Today's Date: ======= Luke 20:1 ============ Luk 20:1 On one of the days while He was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes with the elders confronted Him,(nasb) Luk 20:1 Et factum est in una dierum, docente illo populum in templo, et evangelizante, convenerunt principes sacerdotum, et scribæ cum senioribus,(vulgate) Lucas 20:1 Y aconteció un día, que enseñando Él al pueblo en el templo, y predicando el evangelio, vinieron los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los escribas, con los ancianos,(E) Luc 20:1 Un de ces jours-là, comme Jésus enseignait le peuple dans le temple et qu'il annonçait la bonne nouvelle, les principaux sacrificateurs et les scribes, avec les anciens, survinrent,(F) Luk 20:1 Und es begab sich an der Tage einem, da er das Volk lehrte im Tempel und predigte das Evangelium, da traten zu ihm die Hohenpriester und Schriftgelehrten mit den Ältesten(D) Luk 20:1 καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν μιᾷ τῶν ἡμερῶν διδάσκοντος αὐτοῦ τὸν λαὸν ἐν τῶ ἱερῶ καὶ εὐαγγελιζομένου ἐπέστησαν οἱ ἀρχιερεῖς καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς σὺν τοῖς πρεσβυτέροις,(Nestle-Aland) Luk 20:1 Now it happened on one of those days, as He taught the people in the temple and preached the gospel, that the chief priests and the scribes, together with the elders, confronted Him(nkjv) ======= Luke 20:2 ============ Luk 20:2 and they spoke, saying to Him, "Tell us by what authority You are doing these things, or who is the one who gave You this authority?"(nasb) Luk 20:2 et aiunt dicentes ad illum: Dic nobis in qua potestate hæc facis? aut quis est qui dedit tibi hanc potestatem?(vulgate) Lucas 20:2 y le hablaron, diciendo: Dinos: ¿Con qué autoridad haces estas cosas? ¿O quién es el que te ha dado esta autoridad?(E) Luc 20:2 et lui dirent: Dis-nous, par quelle autorité fais-tu ces choses, ou qui est celui qui t'a donné cette autorité?(F) Luk 20:2 und sagten zu ihm und sprachen: Sage uns, aus was für Macht tust du das? oder wer hat dir die Macht gegeben?(D) Luk 20:2 καὶ εἶπαν λέγοντες πρὸς αὐτόν, εἰπὸν ἡμῖν ἐν ποίᾳ ἐξουσίᾳ ταῦτα ποιεῖς, ἢ τίς ἐστιν ὁ δούς σοι τὴν ἐξουσίαν ταύτην.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 20:2 and spoke to Him, saying, "Tell us, by what authority are You doing these things? Or who is he who gave You this authority?"(nkjv) ======= Luke 20:3 ============ Luk 20:3 Jesus answered and said to them, "I will also ask you a question, and you tell Me:(nasb) Luk 20:3 Respondens autem Jesus, dixit ad illos: Interrogabo vos et ego unum verbum. "A man planted a vineyard and rented it out to vine-growers, and went on a journey for a long time.(nasb) Luk 20:9 Cœpit autem dicere ad plebem parabolam hanc: Homo plantavit vineam, et locavit eam colonis: et ipse peregre fuit multis temporibus.(vulgate) Lucas 20:9 Y comenzó a decir al pueblo esta parábola: ‹Un hombre plantó una viña, y la arrendó a labradores, y partió lejos por mucho tiempo.›(E) Luc 20:9 Il se mit ensuite à dire au peuple cette parabole: Un homme planta une vigne, l'afferma à des vignerons, et quitta pour longtemps le pays.(F) Luk 20:9 Er fing aber an, zu sagen dem Volk dies Gleichnis: Ein Mensch pflanzte einen Weinberg und tat ihn den Weingärtnern aus und zog über Land eine gute Zeit.(D) Luk 20:9 ἤρξατο δὲ πρὸς τὸν λαὸν λέγειν τὴν παραβολὴν ταύτην· ἄνθρωπός [τις] ἐφύτευσεν ἀμπελῶνα, καὶ ἐξέδετο αὐτὸν γεωργοῖς, καὶ ἀπεδήμησεν χρόνους ἱκανούς.