Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 9:1 ============ Eze 9:1 He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.(KJV) Ezekiel 9:1 He cryed also with a loude voyce in mine eares, saying, The visitations of the citie draw neere, and euery man hath a weapon in his hande to destroy it.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 9:1 Puis il cria d'une voix forte à mes oreilles: Approchez, vous qui devez châtier la ville, chacun son instrument de destruction à la main!(FR) 1 ׃9 וַיִּקְרָ֣א בְאָזְנַ֗י ק֤וֹל גָּדוֹל֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר קָרְב֖וּ פְּקֻדּ֣וֹת הָעִ֑יר וְאִ֛ישׁ כְּלִ֥י מַשְׁחֵת֖וֹ בְּיָדֽוֹ׃ Ezekiel Eze 9:1 Then He cried out in my hearing with a loud voice saying, "Draw near, O executioners of the city, each with his destroying weapon in his hand."(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 9:2 ============ Eze 9:2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.(KJV) Ezekiel 9:2 And beholde, sixe men came by the way of the hie gate, which lieth towarde the North, and euery man a weapon in his hande to destroy it: and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writers ynkhorne by his side, and they went in and stoode beside the brasen altar.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 9:2 Et voici, six hommes arrivèrent par le chemin de la porte supérieure du côté du septentrion, chacun son instrument de destruction à la main. Ils vinrent se placer près de l'autel d'airain.(FR) 2 ׃9 וְהִנֵּ֣ה שִׁשָּׁ֣ה אֲנָשִׁ֡ים בָּאִ֣ים ׀ מִדֶּרֶךְ־שַׁ֨עַר הָעֶלְי֜וֹן אֲשֶׁ֣ר ׀ מָפְנֶ֣ה צָפ֗וֹנָה וְאִ֨ישׁ כְּלִ֤י מַפָּצוֹ֙ בְּיָד֔וֹ וְאִישׁ־אֶחָ֤ד בְּתוֹכָם֙ לָבֻ֣שׁ בַּדִּ֔ים וְקֶ֥סֶת הַסֹּפֵ֖ר בְּמָתְנָ֑יו וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ וַיַּ֣עַמְד֔וּ אֵ֖צֶל מִזְבַּ֥ח הַנְּחֹֽשֶׁת׃ Ezekiel Eze 9:2 Behold, six men came from the direction of the upper gate which faces north, each with his shattering weapon in his hand; and among them was a certain man clothed in linen with a writing case at his loins. And they went in and stood beside the bronze altar. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 9:3 ============ Eze 9:3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And He called to the man clothed in linen at whose loins was the writing case. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 9:4 ============ Eze 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.(KJV) Ezekiel 9:4 And the Lord said vnto him, Goe through the middes of the citie, euen through the middes of Ierusalem and set a marke vpon the foreheads of them that mourne, and cry for all the abominations that be done in the middes thereof.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 9:4 L'Eternel lui dit: Passe au milieu de la ville, au milieu de Jérusalem, et fais une marque sur le front des hommes qui soupirent et qui gémissent à cause de toutes les abominations qui s'y commettent.(FR) 4 ׃9 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ *אלו **אֵלָ֔יו עֲבֹר֙ בְּת֣וֹךְ הָעִ֔יר בְּת֖וֹךְ יְרֽוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וְהִתְוִ֨יתָ תָּ֜ו עַל־מִצְח֣וֹת הָאֲנָשִׁ֗ים הַנֶּֽאֱנָחִים֙ וְהַנֶּ֣אֱנָקִ֔ים עַ֚ל כָּל־הַתּ֣וֹעֵב֔וֹת הַֽנַּעֲשׂ֖וֹת בְּתוֹכָֽהּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 9:4 The Lord said to him, "Go through the midst of the city, even through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations which are being committed in its midst."(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 9:5 ============ Eze 9:5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:(KJV) Ezekiel 9:5 And to the other he said, that I might heare, Goe ye after him through the citie, and smite: let your eye spare none, neither haue pitie.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 9:5 Et, à mes oreilles, il dit aux autres: Passez après lui dans la ville, et frappez; que votre oeil soit sans pitié, et n'ayez point de miséricorde!(FR) 5 ׃9 וּלְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ אָמַ֣ר בְּאָזְנַ֔י עִבְר֥וּ בָעִ֛יר אַחֲרָ֖יו וְהַכּ֑וּ *על־**אַל־תָּחֹ֥ס *עיניכם **עֵינְכֶ֖ם וְאַל־תַּחְמֹֽלוּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 9:5 But to the others He said in my hearing, "Go through the city after him and strike; do not let your eye have pity and do not spare. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 9:6 ============ Eze 9:6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.(KJV) Ezekiel 9:6 Destroy vtterly the old, and the yong, and the maides, and the children, and the women, but touch no man, vpon whome is the marke, and begin at my Sanctuarie. So they started with the elders who were before the temple. