I live in Cary and am trying to reconcile the background in the photos and am having trouble. The trees don't look right, assuming the photos are recent as they should be. I'm also wondering about the display in the windshield..looks like a dealer kind of thing, not a private sale by someone that is meticulous about maintenance as the listing seems to indicate. If you look under the hood and see stuff clearly cobbled up assume the rest of it has been backyard engineered... that's fine for a Jeep, but not for a Benz... look carefully at the car and drive the price down, it's quite likely the car can still be rescued... OH and like what almost happened to me with that 190D - take pictures when you look, and share them, a friend noticed something in the trunk and under the car that I didn't notice right away... and explained why the back doors didn't open properly, it had been rear ended... there was still buckled metal in the trunk and junkyard parts underneath... all benz, but it wasn't right... car was still ok, but the price was too high for what it was...