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 20:9 Then He began to tell the people this parable: "A certain man planted a vineyard, leased it to vinedressers, and went into a far country for a long time.(nkjv) ======= Luke 20:10 ============ Luk 20:10 At the harvest time he sent a slave to the vine-growers, so that they would give him some of the produce of the vineyard; but the vine-growers beat him and sent him away empty-handed.(nasb) Luk 20:10 Et in tempore misit ad cultores servum, ut de fructu vineæ darent illi. Qui cæsum dimiserunt eum inanem.(vulgate) Lucas 20:10 ‹Y al tiempo, envió un siervo a los labradores, para que le diesen del fruto de la viña; pero los labradores, le golpearon, y le enviaron vacío.›(E) Luc 20:10 Au temps de la récolte, il envoya un serviteur vers les vignerons, pour qu'ils lui donnent une part du produit de la vigne. Les vignerons le battirent, et le renvoyèrent à vide.(F) Luk 20:10 Und zu seiner Zeit sandte er einen Knecht zu den Weingärtnern, daß sie ihm gäben von der Frucht des Weinberges. Aber die Weingärtner stäupten ihn und ließen ihn leer von sich.(D) Luk 20:10 καὶ καιρῶ ἀπέστειλεν πρὸς τοὺς γεωργοὺς δοῦλον, ἵνα ἀπὸ τοῦ καρποῦ τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος δώσουσιν αὐτῶ· οἱ δὲ γεωργοὶ ἐξαπέστειλαν αὐτὸν δείραντες κενόν.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 20:10 Now at vintage-time he sent a servant to the vinedressers, that they might give him some of the fruit of the vineyard. But the vinedressers beat him and sent him away empty-handed.(nkjv) ======= Luke 20:11 ============ Luk 20:11 And he proceeded to send another slave; and they beat him also and treated him shamefully and sent him away empty-handed.(nasb) Luk 20:11 Et addidit alterum servum mittere. Illi autem hunc quoque cædentes, et afficientes contumelia, dimiserunt inanem.(vulgate) Lucas 20:11 ‹Y volvió a enviar otro siervo; mas ellos a éste también golpearon, y ultrajándole, le enviaron vacío.›(E) Luc 20:11 Il envoya encore un autre serviteur; ils le battirent, l'outragèrent, et le renvoyèrent à vide.(F) Luk 20:11 Und über das sandte er noch einen anderen Knecht; sie aber stäupten den auch und höhnten ihn und ließen ihn leer von sich.(D) Luk 20:11 καὶ προσέθετο ἕτερον πέμψαι δοῦλον· οἱ δὲ κἀκεῖνον δείραντες καὶ ἀτιμάσαντες ἐξαπέστειλαν κενόν.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 20:11 Again he sent another servant; and they beat him also, treated him shamefully, and sent him away empty-handed.(nkjv) ======= Luke 20:12 ============ Luk 20:12 And he proceeded to send a third; and this one also they wounded and cast out.(nasb) Luk 20:12 Et addidit tertium mittere: qui et illum vulnerantes ejecerunt.(vulgate) Lucas 20:12 ‹Y volvió a enviar un tercer siervo; y ellos también a éste hirieron, y le echaron fuera.›(E) Luc 20:12 Il en envoya encore un troisième; ils le blessèrent, et le chassèrent.(F) Luk 20:12 Und über das sandte er den dritten; sie aber verwundeten den auch und stießen ihn hinaus.(D) Luk 20:12 καὶ προσέθετο τρίτον πέμψαι· οἱ δὲ καὶ τοῦτον τραυματίσαντες ἐξέβαλον.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 20:12 And again he sent a third; and they wounded him also and cast him out.