Re: Jetta trans issues Posted by: "Bachman, Robert" RBachman@Harris.com Tue Dec 20, 2011 12:34 pm (PST) You may have a TCC (Torque Converter Clutch) circuit that is misbehaving within the 01M valve body. The TCC spool and sleeve do wear quickly and can cause shutter and slipping in lock up mode. Many times you can have the valve body rebuilt and oversize precision parts from Sonnax installed To correct this hydraulic circuit problem. I specialize in the 01M VW automatic as a side business and have the special reamers and equipment To check and repair these valve bodies. In fact I drive a 2002 Jetta TDI that I performed these and other modifications to more than 30k miles Ago. It now has more than 143,000 miles on it and is my daily driver. Rob