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 9:7 ============ Eze 9:7 And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go ye forth. Ils sortirent, et ils frappèrent dans la ville.(FR) 7 ׃9 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֲלֵיהֶ֜ם טַמְּא֣וּ אֶת־הַבַּ֗יִת וּמַלְא֧וּ אֶת־הַחֲצֵר֛וֹת חֲלָלִ֖ים צֵ֑אוּ וְיָצְא֖וּ וְהִכּ֥וּ בָעִֽיר׃ Ezekiel Eze 9:7 And He said to them, "Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!" Thus they went out and struck down the people in the city. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 9:8 ============ Eze 9:8 And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel in thy pouring out of thy fury upon Jerusalem?(KJV) Ezekiel 9:8 Nowe when they had slaine them, and I had escaped, I fell downe vpon my face, and cryed, saying, Ah Lorde God, wilt thou destroy all the residue of Israel, in powring out thy wrath vpon Ierusalem?(Geneva) Ézéchiel 9:8 Comme ils frappaient, et que je restais encore, je tombai sur ma face, et je m'écriai: Ah! Seigneur Eternel, détruiras-tu tout ce qui reste d'Israël, en répandant ta fureur sur Jérusalem?(FR) 8 ׃9 וַֽיְהִי֙ כְּהַכּוֹתָ֔ם וְנֵֽאשֲׁאַ֖ר אָ֑נִי וָאֶפְּלָ֨ה עַל־פָּנַ֜י וָאֶזְעַ֗ק וָֽאֹמַר֙ אֲהָהּ֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הֲמַשְׁחִ֣ית אַתָּ֗ה אֵ֚ת כָּל־שְׁאֵרִ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בְּשָׁפְכְּךָ֥ אֶת־חֲמָתְךָ֖ עַל־יְרוּשָׁלָֽ͏ִם׃ Ezekiel Eze 9:8 As they were striking the people and I alone was left, I fell on my face and cried out saying, "Alas, Lord God! Are You destroying the whole remnant of Israel by pouring out Your wrath on Jerusalem?"(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 9:9 ============ Eze 9:9 Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.(KJV) Ezekiel 9:9 Then saide he vnto me, The iniquitie of the house of Israel, and Iudah is exceeding great, so that the lande is full of blood, and the citie full of corrupt iudgement: for they say, The Lord hath forsaken the earth, & the Lord seeth vs not.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 9:9 Il me répondit: L'iniquité de la maison d'Israël et de Juda est grande, excessive; le pays est rempli de meurtres, la ville est pleine d'injustice, car ils disent: L'Eternel a abandonné le pays, l'Eternel ne voit rien.(FR) 9 ׃9 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֗י עֲוֺ֨ן בֵּֽית־יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל וִֽיהוּדָה֙ גָּדוֹל֙ בִּמְאֹ֣ד מְאֹ֔ד וַתִּמָּלֵ֤א הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ דָּמִ֔ים וְהָעִ֖יר מָלְאָ֣ה מֻטֶּ֑ה כִּ֣י אָמְר֗וּ עָזַ֤ב יְהוָה֙ אֶת־הָאָ֔רֶץ וְאֵ֥ין יְהוָ֖ה רֹאֶֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 9:9 Then He said to me, "The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is very, very great, and the land is filled with blood and the city is full of perversion; for they say, 'The Lord has forsaken the land, and the Lord does not see!'(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 9:10 ============ Eze 9:10 And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.(KJV) Ezekiel 9:10 As touching me also, mine eye shall not spare them, neither will I haue pitie, but will recompence their wayes vpon their heades.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 9:10 Moi aussi, je serai sans pitié, et je n'aurai point de miséricorde; je ferai retomber leurs oeuvres sur leur tête.(FR) 10 ׃9 וְגַ֨ם־אֲנִ֔י לֹא־תָח֥וֹס עֵינִ֖י וְלֹ֣א אֶחְמֹ֑ל דַּרְכָּ֖ם בְּרֹאשָׁ֥ם נָתָֽתִּי׃ Ezekiel Eze 9:10 But as for Me, My eye will have no pity nor will I spare, but I will bring their conduct upon their heads."(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 9:11 ============ Eze 9:11 And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the inkhorn by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as thou hast commanded me.(kjv) Ezekiel 9:11 And beholde, the man clothed with linen which had the ynkhorne by his side, made report, and saide, Lorde, I haue done as thou hast commanded me.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 9:11 Et voici, l'homme vêtu de lin, et portant une écritoire à la ceinture, rendit cette réponse: J'ai fait ce que tu m'as ordonné.(FR) 11 ׃9 וְהִנֵּ֞ה הָאִ֣ישׁ ׀ לְבֻ֣שׁ הַבַּדִּ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר הַקֶּ֙סֶת֙ בְּמָתְנָ֔יו מֵשִׁ֥יב דָּבָ֖ר לֵאמֹ֑ר עָשִׂ֕יתִי *כאשר **כְּכֹ֖ל **אֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוִּיתָֽנִי׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 9:11 Then behold, the man clothed in linen at whose loins was the writing case reported, saying, "I have done just as You have commanded me."
