Today's Date: 1 ׃1 וּבִשְׁנַ֣ת אַחַ֗ת לְכ֙וֹרֶשׁ֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ פָּרַ֔ס לִכְל֥וֹת דְּבַר־יְהוָ֖ה מִפִּ֣י יִרְמְיָ֑ה הֵעִ֣יר יְהוָ֗ה אֶת־ר֙וּחַ֙ כֹּ֣רֶשׁ מֶֽלֶךְ־פָּרַ֔ס וַיַּֽעֲבֶר־קוֹל֙ בְּכָל־מַלְכוּת֔וֹ וְגַם־בְּמִכְתָּ֖ב לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezra Ezr 1:1 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he sent a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying:(nasb) ======= Ezra 1:2 ============ Eza 1:2 Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, The LORD God of heaven hath given me all the kingdoms of the earth; and he hath charged me to build him an house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.(KJV) Ezra 1:2 Thus saith Cyrus King of Persia, The Lorde God of heauen hath giuen me all the kingdomes of the earth, and he hath commanded me to builde him an house in Ierusalem, which is in Iudah.(Geneva) Esdras 1:2 Ainsi parle Cyrus, roi des Perses: L'Eternel, le Dieu des cieux, m'a donné tous les royaumes de la terre, et il m'a commandé de lui bâtir une maison à Jérusalem en Juda.(FR) 2 ׃1 כֹּ֣ה אָמַ֗ר כֹּ֚רֶשׁ מֶ֣לֶךְ פָּרַ֔ס כֹּ֚ל מַמְלְכ֣וֹת הָאָ֔רֶץ נָ֣תַן לִ֔י יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם וְהֽוּא־פָקַ֤ד עָלַי֙ לִבְנֽוֹת־ל֣וֹ בַ֔יִת בִּירוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּֽיהוּדָֽה׃ Ezra Ezr 1:2 "Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, 'The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and He has appointed me to build Him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah.(nasb) ======= Ezra 1:3 ============ Eza 1:3 Who is there among you of all his people? his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of the LORD God of Israel, (he is the God,) which is in Jerusalem.(KJV) Ezra 1:3 Who is he among you of all his people with whome his God is? let him goe vp to Ierusalem which is in Iudah, and buylde the house of the Lorde God of Israel: he is the God, which is in Ierusalem.(Geneva) Esdras 1:3 Qui d'entre vous est de son peuple? Que son Dieu soit avec lui, et qu'il monte à Jérusalem en Juda et bâtisse la maison de l'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël! C'est le Dieu qui est à Jérusalem.(FR) 3 ׃1 מִֽי־בָכֶ֣ם מִכָּל־עַמּ֗וֹ יְהִ֤י אֱלֹהָיו֙ עִמּ֔וֹ וְיַ֕עַל לִירוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם אֲשֶׁ֣ר בִּיהוּדָ֑ה וְיִ֗בֶן אֶת־בֵּ֤ית יְהוָה֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל ה֥וּא הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ Ezra Ezr 1:3 Whoever there is among you of all His people, may his God be with him! Let him go up to Jerusalem which is in Judah and rebuild the house of the Lord, the God of Israel; He is the God who is in Jerusalem.(nasb) ======= Ezra 1:4 ============ Eza 1:4 And whosoever remaineth in any place where he sojourneth, let the men of his place help him with silver, and with gold, and with goods, and with beasts, beside the freewill offering for the house of God that is in Jerusalem.(KJV) Ezra 1:4 And euery one that remayneth in any place (where he soiourneth) let the men of his place relieue him with siluer and with golde, and with substance, and with cattel, and with a willing offring, for the house of God that is in Ierusalem.(Geneva) Esdras 1:4 Dans tout lieu où séjournent des restes du peuple de l'Eternel, les gens du lieu leur donneront de l'argent, de l'or, des effets, et du bétail, avec des offrandes volontaires pour la maison de Dieu qui est à Jérusalem.(FR) 4 ׃1 וְכָל־הַנִּשְׁאָ֗ר מִֽכָּל־הַמְּקֹמוֹת֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר ה֣וּא גָֽר־שָׁם֒ יְנַשְּׂא֙וּהוּ֙ אַנְשֵׁ֣י מְקֹמ֔וֹ בְּכֶ֥סֶף וּבְזָהָ֖ב וּבִרְכ֣וּשׁ וּבִבְהֵמָ֑ה עִם־הַ֨נְּדָבָ֔ה לְבֵ֥ית הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ Ezra Ezr 1:4 Every survivor, at whatever place he may live, let the men of that place support him with silver and gold, with goods and cattle, together with a freewill offering for the house of God which is in Jerusalem.'" (nasb) ======= Ezra 1:5 ============ Eza 1:5 Then rose up the chief of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, with all them whose spirit God had raised, to go up to build the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem.