Selah.(nas) Psa 21:2 κύριε ἐν τῇ δυνάμει σου εὐφρανθήσεται ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ ἐπὶ τῷ σωτηρίῳ σου ἀγαλλιάσεται σφόδρα (lxx) Psa 21:2 [Vulgate 20:3] desiderium cordis eius dedisti ei et voluntate labiorum eius non fraudasti eum semper(vulgate) 3 ׃21 תַּאֲוַ֣ת לִ֭בּוֹ נָתַ֣תָּה לּ֑וֹ וַאֲרֶ֥שֶׁת שְׂ֝פָתָ֗יו בַּל־מָנַ֥עְתָּ סֶּֽלָה׃ Psalms Psa 21:2 Du gibst ihm seines Herzens Wunsch und weigerst nicht, was sein Mund bittet. Selah(nkjv) ======= Psalm 21:3 ============ Psa 21:3 For You meet him with the blessings of good things; You set a crown of fine gold on his head.(nas) Psa 21:3 τὴν ἐπιθυμίαν τῆς ψυχῆς αὐτοῦ ἔδωκας αὐτῷ καὶ τὴν θέλησιν τῶν χειλέων αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἐστέρησας αὐτόν διάψαλμα (lxx) Psa 21:3 [Vulgate 20:4] quoniam praevenies eum benedictionibus bonitatis pones in capite eius coronam de lapide pretioso(vulgate) 4 ׃21 כִּֽי־תְ֭קַדְּמֶנּוּ בִּרְכ֣וֹת ט֑וֹב תָּשִׁ֥ית לְ֝רֹאשׁ֗וֹ עֲטֶ֣רֶת פָּֽז׃ Psalms Psa 21:3 Denn du überschüttest ihn mit gutem Segen; du setzt eine goldene Krone auf sein Haupt.(dhs) Psa 21:3 For You meet him with the blessings of goodness; You set a crown of pure gold upon his head.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 21:4 ============ Psa 21:4 He asked life of You, You gave it to him, Length of days forever and ever.(nas) Psa 21:4 ὅτι προέφθασας αὐτὸν ἐν εὐλογίαις χρηστότητος ἔθηκας ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ στέφανον ἐκ λίθου τιμίου (lxx) Psa 21:4 [Vulgate 20:5] vitam petivit te et dedisti ei longitudinem dierum in saeculum et in aeternum(vulgate) 5 ׃21 חַיִּ֤ים ׀ שָׁאַ֣ל מִ֭מְּךָ נָתַ֣תָּה לּ֑וֹ אֹ֥רֶךְ יָ֝מִ֗ים עוֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד׃ Psalms Psa 21:4 Er bittet Leben von dir; so gibst du ihm langes Leben immer und ewiglich.(dhs) Psa 21:4 He asked life from You, and You gave it to him-- Length of days forever and ever.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 21:5 ============ Psa 21:5 His glory is great through Your salvation, Splendor and majesty You place upon him.(nas) Psa 21:5 ζωὴν ᾐτήσατό σε καὶ ἔδωκας αὐτῷ μακρότητα ἡμερῶν εἰς αἰῶνα αἰῶνος (lxx) Psa 21:5 [Vulgate 20:6] magna gloria eius in salutari tuo gloriam et decorem pones super eum(vulgate) 6 ׃21 גָּד֣וֹל כְּ֭בוֹדוֹ בִּישׁוּעָתֶ֑ךָ ה֥וֹד וְ֝הָדָר תְּשַׁוֶּ֥ה עָלָֽיו׃ Psalms Psa 21:5 Er hat große Ehre an deiner Hilfe; du legst Lob und Schmuck auf ihn.(dhs) Psa 21:5 His glory is great in Your salvation; Honor and majesty You have placed upon him.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 21:6 ============ Psa 21:6 For You make him most blessed forever; You make him joyful with gladness in Your presence.