Also, remember that I am your bone and your flesh." (nasb) Jdg 9:2 "Please speak in the hearing of all the men of Shechem: 'Which is better for you, that all seventy of the sons of Jerubbaal reign over you, or that one reign over you?' Remember that I am your own flesh and bone." (nkjv) Jdg 9:2 Redet doch vor den Ohren aller Männer zu Sichem: was ist euch besser, daß siebzig Männer, alle Kinder Jerubbaals, über euch Herren seien, oder daß ein Mann über euch Herr sei? Gedenkt auch dabei, daß ich euer Gebein und Fleisch bin.(dhs) Jdg 9:2 λαλήσατε δὴ ἐν τοῖς ὠσὶν πάντων τῶν ἀνδρῶν Συχεμ τί τὸ ἀγαθὸν ὑμῖν κυριεῦσαι ὑμῶν ἑβδομήκοντα ἄνδρας πάντας υἱοὺς Ιεροβααλ ἢ κυριεύειν ὑμῶν ἄνδρα ἕνα καὶ μνήσθητε ὅτι ὀστοῦν ὑμῶν καὶ σὰρξ ὑμῶν εἰμι (lxx) ======= Judges 9:3 ============ Jdg 9:3 And his mother's relatives spoke all these words on his behalf in the hearing of all the leaders of Shechem; and they were inclined to follow Abimelech, for they said, "He is our relative." (nasb) Jdg 9:3 And his mother's brothers spoke all these words concerning him in the hearing of all the men of Shechem; and their heart was inclined to follow Abimelech, for they said, "He is our brother." (nkjv) Jdg 9:3 Da redeten die Brüder seiner Mutter von ihm alle diese Worte vor den Ohren aller Männer zu Sichem. Und ihr Herz neigte sich Abimelech nach; denn sie gedachten: Er ist unser Bruder.(dhs) Jdg 9:3 καὶ ἐλάλησαν περὶ αὐτοῦ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ τῆς μητρὸς αὐτοῦ ἐν τοῖς ὠσὶν πάντων τῶν ἀνδρῶν Συχεμ πάντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους καὶ ἔκλινεν ἡ καρδία αὐτῶν ὀπίσω Αβιμελεχ ὅτι εἶπαν ἀδελφὸς ἡμῶν ἐστιν (lxx) ======= Judges 9:4 ============ Jdg 9:4 They gave him seventy pieces of silver from the house of Baal-berith with which Abimelech hired worthless and reckless fellows, and they followed him. (nasb) Jdg 9:4 So they gave him seventy shekels of silver from the temple of Baal-Berith, with which Abimelech hired worthless and reckless men; and they followed him. (nkjv) Jdg 9:4 Und sie gaben ihm siebzig Silberlinge aus dem Haus Baal-Beriths. Und Abimelech dingte damit lose, leichtfertige Männer, die ihm nachfolgten.(dhs) Jdg 9:4 καὶ ἔδωκαν αὐτῷ ἑβδομήκοντα ἀργυρίου ἐξ οἴκου Βααλβεριθ καὶ ἐμισθώσατο ἑαυτῷ Αβιμελεχ ἄνδρας κενοὺς καὶ δειλούς καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ὀπίσω αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Judges 9:5 ============ Jdg 9:5 Then he went to his father's house at Ophrah and killed his brothers the sons of Jerubbaal, seventy men, on one stone. But Jotham the youngest son of Jerubbaal was left, for he hid himself. (nkjv) Jdg 9:5 Und er kam in seines Vaters Haus gen Ophra und erwürgte seine Brüder, die Kinder Jerubbaals, siebzig Mann, auf einem Stein. Es blieb aber übrig Jotham, der jüngste Sohn Jerubbaals; denn er war versteckt.(dhs) Jdg 9:5 καὶ εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ εἰς Εφραθα καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτοῦ υἱοὺς Ιεροβααλ ἑβδομήκοντα ἄνδρας ἐπὶ λίθον ἕνα καὶ κατελείφθη Ιωαθαν υἱὸς Ιεροβααλ ὁ νεώτερος ὅτι ἐκρύβη (lxx) ======= Judges 9:6 ============ Jdg 9:6 All the men of Shechem and all Beth-millo assembled together, and they went and made Abimelech king, by the oak of the pillar which was in Shechem. Thus he said to them, "Listen to me, O men of Shechem, that God may listen to you. (nkjv) Jdg 9:8 Die Bäume gingen hin, daß sie einen König über sich salbten, und sprachen zu dem Ölbaum: Sei unser König!(dhs) Jdg 9:8 πορευόμενα ἐπορεύθη τὰ ξύλα τοῦ χρῖσαι ἐφ᾽ ἑαυτὰ βασιλέα καὶ εἶπον τῇ ἐλαίᾳ βασίλευσον ἐφ᾽ ἡμῶν (lxx) ======= Judges 9:9 ============ Jdg 9:9 But the olive tree said to them, 'Shall I leave my fatness with which God and men are honored, and go to wave over the trees?' (nasb) Jdg 9:9 But the olive tree said to them, 'Should I cease giving my oil, With which they honor God and men, And go to sway over trees?' (nkjv) Jdg 9:9 Aber der Ölbaum antwortete ihnen: Soll ich meine Fettigkeit lassen, die beide, Götter und Menschen, an mir preisen, und hingehen, daß ich schwebe über den Bäumen?