I cried for help from the depth of Sheol; You heard my voice. (nasb) ======= Jonah 2:3 ============ Jon 2:3 For thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all thy billows and thy waves passed over me.(KJV) Jonah 2:3 For thou haddest cast me into the bottome in the middes of the sea, and the floods compassed me about: all thy surges, and all thy waues passed ouer me.(Geneva) Jonas 2:3 Tu m'as jeté dans l'abîme, dans le coeur de la mer, Et les courants d'eau m'ont environné; Toutes tes vagues et tous tes flots ont passé sur moi.(FR) 4 ׃2 וַתַּשְׁלִיכֵ֤נִי מְצוּלָה֙ בִּלְבַ֣ב יַמִּ֔ים וְנָהָ֖ר יְסֹבְבֵ֑נִי כָּל־מִשְׁבָּרֶ֥יךָ וְגַלֶּ֖יךָ עָלַ֥י עָבָֽרוּ׃ Jonah Jon 2:3 "For You had cast me into the deep, Into the heart of the seas, And the current engulfed me. All Your breakers and billows passed over me. (nasb) ======= Jonah 2:4 ============ Jon 2:4 Then I said, I am cast out of thy sight; yet I will look again toward thy holy temple.(KJV) Jonah 2:4 Then I saide, I am cast away out of thy sight: yet will I looke againe towarde thine holy Temple.(Geneva) Jonas 2:4 Je disais: Je suis chassé loin de ton regard! Mais je verrai encore ton saint temple.(FR) 5 ׃2 וַאֲנִ֣י אָמַ֔רְתִּי נִגְרַ֖שְׁתִּי מִנֶּ֣גֶד עֵינֶ֑יךָ אַ֚ךְ אוֹסִ֣יף לְהַבִּ֔יט אֶל־הֵיכַ֖ל קָדְשֶֽׁךָ׃ Jonah Jon 2:4 "So I said, 'I have been expelled from Your sight. The great deep engulfed me, Weeds were wrapped around my head. (nasb) ======= Jonah 2:6 ============ Jon 2:6 I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.(KJV) Jonah 2:6 I went downe to the bottome of the moutaines: the earth with her barres was about me for euer, yet hast thou brought vp my life from the pit, O Lorde my God.(Geneva) Jonas 2:6 Je suis descendu jusqu'aux racines des montagnes, Les barres de la terre m'enfermaient pour toujours; Mais tu m'as fait remonter vivant de la fosse, Eternel, mon Dieu!(FR) 7 ׃2 לְקִצְבֵ֤י הָרִים֙ יָרַ֔דְתִּי הָאָ֛רֶץ בְּרִחֶ֥יהָ בַעֲדִ֖י לְעוֹלָ֑ם וַתַּ֧עַל מִשַּׁ֛חַת חַיַּ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהָֽי׃ Jonah Jon 2:6 "I descended to the roots of the mountains. The earth with its bars was around me forever, But You have brought up my life from the pit, O Lord my God. (nasb) ======= Jonah 2:7 ============ Jon 2:7 When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.(KJV) Jonah 2:7 When my soule fainted within me, I remembred the Lorde: and my prayer came vnto thee, into thine holy Temple.(Geneva) Jonas 2:7 Quand mon âme était abattue au dedans de moi, Je me suis souvenu de l'Eternel, Et ma prière est parvenue jusqu'à toi, Dans ton saint temple.(FR) 8 ׃2 בְּהִתְעַטֵּ֤ף עָלַי֙ נַפְשִׁ֔י אֶת־יְהוָ֖ה זָכָ֑רְתִּי וַתָּב֤וֹא אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ תְּפִלָּתִ֔י אֶל־הֵיכַ֖ל קָדְשֶֽׁךָ׃ Jonah Jon 2:7 "While I was fainting away, I remembered the Lord, And my prayer came to You, Into Your holy temple. (nasb) ======= Jonah 2:8 ============ Jon 2:8 They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.(KJV) Jonah 2:8 They that waite vpon lying vanities, forsake their owne mercie.(Geneva) Jonas 2:8 Ceux qui s'attachent à de vaines idoles Eloignent d'eux la miséricorde.(FR) 9 ׃2 מְשַׁמְּרִ֖ים הַבְלֵי־שָׁ֑וְא חַסְדָּ֖ם יַעֲזֹֽבוּ׃ Jonah Jon 2:8 "Those who regard vain idols Forsake their faithfulness, (nasb) ======= Jonah 2:9 ============ Jon 2:9 But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.(KJV) Jonah 2:9 But I will sacrifice vnto thee with the voice of thankesgiuing, and will pay that that I haue vowed: saluation is of the Lorde.(Geneva) Jonas 2:9 Pour moi, je t'offrirai des sacrifices avec un cri d'actions de grâces, J'accomplirai les voeux que j'ai faits: Le salut vient de l'Eternel.(FR) 10 ׃2 וַאֲנִ֗י בְּק֤וֹל תּוֹדָה֙ אֶזְבְּחָה־לָּ֔ךְ אֲשֶׁ֥ר נָדַ֖רְתִּי אֲשַׁלֵּ֑מָה יְשׁוּעָ֖תָה לַיהוָֽה׃ ס Jonah Jon 2:9 But I will sacrifice to You With the voice of thanksgiving. That which I have vowed I will pay. Salvation is from the Lord."(nasb) ======= Jonah 2:10 ============ Jon 2:10 And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon the dry land.(kjv) Jonah 2:10 And the Lorde spake vnto the fish, and it cast out Ionah vpon the dry lande.(Geneva) Jonas 2:10 L'Eternel parla au poisson, et le poisson vomit Jonas sur la terre.(FR) 11 ׃2 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר יְהוָ֖ה לַדָּ֑ג וַיָּקֵ֥א אֶת־יוֹנָ֖ה אֶל־הַיַּבָּשָֽׁה׃ פ Jonah Jon 2:10 Then the Lord commanded the fish, and it vomited Jonah up onto the dry land.
