Today's Date: ======= Psalm 121:1 ============ Psa 121:1 I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come?(nas) Psa 121:1 ᾠδὴ τῶν ἀναβαθμῶν ἦρα τοὺς ὀφθαλμούς μου εἰς τὰ ὄρη πόθεν ἥξει ἡ βοήθειά μου (lxx) Psa 121:1 [Vulgate 120:1] canticum graduum levavi oculos meos in montes unde veniet auxilium meum(vulgate) 1 ׃121 שִׁ֗יר לַֽמַּ֫עֲל֥וֹת אֶשָּׂ֣א עֵ֭ינַי אֶל־הֶהָרִ֑ים מֵ֝אַ֗יִן יָבֹ֥א עֶזְרִֽי׃ Psalms Psa 121:1 (Ein Lied im höhern Chor.) I will lift up my eyes to the hills-- From whence comes my help?(nkjv) ======= Psalm 121:2 ============ Psa 121:2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.(nas) Psa 121:2 ἡ βοήθειά μου παρὰ κυρίου τοῦ ποιήσαντος τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ τὴν γῆν (lxx) Psa 121:2 [Vulgate 120:2] auxilium meum a Domino factore caeli et terrae(vulgate) 2 ׃121 עֶ֭זְרִי מֵעִ֣ם יְהוָ֑ה עֹ֝שֵׂ֗ה שָׁמַ֥יִם וָאָֽרֶץ׃ Psalms Psa 121:2 Meine Hilfe kommt von dem HERRN, der Himmel und Erde gemacht hat.(dhs) Psa 121:2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 121:3 ============ Psa 121:3 He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber.(nas) Psa 121:3 μὴ δῷς εἰς σάλον τὸν πόδα σου μηδὲ νυστάξῃ ὁ φυλάσσων σε (lxx) Psa 121:3 [Vulgate 120:3] non det in commotionem pedem tuum nec dormitet qui custodit te(vulgate) 3 ׃121 אַל־יִתֵּ֣ן לַמּ֣וֹט רַגְלֶ֑ךָ אַל־יָ֝נ֗וּם שֹֽׁמְרֶֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 121:3 Er wird deinen Fuß nicht gleiten lassen; und der dich behütet schläft nicht.(dhs) Psa 121:3 He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 121:4 ============ Psa 121:4 Behold, He who keeps Israel Will neither slumber nor sleep.(nas) Psa 121:4 ἰδοὺ οὐ νυστάξει οὐδὲ ὑπνώσει ὁ φυλάσσων τὸν Ισραηλ (lxx) Psa 121:4 [Vulgate 120:4] ecce non dormitabit neque dormiet qui custodiet Israhel(vulgate) 4 ׃121 הִנֵּ֣ה לֹֽא־יָ֭נוּם וְלֹ֣א יִישָׁ֑ן שׁ֝וֹמֵ֗ר יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Psalms Psa 121:4 Siehe, der Hüter Israels schläft noch schlummert nicht.(dhs) Psa 121:4 Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 121:5 ============ Psa 121:5 The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade on your right hand.(nas) Psa 121:5 κύριος φυλάξει σε κύριος σκέπη σου ἐπὶ χεῖρα δεξιάν σου (lxx) Psa 121:5 [Vulgate 120:5] Dominus custodiet te Dominus protectio tua super manum dexteram tuam(vulgate) 5 ׃121 יְהוָ֥ה שֹׁמְרֶ֑ךָ יְהוָ֥ה צִ֝לְּךָ֗ עַל־יַ֥ד יְמִינֶֽךָ׃ Psalms Psa 121:5 Der HERR behütet dich; der HERR ist dein Schatten über deiner rechten Hand,(dhs) Psa 121:5 The Lord is your keeper; The Lord is your shade at your right hand.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 121:6 ============ Psa 121:6 The sun will not smite you by day, Nor the moon by night.(nas) Psa 121:6 ἡμέρας ὁ ἥλιος οὐ συγκαύσει σε οὐδὲ ἡ σελήνη τὴν νύκτα (lxx) Psa 121:6 [Vulgate 120:6] per diem sol non percutiet te neque luna per noctem(vulgate) 6 ׃121 יוֹמָ֗ם הַשֶּׁ֥מֶשׁ לֹֽא־יַכֶּ֗כָּה וְיָרֵ֥חַ בַּלָּֽיְלָה׃ Psalms Psa 121:6 daß dich des Tages die Sonne nicht steche noch der Mond des Nachts.(dhs) Psa 121:6 The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 121:7 ============ Psa 121:7 The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul.(nas) Psa 121:7 κύριος φυλάξει σε ἀπὸ παντὸς κακοῦ φυλάξει τὴν ψυχήν σου (lxx) Psa 121:7 [Vulgate 120:7] Dominus custodiet te ab omni malo custodiat animam tuam(vulgate) 7 ׃121 יְֽהוָ֗ה יִשְׁמָרְךָ֥ מִכָּל־רָ֑ע יִ֝שְׁמֹ֗ר אֶת־נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃ Psalms Psa 121:7 Der HERR behüte dich vor allem Übel, er behüte deine Seele;(dhs) Psa 121:7 The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 121:8 ============ Psa 121:8 The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in From this time forth and forever.(nas) Psa 121:8 κύριος φυλάξει τὴν εἴσοδόν σου καὶ τὴν ἔξοδόν σου ἀπὸ τοῦ νῦν καὶ ἕως τοῦ αἰῶνος (lxx) Psa 121:8 [Vulgate 120:8] Dominus custodiat exitum tuum et introitum tuum amodo et usque in aeternum(vulgate) 8 ׃121 יְֽהוָ֗ה יִשְׁמָר־צֵאתְךָ֥ וּבוֹאֶ֑ךָ מֵֽ֝עַתָּ֗ה וְעַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ Psalms Psa 121:8 der HERR behüte deinen Ausgang und Eingang von nun an bis in Ewigkeit.(dhs) Psa 121:8 The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.(nkjv) ======= Psalm 122:1 ============ top of the page
