Today's Date: ======= Hosea 8:1 ============ Hos 8:1 Put the trumpet to your lips! Like an eagle the enemy comes against the house of the Lord, Because they have transgressed My covenant And rebelled against My law. (nasb) Hos 8:1 "Set the trumpet to your mouth! He shall come like an eagle against the house of the Lord, Because they have transgressed My covenant And rebelled against My law. (nkjv) Hos 8:1 Rufe laut wie eine Posaune: Er kommt über das Haus des HERRN wie ein Adler, darum daß sie meinen Bund übertreten und von meinem Gesetz abtrünnig werden.(dhs) Hos 8:1 εἰς κόλπον αὐτῶν ὡς γῆ ὡς ἀετὸς ἐπ᾽ οἶκον κυρίου ἀνθ᾽ ὧν παρέβησαν τὴν διαθήκην μου καὶ κατὰ τοῦ νόμου μου ἠσέβησαν (lxx) ======= Hosea 8:2 ============ Hos 8:2 They cry out to Me, "My God, we of Israel know You!" (nasb) Hos 8:2 Israel will cry to Me, 'My God, we know You!' (nkjv) Hos 8:2 Dann werden sie zu mir schreien: Du bist mein Gott; wir, Israel, kennen dich!(dhs) Hos 8:2 ἐμὲ κεκράξονται ὁ θεός ἐγνώκαμέν σε (lxx) ======= Hosea 8:3 ============ Hos 8:3 Israel has rejected the good; The enemy will pursue him. (nasb) Hos 8:3 Israel has rejected the good; The enemy will pursue him. (nkjv) Hos 8:3 Israel verwirft das Gute; darum muß sie der Feind verfolgen.(dhs) Hos 8:3 ὅτι Ισραηλ ἀπεστρέψατο ἀγαθά ἐχθρὸν κατεδίωξαν (lxx) ======= Hosea 8:4 ============ Hos 8:4 They have set up kings, but not by Me; They have appointed princes, but I did not know it. With their silver and gold they have made idols for themselves, That they might be cut off. (nasb) Hos 8:4 "They set up kings, but not by Me; They made princes, but I did not acknowledge them. From their silver and gold They made idols for themselves-- That they might be cut off. (nkjv) Hos 8:4 Sie machen Könige, aber ohne mich; sie setzen Fürsten, und ich darf es nicht wissen. Aus ihrem Silber und Gold machen sie Götzen, daß sie ja bald ausgerottet werden.(dhs) Hos 8:4 ἑαυτοῖς ἐβασίλευσαν καὶ οὐ δι᾽ ἐμοῦ ἦρξαν καὶ οὐκ ἐγνώρισάν μοι τὸ ἀργύριον αὐτῶν καὶ τὸ χρυσίον αὐτῶν ἐποίησαν ἑαυτοῖς εἴδωλα ὅπως ἐξολεθρευθῶσιν (lxx) ======= Hosea 8:5 ============ Hos 8:5 He has rejected your calf, O Samaria, saying, "My anger burns against them!" How long will they be incapable of innocence? (nasb) Hos 8:5 Your calf is rejected, O Samaria! My anger is aroused against them-- How long until they attain to innocence? (nkjv) Hos 8:5 Dein Kalb, Samaria, verwirft er; mein Zorn ist über sie ergrimmt. Es kann nicht lange anstehen, sie müssen gestraft werden.(dhs) Hos 8:5 ἀπότριψαι τὸν μόσχον σου Σαμάρεια παρωξύνθη ὁ θυμός μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς ἕως τίνος οὐ μὴ δύνωνται καθαρισθῆναι (lxx) ======= Hosea 8:6 ============ Hos 8:6 For from Israel is even this! A craftsman made it, so it is not God; Surely the calf of Samaria will be broken to pieces. (nasb) Hos 8:6 For from Israel is even this: A workman made it, and it is not God; But the calf of Samaria shall be broken to pieces. (nkjv) Hos 8:6 Denn das Kalb ist aus Israel hergekommen, und ein Werkmann hat's gemacht, und es kann ja kein Gott sein; darum soll das Kalb Samarias zerpulvert werden.(dhs) Hos 8:6 ἐν τῷ Ισραηλ καὶ αὐτὸ τέκτων ἐποίησεν καὶ οὐ θεός ἐστιν διότι πλανῶν ἦν ὁ μόσχος σου Σαμάρεια (lxx) ======= Hosea 8:7 ============ Hos 8:7 For they sow the wind And they reap the whirlwind. The standing grain has no heads; It yields no grain. Should it yield, strangers would swallow it up. (nasb) Hos 8:7 "They sow the wind, And reap the whirlwind. The stalk has no bud; It shall never produce meal. If it should produce, Aliens would swallow it up. (nkjv) Hos 8:7 Denn sie säen Wind und werden Ungewitter einernten; ihre Saat soll nicht aufkommen und ihr Gewächs kein Mehl geben; und ob's geben würde, sollen's doch Fremde fressen.