Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 26:1 ============ Eze 26:1 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,(KJV) Ezekiel 26:1 And in the eleuenth yeere, in the first day of the moneth, the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:1 La onzième année, le premier jour du mois, la parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots:(FR) 1 ׃26 וַיְהִ֛י בְּעַשְׁתֵּֽי־עֶשְׂרֵ֥ה שָׁנָ֖ה בְּאֶחָ֣ד לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הָיָ֥ה דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 26:1 Now in the eleventh year, on the first of the month, the word of the Lord came to me saying, (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:2 ============ Eze 26:2 Son of man, because that Tyrus hath said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste:(KJV) Ezekiel 26:2 Sonne of man, because that Tyrus hath said against Ierusalem, Aha, the gate of the people is broken: it is turned vnto me: for seeing she is desolate, I shall be replenished,(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:2 Fils de l'homme, parce que Tyr a dit sur Jérusalem: Ah! ah! Elle est brisée, la porte des peuples! On se tourne vers moi, Je me remplirai, elle est déserte!(FR) 2 ׃26 בֶּן־אָדָ֗ם יַ֠עַן אֲשֶׁר־אָ֨מְרָה צֹּ֤ר עַל־יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ הֶאָ֔ח נִשְׁבְּרָ֛ה דַּלְת֥וֹת הָעַמִּ֖ים נָסֵ֣בָּה אֵלָ֑י אִמָּלְאָ֖ה הָחֳרָֽבָה׃ Ezekiel Eze 26:2 "Son of man, because Tyre has said concerning Jerusalem, 'Aha, the gateway of the peoples is broken; it has opened to me. I shall be filled, now that she is laid waste, '(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:3 ============ Eze 26:3 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against thee, as the sea causeth his waves to come up.(KJV) Ezekiel 26:3 Therefore thus sayth the Lorde God, Beholde, I come against thee, O Tyrus, and I will bring vp many nations against thee, as the sea mounteth vp with his waues.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:3 A cause de cela, ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Voici, j'en veux à toi, Tyr! Je ferai monter contre toi des nations nombreuses, Comme la mer fait monter ses flots.(FR) 3 ׃26 לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֥י עָלַ֖יִךְ צֹ֑ר וְהַעֲלֵיתִ֤י עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ גּוֹיִ֣ם רַבִּ֔ים כְּהַעֲל֥וֹת הַיָּ֖ם לְגַלָּֽיו׃ Ezekiel Eze 26:3 therefore thus says the Lord God, 'Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and I will bring up many nations against you, as the sea brings up its waves. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:4 ============ Eze 26:4 And they shall destroy the walls of Tyrus, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her like the top of a rock.(KJV) Ezekiel 26:4 And they shall destroy the walles of Tyrus and breake downe her towres: I will also scrape her dust from her, & make her like the top of a rocke.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:4 Elles détruiront les murs de Tyr, Elles abattront ses tours, Et j'en raclerai la poussière; Je ferai d'elle un rocher nu;(FR) 4 ׃26 וְשִׁחֲת֞וּ חֹמ֣וֹת צֹ֗ר וְהָֽרְסוּ֙ מִגְדָּלֶ֔יהָ וְסִֽחֵיתִ֥י עֲפָרָ֖הּ מִמֶּ֑נָּה וְנָתַתִּ֥י אוֹתָ֖הּ לִצְחִ֥יחַ סָֽלַע׃ Ezekiel Eze 26:4 They will destroy the walls of Tyre and break down her towers; and I will scrape her debris from her and make her a bare rock. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:5 ============ Eze 26:5 It shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD: and it shall become a spoil to the nations.(KJV) Ezekiel 26:5 Thou shalt be for the spreading of nettes in the middes of the sea: for I haue spoken it, sayth the Lord God, and it shalbe a spoile to ye nations.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:5 Elle sera dans la mer un lieu où l'on étendra les filets; Car j'ai parlé, dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel. Elle sera la proie des nations.(FR) 5 ׃26 מִשְׁטַ֨ח חֲרָמִ֤ים תִּֽהְיֶה֙ בְּת֣וֹךְ הַיָּ֔ם כִּ֚י אֲנִ֣י דִבַּ֔רְתִּי נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה וְהָיְתָ֥ה לְבַ֖ז לַגּוֹיִֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 26:5 She will be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea, for I have spoken,' declares the Lord God, 'and she will become spoil for the nations. