Gen 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. (kjv) Gen 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth. Gen 9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. (kjv) Gen 9:2 The fear of you and the terror of you will be on every beast of the earth and on every bird of the sky; with everything that creeps on the ground, and all the fish of the sea, into your hand they are given. Gen 9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. (kjv) Gen 9:3 Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you, as I gave the green plant. Gen 9:4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. (kjv) Gen 9:4 Only you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood. Gen|9|4|πλὴν κρέας ἐν αἵματι ψυχῆς οὐ φάγεσθε
Gen 9:5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man's brother will I require the life of man. (kjv) Gen 9:5 Surely I will require your lifeblood; from every beast I will require it. And from every man, from every man's brother I will require the life of man. Gen 9:6 Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. (kjv) Gen 9:6 "Whoever sheds man's blood, By man his blood shall be shed, For in the image of God He made man. Gen 9:7 And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein. (kjv) Gen 9:7 "As for you, be fruitful and multiply; Populate the earth abundantly and multiply in it." Gen|9|7|ὑμεῖς δὲ αὐξάνεσθε καὶ πληθύνεσθε καὶ πληρώσατε τὴν γῆν καὶ πληθύνεσθε ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς
Gen 9:8 And God spake unto Noah, and to his sons with him, saying, (kjv) Gen 9:8 Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying, Gen|9|8|καὶ εἶπεν ὁ θεὸς τῷ Νωε καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ λέγων
Gen 9:9 And I, behold, I establish my covenant with you, and with your seed after you; (kjv) Gen 9:9 "Now behold, I Myself do establish My covenant with you, and with your descendants after you; Gen|9|9|ἐγὼ ἰδοὺ ἀνίστημι τὴν διαθήκην μου ὑμῖν καὶ τῷ σπέρματι ὑμῶν μεθ᾽ ὑμᾶς
Gen 9:10 And with every living creature that is with you, of the fowl, of the cattle, and of every beast of the earth with you; from all that go out of the ark, to every beast of the earth. (kjv) Gen 9:10 and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the cattle, and every beast of the earth with you; of all that comes out of the ark, even every beast of the earth. Gen|9|10|καὶ πάσῃ ψυχῇ τῇ ζώσῃ μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν ἀπὸ ὀρνέων καὶ ἀπὸ κτηνῶν καὶ πᾶσι τοῖς θηρίοις τῆς γῆς ὅσα μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐξελθόντων ἐκ τῆς κιβωτοῦ
Gen 9:11 And I will establish my covenant with you, neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. (kjv) Gen 9:11 I establish My covenant with you; and all flesh shall never again be cut off by the water of the flood, neither shall there again be a flood to destroy the earth." Gen|9|11|καὶ στήσω τὴν διαθήκην μου πρὸς ὑμᾶς καὶ οὐκ ἀποθανεῖται πᾶσα σὰρξ ἔτι ἀπὸ τοῦ ὕδατος τοῦ κατακλυσμοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ἔτι κατακλυσμὸς ὕδατος τοῦ καταφθεῖραι πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν
Gen 9:12 And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: (kjv) Gen 9:12 God said, "This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all successive generations; Gen|9|12|καὶ εἶπεν κύριος ὁ θεὸς πρὸς Νωε τοῦτο τὸ σημεῖον τῆς διαθήκης ὃ ἐγὼ δίδωμι ἀνὰ μέσον ἐμοῦ καὶ ὑμῶν καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον πάσης ψυχῆς ζώσης ἥ ἐστιν μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν εἰς γενεὰς αἰωνίους
Gen 9:13 I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. (kjv) Gen 9:13 I set My bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth. Gen 9:14 And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: (kjv) Gen 9:14 It shall come about, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow will be seen in the cloud, Gen|9|14|καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῷ συννεφεῖν με νεφέλας ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ὀφθήσεται τὸ τόξον μου ἐν τῇ νεφέλῃ
