2003 Jetta GLS Wagon TDI 1.9L TDI, 5 speed manual everything works and is in excellent mechanical condition new windshield last year new Arizonian Silver Edition tires in July - excellent wet and dry traction new front brakes, rotors turned intake manifold and egr system cleaned 134,500 miles new injection pump - 137,500 miles injection pump from Automatic - 11mm vs 10mm ~20% more power (didn't plan on this upgrade, but love it) new injectors and glow plugs glow plug harness replaced last year new timing belt and water pump - at 137,500 miles - professionally installed 151,000 miles - shouldn't need any until 222,000 miles (other than oil changes) new oil pan and PANZER skid plate - full frontal protection of transmission and engine, can lift car with the plate. worst mileage 38 mpg - best mileage 52 mpg - typical around town mileage has been right around 40 mpg. heated black leather seats with lumbar support A/C, power locks, power windows Monsoon am/fm/cassette/cd stereo with controls on wheel (cassette part doesn't work) cruise control switches on steering wheel factory moonroof with sun shade, tips up and slides back trailer hitch (never used to tow, only for bike rack and rear carrier) - (insert not included) drove it to Chicago and back in May - averaged 45 mpg at freeway speeds. Excellent interstate cruiser, no want for power. has no mechanical issues - runs great - easily passes emissions - tabs good until May 2012. 100% Amsoil synthetics used in engine, transmission. new cabin air filter installed Air Lift rear air bags for any loads, improves the ride - was bouncy on shifts before... Silver star headlight bulbs - improved lighting factory sunglass holder over driver's head will close all windows and sunroof with key turned in driver's door - nice convenience feature. factory alarm German built REBUILT title, was side swiped, doors replaced, rear fender and lower rocker still dented, 2 estimates both around $2k the damage was limited to the doors, rear fender/bumper and rocker panel, floor pan not damaged - drives perfectly straight, no tire wear priced below market because of damage - everything works have had it over a year, selling because we bought another Jetta with Automatic transmission please email your phone number and best time to call - will respond quickly to emails Local sales, please, don't make an offer until you drive it. This has been a great little car for us, but the manual transmission has been a problem for me because of an army injury... put up with it for a year because it's such a great car... finally found a nice sedan with an automatic... however, the automatics have issues, and we're having issues with the automatic trans... the 5 speed in this Wagon is the way to go if you can drive a stick... better mileage, more power and control and less headaches...
