Eze 25:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, Eze 25:1 And the word of the Lord came to me saying, Eze|25|1|καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
Eze 25:2 Son of man, set thy face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them; Eze 25:2 "Son of man, set your face toward the sons of Ammon and prophesy against them, Eze|25|2|υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου στήρισον τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἐπὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς Αμμων καὶ προφήτευσον ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς
Eze 25:3 And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity; Eze 25:3 and say to the sons of Ammon, 'Hear the word of the Lord God! Thus says the Lord God," Because you said, 'Aha! 'against My sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into exile, Eze|25|3|καὶ ἐρεῖς τοῖς υἱοῖς Αμμων ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἐπεχάρητε ἐπὶ τὰ ἅγιά μου ὅτι ἐβεβηλώθη καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν τοῦ Ισραηλ ὅτι ἠφανίσθη καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ιουδα ὅτι ἐπορεύθησαν ἐν αἰχμαλωσίᾳ
Eze 25:4 Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk. Eze 25:4 therefore, behold, I am going to give you to the sons of the east for a possession, and they will set their encampments among you and make their dwellings among you; they will eat your fruit and drink your milk. Eze|25|4|διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ παραδίδωμι ὑμᾶς τοῖς υἱοῖς Κεδεμ εἰς κληρονομίαν καὶ κατασκηνώσουσιν ἐν τῇ ἀπαρτίᾳ αὐτῶν ἐν σοὶ καὶ δώσουσιν ἐν σοὶ τὰ σκηνώματα αὐτῶν αὐτοὶ φάγονται τοὺς καρπούς σου καὶ αὐτοὶ πίονται τὴν πιότητά σου
Eze 25:5 And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couching place for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. Eze 25:5 I will make Rabbah a pasture for camels and the sons of Ammon a resting place for flocks. Thus you will know that I am the Lord." Eze|25|5|καὶ δώσω τὴν πόλιν τοῦ Αμμων εἰς νομὰς καμήλων καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς Αμμων εἰς νομὴν προβάτων καὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ κύριος
Eze 25:6 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel; Eze 25:6 For thus says the Lord God," Because you have clapped your hands and stamped your feet and rejoiced with all the scorn of your soul against the land of Israel, Eze|25|6|διότι τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἐκρότησας τὴν χεῖρά σου καὶ ἐπεψόφησας τῷ ποδί σου καὶ ἐπέχαρας ἐκ ψυχῆς σου ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν τοῦ Ισραηλ
Eze 25:7 Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD. Eze 25:7 therefore, behold, I have stretched out My hand against you and I will give you for spoil to the nations. And I will cut you off from the peoples and make you perish from the lands; I will destroy you. Thus you will know that I am the Lord." Eze|25|7|διὰ τοῦτο ἐκτενῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ δώσω σε εἰς διαρπαγὴν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσω σε ἐκ τῶν λαῶν καὶ ἀπολῶ σε ἐκ τῶν χωρῶν ἀπωλείᾳ καὶ ἐπιγνώσῃ διότι ἐγὼ κύριος
Eze 25:8 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen; Eze 25:8 'Thus says the Lord God," Because Moab and Seir say, 'Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations, ' Eze|25|8|τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾽ ὧν εἶπεν Μωαβ ἰδοὺ ὃν τρόπον πάντα τὰ ἔθνη οἶκος Ισραηλ καὶ Ιουδα
Eze 25:9 Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Bethjeshimoth, Baalmeon, and Kiriathaim, Eze 25:9 therefore, behold, I am going to deprive the flank of Moab of its cities, of its cities which are on its frontiers, the glory of the land, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon and Kiriathaim, Eze|25|9|διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ παραλύω τὸν ὦμον Μωαβ ἀπὸ πόλεων ἀκρωτηρίων αὐτοῦ ἐκλεκτὴν γῆν οἶκον Ασιμουθ ἐπάνω πηγῆς πόλεως παραθαλασσίας