(nkjv) ======= Luke 20:13 ============ Luk 20:13 The owner of the vineyard said, 'What shall I do? I will send my beloved son; perhaps they will respect him.'(nasb) Luk 20:13 Dixit autem dominus vineæ: Quid faciam? Mittam filium meum dilectum: forsitan, cum hunc viderint, verebuntur.(vulgate) Lucas 20:13 ‹Entonces el señor de la viña dijo: ¿Qué haré? Enviaré a mi hijo amado; quizá le respetarán cuando le vean.›(E) Luc 20:13 Le maître de la vigne dit: Que ferai-je? J'enverrai mon fils bien-aimé; peut-être auront-ils pour lui du respect.(F) Luk 20:13 Da sprach der Herr des Weinberges: Was soll ich tun? Ich will meinen lieben Sohn senden; vielleicht, wenn sie den sehen, werden sie sich scheuen.(D) Luk 20:13 εἶπεν δὲ ὁ κύριος τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος, τί ποιήσω; πέμψω τὸν υἱόν μου τὸν ἀγαπητόν· ἴσως τοῦτον ἐντραπήσονται.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 20:13 Then the owner of the vineyard said, 'What shall I do? I will send my beloved son. Probably they will respect him when they see him.'(nkjv) ======= Luke 20:14 ============ Luk 20:14 But when the vine-growers saw him, they reasoned with one another, saying, 'This is the heir; let us kill him so that the inheritance will be ours.'(nasb) Luk 20:14 Quem cum vidissent coloni, cogitaverunt intra se, dicentes: Hic est hæres, occidamus illum, ut nostra fiat hæreditas.(vulgate) Lucas 20:14 ‹Pero cuando los labradores lo vieron, razonaron entre sí, diciendo: Éste es el heredero; venid, matémosle, para que la heredad sea nuestra.›(E) Luc 20:14 Mais, quand les vignerons le virent, ils raisonnèrent entre eux, et dirent: Voici l'héritier; tuons-le, afin que l'héritage soit à nous.(F) Luk 20:14 Da aber die Weingärtner den Sohn sahen, dachten sie bei sich selbst und sprachen: Das ist der Erbe; kommt, laßt uns ihn töten, daß das Erbe unser sei!(D) Luk 20:14 ἰδόντες δὲ αὐτὸν οἱ γεωργοὶ διελογίζοντο πρὸς ἀλλήλους λέγοντες, οὖτός ἐστιν ὁ κληρονόμος· ἀποκτείνωμεν αὐτόν, ἵνα ἡμῶν γένηται ἡ κληρονομία.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 20:14 But when the vinedressers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, 'This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.'(nkjv) ======= Luke 20:15 ============ Luk 20:15 So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What, then, will the owner of the vineyard do to them?(nasb) Luk 20:15 Et ejectum illum extra vineam, occiderunt. Quid ergo faciet illis dominus vineæ?(vulgate) Lucas 20:15 ‹Y echándole fuera de la viña, le mataron. ¿Qué, pues, les hará el señor de la viña?›(E) Luc 20:15 Et ils le jetèrent hors de la vigne, et le tuèrent. Maintenant, que leur fera le maître de la vigne?(F) Luk 20:15 Und sie stießen ihn hinaus vor den Weinberg und töteten ihn. Was wird nun der Herr des Weinberges ihnen tun?(D) Luk 20:15 καὶ ἐκβαλόντες αὐτὸν ἔξω τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος ἀπέκτειναν. τί οὗν ποιήσει αὐτοῖς ὁ κύριος τοῦ ἀμπελῶνος;(Nestle-Aland) Luk 20:15 So they cast him out of the vineyard and killed him. Therefore what will the owner of the vineyard do to them?(nkjv) ======= Luke 20:16 ============ Luk 20:16 He will come and destroy these vine-growers and will give the vineyard to others." When they heard it, they said, "May it never be!"(nasb) Luk 20:16 veniet, et perdet colonos istos, et dabit vineam aliis. Quo audito, dixerunt illi: Absit.(vulgate) Lucas 20:16 ‹Vendrá, y destruirá a estos labradores, y dará su viña a otros.