Gen 9:15 And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh. (kjv) Gen 9:15 and I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and never again shall the water become a flood to destroy all flesh. Gen|9|15|καὶ μνησθήσομαι τῆς διαθήκης μου ἥ ἐστιν ἀνὰ μέσον ἐμοῦ καὶ ὑμῶν καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον πάσης ψυχῆς ζώσης ἐν πάσῃ σαρκί καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ἔτι τὸ ὕδωρ εἰς κατακλυσμὸν ὥστε ἐξαλεῖψαι πᾶσαν σάρκα
Gen 9:16 And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth. (kjv) Gen 9:16 When the bow is in the cloud, then I will look upon it, to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth." Gen|9|16|καὶ ἔσται τὸ τόξον μου ἐν τῇ νεφέλῃ καὶ ὄψομαι τοῦ μνησθῆναι διαθήκην αἰώνιον ἀνὰ μέσον ἐμοῦ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον πάσης ψυχῆς ζώσης ἐν πάσῃ σαρκί ἥ ἐστιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς
Gen 9:17 And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth. (kjv) Gen 9:17 And God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant which I have established between Me and all flesh that is on the earth." Gen 9:18 And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan. (kjv) Gen 9:18 Now the sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem and Ham and Japheth; and Ham was the father of Canaan. Gen|9|18|ἦσαν δὲ οἱ υἱοὶ Νωε οἱ ἐξελθόντες ἐκ τῆς κιβωτοῦ Σημ Χαμ Ιαφεθ Χαμ ἦν πατὴρ Χανααν
Gen 9:19 These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread. (kjv) Gen 9:19 These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the whole earth was populated. Gen|9|19|τρεῖς οὗτοί εἰσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Νωε ἀπὸ τούτων διεσπάρησαν ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν
Gen 9:20 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: (kjv) Gen 9:20 Then Noah began farming and planted a vineyard. Gen|9|20|καὶ ἤρξατο Νωε ἄνθρωπος γεωργὸς γῆς καὶ ἐφύτευσεν ἀμπελῶνα
Gen 9:21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. (kjv) Gen 9:21 He drank of the wine and became drunk, and uncovered himself inside his tent. Gen|9|21|καὶ ἔπιεν ἐκ τοῦ οἴνου καὶ ἐμεθύσθη καὶ ἐγυμνώθη ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ
Gen 9:22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without. (kjv) Gen 9:22 Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside. Gen|9|22|καὶ εἶδεν Χαμ ὁ πατὴρ Χανααν τὴν γύμνωσιν τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐξελθὼν ἀνήγγειλεν τοῖς δυσὶν ἀδελφοῖς αὐτοῦ ἔξω
Gen 9:23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness. (kjv) Gen 9:23 But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it upon both their shoulders and walked backward and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were turned away, so that they did not see their father's nakedness. Gen|9|23|καὶ λαβόντες Σημ καὶ Ιαφεθ τὸ ἱμάτιον ἐπέθεντο ἐπὶ τὰ δύο νῶτα αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ὀπισθοφανῶς καὶ συνεκάλυψαν τὴν γύμνωσιν τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν καὶ τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτῶν ὀπισθοφανές καὶ τὴν γύμνωσιν τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν οὐκ εἶδον
Gen 9:24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him. (kjv) Gen 9:24 When Noah awoke from his wine, he knew what his youngest son had done to him. Gen|9|24|ἐξένηψεν δὲ Νωε ἀπὸ τοῦ οἴνου καὶ ἔγνω ὅσα ἐποίησεν αὐτῷ ὁ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ὁ νεώτερος
Gen 9:25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. (kjv) Gen 9:25 So he said," Cursed be Canaan; A servant of servants He shall be to his brothers." Gen|9|25|καὶ εἶπεν ἐπικατάρατος Χανααν παῖς οἰκέτης ἔσται τοῖς ἀδελφοῖς αὐτοῦ
