Day - 035 - Leviticus 22-23
Lev 22:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Lev 22:1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Lev|22|1|καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Lev 22:2 Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in those things which they hallow unto me: I am the LORD. Lev 22:2 "Tell Aaron and his sons to be careful with the holy gifts of the sons of Israel, which they dedicate to Me, so as not to profane My holy name; I am the Lord. Lev|22|2|εἰπὸν Ααρων καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ προσεχέτωσαν ἀπὸ τῶν ἁγίων τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ οὐ βεβηλώσουσιν τὸ ὄνομα τὸ ἅγιόν μου ὅσα αὐτοὶ ἁγιάζουσίν μοι ἐγὼ κύριος
Lev 22:3 Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed among your generations, that goeth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I am the LORD. Lev 22:3 Say to them, 'If any man among all your descendants throughout your generations approaches the holy gifts which the sons of Israel dedicate to the Lord, while he has an uncleanness, that person shall be cut off from before Me; I am the Lord. Lev|22|3|εἰπὸν αὐτοῖς εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν πᾶς ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἂν προσέλθῃ ἀπὸ παντὸς τοῦ σπέρματος ὑμῶν πρὸς τὰ ἅγια ὅσα ἂν ἁγιάζωσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ ἡ ἀκαθαρσία αὐτοῦ ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ ἐξολεθρευθήσεται ἡ ψυχὴ ἐκείνη ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν
Lev 22:4 What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth any thing that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him; Lev 22:4 No man of the descendants of Aaron, who is a leper or who has a discharge, may eat of the holy gifts until he is clean. And if one touches anything made unclean by a corpse or if a man has a seminal emission, Lev|22|4|καὶ ἄνθρωπος ἐκ τοῦ σπέρματος Ααρων τοῦ ἱερέως καὶ οὗτος λεπρᾷ ἢ γονορρυής τῶν ἁγίων οὐκ ἔδεται ἕως ἂν καθαρισθῇ καὶ ὁ ἁπτόμενος πάσης ἀκαθαρσίας ψυχῆς ἢ ἄνθρωπος ᾧ ἂν ἐξέλθῃ ἐξ αὐτοῦ κοίτη σπέρματος
Lev 22:5 Or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath; Lev 22:5 or if a man touches any teeming things by which he is made unclean, or any man by whom he is made unclean, whatever his uncleanness; Lev|22|5|ἢ ὅστις ἂν ἅψηται παντὸς ἑρπετοῦ ἀκαθάρτου ὃ μιανεῖ αὐτόν ἢ ἐπ᾽ ἀνθρώπῳ ἐν ᾧ μιανεῖ αὐτὸν κατὰ πᾶσαν ἀκαθαρσίαν αὐτοῦ
Lev 22:6 The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with water. Lev 22:6 a person who touches any such shall be unclean until evening, and shall not eat of the holy gifts unless he has bathed his body in water. Lev|22|6|ψυχή ἥτις ἂν ἅψηται αὐτῶν ἀκάθαρτος ἔσται ἕως ἑσπέρας οὐκ ἔδεται ἀπὸ τῶν ἁγίων ἐὰν μὴ λούσηται τὸ σῶμα αὐτοῦ ὕδατι
Lev 22:7 And when the sun is down, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food. Lev 22:7 But when the sun sets, he will be clean, and afterward he shall eat of the holy gifts, for it is his food. Lev|22|7|καὶ δύῃ ὁ ἥλιος καὶ καθαρὸς ἔσται καὶ τότε φάγεται τῶν ἁγίων ὅτι ἄρτος ἐστὶν αὐτοῦ
Lev 22:8 That which dieth of itself, or is torn with beasts, he shall not eat to defile himself therewith; I am the LORD. Lev 22:8 He shall not eat an animal which dies or is torn by beasts, becoming unclean by it; I am the Lord. Lev|22|8|θνησιμαῖον καὶ θηριάλωτον οὐ φάγεται μιανθῆναι αὐτὸν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐγὼ κύριος
Lev 22:9 They shall therefore keep mine ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them. Lev 22:9 They shall therefore keep My charge, so that they will not bear sin because of it and die thereby because they profane it; I am the Lord who sanctifies them. Lev|22|9|καὶ φυλάξονται τὰ φυλάγματά μου ἵνα μὴ λάβωσιν δι᾽ αὐτὰ ἁμαρτίαν καὶ ἀποθάνωσιν δι᾽ αὐτά ἐὰν βεβηλώσωσιν αὐτά ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ ἁγιάζων αὐτούς
Lev 22:10 There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing. Lev 22:10 'No layman, however, is to eat the holy gift; a sojourner with the priest or a hired man shall not eat of the holy gift. Lev|22|10|καὶ πᾶς ἀλλογενὴς οὐ φάγεται ἅγια πάροικος ἱερέως ἢ μισθωτὸς οὐ φάγεται ἅγια
Lev 22:11 But if the priest buy any soul with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his meat. Lev 22:11 But if a priest buys a slave as his property with his money, that one may eat of it, and those who are born in his house may eat of his food. Lev|22|11|ἐὰν δὲ ἱερεὺς κτήσηται ψυχὴν ἔγκτητον ἀργυρίου οὗτος φάγεται ἐκ τῶν ἄρτων αὐτοῦ καὶ οἱ οἰκογενεῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ οὗτοι φάγονται τῶν ἄρτων αὐτοῦ
