Rom 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name: (kjv) Rom 1:5 through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith among all the Gentiles for His name's sake, Rom|1|5|δι᾽ οὖ ἐλάβομεν χάριν καὶ ἀποστολὴν εἰς ὑπακοὴν πίστεως ἐν πᾶσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν ὑπὲρ τοῦ ὀνόματος αὐτοῦ,
Rom 1:6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ: (kjv) Rom 1:6 among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ; Rom|1|6|ἐν οἷς ἐστε καὶ ὑμεῖς κλητοὶ ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ,

Rom 1:8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. (kjv) Rom 1:8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world. Rom 1:9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers; (kjv) Rom 1:9 For God, whom I serve in my spirit in the preaching of the gospel of His Son, is my witness as to how unceasingly I make mention of you, Rom|1|9|μάρτυς γάρ μού ἐστιν ὁ θεός, ᾧ λατρεύω ἐν τῶ πνεύματί μου ἐν τῶ εὐαγγελίῳ τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ, ὡς ἀδιαλείπτως μνείαν ὑμῶν ποιοῦμαι
Rom 1:10 Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you. (kjv) Rom 1:10 always in my prayers making request, if perhaps now at last by the will of God I may succeed in coming to you.
Rom 1:11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established; (kjv) Rom 1:11 For I long to see you so that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established; Rom|1|11|ἐπιποθῶ γὰρ ἰδεῖν ὑμᾶς, ἵνα τι μεταδῶ χάρισμα ὑμῖν πνευματικὸν εἰς τὸ στηριχθῆναι ὑμᾶς,
Rom 1:12 That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me. (kjv) Rom 1:12 that is, that I may be encouraged together with you while among you, each of us by the other's faith, both yours and mine.
Rom 1:13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles. (kjv) Rom 1:13 I do not want you to be unaware, brethren, that often I have planned to come to you (and have been prevented so far) so that I may obtain some fruit among you also, even as among the rest of the Gentiles.
Rom 1:14 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. (kjv) Rom 1:14 I am under obligation both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the foolish.
Rom 1:15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also. (kjv) Rom 1:15 So, for my part, I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome.
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (kjv) Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. (kjv) Rom 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written," But the righteous man shall live by faith."
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; (kjv) Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, Rom|1|18|ἀποκαλύπτεται γὰρ ὀργὴ θεοῦ ἀπ᾽ οὐρανοῦ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν ἀσέβειαν καὶ ἀδικίαν ἀνθρώπων τῶν τὴν ἀλήθειαν ἐν ἀδικίᾳ κατεχόντων,
Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. (kjv) Rom 1:19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them.
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (kjv) Rom 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (kjv) Rom 1:21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, (kjv) Rom 1:22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, Rom|1|22|φάσκοντες εἶναι σοφοὶ ἐμωράνθησαν,
Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. (kjv) Rom 1:23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.
Rom 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: (kjv) Rom 1:24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that their bodies would be dishonored among them.
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. (kjv) Rom 1:25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: (kjv) Rom 1:26 For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, Rom|1|26|διὰ τοῦτο παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς ὁ θεὸς εἰς πάθη ἀτιμίας· αἵ τε γὰρ θήλειαι αὐτῶν μετήλλαξαν τὴν φυσικὴν χρῆσιν εἰς τὴν παρὰ φύσιν,
Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. (kjv) Rom 1:27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (kjv) Rom 1:28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, Rom|1|28|καὶ καθὼς οὐκ ἐδοκίμασαν τὸν θεὸν ἔχειν ἐν ἐπιγνώσει, παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς ὁ θεὸς εἰς ἀδόκιμον νοῦν, ποιεῖν τὰ μὴ καθήκοντα,
Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, (kjv) Rom 1:29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, Rom|1|29|πεπληρωμένους πάσῃ ἀδικίᾳ πονηρίᾳ πλεονεξίᾳ κακίᾳ, μεστοὺς φθόνου φόνου ἔριδος δόλου κακοηθείας, ψιθυριστάς,
Rom 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, (kjv) Rom 1:30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, Rom|1|30|καταλάλους, θεοστυγεῖς, ὑβριστάς, ὑπερηφάνους, ἀλαζόνας, ἐφευρετὰς κακῶν, γονεῦσιν ἀπειθεῖς,
Rom 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: (kjv) Rom 1:31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; Rom|1|31|ἀσυνέτους, ἀσυνθέτους, ἀστόργους, ἀνελεήμονας·
Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.(kjv) Rom 1:32 and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.
Rom 2:1 Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things. (kjv) Rom 2:1 Therefore you have no excuse, everyone of you who passes judgment, for in that which you judge another, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.
Rom 2:2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things. (kjv) Rom 2:2 And we know that the judgment of God rightly falls upon those who practice such things.
