Would like to make this my main PC and therefore would like to switch over the HDD with Win 7 pro from my older PC. What changes are necessary in the HP b^S not just the physical switch of the HDD ? Guessing that several drivers have to removed but not sure of the details. Some advice would be very much appreciated. Replaced the parking brake, brake pads, and rotors for the R129 (same parts/techniques as W124) over the last two days (one side each day, since I only have an hour or two each day to work on the cars). Today, I am happy to report, I did *not* faceplant into the wheel hub (parking brake spring pulling tool slipped yesterday). No loose teeth at least. Still need to test drive it tomorrow to make sure it is all good. At least the massive coolant leak on the M104 engine was a hose (albeit that nasty octopus-like one going into the firewall--we just spliced it instead of messing with all that). Now I can replace the nearly-shot parking brakes on the W124 this weekend. (Practiced on the car that is not a daily driver.) And one of these days, I'll have the time and opportunity to replace the motor mounts and tranny mount on the W124. The parts have been riding around in its trunk for months. - -bkc Lynnwood, WA (his) '76 MB 240D [W115.117/616.916] (hers) '92 Toyota Celica GT (long overdue to be retired or sold) (ours) '87 MB 300D Turbo [W124.133/603.960] (acquired, 21Apr12) (ours) '91 MB 300SL-24 [R129.061/M104.981] (acquired, 25May12) (RIP) '93 MB 300D 2.5 Turbo [W124.128/602.962] (totaled, 28Mar12) ------------------------------ End of diesel-benz-digest V1 #3645 **********************************