Eze 25:10 Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations. Eze 25:10 and I will give it for a possession along with the sons of Ammon to the sons of the east, so that the sons of Ammon will not be remembered among the nations. Eze|25|10|τοῖς υἱοῖς Κεδεμ ἐπὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς Αμμων δέδωκα αὐτοὺς εἰς κληρονομίαν ὅπως μὴ μνεία γένηται τῶν υἱῶν Αμμων
Eze 25:11 And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD. Eze 25:11 Thus I will execute judgments on Moab, and they will know that I am the Lord." Eze|25|11|καὶ εἰς Μωαβ ποιήσω ἐκδίκησιν καὶ ἐπιγνώσονται διότι ἐγὼ κύριος
Eze 25:12 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because that Edom hath dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and hath greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them; Eze 25:12 'Thus says the Lord God," Because Edom has acted against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has incurred grievous guilt, and avenged themselves upon them," Eze|25|12|τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἐποίησεν ἡ Ιδουμαία ἐν τῷ ἐκδικῆσαι αὐτοὺς ἐκδίκησιν εἰς τὸν οἶκον Ιουδα καὶ ἐμνησικάκησαν καὶ ἐξεδίκησαν δίκην
Eze 25:13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword. Eze 25:13 therefore thus says the Lord God," I will also stretch out My hand against Edom and cut off man and beast from it. And I will lay it waste; from Teman even to Dedan they will fall by the sword. Eze|25|13|διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος καὶ ἐκτενῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ τὴν Ιδουμαίαν καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσω ἐξ αὐτῆς ἄνθρωπον καὶ κτῆνος καὶ θήσομαι αὐτὴν ἔρημον καὶ ἐκ Θαιμαν διωκόμενοι ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ πεσοῦνται
Eze 25:14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD. Eze 25:14 I will lay My vengeance on Edom by the hand of My people Israel. Therefore, they will act in Edom according to My anger and according to My wrath; thus they will know My vengeance," declares the Lord God. Eze|25|14|καὶ δώσω ἐκδίκησίν μου ἐπὶ τὴν Ιδουμαίαν ἐν χειρὶ λαοῦ μου Ισραηλ καὶ ποιήσουσιν ἐν τῇ Ιδουμαίᾳ κατὰ τὴν ὀργήν μου καὶ κατὰ τὸν θυμόν μου καὶ ἐπιγνώσονται τὴν ἐκδίκησίν μου λέγει κύριος
Eze 25:15 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred; Eze 25:15 'Thus says the Lord God," Because the Philistines have acted in revenge and have taken vengeance with scorn of soul to destroy with everlasting enmity," Eze|25|15|διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἐποίησαν οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι ἐν ἐκδικήσει καὶ ἐξανέστησαν ἐκδίκησιν ἐπιχαίροντες ἐκ ψυχῆς τοῦ ἐξαλεῖψαι ἕως αἰῶνος
Eze 25:16 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast. Eze 25:16 therefore thus says the Lord God," Behold, I will stretch out My hand against the Philistines, even cut off the Cherethites and destroy the remnant of the seacoast. Eze|25|16|διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐκτενῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσω Κρῆτας καὶ ἀπολῶ τοὺς καταλοίπους τοὺς κατοικοῦντας τὴν παραλίαν
Eze 25:17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them. Eze 25:17 I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes; and they will know that I am the Lord when I lay My vengeance on them."'" Eze|25|17|καὶ ποιήσω ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐκδικήσεις μεγάλας καὶ ἐπιγνώσονται διότι ἐγὼ κύριος ἐν τῷ δοῦναι τὴν ἐκδίκησίν μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς
