1Ch 13:2 And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us: 1 Chr 13:2 David said to all the assembly of Israel, "If it seems good to you, and if it is from the Lord our God, let us send everywhere to our kinsmen who remain in all the land of Israel, also to the priests and Levites who are with them in their cities with pasture lands, that they may meet with us; Ch1|13|2|καὶ εἶπεν Δαυιδ τῇ πάσῃ ἐκκλησίᾳ Ισραηλ εἰ ἐφ᾽ ὑμῖν ἀγαθὸν καὶ παρὰ κυρίου θεοῦ ἡμῶν εὐοδωθῇ ἀποστείλωμεν πρὸς τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ἡμῶν τοὺς ὑπολελειμμένους ἐν πάσῃ γῇ Ισραηλ καὶ μετ᾽ αὐτῶν οἱ ἱερεῖς οἱ Λευῖται ἐν πόλεσιν κατασχέσεως αὐτῶν καὶ συναχθήσονται πρὸς ἡμᾶς
1Ch 13:3 And let us bring again the ark of our God to us: for we enquired not at it in the days of Saul. 1 Chr 13:3 and let us bring back the ark of our God to us, for we did not seek it in the days of Saul." 1Ch 13:9 And when they came unto the threshingfloor of Chidon, Uzza put forth his hand to hold the ark; for the oxen stumbled. 1 Chr 13:9 When they came to the threshing floor of Chidon, Uzza put out his hand to hold the ark, because the oxen nearly upset it. 1Ch 13:10 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God. 1 Chr 13:10 The anger of the Lord burned against Uzza, so He struck him down because he put out his hand to the ark; and he died there before God. 1Ch 13:11 And David was displeased, because the LORD had made a breach upon Uzza: wherefore that place is called Perezuzza to this day. 1 Chr 13:11 Then David became angry because of the Lord's outburst against Uzza; and he called that place Perez-uzza to this day. 1Ch 13:14 And the ark of God remained with the family of Obededom in his house three months. 1Ch 14:2 And David perceived that the LORD had confirmed him king over Israel, for his kingdom was lifted up on high, because of his people Israel. 1 Chr 14:2 And David realized that the Lord had established him as king over Israel, and that his kingdom was highly exalted, for the sake of His people Israel. 1Ch 14:8 And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David. And David heard of it, and went out against them. 1 Chr 14:8 When the Philistines heard that David had been anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up in search of David; and David heard of it and went out against them. 1Ch 14:9 And the Philistines came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim. 1 Chr 14:9 Now the Philistines had come and made a raid in the valley of Rephaim. Ch1|14|9|καὶ ἀλλόφυλοι ἦλθον καὶ συνέπεσον ἐν τῇ κοιλάδι τῶν γιγάντων
1Ch 14:10 And David enquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? And wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand. 1 Chr 14:10 David inquired of God, saying, "Shall I go up against the Philistines? And will You give them into my hand?" Then the Lord said to him, "Go up, for I will give them into your hand." 1Ch 14:11 So they came up to Baalperazim; and David smote them there. Then David said, God hath broken in upon mine enemies by mine hand like the breaking forth of waters: therefore they called the name of that place Baalperazim. 1 Chr 14:11 So they came up to Baal-perazim, and David defeated them there; and David said, "God has broken through my enemies by my hand, like the breakthrough of waters." Therefore they named that place Baal-perazim. 1Ch 14:12 And when they had left their gods there, David gave a commandment, and they were burned with fire. 1 Chr 14:12 They abandoned their gods there; so David gave the order and they were burned with fire. Ch1|14|12|καὶ ἐγκατέλιπον ἐκεῖ τοὺς θεοὺς αὐτῶν καὶ εἶπεν Δαυιδ κατακαῦσαι αὐτοὺς ἐν πυρί
1Ch 14:13 And the Philistines yet again spread themselves abroad in the valley. 1 Chr 14:13 The Philistines made yet another raid in the valley. Ch1|14|13|καὶ προσέθεντο ἔτι ἀλλόφυλοι καὶ συνέπεσαν ἔτι ἐν τῇ κοιλάδι τῶν γιγάντων
1Ch 14:14 Therefore David enquired again of God; and God said unto him, Go not up after them; turn away from them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees. 1 Chr 14:14 David inquired again of God, and God said to him, "You shall not go up after them; circle around behind them and come at them in front of the balsam trees. 1Ch 14:15 And it shall be, when thou shalt hear a sound of going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt go out to battle: for God is gone forth before thee to smite the host of the Philistines. 1 Chr 14:15 It shall be when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then you shall go out to battle, for God will have gone out before you to strike the army of the Philistines." Ch1|14|15|καὶ ἔσται ἐν τῷ ἀκοῦσαί σε τὴν φωνὴν τοῦ συσσεισμοῦ τῶν ἄκρων τῶν ἀπίων τότε ἐξελεύσῃ εἰς τὸν πόλεμον ὅτι ἐξῆλθεν ὁ θεὸς ἔμπροσθέν σου τοῦ πατάξαι τὴν παρεμβολὴν τῶν ἀλλοφύλων
1Ch 14:16 David therefore did as God commanded him: and they smote the host of the Philistines from Gibeon even to Gazer. 1 Chr 14:16 David did just as God had commanded him, and they struck down the army of the Philistines from Gibeon even as far as Gezer. 1Ch 15:1 And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent. 1 Chr 15:1 Now David built houses for himself in the city of David; and he prepared a place for the ark of God and pitched a tent for it. 1Ch 15:2 Then David said, None ought to carry the ark of God but the Levites: for them hath the LORD chosen to carry the ark of God, and to minister unto him for ever. 1 Chr 15:2 Then David said, "No one is to carry the ark of God but the Levites; for the Lord chose them to carry the ark of God and to minister to Him forever." 1Ch 15:12 And said unto them, Ye are the chief of the fathers of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both ye and your brethren, that ye may bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel unto the place that I have prepared for it. 1 Chr 15:12 and said to them, "You are the heads of the fathers' households of the Levites; consecrate yourselves both you and your relatives, that you may bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel to the place that I have prepared for it. 1Ch 15:13 For because ye did it not at the first, the LORD our God made a breach upon us, for that we sought him not after the due order. 1 Chr 15:13 Because you did not carry it at the first, the Lord our God made an outburst on us, for we did not seek Him according to the ordinance." 1Ch 15:14 So the priests and the Levites sanctified themselves to bring up the ark of the LORD God of Israel. 1 Chr 15:14 So the priests and the Levites consecrated themselves to bring up the ark of the Lord God of Israel.
