When the rear seats were folded, the car could hold 1473 litres (52 ft3). Like the saloon/sedan, the estate/wagon received high marks from most reviewers.[70][71] They noted that the cargo area was large and useful. Additionally, the interior kept its top quality fit and finish, although the rear seat was still a bit small. which makes me want to get the body damage fixed all the more... :) loving our jettas... the "new" mercedes for common folk... ;) I really liked my 124 series '91 300D... but I always found the Jetta nicer to drive in many respects... but not all... hard to nail down what the issue was... but now, it doesn't matter... and not having found any decent 124s for sale with low miles... and the research on the 210's clearly indicating issues and mediocre economy at best... the Jetta was the way to go... it is interesting to note the differences in the two jettas... will be interesting to see where the sedan was built... john ----- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -o|||||o- Snohomish, Washington - where Jeeps don't rust, they mold http://AMSOIL.com/redirect.cgi?zo=283461 http://JohnMeister.com HTTP://WAGONEERS.COM http://fotomeister.us - ------------------------------------------------------------------------ On Thu, 23 Jun 2011, Steve Morelen wrote: # # I think the "US" Jetta factory is in Puebla Mexico.
