Job 31:40 Let briars grow instead of wheat, And stinkweed instead of barley." The words of Job are ended.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 32:1 ---- occurred around 2000-1700 B.C.---- (Hebrew) 1 ׃32 וַֽיִּשְׁבְּת֡וּ שְׁלֹ֤שֶׁת הָאֲנָשִׁ֣ים הָ֭אֵלֶּה מֵעֲנ֣וֹת אֶת־אִיּ֑וֹב כִּ֤י ה֖וּא צַדִּ֣יק בְּעֵינָֽיו׃ פ Job -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 32:1 Then these three men ceased answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 32:2---- (Hebrew) 2 ׃32 וַיִּ֤חַר אַ֨ף ׀ אֱלִיה֣וּא בֶן־בַּרַכְאֵ֣ל הַבּוּזִי֮ מִמִּשְׁפַּ֢חַ֫ת רָ֥ם בְּ֭אִיּוֹב חָרָ֣ה אַפּ֑וֹ עַֽל־צַדְּק֥וֹ נַ֝פְשׁ֗וֹ מֵאֱלֹהִֽים׃ Job -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 32:2 But the anger of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram burned; against Job his anger burned because he justified himself before God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 32:3---- (Hebrew) 3 ׃32 וּבִשְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת רֵעָיו֮ חָרָ֢ה אַ֫פּ֥וֹ עַ֤ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹא־מָצְא֣וּ מַעֲנֶ֑ה וַ֝יַּרְשִׁ֗יעוּ אֶת־אִיּֽוֹב׃ Job -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 32:3 And his anger burned against his three friends because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 32:4---- (Hebrew) 4 ׃32 וֶֽאֱלִיה֗וּ חִכָּ֣ה אֶת־אִ֭יּוֹב בִּדְבָרִ֑ים כִּ֤י זְֽקֵנִים־הֵ֖מָּה מִמֶּ֣נּוּ לְיָמִֽים׃ Job -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 32:4 Now Elihu had waited to speak to Job because they were years older than he.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 32:5---- (Hebrew) 5 ׃32 וַיַּ֤רְא אֱלִיה֗וּא כִּ֘י אֵ֤ין מַעֲנֶ֗ה בְּ֭פִי שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת הָאֲנָשִׁ֗ים וַיִּ֥חַר אַפּֽוֹ׃ פ Job -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 32:5 And when Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of the three men his anger burned.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 32:6---- (Hebrew) 6 ׃32 וַיַּ֤עַן ׀ אֱלִיה֖וּא בֶן־בַּֽרַכְאֵ֥ל הַבּוּזִ֗י וַיֹּ֫אמַֽ[m]ר צָ֘עִ֤יר אֲנִ֣י לְ֭יָמִים וְאַתֶּ֣ם יְשִׁישִׁ֑ים עַל־כֵּ֖ן זָחַ֥לְתִּי וָֽאִירָ֓א ׀ מֵחַוֺּ֖ת דֵּעִ֣י אֶתְכֶֽם׃ Job -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 32:6 So Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite spoke out and said, "I am young in years and you are old;