(nas) Psa 21:6 μεγάλη ἡ δόξα αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ σωτηρίῳ σου δόξαν καὶ μεγαλοπρέπειαν ἐπιθήσεις ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν (lxx) Psa 21:6 [Vulgate 20:7] pones enim eum benedictionem sempiternam et hilarabis eum laetitia apud vultum tuum(vulgate) 7 ׃21 כִּֽי־תְשִׁיתֵ֣הוּ בְרָכ֣וֹת לָעַ֑ד תְּחַדֵּ֥הוּ בְ֝שִׂמְחָ֗ה אֶת־פָּנֶֽיךָ׃ Psalms Psa 21:6 Denn du setzest ihn zum Segen ewiglich; du erfreuest ihn mit Freude vor deinem Antlitz.(dhs) Psa 21:6 For You have made him most blessed forever; You have made him exceedingly glad with Your presence.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 21:7 ============ Psa 21:7 For the king trusts in the Lord, And through the lovingkindness of the Most High he will not be shaken.(nas) Psa 21:7 ὅτι δώσεις αὐτῷ εὐλογίαν εἰς αἰῶνα αἰῶνος εὐφρανεῖς αὐτὸν ἐν χαρᾷ μετὰ τοῦ προσώπου σου (lxx) Psa 21:7 [Vulgate 20:8] quia rex confidet in Domino et in misericordia Excelsi non decipietur(vulgate) 8 ׃21 כִּֽי־הַ֭מֶּלֶךְ בֹּטֵ֣חַ בַּיהוָ֑ה וּבְחֶ֥סֶד עֶ֝לְי֗וֹן בַּל־יִמּֽוֹט׃ Psalms Psa 21:7 Denn der König hofft auf den HERRN und wird durch die Güte des HERRN fest bleiben.(dhs) Psa 21:7 For the king trusts in the Lord, And through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 21:8 ============ Psa 21:8 Your hand will find out all your enemies; Your right hand will find out those who hate you.(nas) Psa 21:8 ὅτι ὁ βασιλεὺς ἐλπίζει ἐπὶ κύριον καὶ ἐν τῷ ἐλέει τοῦ ὑψίστου οὐ μὴ σαλευθῇ (lxx) Psa 21:8 [Vulgate 20:9] inveniet manus tua omnes inimicos tuos dextera tua inveniet odientes te(vulgate) 9 ׃21 תִּמְצָ֣א יָ֭דְךָ לְכָל־אֹיְבֶ֑יךָ יְ֝מִֽינְךָ תִּמְצָ֥א שֹׂנְאֶֽיךָ׃ Psalms Psa 21:8 Deine Hand wird finden alle deine Feinde; deine Rechte wird finden, die dich hassen.(dhs) Psa 21:8 Your hand will find all Your enemies; Your right hand will find those who hate You.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 21:9 ============ Psa 21:9 You will make them as a fiery oven in the time of your anger; The Lord will swallow them up in His wrath, And fire will devour them.(nas) Psa 21:9 εὑρεθείη ἡ χείρ σου πᾶσιν τοῖς ἐχθροῖς σου ἡ δεξιά σου εὕροι πάντας τοὺς μισοῦντάς σε (lxx) Psa 21:9 [Vulgate 20:10] pones eos ut clibanum ignis in tempore vultus tui Dominus in furore suo praecipitabit eos et devorabit eos ignis(vulgate) 10 ׃21 תְּשִׁיתֵ֤מוֹ ׀ כְּתַנּ֥וּר אֵשׁ֮ לְעֵ֢ת פָּ֫נֶ֥יךָ יְ֭הוָה בְּאַפּ֣וֹ יְבַלְּעֵ֑ם וְֽתֹאכְלֵ֥ם אֵֽשׁ׃ Psalms Psa 21:9 Du wirst sie machen wie ein Feuerofen, wenn du dreinsehen wirst; der HERR wird sie verschlingen in seinem Zorn; Feuer wird sie fressen.(dhs) Psa 21:9 You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of Your anger; The Lord shall swallow them up in His wrath, And the fire shall devour them.