Eze 26:1 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Eze 26:1 Now in the eleventh year, on the first of the month, the word of the Lord came to me saying, Eze|26|1|καὶ ἐγενήθη ἐν τῷ ἑνδεκάτῳ ἔτει μιᾷ τοῦ μηνὸς ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων
Eze 26:2 Son of man, because that Tyrus hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste: Eze 26:2 "Son of man, because Tyre has said concerning Jerusalem, 'Aha, the gateway of the peoples is broken; it has opened to me. I shall be filled, now that she is laid waste, ' Eze|26|2|υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου ἀνθ᾽ ὧν εἶπεν Σορ ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ εὖγε συνετρίβη ἀπόλωλεν τὰ ἔθνη ἐπεστράφη πρός με ἡ πλήρης ἠρήμωται
Eze 26:3 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up. Eze 26:3 therefore thus says the Lord God, 'Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and I will bring up many nations against you, as the sea brings up its waves. Eze|26|3|διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ σέ Σορ καὶ ἀνάξω ἐπὶ σὲ ἔθνη πολλά ὡς ἀναβαίνει ἡ θάλασσα τοῖς κύμασιν αὐτῆς
Eze 26:4 And they shall destroy the walls of Tyrus, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her like the top of a rock. Eze 26:4 They will destroy the walls of Tyre and break down her towers; and I will scrape her debris from her and make her a bare rock. Eze|26|4|καὶ καταβαλοῦσιν τὰ τείχη Σορ καὶ καταβαλοῦσι τοὺς πύργους σου καὶ λικμήσω τὸν χοῦν αὐτῆς ἀπ᾽ αὐτῆς καὶ δώσω αὐτὴν εἰς λεωπετρίαν
Eze 26:5 It shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD: and it shall become a spoil to the nations. Eze 26:5 She will be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea, for I have spoken, 'declares the Lord God, 'and she will become spoil for the nations. Eze|26|5|ψυγμὸς σαγηνῶν ἔσται ἐν μέσῳ θαλάσσης ὅτι ἐγὼ λελάληκα λέγει κύριος καὶ ἔσται εἰς προνομὴν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν
Eze 26:6 And her daughters which are in the field shall be slain by the sword; and they shall know that I am the LORD. Eze 26:6 Also her daughters who are on the mainland will be slain by the sword, and they will know that I am the Lord. '" Eze|26|6|καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες αὐτῆς αἱ ἐν τῷ πεδίῳ μαχαίρᾳ ἀναιρεθήσονται καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος
Eze 26:7 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people. Eze 26:7 For thus says the Lord God," Behold, I will bring upon Tyre from the north Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses, chariots, cavalry and a great army. Eze|26|7|ὅτι τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπάγω ἐπὶ σέ Σορ τὸν Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλέα Βαβυλῶνος ἀπὸ τοῦ βορρᾶ βασιλεὺς βασιλέων ἐστίν μεθ᾽ ἵππων καὶ ἁρμάτων καὶ ἱππέων καὶ συναγωγῆς ἐθνῶν πολλῶν σφόδρα
Eze 26:8 He shall slay with the sword thy daughters in the field: and he shall make a fort against thee, and cast a mount against thee, and lift up the buckler against thee. Eze 26:8 He will slay your daughters on the mainland with the sword; and he will make siege walls against you, cast up a ramp against you and raise up a large shield against you. Eze|26|8|οὗτος τὰς θυγατέρας σου τὰς ἐν τῷ πεδίῳ μαχαίρᾳ ἀνελεῖ καὶ δώσει ἐπὶ σὲ προφυλακὴν καὶ περιοικοδομήσει καὶ ποιήσει ἐπὶ σὲ κύκλῳ χάρακα καὶ περίστασιν ὅπλων καὶ τὰς λόγχας αὐτοῦ ἀπέναντί σου δώσει
Eze 26:9 And he shall set engines of war against thy walls, and with his axes he shall break down thy towers. Eze 26:9 The blow of his battering rams he will direct against your walls, and with his axes he will break down your towers. Eze|26|9|τὰ τείχη σου καὶ τοὺς πύργους σου καταβαλεῖ ἐν ταῖς μαχαίραις αὐτοῦ
