnwood, WA (his) '76 MB 240D [W115.117/616.916] (hers) '92 Toyota Celica GT (ours) '93 MB 300D 2.5 Turbo [W124.128/602.962] On Fri Jan 28, 2011, Jim Hoffman wrote: > Now, this is REALLY cool but as I watched it I had two thoughts: > > 1. Paul is a mechanical engineer I was a circuit designer... guess which one did what. :) ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Snohomish, Washington -o|||||o- where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 si vis pacem, para bellum http://johnmeister.com http://wagoneers.com http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------ End of diesel-benz-digest V1 #3382 **********************************