Rom 2:3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? (kjv) Rom 2:3 But do you suppose this, O man, when you pass judgment on those who practice such things and do the same yourself, that you will escape the judgment of God? Rom|2|3|λογίζῃ δὲ τοῦτο, ὦ ἄνθρωπε ὁ κρίνων τοὺς τὰ τοιαῦτα πράσσοντας καὶ ποιῶν αὐτά, ὅτι σὺ ἐκφεύξῃ τὸ κρίμα τοῦ θεοῦ;
Rom 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? (kjv) Rom 2:4 Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance? Rom|2|4|ἢ τοῦ πλούτου τῆς χρηστότητος αὐτοῦ καὶ τῆς ἀνοχῆς καὶ τῆς μακροθυμίας καταφρονεῖς, ἀγνοῶν ὅτι τὸ χρηστὸν τοῦ θεοῦ εἰς μετάνοιάν σε ἄγει;
Rom 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; (kjv) Rom 2:5 But because of your stubbornness and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, Rom|2|5|κατὰ δὲ τὴν σκληρότητά σου καὶ ἀμετανόητον καρδίαν θησαυρίζεις σεαυτῶ ὀργὴν ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ὀργῆς καὶ ἀποκαλύψεως δικαιοκρισίας τοῦ θεοῦ,
Rom 2:6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds: (kjv) Rom 2:6 who will render to each person according to his deeds: Rom|2|6|ὃς ἀποδώσει ἑκάστῳ κατὰ τὰ ἔργα αὐτοῦ,
Rom 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: (kjv) Rom 2:7 to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life; Rom|2|7|τοῖς μὲν καθ᾽ ὑπομονὴν ἔργου ἀγαθοῦ δόξαν καὶ τιμὴν καὶ ἀφθαρσίαν ζητοῦσιν, ζωὴν αἰώνιον·
Rom 2:8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, (kjv) Rom 2:8 but to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation.
Rom 2:9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; (kjv) Rom 2:9 There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, Rom|2|9|θλῖψις καὶ στενοχωρία ἐπὶ πᾶσαν ψυχὴν ἀνθρώπου τοῦ κατεργαζομένου τὸ κακόν, ἰουδαίου τε πρῶτον καὶ ἕλληνος·
Rom 2:10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: (kjv) Rom 2:10 but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
Rom 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God. (kjv) Rom 2:11 For there is no partiality with God.
Rom 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law; (kjv) Rom 2:12 For all who have sinned without the Law will also perish without the Law, and all who have sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law; Rom|2|12|ὅσοι γὰρ ἀνόμως ἥμαρτον, ἀνόμως καὶ ἀπολοῦνται· καὶ ὅσοι ἐν νόμῳ ἥμαρτον, διὰ νόμου κριθήσονται·
Rom 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. (kjv) Rom 2:13 for it is not the hearers of the Law who are just before God, but the doers of the Law will be justified.
Rom 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: (kjv) Rom 2:14 For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, Rom|2|14|ὅταν γὰρ ἔθνη τὰ μὴ νόμον ἔχοντα φύσει τὰ τοῦ νόμου ποιῶσιν, οὖτοι νόμον μὴ ἔχοντες ἑαυτοῖς εἰσιν νόμος·
Rom 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;) (kjv) Rom 2:15 in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, Rom|2|15|οἵτινες ἐνδείκνυνται τὸ ἔργον τοῦ νόμου γραπτὸν ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις αὐτῶν, συμμαρτυρούσης αὐτῶν τῆς συνειδήσεως καὶ μεταξὺ ἀλλήλων τῶν λογισμῶν κατηγορούντων ἢ καὶ ἀπολογουμένων,
Rom 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. (kjv) Rom 2:16 on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus.
