Isaías 36:1 Aconteció en el año catorce del rey Ezequías, que Senaquerib rey de Asiria subió contra todas las ciudades fortificadas de Judá, y las tomó.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 36:1 Now in the fourteenth year of King Hezekiah, Sennacherib king of Assyria came up against all the fortified cities of Judah and seized them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 36:2---- Isaías 36:2 Y el rey de Asiria envió al Rabsaces con grande ejército desde Laquis a Jerusalén contra el rey Ezequías; y acampó junto al acueducto del estanque de arriba, en el camino del campo del Lavador.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 36:2 And the king of Assyria sent Rabshakeh from Lachish to Jerusalem to King Hezekiah with a large army. And he stood by the conduit of the upper pool on the highway of the fuller's field.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 36:3---- Isaías 36:3 Y salió a él Eliaquim, hijo de Hilcías mayordomo, y Sebna, escriba, y Joah, hijo de Asaf, el cronista.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 36:3 Then Eliakim the son of Hilkiah, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and Joah the son of Asaph, the recorder, came out to him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 36:4---- Isaías 36:4 A los cuales dijo el Rabsaces: Decid ahora a Ezequías: El gran rey, el rey de Asiria, dice así: ¿Qué confianza [es] ésta en que confías?(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 36:4 Then Rabshakeh said to them, "Say now to Hezekiah, 'Thus says the great king, the king of Assyria, "What is this confidence that you have?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 36:5---- Isaías 36:5 Digo, [alegas tú], (pero [son] palabras vanas) que tengo consejo y fortaleza para la guerra. Ahora bien, ¿en quién confías que te rebelas contra mí?(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 36:5 I say, 'Your counsel and strength for the war are only empty words.'Now on whom do you rely, that you have rebelled against me?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 36:6---- Isaías 36:6 He aquí que confías en este bordón de caña frágil, en Egipto, sobre el cual si alguien se apoyare, se le entrará por la mano, y se la atravesará. Tal [es] Faraón rey de Egipto para con todos los que en él confían.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 36:6 Behold, you rely on the staff of this crushed reed, even on Egypt, on which if a man leans, it will go into his hand and pierce it. So is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who rely on him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 36:7---- Isaías 36:7 Y si me dijeres: En Jehová nuestro Dios confiamos; ¿no [es] Éste Aquél cuyos lugares altos y cuyos altares hizo quitar Ezequías, y dijo a Judá y a Jerusalén: Delante de este altar adoraréis?(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 36:7 But if you say to me, 'We trust in the Lord our God,' is it not He whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah has taken away and has said to Judah and to Jerusalem, 'You shall worship before this altar'?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 36:8---- Isaías 36:8 Ahora, pues, yo te ruego que des prendas al rey de Asiria mi señor, y yo te daré dos mil caballos, si pudieres tú dar jinetes que cabalguen sobre ellos.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 36:8 Now therefore, come make a bargain with my master the king of Assyria, and I will give you two thousand horses, if you are able on your part to set riders on them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 36:9---- Isaías 36:9 ¿Cómo, pues, harás volver el rostro de un capitán de los más pequeños siervos de mi señor, aunque estés confiado en Egipto por sus carros y hombres de a caballo?(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 36:9 How then can you repulse one official of the least of my master's servants and rely on Egypt for chariots and for horsemen?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 36:10---- Isaías 36:10 ¿Acaso vine yo ahora a esta tierra para destruirla sin Jehová? Jehová me dijo: Sube a esta tierra y destrúyela.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 36:10 Have I now come up without the Lord's approval against this land to destroy it? Has any one of the gods of the nations delivered his land from the hand of the king of Assyria?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 36:19---- Isaías 36:19 ¿Dónde [están] los dioses de Hamat y de Arfad? ¿Dónde [están] los dioses de Sefarvaim? ¿Libraron a Samaria de mi mano?(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 36:19 Where are the gods of Hamath and Arpad? Where are the gods of Sepharvaim?