Lev 22:12 If the priest's daughter also be married unto a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things. Lev 22:12 If a priest's daughter is married to a layman, she shall not eat of the offering of the gifts. Lev|22|12|καὶ θυγάτηρ ἀνθρώπου ἱερέως ἐὰν γένηται ἀνδρὶ ἀλλογενεῖ αὐτὴ τῶν ἀπαρχῶν τῶν ἁγίων οὐ φάγεται
Lev 22:13 But if the priest's daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and is returned unto her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's meat: but there shall be no stranger eat thereof. Lev 22:13 But if a priest's daughter becomes a widow or divorced, and has no child and returns to her father's house as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's food; but no layman shall eat of it. Lev|22|13|καὶ θυγάτηρ ἱερέως ἐὰν γένηται χήρα ἢ ἐκβεβλημένη σπέρμα δὲ μὴ ἦν αὐτῇ ἐπαναστρέψει ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον τὸν πατρικὸν κατὰ τὴν νεότητα αὐτῆς ἀπὸ τῶν ἄρτων τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῆς φάγεται καὶ πᾶς ἀλλογενὴς οὐ φάγεται ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν
Lev 22:14 And if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest with the holy thing. Lev 22:14 But if a man eats a holy gift unintentionally, then he shall add to it a fifth of it and shall give the holy gift to the priest. Lev|22|14|καὶ ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἂν φάγῃ ἅγια κατὰ ἄγνοιαν καὶ προσθήσει τὸ ἐπίπεμπτον αὐτοῦ ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ καὶ δώσει τῷ ἱερεῖ τὸ ἅγιον
Lev 22:15 And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto the LORD; Lev 22:15 They shall not profane the holy gifts of the sons of Israel which they offer to the Lord, Lev|22|15|καὶ οὐ βεβηλώσουσιν τὰ ἅγια τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἃ αὐτοὶ ἀφαιροῦσιν τῷ κυρίῳ
Lev 22:16 Or suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the LORD do sanctify them. Lev 22:16 and so cause them to bear punishment for guilt by eating their holy gifts; for I am the Lord who sanctifies them.'" Lev|22|16|καὶ ἐπάξουσιν ἐφ᾽ ἑαυτοὺς ἀνομίαν πλημμελείας ἐν τῷ ἐσθίειν αὐτοὺς τὰ ἅγια αὐτῶν ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ ἁγιάζων αὐτούς
Lev 22:17 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Lev 22:17 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Lev|22|17|καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Lev 22:18 Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatsoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they will offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering; Lev 22:18 "Speak to Aaron and to his sons and to all the sons of Israel and say to them, 'Any man of the house of Israel or of the aliens in Israel who presents his offering, whether it is any of their votive or any of their freewill offerings, which they present to the Lord for a burnt offering" Lev|22|18|λάλησον Ααρων καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ πάσῃ συναγωγῇ Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ἄνθρωπος ἄνθρωπος ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἢ τῶν υἱῶν τῶν προσηλύτων τῶν προσκειμένων πρὸς αὐτοὺς ἐν Ισραηλ ὃς ἂν προσενέγκῃ τὰ δῶρα αὐτοῦ κατὰ πᾶσαν ὁμολογίαν αὐτῶν ἢ κατὰ πᾶσαν αἵρεσιν αὐτῶν ὅσα ἂν προσενέγκωσιν τῷ θεῷ εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα
Lev 22:19 Ye shall offer at your own will a male without blemish, of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats. Lev 22:19 for you to be accepted"it must be a male without defect from the cattle, the sheep, or the goats. Lev|22|19|δεκτὰ ὑμῖν ἄμωμα ἄρσενα ἐκ τῶν βουκολίων καὶ ἐκ τῶν προβάτων καὶ ἐκ τῶν αἰγῶν
Lev 22:20 But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you. Lev 22:20 Whatever has a defect, you shall not offer, for it will not be accepted for you. Lev|22|20|πάντα ὅσα ἂν ἔχῃ μῶμον ἐν αὐτῷ οὐ προσάξουσιν κυρίῳ διότι οὐ δεκτὸν ἔσται ὑμῖν
Lev 22:21 And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD to accomplish his vow, or a freewill offering in beeves or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein. Lev 22:21 When a man offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord to fulfill a special vow or for a freewill offering, of the herd or of the flock, it must be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no defect in it. Lev|22|21|καὶ ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἂν προσενέγκῃ θυσίαν σωτηρίου τῷ κυρίῳ διαστείλας εὐχὴν κατὰ αἵρεσιν ἢ ἐν ταῖς ἑορταῖς ὑμῶν ἐκ τῶν βουκολίων ἢ ἐκ τῶν προβάτων ἄμωμον ἔσται εἰς δεκτόν πᾶς μῶμος οὐκ ἔσται ἐν αὐτῷ