(KJV) Ezra 1:5 Then the chiefe fathers of Iudah & Beniamin, & the Priests & Leuites rose vp, with al them whose spirit God had raysed to goe vp, to builde the house of the Lord which is in Ierusalem.(Geneva) Esdras 1:5 Les chefs de famille de Juda et de Benjamin, les sacrificateurs et les Lévites, tous ceux dont Dieu réveilla l'esprit, se levèrent pour לִבְנ֔וֹת אֶת־בֵּ֥ית יְהוָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר בִּירוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ Ezra Ezr 1:5 Then the heads of fathers' households of Judah and Benjamin and the priests and the Levites arose, even everyone whose spirit God had stirred to go up and rebuild the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem.(nasb) ======= Ezra 1:6 ============ Eza 1:6 And all they that were about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered.(KJV) Ezra 1:6 And all they that were about them, strengthened their handes with vessels וּבַמִּגְדָּנ֑וֹת לְבַ֖ד עַל־כָּל־הִתְנַדֵּֽב׃ ס Ezra Ezr 1:6 All those about them encouraged them with articles of silver, with gold, with goods, with cattle and with valuables, aside from all that was given as a freewill offering.(nasb) ======= Ezra 1:7 ============ Eza 1:7 Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods;(KJV) Ezra 1:7 Also the King Cyrus brought forth the vessels of the house of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of Ierusalem, and had put of the house of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and put in the house of his gods;(nasb) ======= Ezra 1:8 ============ Eza 1:8 Even those did Cyrus king of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and numbered them unto Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.(KJV) Ezra 1:8 Euen them did Cyrus King of Persia bring forth by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, & counted them vnto Sheshbazzar the Prince of Iudah.(Geneva) Esdras 1:8 Cyrus, roi de Perse, les fit sortir par Mithredath, le trésorier, qui les remit à Scheschbatsar, prince de Juda.(FR) the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, and he counted them out to Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah.(nasb) ======= Ezra 1:9 ============ Eza 1:9 And this is the number of them: thirty chargers of gold, a thousand chargers of silver, nine and twenty knives,(KJV) Ezra 1:9 And this is the nomber of them, thirtie basins of golde, a thousand basins of siluer, nine and twentie kniues,(Geneva) Esdras 1:9 וְעֶשְׂרִֽים׃ ס Ezra Ezr 1:9 Now this was their number: 30 gold dishes, 1,000 silver dishes, 29 duplicates;(nasb) ======= Ezra 1:10 ============ Eza 1:10 Thirty basons of gold, silver basons of a second sort four hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand.(KJV) Ezra 1:10 Thirtie boules of gold, and of siluer boules of the second sort, foure hundreth and tenne, and of other vessels, a thousand.(Geneva) Esdras 1:10 trente coupes d'or, quatre cent dix coupes d'argent de second ordre, mille autres ustensiles.(FR) 10 ׃1 כְּפוֹרֵ֤י זָהָב֙ שְׁלֹשִׁ֔ים כְּפ֤וֹרֵי כֶ֙סֶף֙ מִשְׁנִ֔ים אַרְבַּ֥ע מֵא֖וֹת וַעֲשָׂרָ֑ה כֵּלִ֥ים אֲחֵרִ֖ים אָֽלֶף׃ ס Ezra Ezr 1:10 30 gold bowls, 410 silver bowls of a second kind and 1,000 other articles.(nasb) ======= Ezra 1:11 ============ Eza 1:11 All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and four hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem.(kjv) Ezra 1:11 All the vessels of golde and siluer were fiue thousand & foure hundreth. Sheshbazzar brought vp all with them of the captiuitie that came vp from Babel to Ierusalem.(Geneva) Esdras 1:11 Tous les objets d'or et d'argent étaient au nombre de cinq mille quatre cents. Sheshbazzar brought them all up with the exiles who went up from Babylon to Jerusalem. (nasb) ======= Ezra 2:1 ============ Eza 2:1 Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;(KJV) Ezra 2:1 These also are the sonnes of the prouince, that went vp out of the captiuitie (whome Nebuchadnezzar King of Babel had caried away vnto Babel) and returned to Ierusalem, and to Iudah, euery one vnto his citie,(Geneva) Esdras 2:1 Voici ceux de la province qui revinrent de l'exil, ceux que Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, avait emmenés captifs à Babylone, et qui retournèrent à Jérusalem et en Juda, chacun dans sa ville.(FR) |