Eze 26:10 By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover thee: thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the chariots, when he shall enter into thy gates, as men enter into a city wherein is made a breach. Eze 26:10 Because of the multitude of his horses, the dust raised by them will cover you; your walls will shake at the noise of cavalry and wagons and chariots when he enters your gates as men enter a city that is breached. Eze|26|10|ἀπὸ τοῦ πλήθους τῶν ἵππων αὐτοῦ κατακαλύψει σε ὁ κονιορτὸς αὐτῶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς φωνῆς τῶν ἱππέων αὐτοῦ καὶ τῶν τροχῶν τῶν ἁρμάτων αὐτοῦ σεισθήσεται τὰ τείχη σου εἰσπορευομένου αὐτοῦ τὰς πύλας σου ὡς εἰσπορευόμενος εἰς πόλιν ἐκ πεδίου
Eze 26:11 With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: he shall slay thy people by the sword, and thy strong garrisons shall go down to the ground. Eze 26:11 With the hoofs of his horses he will trample all your streets. He will slay your people with the sword; and your strong pillars will come down to the ground. Eze|26|11|ἐν ταῖς ὁπλαῖς τῶν ἵππων αὐτοῦ καταπατήσουσίν σου πάσας τὰς πλατείας τὸν λαόν σου μαχαίρᾳ ἀνελεῖ καὶ τὴν ὑπόστασίν σου τῆς ἰσχύος ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν κατάξει
Eze 26:12 And they shall make a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey of thy merchandise: and they shall break down thy walls, and destroy thy pleasant houses: and they shall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the water. Eze 26:12 Also they will make a spoil of your riches and a prey of your merchandise, break down your walls and destroy your pleasant houses, and throw your stones and your timbers and your debris into the water. Eze|26|12|καὶ προνομεύσει τὴν δύναμίν σου καὶ σκυλεύσει τὰ ὑπάρχοντά σου καὶ καταβαλεῖ σου τὰ τείχη καὶ τοὺς οἴκους σου τοὺς ἐπιθυμητοὺς καθελεῖ καὶ τοὺς λίθους σου καὶ τὰ ξύλα σου καὶ τὸν χοῦν σου εἰς μέσον τῆς θαλάσσης ἐμβαλεῖ
Eze 26:13 And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard. Eze 26:13 So I will silence the sound of your songs, and the sound of your harps will be heard no more. Eze|26|13|καὶ καταλύσει τὸ πλῆθος τῶν μουσικῶν σου καὶ ἡ φωνὴ τῶν ψαλτηρίων σου οὐ μὴ ἀκουσθῇ ἔτι
Eze 26:14 And I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD. Eze 26:14 I will make you a bare rock; you will be a place for the spreading of nets. You will be built no more, for I the Lord have spoken," declares the Lord God. Eze|26|14|καὶ δώσω σε εἰς λεωπετρίαν ψυγμὸς σαγηνῶν ἔσῃ οὐ μὴ οἰκοδομηθῇς ἔτι ὅτι ἐγὼ ἐλάλησα λέγει κύριος
Eze 26:15 Thus saith the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee? Eze 26:15 Thus says the Lord God to Tyre," Shall not the coastlands shake at the sound of your fall when the wounded groan, when the slaughter occurs in your midst? Eze|26|15|διότι τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος τῇ Σορ οὐκ ἀπὸ φωνῆς τῆς πτώσεώς σου ἐν τῷ στενάξαι τραυματίας ἐν τῷ σπάσαι μάχαιραν ἐν μέσῳ σου σεισθήσονται αἱ νῆσοι
Eze 26:16 Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished at thee. Eze 26:16 Then all the princes of the sea will go down from their thrones, remove their robes and strip off their embroidered garments. They will clothe themselves with trembling; they will sit on the ground, tremble every moment and be appalled at you. Eze|26|16|καὶ καταβήσονται ἀπὸ τῶν θρόνων αὐτῶν πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες ἐκ τῶν ἐθνῶν τῆς θαλάσσης καὶ ἀφελοῦνται τὰς μίτρας ἀπὸ τῶν κεφαλῶν αὐτῶν καὶ τὸν ἱματισμὸν τὸν ποικίλον αὐτῶν ἐκδύσονται ἐκστάσει ἐκστήσονται ἐπὶ γῆν καθεδοῦνται καὶ φοβηθήσονται τὴν ἀπώλειαν αὐτῶν καὶ στενάξουσιν ἐπὶ σέ
