(Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:1 ولما قربت ايام وفاة داود اوصى سليمان ابنه قائلا -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:1 As David's time to die drew near, he charged Solomon his son, saying,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:2---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:2 انا ذاهب في طريق الارض كلها. فتشدد وكن رجلا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:2 "I am going the way of all the earth. Be strong, therefore, and show yourself a man.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:3---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:3 احفظ شعائر الرب الهك اذ تسير في طرقه وتحفظ فرائضه وصاياه واحكامه وشهاداته كما هو مكتوب في شريعة موسى لكي تفلح في كل ما تفعل وحيثما توجهت. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:3 Keep the charge of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His ordinances, and His testimonies, according to what is written in the Law of Moses, that you may succeed in all that you do and wherever you turn,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:4---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:4 لكي يقيم الرب كلامه الذي تكلم به عني قائلا اذا حفظ بنوك طريقهم وسلكوا امامي بالامانة من كل قلوبهم وكل انفسهم قال لا يعدم لك رجل عن كرسي اسرائيل. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:4 so that the Lord may carry out His promise which He spoke concerning me, saying, 'If your sons are careful of their way, to walk before Me in truth with all their heart and with all their soul, you shall not lack a man on the throne of Israel.'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:5---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:5 وانت ايضا تعلم ما فعل بي يوآب ابن صروية ما فعل لرئيسي جيوش اسرائيل ابنير بن نير وعماسا بن يثر اذ قتلهما وسفك دم الحرب في الصلح وجعل دم الحرب في منطقته التي على حقويه وفي نعليه اللتين برجليه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:5 "Now you also know what Joab the son of Zeruiah did to me, what he did to the two commanders of the armies of Israel, to Abner the son of Ner, and to Amasa the son of Jether, whom he killed; he also shed the blood of war in peace. And he put the blood of war on his belt about his waist, and on his sandals on his feet.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:6---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:6 فافعل حسب حكمتك ولا تدع شيبته تنحدر بسلام الى الهاوية. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:6 So act according to your wisdom, and do not let his gray hair go down to Sheol in peace.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:7---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:7 وافعل معروفا لبني برزلاي الجلعادي فيكونوا بين الآكلين على مائدتك لانهم هكذا تقدموا اليّ عند هربي من وجه ابشالوم اخيك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:7 But show kindness to the sons of Barzillai the Gileadite, and let them be among those who eat at your table; for they assisted me when I fled from Absalom your brother.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:8---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:8 وهوذا معك شمعي بن جيرا البنياميني من بحوريم. وهو لعنني لعنة شديدة يوم انطلقت الى محنايم وقد نزل للقائي الى الاردن فحلفت له بالرب قائلا اني لا اميتك بالسيف. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:8 Behold, there is with you Shimei the son of Gera the Benjamite, of Bahurim; now it was he who cursed me with a violent curse on the day I went to Mahanaim. But when he came down to me at the Jordan, I swore to him by the Lord, saying, 'I will not put you to death with the sword.'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:9---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:9 والآن فلا تبرره لانك انت رجل حكيم فاعلم ما تفعل به واحدر شيبته بالدم الى الهاوية. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:9 Now therefore, do not let him go unpunished, for you are a wise man; and you will know what you ought to do to him, and you will bring his gray hair down to Sheol with blood."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:10---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:10 واضطجع داود مع آبائه ودفن في مدينة داود. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:10 Then David slept with his fathers and was buried in the city of David.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:11---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:11 وكان الزمان الذي ملك فيه داود على اسرائيل اربعين سنة. في حبرون ملك سبع سنين وفي اورشليم ملك ثلاثا وثلاثين سنة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:11 The days that David reigned over Israel were forty years: seven years he reigned in Hebron and thirty-three years he reigned in Jerusalem.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:12---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:12 وجلس سليمان على كرسي داود ابيه وتثبّت ملكه جدا -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:12 And Solomon sat on the throne of David his father, and his kingdom was firmly established.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:13---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:13 ثم جاء ادونيا بن حجيث الى بثشبع ام سليمان. فقالت أللسلام جئت. فقال للسلام. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:13 Now Adonijah the son of Haggith came to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon. And she said, "Do you come peacefully?" And he said, "Peacefully."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:14---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:14 ثم قال. لي معك كلمة. فقالت تكلم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:14 Then he said, "I have something to say to you." And she said, "Speak."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:15---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:15 فقال انت تعلمين ان الملك كان لي وقد جعل جميع اسرائيل وجوههم نحوي لاملك فدار الملك وصار لاخي لانه من قبل الرب صار له. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:15 So he said, "You know that the kingdom was mine and that all Israel expected me to be king; however, the kingdom has turned about and become my brother's, for it was his from the Lord.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:16---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:16 والآن اسألك سوالا واحدا فلا ترديني فيه. فقالت له تكلم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:16 Now I am making one request of you; do not refuse me." And she said to him, "Speak."