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:6 ============ Eze 26:6 And her daughters which are in the field shall be slain by the sword; and they shall know that I am the LORD.(KJV) Ezekiel 26:6 And her daughters which are in the fielde, shall be slaine by the sworde, and they shall know that I am the Lord.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:6 Ses filles sur son territoire Seront tuées par l'épée. Et ils sauront que je suis l'Eternel.(FR) 6 ׃26 וּבְנוֹתֶ֙יהָ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה בַּחֶ֖רֶב תֵּהָרַ֑גְנָה וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ פ Ezekiel Eze 26:6 Also her daughters who are on the mainland will be slain by the sword, and they will know that I am the Lord.'"(nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:7 ============ Eze 26:7 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people.(KJV) Ezekiel 26:7 For thus sayth the Lord God, Behold, I will bring vpon Tyrus Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel, a King of Kings from the North, with horses and with charets, and with horsemen, with a multitude and much people.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:7 Car ainsi parle le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Voici, j'amène du septentrion contre Tyr Nebucadnetsar, roi de Babylone, le roi des rois, avec des chevaux, des chars, des cavaliers, et une grande multitude de peuples.(FR) 7 ׃26 כִּ֣י כֹ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֧י מֵבִ֣יא אֶל־צֹ֗ר נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֧ר מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֛ל מִצָּפ֖וֹן מֶ֣לֶךְ מְלָכִ֑ים בְּס֛וּס וּבְרֶ֥כֶב וּבְפָרָשִׁ֖ים וְקָהָ֥ל וְעַם־רָֽב׃ Ezekiel Eze 26:7 For thus says the Lord God, "Behold, I will bring upon Tyre from the north Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, king of kings, with horses, chariots, cavalry and a great army. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:8 ============ Eze 26:8 He shall slay with the sword thy daughters in the field: and he shall make a fort against thee, and cast a mount against thee, and lift up the buckler against thee.(KJV) Ezekiel 26:8 He shall slay with the sword thy daughters in the fielde, and he shall make a fort against thee, and cast a mount against thee, and lift vp the buckler against thee.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:8 Il tuera par l'épée tes filles sur ton territoire; il fera contre toi des retranchements, il élèvera contre toi des terrasses, et il dressera contre toi le bouclier.(FR) 8 ׃26 בְּנוֹתַ֥יִךְ בַּשָּׂדֶ֖ה בַּחֶ֣רֶב יַהֲרֹ֑ג וְנָתַ֨ן עָלַ֜יִךְ דָּיֵ֗ק וְשָׁפַ֤ךְ עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ סֹֽלְלָ֔ה וְהֵקִ֥ים עָלַ֖יִךְ צִנָּֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 26:8 He will slay your daughters on the mainland with the sword; and he will make siege walls against you, cast up a ramp against you and raise up a large shield against you. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:9 ============ Eze 26:9 And he shall set engines of war against thy walls, and with his axes he shall break down thy towers.(KJV) Ezekiel 26:9 He shall set engins of warre before him against thy walles, and with his weapons breake downe thy towres.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:9 Il dirigera les coups de son bélier contre tes murs, et il renversera tes tours avec ses machines.(FR) 9 ׃26 וּמְחִ֣י קָֽבָלּ֔וֹ יִתֵּ֖ן בְּחֹֽמוֹתָ֑יִךְ וּמִ֨גְדְּלֹתַ֔יִךְ יִתֹּ֖ץ בְּחַרְבוֹתָֽיו׃ Ezekiel Eze 26:9 The blow of his battering rams he will direct against your walls, and with his axes he will break down your towers. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:10 ============ Eze 26:10 By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover thee: thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the chariots, when he shall enter into thy gates, as men enter into a city wherein is made a breach.