(dhs) Hos 8:7 ὅτι ἀνεμόφθορα ἔσπειραν καὶ ἡ καταστροφὴ αὐτῶν ἐκδέξεται αὐτά δράγμα οὐκ ἔχον ἰσχὺν τοῦ ποιῆσαι ἄλευρον ἐὰν δὲ καὶ ποιήσῃ ἀλλότριοι καταφάγονται αὐτό (lxx) ======= Hosea 8:8 ============ Hos 8:8 Israel is swallowed up; They are now among the nations Like a vessel in which no one delights. (nasb) Hos 8:8 Israel is swallowed up; Now they are among the Gentiles Like a vessel in which is no pleasure. (nkjv) Hos 8:8 Israel wird aufgefressen; die Heiden gehen mit ihnen um wie mit einem unwerten Gefäß,(dhs) Hos 8:8 κατεπόθη Ισραηλ νῦν ἐγένετο ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν ὡς σκεῦος ἄχρηστον (lxx) ======= Hosea 8:9 ============ Hos 8:9 For they have gone up to Assyria, Like a wild donkey all alone; Ephraim has hired lovers. (nasb) Hos 8:9 For they have gone up to Assyria, Like a wild donkey alone by itself; Ephraim has hired lovers. (nkjv) Hos 8:9 darum daß sie hinauf zum Assur laufen wie ein Wild in der Irre. Ephraim schenkt den Buhlern und gibt den Heiden Tribut.(dhs) Hos 8:9 ὅτι αὐτοὶ ἀνέβησαν εἰς Ἀσσυρίους ἀνέθαλεν καθ᾽ ἑαυτὸν Εφραιμ δῶρα ἠγάπησαν (lxx) ======= Hosea 8:10 ============ Hos 8:10 Even though they hire allies among the nations, Now I will gather them up; And they will begin to diminish Because of the burden of the king of princes. (nasb) Hos 8:10 Yes, though they have hired among the nations, Now I will gather them; And they shall sorrow a little, Because of the burden of the king of princes. (nkjv) Hos 8:10 Dieselben Heiden will ich nun über sie sammeln; sie sollen der Last des Königs der Fürsten bald müde werden.(dhs) Hos 8:10 διὰ τοῦτο παραδοθήσονται ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν νῦν εἰσδέξομαι αὐτούς καὶ κοπάσουσιν μικρὸν τοῦ χρίειν βασιλέα καὶ ἄρχοντας (lxx) ======= Hosea 8:11 ============ Hos 8:11 Since Ephraim has multiplied altars for sin, They have become altars of sinning for him. (nasb) Hos 8:11 "Because Ephraim has made many altars for sin, They have become for him altars for sinning. (nkjv) Hos 8:11 Denn Ephraim hat der Altäre viel gemacht zu sündigen; so sollen auch die Altäre ihm zur Sünde geraten.(dhs) Hos 8:11 ὅτι ἐπλήθυνεν Εφραιμ θυσιαστήρια εἰς ἁμαρτίας ἐγένοντο αὐτῷ θυσιαστήρια ἠγαπημένα (lxx) ======= Hosea 8:12 ============ Hos 8:12 Though I wrote for him ten thousand precepts of My law, They are regarded as a strange thing. (nasb) Hos 8:12 I have written for him the great things of My law, But they were considered a strange thing. (nkjv) Hos 8:12 Wenn ich ihm gleich viel tausend Gebote meines Gesetzes schreibe, so wird's geachtet wie eine Fremde Lehre.(dhs) Hos 8:12 καταγράψω αὐτῷ πλῆθος καὶ τὰ νόμιμα αὐτοῦ εἰς ἀλλότρια ἐλογίσθησαν θυσιαστήρια τὰ ἠγαπημένα (lxx) ======= Hosea 8:13 ============ Hos 8:13 As for My sacrificial gifts, They sacrifice the flesh and eat it, But the Lord has taken no delight in them. Now He will remember their iniquity, And punish them for their sins; They will return to Egypt. (nasb) Hos 8:13 For the sacrifices of My offerings they sacrifice flesh and eat it, But the Lord does not accept them. Now He will remember their iniquity and punish their sins. They shall return to Egypt. (nkjv) Hos 8:13 Ob sie schon viel opfern und Fleisch herbringen und essen's, so hat doch der HERR kein Gefallen an ihnen; sondern er will ihrer Missetat gedenken und ihre Sünden heimsuchen; sie sollen wieder nach Ägypten kommen!(dhs) Hos 8:13 διότι ἐὰν θύσωσιν θυσίαν καὶ φάγωσιν κρέα κύριος οὐ προσδέξεται αὐτά νῦν μνησθήσεται τὰς ἀδικίας αὐτῶν καὶ ἐκδικήσει τὰς ἁμαρτίας αὐτῶν αὐτοὶ εἰς Αἴγυπτον ἀπέστρεψαν καὶ ἐν Ἀσσυρίοις ἀκάθαρτα φάγονται (lxx) ======= Hosea 8:14 ============ Hos 8:14 For Israel has forgotten his Maker and built palaces; And Judah has multiplied fortified cities, But I will send a fire on its cities that it may consume its palatial dwellings. (nasb) Hos 8:14 "For Israel has forgotten his Maker, And has built temples; Judah also has multiplied fortified cities; But I will send fire upon his cities, And it shall devour his palaces." (nkjv) Hos 8:14 Israel vergißt seines Schöpfers und baut Paläste; so macht Juda viel feste Städte; aber ich will Feuer in seine Städte schicken, welches soll seine Häuser verzehren.(dhs) Hos 8:14 καὶ ἐπελάθετο Ισραηλ τοῦ ποιήσαντος αὐτὸν καὶ ᾠκοδόμησαν τεμένη καὶ Ιουδας ἐπλήθυνεν πόλεις τετειχισμένας καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πῦρ εἰς τὰς πόλεις αὐτοῦ καὶ καταφάγεται τὰ θεμέλια αὐτῶν (lxx) top of the page