Rom 2:17 Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast of God, (kjv) Rom 2:17 But if you bear the name" Jew" and rely upon the Law and boast in God, Rom|2|17|εἰ δὲ σὺ ἰουδαῖος ἐπονομάζῃ καὶ ἐπαναπαύῃ νόμῳ καὶ καυχᾶσαι ἐν θεῶ
Rom 2:18 And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent, being instructed out of the law; (kjv) Rom 2:18 and know His will and approve the things that are essential, being instructed out of the Law, Rom|2|18|καὶ γινώσκεις τὸ θέλημα καὶ δοκιμάζεις τὰ διαφέροντα κατηχούμενος ἐκ τοῦ νόμου,
Rom 2:19 And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them which are in darkness, (kjv) Rom 2:19 and are confident that you yourself are a guide to the blind, a light to those who are in darkness, Rom|2|19|πέποιθάς τε σεαυτὸν ὁδηγὸν εἶναι τυφλῶν, φῶς τῶν ἐν σκότει,
Rom 2:20 An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of knowledge and of the truth in the law. (kjv) Rom 2:20 a corrector of the foolish, a teacher of the immature, having in the Law the embodiment of knowledge and of the truth, Rom|2|20|παιδευτὴν ἀφρόνων, διδάσκαλον νηπίων, ἔχοντα τὴν μόρφωσιν τῆς γνώσεως καὶ τῆς ἀληθείας ἐν τῶ νόμῳ _
Rom 2:21 Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? (kjv) Rom 2:21 you, therefore, who teach another, do you not teach yourself? You who preach that one shall not steal, do you steal? Rom|2|21|ὁ οὗν διδάσκων ἕτερον σεαυτὸν οὐ διδάσκεις; ὁ κηρύσσων μὴ κλέπτειν κλέπτεις;
Rom 2:22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? (kjv) Rom 2:22 You who say that one should not commit adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples? Rom|2|22|ὁ λέγων μὴ μοιχεύειν μοιχεύεις; ὁ βδελυσσόμενος τὰ εἴδωλα ἱεροσυλεῖς;
Rom 2:23 Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God? (kjv) Rom 2:23 You who boast in the Law, through your breaking the Law, do you dishonor God? Rom|2|23|ὃς ἐν νόμῳ καυχᾶσαι, διὰ τῆς παραβάσεως τοῦ νόμου τὸν θεὸν ἀτιμάζεις;
Rom 2:24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written. (kjv) Rom 2:24 For"the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you," just as it is written.
Rom 2:25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision. (kjv) Rom 2:25 For indeed circumcision is of value if you practice the Law; but if you are a transgressor of the Law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.
Rom 2:26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision? (kjv) Rom 2:26 So if the uncircumcised man keeps the requirements of the Law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded as circumcision? Rom|2|26|ἐὰν οὗν ἡ ἀκροβυστία τὰ δικαιώματα τοῦ νόμου φυλάσσῃ, οὐχ ἡ ἀκροβυστία αὐτοῦ εἰς περιτομὴν λογισθήσεται;
Rom 2:27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law? (kjv) Rom 2:27 And he who is physically uncircumcised, if he keeps the Law, will he not judge you who though having the letter of the Law and circumcision are a transgressor of the Law?
Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: (kjv) Rom 2:28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh.
Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.(kjv) Rom 2:29 But he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the letter; and his praise is not from men, but from God.
Rom 3:1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? (kjv) Rom 3:1 Then what advantage has the Jew? Or what is the benefit of circumcision? Rom|3|1|τί οὗν τὸ περισσὸν τοῦ ἰουδαίου, ἢ τίς ἡ ὠφέλεια τῆς περιτομῆς;
Rom 3:2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. (kjv) Rom 3:2 Great in every respect. First of all, that they were entrusted with the oracles of God.
Rom 3:3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? (kjv) Rom 3:3 What then? If some did not believe, their unbelief will not nullify the faithfulness of God, will it? Rom|3|3|τί γὰρ εἰ ἠπίστησάν τινες; μὴ ἡ ἀπιστία αὐτῶν τὴν πίστιν τοῦ θεοῦ καταργήσει;
Rom 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. (kjv) Rom 3:4 May it never be! Rather, let God be found true, though every man be found a liar, as it is written," That You may be justified in Your words, And prevail when You are judged."
Rom 3:5 But if our unrighteousness commend the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who taketh vengeance? (I speak as a man) (kjv) Rom 3:5 But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? The God who inflicts wrath is not unrighteous, is He? ( I am speaking in human terms.
Rom 3:6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world? (kjv) Rom 3:6 May it never be! For otherwise, how will God judge the world? Rom|3|6|μὴ γένοιτο· ἐπεὶ πῶς κρινεῖ ὁ θεὸς τὸν κόσμον;
Rom 3:7 For if the truth of God hath more abounded through my lie unto his glory; why yet am I also judged as a sinner? (kjv) Rom 3:7 But if through my lie the truth of God abounded to His glory, why am I also still being judged as a sinner? Rom|3|7|εἰ δὲ ἡ ἀλήθεια τοῦ θεοῦ ἐν τῶ ἐμῶ ψεύσματι ἐπερίσσευσεν εἰς τὴν δόξαν αὐτοῦ, τί ἔτι κἀγὼ ὡς ἁμαρτωλὸς κρίνομαι;
Rom 3:8 And not rather, (as we be slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say,) Let us do evil, that good may come? whose damnation is just. (kjv) Rom 3:8 And why not say (as we are slanderously reported and as some claim that we say)," Let us do evil that good may come"? Their condemnation is just.