(KJV) Ezekiel 26:10 The dust of his horses shall couer thee, for their multitude: thy walles shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheeles, and of the charets, when he shall enter into thy gates as into the entrie of a citie that is broken downe.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:10 La multitude de ses chevaux te couvrira de poussière; tes murs trembleront au bruit des cavaliers, des roues et des chars, lorsqu'il entrera dans tes portes comme on entre dans une ville conquise.(FR) 10 ׃26 מִשִּׁפְעַ֥ת סוּסָ֖יו יְכַסֵּ֣ךְ אֲבָקָ֑ם מִקּוֹל֩ פָּרַ֨שׁ וְגַלְגַּ֜ל וָרֶ֗כֶב תִּרְעַ֙שְׁנָה֙ חֽוֹמוֹתַ֔יִךְ בְּבֹאוֹ֙ בִּשְׁעָרַ֔יִךְ כִּמְבוֹאֵ֖י עִ֥יר מְבֻקָּעָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 26:10 Because of the multitude of his horses, the dust raised by them will cover you; your walls will shake at the noise of cavalry and wagons and chariots when he enters your gates as men enter a city that is breached. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:11 ============ Eze 26:11 With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: he shall slay thy people by the sword, and thy strong garrisons shall go down to the ground.(KJV) Ezekiel 26:11 With the hooues of his horses shall he treade downe all thy streetes: he shall slay thy people by the sworde, and the pillars of thy strength shall fall downe to the ground.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:11 Il foulera toutes tes rues avec les sabots de ses chevaux, il tuera ton peuple par l'épée, et les monuments de ton orgueil tomberont à terre.(FR) 11 ׃26 בְּפַרְס֣וֹת סוּסָ֔יו יִרְמֹ֖ס אֶת־כָּל־חֽוּצוֹתָ֑יִךְ עַמֵּךְ֙ בַּחֶ֣רֶב יַהֲרֹ֔ג וּמַצְּב֥וֹת עֻזֵּ֖ךְ לָאָ֥רֶץ תֵּרֵֽד׃ Ezekiel Eze 26:11 With the hoofs of his horses he will trample all your streets. He will slay your people with the sword; and your strong pillars will come down to the ground. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:12 ============ Eze 26:12 And they shall make a spoil of thy riches, and make a prey of thy merchandise: and they shall break down thy walls, and destroy thy pleasant houses: and they shall lay thy stones and thy timber and thy dust in the midst of the water.(KJV) Ezekiel 26:12 And they shall robbe thy riches, and spoyle thy marchandise, and they shall breake downe thy walles, and destroy thy pleasant houses, and they shall cast thy stones and thy timber and thy dust into the middes of the water.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:12 On enlèvera tes richesses, on pillera tes marchandises, on abattra tes murs, on renversera tes maisons de plaisance, et l'on jettera au milieu des eaux tes pierres, ton bois, et ta poussière.(FR) 12 ׃26 וְשָׁלְל֣וּ חֵילֵ֗ךְ וּבָֽזְזוּ֙ רְכֻלָּתֵ֔ךְ וְהָֽרְסוּ֙ חוֹמוֹתַ֔יִךְ וּבָתֵּ֥י חֶמְדָּתֵ֖ךְ יִתֹּ֑צוּ וַאֲבָנַ֤יִךְ וְעֵצַ֙יִךְ֙ וַֽעֲפָרֵ֔ךְ בְּת֥וֹךְ מַ֖יִם יָשִֽׂימוּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 26:12 Also they will make a spoil of your riches and a prey of your merchandise, break down your walls and destroy your pleasant houses, and throw your stones and your timbers and your debris into the water. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:13 ============ Eze 26:13 And I will cause the noise of thy songs to cease; and the sound of thy harps shall be no more heard.(KJV) Ezekiel 26:13 Thus will I cause the sounde of thy songs to cease, and the sound of thine harpes shall be no more heard.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:13 Je ferai cesser le bruit de tes chants, et l'on n'entendra plus le son de tes harpes.(FR) 13 ׃26 וְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֖י הֲמ֣וֹן שִׁירָ֑יִךְ וְק֣וֹל כִּנּוֹרַ֔יִךְ לֹ֥א יִשָּׁמַ֖ע עֽוֹד׃ Ezekiel Eze 26:13 So I will silence the sound of your songs, and the sound of your harps will be heard no more. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:14 ============ Eze 26:14 And I will make thee like the top of a rock: thou shalt be a place to spread nets upon; thou shalt be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD.(KJV) Ezekiel 26:14 I wil lay thee like the top of a rocke: thou shalt be for a spreading of nets: thou shalt be built no more: for I the Lord haue spoken it, sayth the Lord God.