Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 15:11 ============ Isa 15:11 The oracle concerning Moab. Surely in a night Ar of Moab is devastated and ruined; Surely in a night Kir of Moab is devastated and ruined. (nasb) Isa 15:1 The burden against Moab. Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste And destroyed, Because in the night Kir of Moab is laid waste And destroyed, (nkjv) Isa 15:1 Dies ist die Last über Moab: Des Nachts kommt Verstörung über Ar in Moab; sie ist dahin. Des Nachts kommt Verstörung über Kir in Moab; sie ist dahin.(dhs) Isa 15:1 τὸ ῥῆμα τὸ κατὰ τῆς Μωαβίτιδος νυκτὸς ἀπολεῖται ἡ Μωαβῖτις νυκτὸς γὰρ ἀπολεῖται τὸ τεῖχος τῆς Μωαβίτιδος (lxx) ======= Isaiah 15:2 ============ Isa 15:2 They have gone up to the temple and to Dibon, even to the high places to weep. Moab wails over Nebo and Medeba; Everyone's head is bald and every beard is cut off. (nasb) Isa 15:2 He has gone up to the temple and Dibon, To the high places to weep. Moab will wail over Nebo and over Medeba; On all their heads will be baldness, And every beard cut off. (nkjv) Isa 15:2 Sie gehen hinauf gen Baith und Dibon zu den Altären, daß sie weinen, und heulen über Nebo und Medeba in Moab. Aller Haupt ist kahl geschoren, aller Bart ist abgeschnitten.(dhs) Isa 15:2 λυπεῖσθε ἐφ᾽ ἑαυτοῖς ἀπολεῖται γὰρ καὶ Δηβων οὗ ὁ βωμὸς ὑμῶν ἐκεῖ ἀναβήσεσθε κλαίειν ἐπὶ Ναβαυ τῆς Μωαβίτιδος ὀλολύζετε ἐπὶ πάσης κεφαλῆς φαλάκρωμα πάντες βραχίονες κατατετμημένοι (lxx) ======= Isaiah 15:3 ============ Isa 15:3 In their streets they have girded themselves with sackcloth; On their housetops and in their squares Everyone is wailing, dissolved in tears. (nasb) Isa 15:3 In their streets they will clothe themselves with sackcloth; On the tops of their houses And in their streets Everyone will wail, weeping bitterly. (nkjv) Isa 15:3 Auf ihren Gassen gehen sie mit Säcken umgürtet; auf ihren Dächern und Straßen heulen sie alle und gehen weinend herab.(dhs) Isa 15:3 ἐν ταῖς πλατείαις αὐτῆς περιζώσασθε σάκκους καὶ κόπτεσθε ἐπὶ τῶν δωμάτων αὐτῆς καὶ ἐν ταῖς ῥύμαις αὐτῆς πάντες ὀλολύζετε μετὰ κλαυθμοῦ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 15:4 ============ Isa 15:4 Heshbon and Elealeh also cry out, Their voice is heard all the way to Jahaz; Therefore the armed men of Moab cry aloud; His soul trembles within him. (nasb) Isa 15:4 Heshbon and Elealeh will cry out, Their voice shall be heard as far as Jahaz; Therefore the armed soldiers of Moab will cry out; His life will be burdensome to him. (nkjv) Isa 15:4 Hesbon und Eleale schreien, daß man's zu Jahza hört. Darum wehklagen die Gerüsteten in Moab; denn es geht ihrer Seele übel.