Eze 26:17 And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it! Eze 26:17 They will take up a lamentation over you and say to you, 'How you have perished, O inhabited one, From the seas, O renowned city, Which was mighty on the sea, She and her inhabitants, Who imposed her terror On all her inhabitants! Eze|26|17|καὶ λήμψονται ἐπὶ σὲ θρῆνον καὶ ἐροῦσίν σοι πῶς κατελύθης ἐκ θαλάσσης ἡ πόλις ἡ ἐπαινεστὴ ἡ δοῦσα τὸν φόβον αὐτῆς πᾶσι τοῖς κατοικοῦσιν αὐτήν
Eze 26:18 Now shall the isles tremble in the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled at thy departure. Eze 26:18 'Now the coastlands will tremble On the day of your fall; Yes, the coastlands which are by the sea Will be terrified at your passing. '" Eze|26|18|καὶ φοβηθήσονται αἱ νῆσοι ἀφ᾽ ἡμέρας πτώσεώς σου
Eze 26:19 For thus saith the Lord GOD; When I shall make thee a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon thee, and great waters shall cover thee; Eze 26:19 For thus says the Lord God," When I make you a desolate city, like the cities which are not inhabited, when I bring up the deep over you and the great waters cover you, Eze|26|19|ὅτι τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ὅταν δῶ σε πόλιν ἠρημωμένην ὡς τὰς πόλεις τὰς μὴ κατοικηθησομένας ἐν τῷ ἀναγαγεῖν με ἐπὶ σὲ τὴν ἄβυσσον καὶ κατακαλύψῃ σε ὕδωρ πολύ
Eze 26:20 When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living; Eze 26:20 then I will bring you down with those who go down to the pit, to the people of old, and I will make you dwell in the lower parts of the earth, like the ancient waste places, with those who go down to the pit, so that you will not be inhabited; but I will set glory in the land of the living. Eze|26|20|καὶ καταβιβάσω σε πρὸς τοὺς καταβαίνοντας εἰς βόθρον πρὸς λαὸν αἰῶνος καὶ κατοικιῶ σε εἰς βάθη τῆς γῆς ὡς ἔρημον αἰώνιον μετὰ καταβαινόντων εἰς βόθρον ὅπως μὴ κατοικηθῇς μηδὲ ἀνασταθῇς ἐπὶ γῆς ζωῆς
Eze 26:21 I will make thee a terror, and thou shalt be no more: though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou never be found again, saith the Lord GOD. Eze 26:21 I will bring terrors on you and you will be no more; though you will be sought, you will never be found again," declares the Lord God. Eze 27:3 And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I am of perfect beauty. Eze 27:3 and say to Tyre, who dwells at the entrance to the sea, merchant of the peoples to many coastlands, 'Thus says the Lord God," O Tyre, you have said, 'I am perfect in beauty. Eze 27:6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim. Eze 27:7 Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee. Eze 27:8 The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise men, O Tyrus, that were in thee, were thy pilots. Eze 27:9 The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise. Eze 27:9 "The elders of Gebal and her wise men were with you repairing your seams; All the ships of the sea and their sailors were with you in order to deal in your merchandise. Eze 27:11 The men of Arvad with thine army were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect. Eze 27:11 The sons of Arvad and your army were on your walls, all around, and the Gammadim were in your towers. They hung their shields on your walls all around; they perfected your beauty. Eze 27:12 Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs. Eze 27:12 "Tarshish was your customer because of the abundance of all kinds of wealth; with silver, iron, tin and lead they paid for your wares. Eze 27:13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market. Eze 27:17 Judah, and the land of Israel, they were thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm. Eze 27:18 Damascus was thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool. Eze 27:21 Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they thy merchants. Eze 27:24 These were thy merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.