(dhs) Jdg 9:9 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ἡ ἐλαία μὴ ἀπολείψασα τὴν πιότητά μου ἐν ᾗ δοξάσουσι τὸν θεὸν ἄνδρες πορεύσομαι κινεῖσθαι ἐπὶ τῶν ξύλων (lxx) ======= Judges 9:10 ============ Jdg 9:10 Then the trees said to the fig tree, 'You come, reign over us!' (nkjv) Jdg 9:11 Aber der Feigenbaum sprach zu ihnen: Soll ich meine Süßigkeit und meine gute Frucht lassen und hingehen, daß ich über den Bäumen schwebe?(dhs) Jdg 9:11 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ἡ συκῆ μὴ ἀπολείψασα ἐγὼ τὴν γλυκύτητά μου καὶ τὰ γενήματά μου τὰ ἀγαθὰ πορεύσομαι κινεῖσθαι ἐπὶ τῶν ξύλων (lxx) ======= Judges 9:12 ============ Jdg 9:12 Then the trees said to the vine, 'You come, reign over us!' (nasb) Jdg 9:13 But the vine said to them, 'Should I cease my new wine, Which cheers both God and men, And go to sway over trees?' (nkjv) Jdg 9:13 Aber der Weinstock sprach zu ihnen: Soll ich meinen Most lassen, der Götter und Menschen fröhlich macht, und hingehen, daß ich über den Bäumen schwebe?(dhs) Jdg 9:13 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ἡ ἄμπελος μὴ ἀπολείψασα τὸν οἶνόν μου τὸν εὐφραίνοντα θεὸν καὶ ἀνθρώπους πορεύσομαι κινεῖσθαι ἐπὶ τῶν ξύλων (lxx) ======= Judges 9:14 ============ Jdg 9:14 Finally all the trees said to the bramble, 'You come, reign over us!' (nkjv) Jdg 9:14 Da sprachen die Bäume zum Dornbusch: Komm du und sei unser König!(dhs) Jdg 9:14 καὶ εἶπαν πάντα τὰ ξύλα τῇ ῥάμνῳ δεῦρο σὺ βασίλευσον ἐφ᾽ ἡμῶν (lxx) ======= Judges 9:15 ============ Jdg 9:15 The bramble said to the trees, 'If in truth you are anointing me as king over you, come and take refuge in my shade; but if not, may fire come out from the bramble and consume the cedars of Lebanon.' (nasb) Jdg 9:15 And the bramble said to the trees, 'If in truth you anoint me as king over you, Then come and take shelter in my shade; But if not, let fire come out of the bramble And devour the cedars of Lebanon!' (nkjv) Jdg 9:20 wo nicht, so gehe Feuer aus von Abimelech und verzehre die Männer zu Sichem und das Haus Millo, und gehe auch Feuer aus von den Männern zu Sichem und vom Haus Millo und verzehre Abimelech.(dhs) Jdg 9:20 εἰ δὲ οὐ ἐξέλθοι πῦρ ἀπὸ Αβιμελεχ καὶ φάγοι τοὺς ἄνδρας Σικιμων καὶ τὸν οἶκον Βηθμααλλων καὶ ἐξέλθοι πῦρ ἀπὸ ἀνδρῶν Σικιμων καὶ ἐκ τοῦ οἴκου Βηθμααλλων καὶ καταφάγοι τὸν Αβιμελεχ (lxx) ======= Judges 9:21 ============ Jdg 9:21 Then Jotham escaped and fled, and went to Beer and remained there because of Abimelech his brother. Und die Männer zu Sichem wurden Abimelech untreu,(dhs) Jdg 9:23 καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν ὁ θεὸς πνεῦμα πονηρὸν ἀνὰ μέσον Αβιμελεχ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ἀνδρῶν Σικιμων καὶ ἠθέτησαν ἄνδρες Σικιμων ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ Αβιμελεχ (lxx) ======= Judges 9:24 ============ Jdg 9:24 so that the violence done to the seventy sons of Jerubbaal might come, and their blood might be laid on Abimelech their brother, who killed them, and on the men of Shechem, who strengthened his hands to kill his brothers. (nkjv) Jdg 9:24 auf daß der Frevel, an den siebzig Söhnen Jerubbaals begangen, und ihr Blut käme auf Abimelech, ihren Bruder, der sie erwürgt hatte, und auf die Männer zu Sichem, die ihm seine Hand dazu gestärkt hatten, daß er seine Brüder erwürgte.(dhs) Jdg 9:24 τοῦ ἐπαγαγεῖν τὴν ἀδικίαν τῶν ἑβδομήκοντα υἱῶν Ιεροβααλ καὶ τὰ αἵματα αὐτῶν τοῦ θεῖναι ἐπὶ Αβιμελεχ τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτῶν ὃς ἀπέκτεινεν αὐτούς καὶ ἐπὶ ἄνδρας Σικιμων ὅτι ἐνίσχυσαν τὰς χεῖρας αὐτοῦ ἀποκτεῖναι τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Judges 9:25 ============ Jdg 9:25 The men of Shechem set men in ambush against him on the tops of the mountains, and they robbed all who might pass by them along the road; and it was told to Abimelech.
