エステル 記 4:1 モルデカイはすべてこのなされたことを知ったとき、その衣を裂き、荒布をまとい、灰をかぶり、町の中へ行って大声をあげ、激しく叫んで、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:1 When Mordecai learned all that had been done, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and ashes, and went out into the midst of the city and wailed loudly and bitterly.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:2---- エステル 記 4:2 王の門の入口まで行った。荒布をまとっては王の門の内にはいることができないからである。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:2 He went as far as the king's gate, for no one was to enter the king's gate clothed in sackcloth.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:3---- エステル 記 4:3 すべて王の命令と詔をうけ取った各州ではユダヤ人のうちに大いなる悲しみがあり、断食、嘆き、叫びが起り、また荒布をまとい、灰の上に座する者が多かった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:3 In each and every province where the command and decree of the king came, there was great mourning among the Jews, with fasting, weeping and wailing; and many lay on sackcloth and ashes.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:4---- エステル 記 4:4 エステルの侍女たちおよび侍従たちがきて、この事を告げたので、王妃は非常に悲しみ、モルデカイに着物を贈り、それを着せて、荒布を脱がせようとしたが受けなかった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:4 Then Esther's maidens and her eunuchs came and told her, and the queen writhed in great anguish. And she sent garments to clothe Mordecai that he might remove his sackcloth from him, but he did not accept them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:5---- エステル 記 4:5 そこでエステルは王の侍従のひとりで、王が自分にはべらせたハタクを召し、モルデカイのもとへ行って、それは何事であるか、何ゆえであるかを尋ねて来るようにと命じた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:5 Then Esther summoned Hathach from the king's eunuchs, whom the king had appointed to attend her, and ordered him to go to Mordecai to learn what this was and why it was.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:6---- エステル 記 4:6 ハタクは出て、王の門の前にある町の広場にいるモルデカイのもとへ行くと、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:6 So Hathach went out to Mordecai to the city square in front of the king's gate.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:7---- エステル 記 4:7 モルデカイは自分の身に起ったすべての事を彼に告げ、かつハマンがユダヤ人を滅ぼすことのために王の金庫に量り入れると約束した銀の正確な額を告げた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:7 Mordecai told him all that had happened to him, and the exact amount of money that Haman had promised to pay to the king's treasuries for the destruction of the Jews.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:8---- エステル 記 4:8 また彼らを滅ぼさせるために、スサで発布された詔書の写しを彼にわたし、それをエステルに見せ、かつ説きあかし、彼女が王のもとへ行ってその民のために王のあわれみを請い、王の前に願い求めるように彼女に言い伝えよと言った。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:8 He also gave him a copy of the text of the edict which had been issued in Susa for their destruction, that he might show Esther and inform her, and to order her to go in to the king to implore his favor and to plead with him for her people.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:9---- エステル 記 4:9 ハタクが帰ってきてモルデカイの言葉をエステルに告げたので、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:9 Hathach came back and related Mordecai's words to Esther.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:10---- エステル 記 4:10 エステルはハタクに命じ、モルデカイに言葉を伝えさせて言った、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:10 Then Esther spoke to Hathach and ordered him to reply to Mordecai:(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:11---- エステル 記 4:11 「王の侍臣および王の諸州の民は皆、男でも女でも、すべて召されないのに内庭にはいって王のもとへ行く者は、必ず殺されなければならないという一つの法律のあることを知っています。ただし王がその者に金の笏を伸べれば生きることができるのです。しかしわたしはこの三十日の間、王のもとへ行くべき召をこうむらないのです」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:11 "All the king's servants and the people of the king's provinces know that for any man or woman who comes to the king to the inner court who is not summoned, he has but one law, that he be put to death, unless the king holds out to him the golden scepter so that he may live. And I have not been summoned to come to the king for these thirty days."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:12---- エステル 記 4:12 エステルの言葉をモルデカイに告げたので、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:12 They related Esther's words to Mordecai.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:13---- エステル 記 4:13 モルデカイは命じてエステルに答えさせて言った、「あなたは王宮にいるゆえ、すべてのユダヤ人と異なり、難を免れるだろうと思ってはならない。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:13 Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther, "Do not imagine that you in the king's palace can escape any more than all the Jews.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:14---- エステル 記 4:14 あなたがもし、このような時に黙っているならば、ほかの所から、助けと救がユダヤ人のために起るでしょう。しかし、あなたとあなたの父の家とは滅びるでしょう。あなたがこの国に迎えられたのは、このような時のためでなかったとだれが知りましょう」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:15---- エステル 記 4:15 そこでエステルは命じてモルデカイに答えさせた、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:15 Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:16---- エステル 記 4:16 「あなたは行ってスサにいるすべてのユダヤ人を集め、わたしのために断食してください。三日のあいだ夜も昼も食い飲みしてはなりません。わたしとわたしの侍女たちも同様に断食しましょう。そしてわたしは法律にそむくことですが王のもとへ行きます。わたしがもし死なねばならないのなら、死にます」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:16 "Go, assemble all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maidens also will fast in the same way.
