FX only zoom lens

current suite of tools:  18-35 f3.5-4.5, 105 f2.8 micro (non-Vr), 28-200G and 70-300 VR on D700.

ISSUES:  weight... was considering the 28-300VR but it's 10 ounces more than the 28-200 and isn't great
	the need for speed isn't as critical as range... prefer not to swap lenses or carry several.  want
	the best quality affordable with the greatest range... but want lenses that produce pictures that
	just snap... crisp, clean, sharp...  compromises... always about money, tradeoffs...
