Esther 4:1 Luego que supo Mardoqueo todo lo que se había hecho, rasgó sus vestiduras, y se vistió de cilicio y de ceniza, y se fue por medio de la ciudad clamando con grande y amargo clamor.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:1 When Mordecai learned all that had been done, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and ashes, and went out into the midst of the city and wailed loudly and bitterly.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:2---- Esther 4:2 Y vino hasta delante de la puerta del rey; porque no era lícito pasar adentro de la puerta del rey vestido de cilicio.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:2 He went as far as the king's gate, for no one was to enter the king's gate clothed in sackcloth.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:3---- Esther 4:3 Y en cada provincia y lugar donde el mandamiento del rey y su decreto llegaba, [tenían] los judíos gran duelo, y ayuno, y lloro, y lamentación; cilicio y ceniza era la cama de muchos.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:3 In each and every province where the command and decree of the king came, there was great mourning among the Jews, with fasting, weeping and wailing; and many lay on sackcloth and ashes.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:4---- Esther 4:4 Y vinieron las doncellas de Esther y sus eunucos y se lo dijeron; y la reina tuvo gran dolor, y envió vestiduras para hacer vestir a Mardoqueo, y hacerle quitar el cilicio de sobre él; mas él no las recibió.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:4 Then Esther's maidens and her eunuchs came and told her, and the queen writhed in great anguish. And she sent garments to clothe Mordecai that he might remove his sackcloth from him, but he did not accept them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:5---- Esther 4:5 Entonces Esther llamó a Atac, [uno] de los eunucos del rey, a quien él había asignado para atenderla, y lo mandó a Mardoqueo, para saber qué era aquello y por qué.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:5 Then Esther summoned Hathach from the king's eunuchs, whom the king had appointed to attend her, and ordered him to go to Mordecai to learn what this was and why it was.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:6---- Esther 4:6 Salió, pues, Atac a Mardoqueo, a la plaza de la ciudad que [estaba] delante de la puerta del rey.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:6 So Hathach went out to Mordecai to the city square in front of the king's gate.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:7---- Esther 4:7 Y Mardoqueo le declaró todo lo que le había acontecido, y de la suma de la plata que Amán había prometido que pagaría a los tesoros del rey por la destrucción de los judíos.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:7 Mordecai told him all that had happened to him, and the exact amount of money that Haman had promised to pay to the king's treasuries for the destruction of the Jews.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:8---- Esther 4:8 También le dio la copia de la escritura del decreto que había sido dado en Susán para que fuesen destruidos, a fin de que la mostrara a Esther y se lo declarase, y le encargara que fuese al rey a suplicarle, y a pedir delante de él por su pueblo.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:8 He also gave him a copy of the text of the edict which had been issued in Susa for their destruction, that he might show Esther and inform her, and to order her to go in to the king to implore his favor and to plead with him for her people.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:9---- Esther 4:9 Y vino Atac, y contó a Esther las palabras de Mardoqueo.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:9 Hathach came back and related Mordecai's words to Esther.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:10---- Esther 4:10 Entonces Esther habló a Atac, y le mandó decir a Mardoqueo:(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:10 Then Esther spoke to Hathach and ordered him to reply to Mordecai:(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:11---- Esther 4:11 Todos los siervos del rey, y el pueblo de las provincias del rey saben, que cualquier hombre o mujer que entra al rey al patio de adentro sin ser llamado, [hay] una sola ley para él: Debe morir; salvo aquel a quien el rey extendiere el cetro de oro, el cual vivirá; y yo no he sido llamada para entrar al rey estos treinta días.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:11 "All the king's servants and the people of the king's provinces know that for any man or woman who comes to the king to the inner court who is not summoned, he has but one law, that he be put to death, unless the king holds out to him the golden scepter so that he may live. And I have not been summoned to come to the king for these thirty days."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:12---- Esther 4:12 Y dijeron a Mardoqueo las palabras de Esther.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:12 They related Esther's words to Mordecai.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:13---- Esther 4:13 Entonces dijo Mardoqueo que respondiesen a Esther: No pienses en tu alma, que escaparás en la casa del rey más que todos los judíos.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:13 Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther, "Do not imagine that you in the king's palace can escape any more than all the Jews.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:14---- Esther 4:14 Porque si callas absolutamente en este tiempo, respiro y liberación se levantará para los judíos de otro lugar; mas tú y la casa de tu padre pereceréis. ¿Y quién sabe si has llegado al reino, para un tiempo como éste?(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:15---- Esther 4:15 Y Esther dijo que respondiesen a Mardoqueo:(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:15 Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:16---- Esther 4:16 Ve y reune a todos los judíos que se hallan en Susán, y ayunad por mí, y no comáis ni bebáis en tres días, noche y día; yo también con mis doncellas ayunaré igualmente, y así entraré al rey, aunque no sea conforme a la ley; y si perezco, que perezca.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:16 "Go, assemble all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maidens also will fast in the same way.