Gen 9:26 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. (kjv) Gen 9:26 He also said," Blessed be the Lord, The God of Shem; And let Canaan be his servant. Gen|9|26|καὶ εἶπεν εὐλογητὸς κύριος ὁ θεὸς τοῦ Σημ καὶ ἔσται Χανααν παῖς αὐτοῦ
Gen 9:27 God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant. (kjv) Gen 9:27 "May God enlarge Japheth, And let him dwell in the tents of Shem; And let Canaan be his servant." Gen|9|27|πλατύναι ὁ θεὸς τῷ Ιαφεθ καὶ κατοικησάτω ἐν τοῖς οἴκοις τοῦ Σημ καὶ γενηθήτω Χανααν παῖς αὐτῶν
Gen 9:28 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. (kjv) Gen 9:28 Noah lived three hundred and fifty years after the flood. Gen|9|28|ἔζησεν δὲ Νωε μετὰ τὸν κατακλυσμὸν τριακόσια πεντήκοντα ἔτη
Gen 9:29 And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.(kjv) Gen 9:29 So all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years, and he died. Gen|9|29|καὶ ἐγένοντο πᾶσαι αἱ ἡμέραι Νωε ἐννακόσια πεντήκοντα ἔτη καὶ ἀπέθανεν
Gen 10:1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood. (kjv) Gen 10:1 Now these are the records of the generations of Shem, Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah; and sons were born to them after the flood. Gen 10:2 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. (kjv) Gen 10:2 The sons of Japheth were Gomer and Magog and Madai and Javan and Tubal and Meshech and Tiras. Gen 10:5 By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations. (kjv) Gen 10:5 From these the coastlands of the nations were separated into their lands, every one according to his language, according to their families, into their nations. Gen 10:6 And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan. (kjv) Gen 10:6 The sons of Ham were Cush and Mizraim and Put and Canaan. Gen|10|6|υἱοὶ δὲ Χαμ Χους καὶ Μεσραιμ Φουδ καὶ Χανααν
Gen 10:7 And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan. (kjv) Gen 10:7 The sons of Cush were Seba and Havilah and Sabtah and Raamah and Sabteca; and the sons of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan. Gen 10:8 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. (kjv) Gen 10:8 Now Cush became the father of Nimrod; he became a mighty one on the earth. Gen|10|8|Χους δὲ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Νεβρωδ οὗτος ἤρξατο εἶναι γίγας ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς
Gen 10:9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD. (kjv) Gen 10:9 He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; therefore it is said, "Like Nimrod a mighty hunter before the Lord." Gen 10:10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. Gen 10:11 Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah, (kjv) Gen 10:11 From that land he went forth into Assyria, and built Nineveh and Rehoboth- Ir and Calah, Gen|10|11|ἐκ τῆς γῆς ἐκείνης ἐξῆλθεν Ασσουρ καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν τὴν Νινευη καὶ τὴν Ροωβωθ πόλιν καὶ τὴν Χαλαχ

Gen 10:13 And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim, (kjv) Gen 10:13 Mizraim became the father of Ludim and Anamim and Lehabim and Naphtuhim Gen|10|13|καὶ Μεσραιμ ἐγέννησεν τοὺς Λουδιιμ καὶ τοὺς Ενεμετιιμ καὶ τοὺς Λαβιιμ καὶ τοὺς Νεφθαλιιμ
Gen 10:14 And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim. (kjv) Gen 10:14 and Pathrusim and Casluhim (from which came the Philistines) and Caphtorim. Gen|10|14|καὶ τοὺς Πατροσωνιιμ καὶ τοὺς Χασλωνιιμ ὅθεν ἐξῆλθεν ἐκεῖθεν Φυλιστιιμ καὶ τοὺς Καφθοριιμ
Gen 10:15 And Canaan begat Sidon his first born, and Heth, (kjv) Gen 10:15 Canaan became the father of Sidon, his firstborn, and Heth Gen|10|15|Χανααν δὲ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σιδῶνα πρωτότοκον καὶ τὸν Χετταῖον
Gen 10:16 And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite, (kjv) Gen 10:16 and the Jebusite and the Amorite and the Girgashite Gen|10|16|καὶ τὸν Ιεβουσαῖον καὶ τὸν Αμορραῖον καὶ τὸν Γεργεσαῖον