Rom 3:9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; (kjv) Rom 3:9 What then? Are we better than they? Not at all; for we have already charged that both Jews and Greeks are all under sin; Rom|3|9|τί οὗν;
Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: (kjv) Rom 3:10 as it is written," There is none righteous, not even one; Rom|3|10|καθὼς γέγραπται ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν δίκαιος οὐδὲ εἷς,
Rom 3:11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. (kjv) Rom 3:11 There is none who understands, There is none who seeks for God; Rom|3|11|οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ συνίων, οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ ἐκζητῶν τὸν θεόν.
Rom 3:12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. (kjv) Rom 3:12 All have turned aside, together they have become useless; There is none who does good, There is not even one." Rom|3|12|πάντες ἐξέκλιναν, ἅμα ἠχρεώθησαν· οὐκ ἔστιν ὁ ποιῶν χρηστότητα, [οὐκ ἔστιν] ἕως ἑνός.
Rom 3:13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: (kjv) Rom 3:13 "Their throat is an open grave, With their tongues they keep deceiving,"" The poison of asps is under their lips"; Rom|3|13|τάφος ἀνεῳγμένος ὁ λάρυγξ αὐτῶν, ταῖς γλώσσαις αὐτῶν ἐδολιοῦσαν, ἰὸς ἀσπίδων ὑπὸ τὰ χείλη αὐτῶν,
Rom 3:14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: (kjv) Rom 3:14 "Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness"; Rom|3|14|ὧν τὸ στόμα ἀρᾶς καὶ πικρίας γέμει·
Rom 3:15 Their feet are swift to shed blood: (kjv) Rom 3:15 "Their feet are swift to shed blood, Rom|3|15|ὀξεῖς οἱ πόδες αὐτῶν ἐκχέαι αἷμα,
Rom 3:16 Destruction and misery are in their ways: (kjv) Rom 3:16 Destruction and misery are in their paths, Rom|3|16|σύντριμμα καὶ ταλαιπωρία ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτῶν,
Rom 3:17 And the way of peace have they not known: (kjv) Rom 3:17 And the path of peace they have not known." Rom|3|17|καὶ ὁδὸν εἰρήνης οὐκ ἔγνωσαν.
Rom 3:18 There is no fear of God before their eyes. (kjv) Rom 3:18 "There is no fear of God before their eyes."
Rom 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. (kjv) Rom 3:19 Now we know that whatever the Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God; Rom|3|19|οἴδαμεν δὲ ὅτι ὅσα ὁ νόμος λέγει τοῖς ἐν τῶ νόμῳ λαλεῖ, ἵνα πᾶν στόμα φραγῇ καὶ ὑπόδικος γένηται πᾶς ὁ κόσμος τῶ θεῶ·
Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. (kjv) Rom 3:20 because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin.
Rom 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; (kjv) Rom 3:21 But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, Rom|3|21|νυνὶ δὲ χωρὶς νόμου δικαιοσύνη θεοῦ πεφανέρωται, μαρτυρουμένη ὑπὸ τοῦ νόμου καὶ τῶν προφητῶν,
Rom 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: (kjv) Rom 3:22 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction; Rom|3|22|δικαιοσύνη δὲ θεοῦ διὰ πίστεως ἰησοῦ χριστοῦ, εἰς πάντας τοὺς πιστεύοντας· οὐ γάρ ἐστιν διαστολή·
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; (kjv) Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Rom|3|23|πάντες γὰρ ἥμαρτον καὶ ὑστεροῦνται τῆς δόξης τοῦ θεοῦ,
Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: (kjv) Rom 3:24 being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; Rom|3|24|δικαιούμενοι δωρεὰν τῇ αὐτοῦ χάριτι διὰ τῆς ἀπολυτρώσεως τῆς ἐν χριστῶ ἰησοῦ·
Rom 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; (kjv) Rom 3:25 whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; Rom|3|25|ὃν προέθετο ὁ θεὸς ἱλαστήριον διὰ [τῆς] πίστεως ἐν τῶ αὐτοῦ αἵματι εἰς ἔνδειξιν τῆς δικαιοσύνης αὐτοῦ διὰ τὴν πάρεσιν τῶν προγεγονότων ἁμαρτημάτων
Rom 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. (kjv) Rom 3:26 for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.
Rom 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. (kjv) Rom 3:27 Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith.
Rom 3:28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. (kjv) Rom 3:28 For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.
Rom 3:29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: (kjv) Rom 3:29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is He not the God of Gentiles also? Yes, of Gentiles also, Rom|3|29|ἢ ἰουδαίων ὁ θεὸς μόνον; οὐχὶ καὶ ἐθνῶν; ναὶ καὶ ἐθνῶν,
Rom 3:30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. (kjv) Rom 3:30 since indeed God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith is one.
Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.(kjv) Rom 3:31 Do we then nullify the Law through faith? May it never be! On the contrary, we establish the Law.