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:14 Je ferai de toi un rocher nu; tu seras un lieu où l'on étendra les filets; tu ne seras plus rebâtie. Car moi, l'Eternel, j'ai parlé, dit le Seigneur, l'Eternel.(FR) 14 ׃26 וּנְתַתִּ֞יךְ לִצְחִ֣יחַ סֶ֗לַע מִשְׁטַ֤ח חֲרָמִים֙ תִּֽהְיֶ֔ה לֹ֥א תִבָּנֶ֖ה ע֑וֹד כִּ֣י אֲנִ֤י יְהוָה֙ דִּבַּ֔רְתִּי נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 26:14 I will make you a bare rock; you will be a place for the spreading of nets. You will be built no more, for I the Lord have spoken," declares the Lord God. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:15 ============ Eze 26:15 Thus saith the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee?(KJV) Ezekiel 26:15 Thus sayth the Lorde God to Tyrus, Shall not the yles tremble at the sounde of thy fall? and at the crie of the wounded, when they shall be slaine and murthered in the middes of thee?(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:15 Ainsi parle à Tyr le Seigneur, l'Eternel: Au bruit de ta chute, Quand les mourants gémissent, Quand le carnage est dans ton sein, Les îles tremblent.(FR) 15 ׃26 כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֛ר אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִ֖ה לְצ֑וֹר הֲלֹ֣א ׀ מִקּ֣וֹל מַפַּלְתֵּ֗ךְ בֶּאֱנֹ֨ק חָלָ֜ל בֵּהָ֤רֵֽג הֶ֙רֶג֙ בְּתוֹכֵ֔ךְ יִרְעֲשׁ֖וּ הָאִיִּֽים׃ Ezekiel Eze 26:15 Thus says the Lord God to Tyre, "Shall not the coastlands shake at the sound of your fall when the wounded groan, when the slaughter occurs in your midst? (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:16 ============ Eze 26:16 Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished at thee.(KJV) Ezekiel 26:16 Then all the princes of the sea shall come downe from their thrones: they shall lay away their robes, and put off their broydered garments, and shall clothe themselues with astonishment: they shall sitte vpon the ground, and be astonished at euery moment, and be amased at thee.(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:16 Tous les princes de la mer descendent de leurs trônes, Ils ôtent leurs manteaux, Et quittent leurs vêtements brodés; Ils s'enveloppent de frayeur, et s'asseyent sur la terre; A chaque instant l'épouvante les saisit, Et ils sont consternés à cause de toi.(FR) 16 ׃26 וֽ͏ְיָרְד֞וּ מֵעַ֣ל כִּסְאוֹתָ֗ם כֹּ֚ל נְשִׂיאֵ֣י הַיָּ֔ם וְהֵסִ֙ירוּ֙ אֶת־מְעִ֣ילֵיהֶ֔ם וְאֶת־בִּגְדֵ֥י רִקְמָתָ֖ם יִפְשֹׁ֑טוּ חֲרָד֤וֹת ׀ יִלְבָּ֙שׁוּ֙ עַל־הָאָ֣רֶץ יֵשֵׁ֔בוּ וְחָֽרְדוּ֙ לִרְגָעִ֔ים וְשָׁמְמ֖וּ עָלָֽיִךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 26:16 Then all the princes of the sea will go down from their thrones, remove their robes and strip off their embroidered garments. They will clothe themselves with trembling; they will sit on the ground, tremble every moment and be appalled at you. (nasb) ======= Ezekiel 26:17 ============ Eze 26:17 And they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, How art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which wast strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it!(KJV) Ezekiel 26:17 And they shall take vp a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, Howe art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited of the sea men, the renoumed citie which was strong in the sea, both she and her inhabitants, which cause their feare to be on all that haunt therein!(Geneva) Ézéchiel 26:17 Ils prononcent sur toi une complainte, et te disent: Eh quoi! tu es détruite, Toi que peuplaient ceux qui parcourent les mers, Ville célèbre, qui étais puissante sur la mer! Elle est détruite avec ses habitants, Qui inspiraient la terreur à tous ceux d'alentour!(FR) 17 ׃26 וְנָשְׂא֨וּ עָלַ֤יִךְ קִינָה֙ וְאָ֣מְרוּ לָ֔ךְ אֵ֣יךְ אָבַ֔דְתְּ נוֹשֶׁ֖בֶת מִיַּמִּ֑ים הָעִ֣יר הַהֻלָּ֗לָה אֲשֶׁר֩ הָיְתָ֨ה חֲזָקָ֤ה בַיָּם֙ הִ֣יא וְיֹשְׁבֶ֔יהָ אֲשֶׁר־נָתְנ֥וּ חִתִּיתָ֖ם לְכָל־יוֹשְׁבֶֽיהָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 26:17 They will take up a lamentation over you and say to you, 'How you have perished, O inhabited one, From the seas, O renowned city, Which was mighty on the sea, She and her inhabitants, Who imposed her terror On all her inhabitants!