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 21:10 ============ Psa 21:10 Their offspring You will destroy from the earth, And their descendants from among the sons of men.(nas) Psa 21:10 θήσεις αὐτοὺς ὡς κλίβανον πυρὸς εἰς καιρὸν τοῦ προσώπου σου κύριος ἐν ὀργῇ αὐτοῦ συνταράξει αὐτούς καὶ καταφάγεται αὐτοὺς πῦρ (lxx) Psa 21:10 [Vulgate 20:11] fructum eorum de terra perdes et semen eorum de filiis hominum(vulgate) 11 ׃21 פִּ֭רְיָמוֹ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ תְּאַבֵּ֑ד וְ֝זַרְעָ֗ם מִבְּנֵ֥י אָדָֽם׃ Psalms Psa 21:10 Ihre Frucht wirst du umbringen vom Erdboden und ihren Samen von den Menschenkindern.(dhs) Psa 21:10 Their offspring You shall destroy from the earth, And their descendants from among the sons of men.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 21:11 ============ Psa 21:11 Though they intended evil against You And devised a plot, They will not succeed.(nas) Psa 21:11 τὸν καρπὸν αὐτῶν ἀπὸ γῆς ἀπολεῖς καὶ τὸ σπέρμα αὐτῶν ἀπὸ υἱῶν ἀνθρώπων (lxx) Psa 21:11 [Vulgate 20:12] quoniam inclinaverunt super te malum cogitaverunt scelus quod non potuerunt(vulgate) 12 ׃21 כִּי־נָט֣וּ עָלֶ֣יךָ רָעָ֑ה חָֽשְׁב֥וּ מְ֝זִמָּ֗ה בַּל־יוּכָֽלוּ׃ Psalms Psa 21:11 Denn sie gedachten dir Übles zu tun und machten Anschläge, die sie nicht konnten ausführen.(dhs) Psa 21:11 For they intended evil against You; They devised a plot which they are not able to perform.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 21:12 ============ Psa 21:12 For You will make them turn their back; You will aim with Your bowstrings at their faces.(nas) Psa 21:12 ὅτι ἔκλιναν εἰς σὲ κακά διελογίσαντο βουλήν ἣν οὐ μὴ δύνωνται στῆσαι (lxx) Psa 21:12 [Vulgate 20:13] quia pones eos umerum funes tuos firmabis contra facies eorum(vulgate) 13 ׃21 כִּ֭י תְּשִׁיתֵ֣מוֹ שֶׁ֑כֶם בְּ֝מֵֽיתָרֶ֗יךָ תְּכוֹנֵ֥ן עַל־פְּנֵיהֶֽם׃ Psalms Psa 21:12 Denn du wirst machen, daß sie den Rücken kehren; mit deiner Sehne wirst du gegen ihr Antlitz zielen.(dhs) Psa 21:12 Therefore You will make them turn their back; You will make ready Your arrows on Your string toward their faces.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 21:13 ============ Psa 21:13 Be exalted, O Lord, in Your strength; We will sing and praise Your power.(nas) Psa 21:13 ὑψώθητι κύριε ἐν τῇ δυνάμει σου ᾄσομεν καὶ ψαλοῦμεν τὰς δυναστείας σου (lxx) Psa 21:13 [Vulgate 20:14] exaltare Domine in fortitudine tua cantabimus et psallemus fortitudines tuas(vulgate) 14 ׃21 ר֣וּמָה יְהוָ֣ה בְּעֻזֶּ֑ךָ נָשִׁ֥ירָה וּֽ֝נְזַמְּרָה גְּבוּרָתֶֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 21:13 HERR, erhebe dich in deiner Kraft, so wollen wir singen und loben deine Macht.(dhs) Psa 21:13 Be exalted, O Lord, in Your own strength!