› Y cuando ellos oyeron [esto], dijeron: ¡Dios nos libre!(E) Luc 20:16 Il viendra, fera périr ces vignerons, et il donnera la vigne à d'autres. Lorsqu'ils eurent entendu cela, ils dirent: A Dieu ne plaise!(F) Luk 20:16 Er wird kommen und diese Weingärtner umbringen und seinen Weinberg andern austun. Da sie das hörten, sprachen sie: Das sei ferne!(D) Luk 20:16 ἐλεύσεται καὶ ἀπολέσει τοὺς γεωργοὺς τούτους, καὶ δώσει τὸν ἀμπελῶνα ἄλλοις. ἀκούσαντες δὲ εἶπαν, μὴ γένοιτο.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 20:16 He will come and destroy those vinedressers and give the vineyard to others." And when they heard it they said, "Certainly not!"(nkjv) ======= Luke 20:17 ============ Luk 20:17 But Jesus looked at them and said, "What then is this that is written: 'THE STONE WHICH THE BUILDERS REJECTED, THIS BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone'?(nasb) Luk 20:17 Ille autem aspiciens eos, ait: Quid est ergo hoc quod scriptum est: Lapidem quem reprobaverunt ædificantes, hic factus est in caput anguli?(vulgate) Lucas 20:17 Y Él mirándolos, dijo: ‹¿Qué, pues, es lo que está escrito: La piedra que desecharon los edificadores, ésta vino a ser cabeza del ángulo?›(E) Luc 20:17 Mais, jetant les regards sur eux, Jésus dit: Que signifie donc ce qui est écrit: La pierre qu'ont rejetée ceux qui bâtissaient Est devenue la principale de l'angle?(F) Luk 20:17 Er aber sah sie an und sprach: Was ist denn das, was geschrieben steht: "Der Stein, den die Bauleute verworfen haben, ist zum Eckstein geworden"?(D) Luk 20:17 ὁ δὲ ἐμβλέψας αὐτοῖς εἶπεν, τί οὗν ἐστιν τὸ γεγραμμένον τοῦτο· λίθον ὃν ἀπεδοκίμασαν οἱ οἰκοδομοῦντες, οὖτος ἐγενήθη εἰς κεφαλὴν γωνίας;(Nestle-Aland) Luk 20:17 Then He looked at them and said, "What then is this that is written: 'The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone'?(nkjv) ======= Luke 20:18 ============ Luk 20:18 Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust."(nasb) Luk 20:18 Omnis qui ceciderit super illum lapidem, conquassabitur: super quem autem ceciderit, comminuet illum.~(vulgate) Lucas 20:18 ‹Cualquiera que cayere sobre aquella piedra, será quebrantado; pero sobre el que ella cayere, le desmenuzará.›(E) Luc 20:18 Quiconque tombera sur cette pierre s'y brisera, et celui sur qui elle tombera sera écrasé.(F) Luk 20:18 Wer auf diesen Stein fällt, der wird zerschellen; auf wen aber er fällt, den wird er zermalmen.(D) Luk 20:18 πᾶς ὁ πεσὼν ἐπ᾽ ἐκεῖνον τὸν λίθον συνθλασθήσεται· ἐφ᾽ ὃν δ᾽ ἂν πέσῃ, λικμήσει αὐτόν.(Nestle-Aland) Luk 20:18 "Whoever falls on that stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder."(nkjv) ======= Luke 20:19 ============ Luk 20:19 The scribes and the chief priests tried to lay hands on Him that very hour, and they feared the people; for they understood that He spoke this parable against them.(nasb) Luk 20:19 Et quærebant principes sacerdotum et scribæ mittere in illum manus illa hora, et timuerunt populum: cognoverunt enim quod ad ipsos dixerit similitudinem hanc.(vulgate) Lucas 20:19 Y procuraban los príncipes de los sacerdotes y los escribas echarle mano en aquella hora, porque entendieron que contra ellos había dicho esta parábola; pero temieron al pueblo.(E) Luc 20:19 Les principaux sacrificateurs et les scribes cherchèrent à mettre la main sur lui à l'heure même, mais ils craignirent le peuple.