(dhs) Isa 15:4 ὅτι κέκραγεν Εσεβων καὶ Ελεαλη ἕως Ιασσα ἠκούσθη ἡ φωνὴ αὐτῶν διὰ τοῦτο ἡ ὀσφὺς τῆς Μωαβίτιδος βοᾷ ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτῆς γνώσεται (lxx) ======= Isaiah 15:5 ============ Isa 15:5 My heart cries out for Moab; His fugitives are as far as Zoar and Eglath-shelishiyah, For they go up the ascent of Luhith weeping; Surely on the road to Horonaim they raise a cry of distress over their ruin. (nasb) Isa 15:5 "My heart will cry out for Moab; His fugitives shall flee to Zoar, Like a three-year-old heifer. For by the Ascent of Luhith They will go up with weeping; For in the way of Horonaim They will raise up a cry of destruction, (nkjv) Isa 15:5 Mein Herz schreit über Moab, seine Flüchtigen fliehen bis gen Zoar, bis zum dritten Eglath. Denn sie gehen gen Luhith hinan und weinen, und auf dem Wege nach Horonaim zu erhebt sich ein Jammergeschrei.(dhs) Isa 15:5 ἡ καρδία τῆς Μωαβίτιδος βοᾷ ἐν αὐτῇ ἕως Σηγωρ δάμαλις γάρ ἐστιν τριετής ἐπὶ δὲ τῆς ἀναβάσεως τῆς Λουιθ πρὸς σὲ κλαίοντες ἀναβήσονται τῇ ὁδῷ Αρωνιιμ βοᾷ σύντριμμα καὶ σεισμός (lxx) ======= Isaiah 15:6 ============ Isa 15:6 For the waters of Nimrim are desolate. Surely the grass is withered, the tender grass died out, There is no green thing. (nasb) Isa 15:6 For the waters of Nimrim will be desolate, For the green grass has withered away; The grass fails, there is nothing green. (nkjv) Isa 15:6 Denn die Wasser zu Nimrim versiegen, daß das Gras verdorrt und das Kraut verwelkt und kein Grünes wächst.(dhs) Isa 15:6 τὸ ὕδωρ τῆς Νεμριμ ἔρημον ἔσται καὶ ὁ χόρτος αὐτῆς ἐκλείψει χόρτος γὰρ χλωρὸς οὐκ ἔσται (lxx) ======= Isaiah 15:7 ============ Isa 15:7 Therefore the abundance which they have acquired and stored up They carry off over the brook of Arabim. (nasb) Isa 15:7 Therefore the abundance they have gained, And what they have laid up, They will carry away to the Brook of the Willows. (nkjv) Isa 15:7 Denn das Gut, das sie gesammelt haben, und alles, was sie verwahrt haben, führt man über den Weidenbach.(dhs) Isa 15:7 μὴ καὶ οὕτως μέλλει σωθῆναι ἐπάξω γὰρ ἐπὶ τὴν φάραγγα Ἄραβας καὶ λήμψονται αὐτήν (lxx) ======= Isaiah 15:8 ============ Isa 15:8 For the cry of distress has gone around the territory of Moab, Its wail goes as far as Eglaim and its wailing even to Beer-elim. (nasb) Isa 15:8 For the cry has gone all around the borders of Moab, Its wailing to Eglaim And its wailing to Beer Elim. (nkjv) Isa 15:8 Geschrei geht um in den Grenzen Moabs; sie heulen bis gen Eglaim und heulen bei dem Born Elim.(dhs) Isa 15:8 συνῆψεν γὰρ ἡ βοὴ τὸ ὅριον τῆς Μωαβίτιδος τῆς Αγαλλιμ καὶ ὀλολυγμὸς αὐτῆς ἕως τοῦ φρέατος τοῦ Αιλιμ (lxx) ======= Isaiah 15:9 ============ Isa 15:9 For the waters of Dimon are full of blood; Surely I will bring added woes upon Dimon, A lion upon the fugitives of Moab and upon the remnant of the land. (nasb) Isa 15:9 For the waters of Dimon will be full of blood; Because I will bring more upon Dimon, Lions upon him who escapes from Moab, And on the remnant of the land." (nkjv) Isa 15:9 Denn die Wasser zu Dimon sind voll Blut. Dazu will ich über Dimon noch mehr kommen lassen, über die, so erhalten sind in Moab, einen Löwen, und über die übrigen im Lande.(dhs) Isa 15:9 τὸ δὲ ὕδωρ τὸ Ρεμμων πλησθήσεται αἵματος ἐπάξω γὰρ ἐπὶ Ρεμμων Ἄραβας καὶ ἀρῶ τὸ σπέρμα Μωαβ καὶ Αριηλ καὶ τὸ κατάλοιπον Αδαμα (lxx) top of the page