Lev 22:22 Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD. Lev 22:22 Those that are blind or fractured or maimed or having a running sore or eczema or scabs, you shall not offer to the Lord, nor make of them an offering by fire on the altar to the Lord. Lev|22|22|τυφλὸν ἢ συντετριμμένον ἢ γλωσσότμητον ἢ μυρμηκιῶντα ἢ ψωραγριῶντα ἢ λιχῆνας ἔχοντα οὐ προσάξουσιν ταῦτα τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ εἰς κάρπωσιν οὐ δώσετε ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῷ κυρίῳ
Lev 22:23 Either a bullock or a lamb that hath any thing superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted. Lev 22:23 In respect to an ox or a lamb which has an overgrown or stunted member, you may present it for a freewill offering, but for a vow it will not be accepted. Lev|22|23|καὶ μόσχον ἢ πρόβατον ὠτότμητον ἢ κολοβόκερκον σφάγια ποιήσεις αὐτὰ σεαυτῷ εἰς δὲ εὐχήν σου οὐ δεχθήσεται
Lev 22:24 Ye shall not offer unto the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land. Lev 22:24 Also anything with its testicles bruised or crushed or torn or cut, you shall not offer to the Lord, or sacrifice in your land, Lev|22|24|θλαδίαν καὶ ἐκτεθλιμμένον καὶ ἐκτομίαν καὶ ἀπεσπασμένον οὐ προσάξεις αὐτὰ τῷ κυρίῳ καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ὑμῶν οὐ ποιήσετε
Lev 22:25 Neither from a stranger's hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes be in them: they shall not be accepted for you. Lev 22:25 nor shall you accept any such from the hand of a foreigner for offering as the food of your God; for their corruption is in them, they have a defect, they shall not be accepted for you.'" Lev|22|25|καὶ ἐκ χειρὸς ἀλλογενοῦς οὐ προσοίσετε τὰ δῶρα τοῦ θεοῦ ὑμῶν ἀπὸ πάντων τούτων ὅτι φθάρματά ἐστιν ἐν αὐτοῖς μῶμος ἐν αὐτοῖς οὐ δεχθήσεται ταῦτα ὑμῖν
Lev 22:26 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Lev 22:26 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Lev|22|26|καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Lev 22:27 When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire unto the LORD. Lev 22:27 "When an ox or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall remain seven days with its mother, and from the eighth day on it shall be accepted as a sacrifice of an offering by fire to the Lord. Lev|22|27|μόσχον ἢ πρόβατον ἢ αἶγα ὡς ἂν τεχθῇ καὶ ἔσται ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ὑπὸ τὴν μητέρα τῇ δὲ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ὀγδόῃ καὶ ἐπέκεινα δεχθήσεται εἰς δῶρα κάρπωμα κυρίῳ
Lev 22:28 And whether it be cow, or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day. Lev 22:28 But, whether it is an ox or a sheep, you shall not kill both it and its young in one day. Lev|22|28|καὶ μόσχον ἢ πρόβατον αὐτὴν καὶ τὰ παιδία αὐτῆς οὐ σφάξεις ἐν ἡμέρᾳ μιᾷ
Lev 22:29 And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own will. Lev 22:29 When you sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Lord, you shall sacrifice it so that you may be accepted. Lev|22|29|ἐὰν δὲ θύσῃς θυσίαν εὐχὴν χαρμοσύνης κυρίῳ εἰς δεκτὸν ὑμῖν θύσετε αὐτό
Lev 22:30 On the same day it shall be eaten up; ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I am the LORD. Lev 22:30 It shall be eaten on the same day, you shall leave none of it until morning; I am the Lord. Lev|22|30|αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ βρωθήσεται οὐκ ἀπολείψετε ἀπὸ τῶν κρεῶν εἰς τὸ πρωί ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος
Lev 22:31 Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD. Lev 22:31 So you shall keep My commandments, and do them; I am the Lord. Lev|22|31|καὶ φυλάξετε τὰς ἐντολάς μου καὶ ποιήσετε αὐτάς
Lev 22:32 Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you, Lev 22:32 "You shall not profane My holy name, but I will be sanctified among the sons of Israel; I am the Lord who sanctifies you, Lev|22|32|καὶ οὐ βεβηλώσετε τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ ἁγίου καὶ ἁγιασθήσομαι ἐν μέσῳ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ ἁγιάζων ὑμᾶς
Lev 22:33 That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD. Lev 22:33 who brought you out from the land of Egypt, to be your God; I am the Lord." Lev|22|33|ὁ ἐξαγαγὼν ὑμᾶς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου ὥστε εἶναι ὑμῶν θεός ἐγὼ κύριος