Gen 10:17 And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite, (kjv) Gen 10:17 and the Hivite and the Arkite and the Sinite Gen|10|17|καὶ τὸν Ευαῖον καὶ τὸν Αρουκαῖον καὶ τὸν Ασενναῖον
Gen 10:18 And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad. (kjv) Gen 10:18 and the Arvadite and the Zemarite and the Hamathite; and afterward the families of the Canaanite were spread abroad. Gen 10:19 And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha. (kjv) Gen 10:19 The territory of the Canaanite extended from Sidon as you go toward Gerar, as far as Gaza; as you go toward Sodom and Gomorrah and Admah and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha. Gen|10|19|καὶ ἐγένοντο τὰ ὅρια τῶν Χαναναίων ἀπὸ Σιδῶνος ἕως ἐλθεῖν εἰς Γεραρα καὶ Γάζαν ἕως ἐλθεῖν Σοδομων καὶ Γομορρας Αδαμα καὶ Σεβωιμ ἕως Λασα
Gen 10:20 These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations. (kjv) Gen 10:20 These are the sons of Ham, according to their families, according to their languages, by their lands, by their nations. Gen|10|20|οὗτοι υἱοὶ Χαμ ἐν ταῖς φυλαῖς αὐτῶν κατὰ γλώσσας αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς χώραις αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν αὐτῶν
Gen 10:21 Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born. (kjv) Gen 10:21 Also to Shem, the father of all the children of Eber, and the older brother of Japheth, children were born. Gen 12:8 And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and there he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD. Gen 12:10 And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was grievous in the land. Gen 12:11 And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon: (kjv) Gen 12:11 It came about when he came near to Egypt, that he said to Sarai his wife, "See now, I know that you are a beautiful woman; Gen|12|11|ἐγένετο δὲ ἡνίκα ἤγγισεν Αβραμ εἰσελθεῖν εἰς Αἴγυπτον εἶπεν Αβραμ Σαρα τῇ γυναικὶ αὐτοῦ γινώσκω ἐγὼ ὅτι γυνὴ εὐπρόσωπος εἶ
Gen 12:12 Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive. (kjv) Gen 12:12 and when the Egyptians see you, they will say, 'This is his wife'; and they will kill me, but they will let you live. Gen 12:13 Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee. (kjv) Gen 12:13 Please say that you are my sister so that it may go well with me because of you, and that I may live on account of you." Gen 12:14 And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair. (kjv) Gen 12:14 It came about when Abram came into Egypt, the Egyptians saw that the woman was very beautiful. Gen 12:15 The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house. (kjv) Gen 12:15 Pharaoh's officials saw her and praised her to Pharaoh; and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house. Gen 12:16 And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels. (kjv) Gen 12:16 Therefore he treated Abram well for her sake; and gave him sheep and oxen and donkeys and male and female servants and female donkeys and camels. Gen 12:17 And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife. Gen 12:18 And Pharaoh called Abram and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife? (kjv) Gen 12:18 Then Pharaoh called Abram and said, "What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife? Gen|12|18|καλέσας δὲ Φαραω τὸν Αβραμ εἶπεν τί τοῦτο ἐποίησάς μοι ὅτι οὐκ ἀπήγγειλάς μοι ὅτι γυνή σού ἐστιν
Gen 12:19 Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way. (kjv) Gen 12:19 Why did you say, 'She is my sister,' so that I took her for my wife? Now then, here is your wife, take her and go." Gen 12:20 And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had.(kjv) Gen 12:20 Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him; and they escorted him away, with his wife and all that belonged to him.