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:17---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:17 فقال قولي لسليمان الملك لانه لا يردك ان يعطيني ابيشج الشونمية امرأة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:17 Then he said, "Please speak to Solomon the king, for he will not refuse you, that he may give me Abishag the Shunammite as a wife."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:18---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:18 فقالت بثشبع حسنا. انا اتكلم عنك الى الملك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:18 Bathsheba said, "Very well; I will speak to the king for you."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:19---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:19 فدخلت بثشبع الى الملك سليمان لتكلمه عن ادونيا. فقام الملك للقائها وسجد لها وجلس على كرسيه ووضع كرسيا لام الملك فجلست عن يمينه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:19 So Bathsheba went to King Solomon to speak to him for Adonijah. And the king arose to meet her, bowed before her, and sat on his throne; then he had a throne set for the king's mother, and she sat on his right.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:20---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:20 وقالت انما اسألك سوالا واحدا صغيرا. لا تردني. فقال لها الملك اسألي يا امي لاني لا اردك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:20 Then she said, "I am making one small request of you; do not refuse me." And the king said to her, "Ask, my mother, for I will not refuse you."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:21---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:21 فقالت لتعط ابيشج الشونمية لادونيا اخيك امرأة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:21 So she said, "Let Abishag the Shunammite be given to Adonijah your brother as a wife."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:22---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:22 فاجاب الملك سليمان وقال لامه ولماذا انت تسألين ابيشج الشونمية لادونيا. فاسألي له الملك. لانه اخي الاكبر مني. له ولابياثار الكاهن وليوآب ابن صروية -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:22 King Solomon answered and said to his mother, "And why are you asking Abishag the Shunammite for Adonijah? Ask for him also the kingdom--for he is my older brother--even for him, for Abiathar the priest, and for Joab the son of Zeruiah!"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:23---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:23 وحلف سليمان الملك بالرب قائلا هكذا يفعل لي الله وهكذا يزيد انه قد تكلم ادونيا بهذا الكلام ضد نفسه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:23 Then King Solomon swore by the Lord, saying, "May God do so to me and more also, if Adonijah has not spoken this word against his own life.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:24---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:24 والآن حيّ هو الرب الذي ثبتني واجلسني على كرسي داود ابي والذي صنع لي بيتا كما تكلم انه اليوم يقتل ادونيا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:24 Now therefore, as the Lord lives, who has established me and set me on the throne of David my father and who has made me a house as He promised, surely Adonijah shall be put to death today."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:25---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:25 فارسل الملك سليمان بيد بناياهو بن يهوياداع فبطش به فمات. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:25 So King Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he fell upon him so that he died.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:26---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:26 وقال الملك لابياثار الكاهن اذهب الى عناثوث الى حقولك لانك مستوجب الموت ولست اقتلك في هذا اليوم لانك حملت تابوت سيدي الرب امام داود ابي ولانك تذللت بكل ما تذلل به ابي. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:26 Then to Abiathar the priest the king said, "Go to Anathoth to your own field, for you deserve to die; but I will not put you to death at this time, because you carried the ark of the Lord God before my father David, and because you were afflicted in everything with which my father was afflicted."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:27---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:27 وطرد سليمان ابياثار عن ان يكون كاهنا للرب لاتمام كلام الرب الذي تكلم به على بيت عالي في شيلوه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:27 So Solomon dismissed Abiathar from being priest to the Lord, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord, which He had spoken concerning the house of Eli in Shiloh.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:28---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:28 فأتى الخبر الى يوآب. لان يوآب مال وراء ادونيا ولم يمل وراء ابشالوم. فهرب يوآب الى خيمة الرب وتمسك بقرون المذبح. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:28 Now the news came to Joab, for Joab had followed Adonijah, although he had not followed Absalom. And Joab fled to the tent of the Lord and took hold of the horns of the altar.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:29---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:29 فأخبر الملك سليمان بان يوآب قد هرب الى خيمة الرب وها هو بجانب المذبح. فارسل سليمان بناياهو بن يهوياداع قائلا اذهب ابطش به. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:29 It was told King Solomon that Joab had fled to the tent of the Lord, and behold, he is beside the altar. Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying, "Go, fall upon him."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:30---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:30 فدخل بناياهو الى خيمة الرب وقال له هكذا يقول الملك اخرج. فقال كلا ولكنني هنا اموت. فرد بناياهو الجواب على الملك قائلا هكذا تكلم يوآب وهكذا جاوبني. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:30 So Benaiah came to the tent of the Lord and said to him, "Thus the king has said, 'Come out.'" But he said, "No, for I will die here." And Benaiah brought the king word again, saying, "Thus spoke Joab, and thus he answered me."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:31---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:31 فقال له الملك افعل كما تكلم وابطش به وادفنه وازل عني وعن بيت ابي الدم الزكي الذي سفكه يوآب. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:31 The king said to him, "Do as he has spoken and fall upon him and bury him, that you may remove from me and from my father's house the blood which Joab shed without cause.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:32---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:32 فيرد الرب دمه على راسه لانه بطش برجلين بريئين وخير منه وقتلهما بالسيف وابي داود لا يعلم وهما ابنير بن نير رئيس جيش اسرائيل وعماسا بن يثر رئيس جيش يهوذا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:32 The Lord will return his blood on his own head, because he fell upon two men more righteous and better than he and killed them with the sword, while my father David did not know it: Abner the son of Ner, commander of the army of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, commander of the army of Judah.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:33---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:33 فيرتدّ دمهما على راس يوآب وراس نسله الى الابد ويكون لداود ونسله وبيته وكرسيه سلام الى الابد من عند الرب. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:33 So shall their blood return on the head of Joab and on the head of his descendants forever; but to David and his descendants and his house and his throne, may there be peace from the Lord forever."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:34---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:34 فصعد بناياهو بن يهويادع وبطش به وقتله فدفن في بيته في البرية. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:34 Then Benaiah the son of Jehoiada went up and fell upon him and put him to death, and he was buried at his own house in the wilderness.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:35---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:35 وجعل الملك بناياهو بن يهوياداع مكانه على الجيش وجعل الملك صادوق الكاهن مكان ابياثار -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:35 The king appointed Benaiah the son of Jehoiada over the army in his place, and the king appointed Zadok the priest in the place of Abiathar.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:36---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:36 ثم ارسل الملك ودعا شمعي وقال له. ابن لنفسك بيتا في اورشليم واقم هناك ولا تخرج من هناك الى هنا او هنالك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:36 Now the king sent and called for Shimei and said to him, "Build for yourself a house in Jerusalem and live there, and do not go out from there to any place.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:37---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:37 فيوم تخرج وتعبر وادي قدرون اعلمنّ بانك موتا تموت ويكون دمك على راسك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:37 For on the day you go out and cross over the brook Kidron, you will know for certain that you shall surely die; your blood shall be on your own head."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:38---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:38 فقال شمعي للملك حسن الامر كما تكلم سيدي الملك كذلك يصنع عبدك. فاقام شمعي في اورشليم اياما كثيرة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:38 Shimei then said to the king, "The word is good. As my lord the king has said, so your servant will do." So Shimei lived in Jerusalem many days.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:39---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:39 وفي نهاية ثلاث سنين هرب عبدان لشمعي الى اخيش بن معكة ملك جتّ. فاخبروا شمعي قائلين هوذا عبداك في جتّ. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:39 But it came about at the end of three years, that two of the servants of Shimei ran away to Achish son of Maacah, king of Gath. And they told Shimei, saying, "Behold, your servants are in Gath."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:40---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:40 فقام شمعي وشدّ على حماره وذهب الى جتّ الى اخيش ليفتش على عبديه فانطلق شمعي وأتى بعبديه من جتّ. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:40 Then Shimei arose and saddled his donkey, and went to Gath to Achish to look for his servants. And Shimei went and brought his servants from Gath.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:41---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:41 فأخبر سليمان بان شمعي قد انطلق من اورشليم الى جتّ ورجع. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:41 It was told Solomon that Shimei had gone from Jerusalem to Gath, and had returned.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:42---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:42 فارسل الملك ودعا شمعي وقال له أما استحلفتك بالرب واشهدت عليك قائلا انك يوم تخرج وتذهب الى هنا وهنالك اعلمنّ بانك موتا تموت فقلت لي حسن الأمر. قد سمعت. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:42 So the king sent and called for Shimei and said to him, "Did I not make you swear by the Lord and solemnly warn you, saying, 'You will know for certain that on the day you depart and go anywhere, you shall surely die'? And you said to me, 'The word which I have heard is good.'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:43---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:43 فلماذا لم تحفظ يمين الرب والوصية التي اوصيتك بها. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:43 Why then have you not kept the oath of the Lord, and the command which I have laid on you?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:44---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:44 ثم قال الملك لشمعي انت عرفت كل الشر الذي علمه قلبك الذي فعلته لداود ابي فليرد الرب شرك على راسك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:44 The king also said to Shimei, "You know all the evil which you acknowledge in your heart, which you did to my father David; therefore the Lord shall return your evil on your own head.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:45---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:45 والملك سليمان يبارك وكرسي داود يكون ثابتا امام الرب الى الابد. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:45 But King Solomon shall be blessed, and the throne of David shall be established before the Lord forever."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 Kings 2:46---- (Arabic) ﻭﻷﺍ ﻙﻮﻠﻤﻟﺍ 2:46 وأمر الملك بناياهو بن يهوياداع فخرج وبطش به فمات. وتثبت الملك بيد سليمان -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Ki 2:46 So the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and he went out and fell upon him so that he died.