Lev 23:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Lev 23:1 The Lord spoke again to Moses, saying, Lev|23|1|καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Lev 23:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. Lev 23:2 "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'The Lord's appointed times which you shall proclaim as holy convocations" My appointed times are these: Lev|23|2|λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς αἱ ἑορταὶ κυρίου ἃς καλέσετε αὐτὰς κλητὰς ἁγίας αὗταί εἰσιν ἑορταί μου
Lev 23:3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings. Lev 23:3 'For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation. You shall not do any work; it is a sabbath to the Lord in all your dwellings. Lev|23|3|ἓξ ἡμέρας ποιήσεις ἔργα καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ σάββατα ἀνάπαυσις κλητὴ ἁγία τῷ κυρίῳ πᾶν ἔργον οὐ ποιήσεις σάββατά ἐστιν τῷ κυρίῳ ἐν πάσῃ κατοικίᾳ ὑμῶν
Lev 23:4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. Lev 23:4 'These are the appointed times of the Lord, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at the times appointed for them. Lev|23|4|αὗται αἱ ἑορταὶ τῷ κυρίῳ κληταὶ ἅγιαι ἃς καλέσετε αὐτὰς ἐν τοῖς καιροῖς αὐτῶν
Lev 23:5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD's passover. Lev 23:5 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at twilight is the Lord's Passover. Lev|23|5|ἐν τῷ πρώτῳ μηνὶ ἐν τῇ τεσσαρεσκαιδεκάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ μηνὸς ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ἑσπερινῶν πάσχα τῷ κυρίῳ
Lev 23:6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. Lev 23:6 Then on the fifteenth day of the same month there is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread. Lev|23|6|καὶ ἐν τῇ πεντεκαιδεκάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ μηνὸς τούτου ἑορτὴ τῶν ἀζύμων τῷ κυρίῳ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἄζυμα ἔδεσθε
Lev 23:7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. Lev 23:7 On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work. Lev|23|7|καὶ ἡ ἡμέρα ἡ πρώτη κλητὴ ἁγία ἔσται ὑμῖν πᾶν ἔργον λατρευτὸν οὐ ποιήσετε
Lev 23:8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. Lev 23:8 But for seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the Lord. On the seventh day is a holy convocation; you shall not do any laborious work.'" Lev|23|8|καὶ προσάξετε ὁλοκαυτώματα τῷ κυρίῳ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας καὶ ἡ ἑβδόμη ἡμέρα κλητὴ ἁγία ἔσται ὑμῖν πᾶν ἔργον λατρευτὸν οὐ ποιήσετε
Lev 23:9 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Lev 23:9 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Lev|23|9|καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Lev 23:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: Lev 23:10 "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When you enter the land which I am going to give to you and reap its harvest, then you shall bring in the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. Lev|23|10|εἰπὸν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς ὅταν εἰσέλθητε εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν ἐγὼ δίδωμι ὑμῖν καὶ θερίζητε τὸν θερισμὸν αὐτῆς καὶ οἴσετε δράγμα ἀπαρχὴν τοῦ θερισμοῦ ὑμῶν πρὸς τὸν ἱερέα
Lev 23:11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. Lev 23:11 He shall wave the sheaf before the Lord for you to be accepted; on the day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. Lev 23:12 And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the LORD. Lev 23:12 Now on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb one year old without defect for a burnt offering to the Lord. Lev 23:13 And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD for a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin. Lev 23:13 Its grain offering shall then be two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering by fire to the Lord for a soothing aroma, with its drink offering, a fourth of a hin of wine. Lev 23:14 And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. Lev 23:14 Until this same day, until you have brought in the offering of your God, you shall eat neither bread nor roasted grain nor new growth. It is to be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places. Lev 23:15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: Lev 23:15 'You shall also count for yourselves from the day after the sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete sabbaths. Lev 23:16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD. Lev 23:16 You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh sabbath; then you shall present a new grain offering to the Lord. Lev 23:17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals; they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the