(nasb) 1Ch 22:2 So David commanded to gather the aliens who were in the land of Israel; and he appointed masons to cut hewn stones to build the house of God. Therefore now I will make preparation for it." So David made ample preparations before his death. (nkjv) 1Ch 22:5 Denn David gedachte: Mein Sohn Salomo ist jung und zart; das Haus aber, das dem HERRN soll gebaut werden, soll groß sein, daß sein Name und Ruhm erhoben werde in allen Landen; darum will ich Vorrat schaffen. Be strong and courageous, do not fear nor be dismayed. Sei getrost und unverzagt, fürchte dich nicht und zage nicht!(dhs) 1Ch 22:13 τότε εὐοδώσει ἐὰν φυλάξῃς τοῦ ποιεῖν τὰ προστάγματα καὶ τὰ κρίματα ἃ ἐνετείλατο κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ ἐπὶ Ισραηλ ἀνδρίζου καὶ ἴσχυε μὴ φοβοῦ μηδὲ πτοηθῇς (lxx) ======= 1 Chronicles 22:14 ============ 1Ch 22:14 Now behold, with great pains I have prepared for the house of the Lord 100,000 talents of gold and 1,000,000 talents of silver, and bronze and iron beyond weight, for they are in great quantity; also timber and stone I have prepared, and you may add to them.
