(Hebrew) 1 ׃27 לְדָוִ֨ד ׀ יְהוָ֤ה ׀ אוֹרִ֣י וְ֭יִשְׁעִי מִמִּ֣י אִירָ֑א יְהוָ֥ה מָֽעוֹז־חַ֝יַּ֗י מִמִּ֥י אֶפְחָֽד׃ Psalms -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Psa 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the defense of my life; Whom shall I dread?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Psalm 27:2---- (Hebrew) 2 ׃27 בִּקְרֹ֤ב עָלַ֨י ׀ מְרֵעִים֮ לֶאֱכֹ֢ל אֶת־בְּשָׂ֫רִ֥י צָרַ֣י וְאֹיְבַ֣י לִ֑י הֵ֖מָּה כָשְׁל֣וּ וְנָפָֽלוּ׃ Psalms -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Psa 27:2 When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Psalm 27:3---- (Hebrew) 3 ׃27 אִם־תַּחֲנֶ֬ה עָלַ֨י ׀ מַחֲנֶה֮ לֹֽא־יִירָ֢א לִ֫בִּ֥י אִם־תָּק֣וּם עָ֭לַי מִלְחָמָ֑ה בְּ֝זֹ֗את אֲנִ֣י בוֹטֵֽחַ׃ Psalms -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Psa 27:3 Though a host encamp against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arise against me, In spite of this I shall be confident.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Psalm 27:4---- (Hebrew) 4 ׃27 אַחַ֤ת ׀ שָׁאַ֣לְתִּי מֵֽאֵת־יְהוָה֮ אוֹתָ֢הּ אֲבַ֫קֵּ֥שׁ שִׁבְתִּ֣י בְּבֵית־יְ֭הוָה כָּל־יְמֵ֣י חַיַּ֑י לַחֲז֥וֹת בְּנֹֽעַם־יְ֝הוָ֗ה וּלְבַקֵּ֥ר בְּהֵיכָלֽוֹ׃ Psalms -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Psa 27:4 One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord And to meditate in His temple.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Psalm 27:5---- (Hebrew) 5 ׃27 כִּ֤י יִצְפְּנֵ֨נִי ׀ בְּסֻכֹּה֮ בְּי֢וֹם רָ֫עָ֥ה יַ֭סְתִּרֵנִי בְּסֵ֣תֶר אָהֳל֑וֹ בְּ֝צ֗וּר יְרוֹמְמֵֽנִי׃ Psalms -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Psa 27:5 For in the day of trouble He will conceal me in His tabernacle; In the secret place of His tent He will hide me; He will lift me up on a rock.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Psalm 27:6---- (Hebrew) 6 ׃27 וְעַתָּ֨ה יָר֪וּם רֹאשִׁ֡י עַ֤ל אֹֽיְבַ֬י סְֽבִיבוֹתַ֗י וְאֶזְבְּחָ֣ה בְ֭אָהֳלוֹ זִבְחֵ֣י תְרוּעָ֑ה אָשִׁ֥ירָה וַ֝אֲזַמְּרָ֗ה לַיהוָֽה׃ Psalms -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Psa 27:6 And now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, And I will offer in His tent sacrifices with shouts of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Psalm 27:7---- (Hebrew) 7 ׃27 שְׁמַע־יְהוָ֖ה קוֹלִ֥י אֶקְרָ֗א וְחָנֵּ֥נִי וַעֲנֵֽנִי׃ Psalms -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Psa 27:7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice, And be gracious to me and answer me.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Psalm 27:8---- (Hebrew) 8 ׃27 לְךָ֤ ׀ אָמַ֣ר לִ֭בִּי בַּקְּשׁ֣וּ פָנָ֑י אֶת־פָּנֶ֖יךָ יְהוָ֣ה אֲבַקֵּֽשׁ׃ Psalms -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Psa 27:8 When You said, "Seek My face," my heart said to You, "Your face, O Lord, I shall seek."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Psalm 27:9---- (Hebrew) 9 ׃27 אַל־תַּסְתֵּ֬ר פָּנֶ֨יךָ ׀ מִמֶּנִּי֮ אַֽל־תַּט־בְּאַ֗ף עַ֫בְדֶּ֥ךָ עֶזְרָתִ֥י הָיִ֑יתָ אַֽל־תִּטְּשֵׁ֥נִי וְאַל־תַּֽ֝עַזְבֵ֗נִי אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׁעִֽי׃ Psalms -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Psa 27:9 Do not hide Your face from me, Do not turn Your servant away in anger;