LORD. Lev 23:17 You shall bring in from your dwelling places two loaves of bread for a wave offering, made of two-tenths of an ephah; they shall be of a fine flour, baked with leaven as first fruits to the Lord. Lev 23:18 And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the LORD, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the LORD. Lev 23:19 Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings. Lev 23:19 You shall also offer one male goat for a sin offering and two male lambs one year old for a sacrifice of peace offerings. Lev 23:20 And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest. Lev 23:20 The priest shall then wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering with two lambs before the Lord; they are to be holy to the Lord for the priest. Lev 23:21 And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations. Lev 23:21 On this same day you shall make a proclamation as well; you are to have a holy convocation. You shall do no laborious work. It is to be a perpetual statute in all your dwelling places throughout your generations. Lev 23:22 And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am the LORD your God. Lev 23:22 'When you reap the harvest of your land, moreover, you shall not reap to the very corners of your field nor gather the gleaning of your harvest; you are to leave them for the needy and the alien. I am the Lord your God.'" Lev|23|22|καὶ ὅταν θερίζητε τὸν θερισμὸν τῆς γῆς ὑμῶν οὐ συντελέσετε τὸ λοιπὸν τοῦ θερισμοῦ τοῦ ἀγροῦ σου ἐν τῷ θερίζειν σε καὶ τὰ ἀποπίπτοντα τοῦ θερισμοῦ σου οὐ συλλέξεις τῷ πτωχῷ καὶ τῷ προσηλύτῳ ὑπολείψῃ αὐτά ἐγὼ κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν
Lev 23:23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Lev 23:23 Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Lev|23|23|καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων
Lev 23:24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. Lev 23:24 "Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'In the seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. Lev 23:25 Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD. Lev 23:25 You shall not do any laborious work, but you shall present an offering by fire to the Lord.'" Lev|23|25|πᾶν ἔργον λατρευτὸν οὐ ποιήσετε καὶ προσάξετε ὁλοκαύτωμα κυρίῳ

Lev 23:27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD. Lev 23:27 "On exactly the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement; it shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall humble your souls and present an offering by fire to the Lord. Lev|23|27|καὶ τῇ δεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ ἑβδόμου τούτου ἡμέρα ἐξιλασμοῦ κλητὴ ἁγία ἔσται ὑμῖν καὶ ταπεινώσετε τὰς ψυχὰς ὑμῶν καὶ προσάξετε ὁλοκαύτωμα τῷ κυρίῳ
Lev 23:28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God. Lev 23:28 You shall not do any work on this same day, for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement on your behalf before the Lord your God. Lev 23:29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people. Lev 23:29 If there is any person who will not humble himself on this same day, he shall be cut off from his people. Lev|23|29|πᾶσα ψυχή ἥτις μὴ ταπεινωθήσεται ἐν αὐτῇ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ ἐξολεθρευθήσεται ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτῆς
Lev 23:30 And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people. Lev 23:30 As for any person who does any work on this same day, that person I will destroy from among his people. Lev 23:34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD. Lev 23:40 And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days. Lev 23:40 Now on the first day you shall take for yourselves the foliage of beautiful trees, palm branches and boughs of leafy trees and willows of the brook, and you shall rejoice before the Lord your God for seven days. Lev 23:41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the LORD seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. Lev 23:42 Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths: Lev 23:42 You shall live in booths for seven days; all the native-born in Israel shall live in booths, Lev|23|42|ἐν σκηναῖς κατοικήσετε ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας πᾶς ὁ αὐτόχθων ἐν Ισραηλ κατοικήσει ἐν σκηναῖς
Lev 23:43 That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God. Lev 23:43 so that your generations may know that I had the sons of Israel live in booths when I brought them out from the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.'"
