Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 62:1 ============ Isa 62:1 For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, And for Jerusalem's sake I will not keep quiet, Until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, And her salvation like a torch that is burning.(nas) Isa 62:1 διὰ Σιων οὐ σιωπήσομαι καὶ διὰ Ιερουσαλημ οὐκ ἀνήσω ἕως ἂν ἐξέλθῃ ὡς φῶς ἡ δικαιοσύνη μου τὸ δὲ σωτήριόν μου ὡς λαμπὰς καυθήσεται (lxx) Isa 62:1 [Propter Sion non tacebo, et propter Jerusalem non quiescam, donec egrediatur ut splendor justus ejus, et salvator ejus ut lampas accendatur.(vulgate) 1 ׃62 לְמַ֤עַן צִיּוֹן֙ לֹ֣א אֶחֱשֶׁ֔ה וּלְמַ֥עַן יְרוּשָׁלַ֖͏ִם לֹ֣א אֶשְׁק֑וֹט עַד־יֵצֵ֤א כַנֹּ֙גַהּ֙ צִדְקָ֔הּ וִישׁוּעָתָ֖הּ כְּלַפִּ֥יד יִבְעָֽר׃ Isaiah Isa 62:1 Um Zions willen will ich nicht schweigen, und um Jerusalems willen will ich nicht innehalten, bis daß ihre Gerechtigkeit aufgehe wie ein Glanz und ihr Heil entbrenne wie eine Fackel,(dhs) Isa 62:1 For Zion's sake I will not hold My peace, And for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, And her salvation as a lamp that burns.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 62:2 ============ Isa 62:2 The nations will see your righteousness, And all kings your glory; And you will be called by a new name Which the mouth of the Lord will designate.(nas) Isa 62:2 καὶ ὄψονται ἔθνη τὴν δικαιοσύνην σου καὶ βασιλεῖς τὴν δόξαν σου καὶ καλέσει σε τὸ ὄνομά σου τὸ καινόν ὃ ὁ κύριος ὀνομάσει αὐτό (lxx) Isa 62:2 Et videbunt gentes justum tuum, et cuncti reges inclytum tuum; et vocabitur tibi nomen novum, quod os Domini nominabit.(vulgate) 2 ׃62 וְרָא֤וּ גוֹיִם֙ צִדְקֵ֔ךְ וְכָל־מְלָכִ֖ים כְּבוֹדֵ֑ךְ וְקֹ֤רָא לָךְ֙ שֵׁ֣ם חָדָ֔שׁ אֲשֶׁ֛ר פִּ֥י יְהוָ֖ה יִקֳּבֶֽנּוּ׃ Isaiah Isa 62:2 daß die Heiden sehen deine Gerechtigkeit und alle Könige deine Herrlichkeit; und du sollst mit einem neuen Namen genannt werden, welchen des HERRN Mund nennen wird.(dhs) Isa 62:2 The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, And all kings your glory. You shall be called by a new name, Which the mouth of the Lord will name.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 62:3 ============ Isa 62:3 You will also be a crown of beauty in the hand of the Lord, And a royal diadem in the hand of your God.(nas) Isa 62:3 καὶ ἔσῃ στέφανος κάλλους ἐν χειρὶ κυρίου καὶ διάδημα βασιλείας ἐν χειρὶ θεοῦ σου (lxx) Isa 62:3 Et eris corona gloriæ in manu Domini, et diadema regni in manu Dei tui.(vulgate) 3 ׃62 וְהָיִ֛יתְ עֲטֶ֥רֶת תִּפְאֶ֖רֶת בְּיַד־יְהוָ֑ה *וצנוף **וּצְנִ֥יף מְלוּכָ֖ה בְּכַף־אֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃ Isaiah Isa 62:3 Und du wirst sein eine schöne Krone in der Hand des HERRN und ein königlicher Hut in der Hand deines Gottes.(dhs) Isa 62:3 You shall also be a crown of glory In the hand of the Lord, And a royal diadem In the hand of your God.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 62:4 ============ Isa 62:4 It will no longer be said to you," Forsaken," Nor to your land will it any longer be said, "Desolate"; But you will be called, "My delight is in her," And your land," Married"; For the Lord delights in you, And to Him your land will be married.(nas) Isa 62:4 καὶ οὐκέτι κληθήσῃ καταλελειμμένη καὶ ἡ γῆ σου οὐ κληθήσεται ἔρημος σοὶ γὰρ κληθήσεται θέλημα ἐμόν καὶ τῇ γῇ σου οἰκουμένη (lxx) Isa 62:4 Non vocaberis ultra Derelicta, et terra tua non vocabitur amplius Desolata; sed vocaberis, Voluntas mea in ea, et terra tua Inhabitata, quia complacuit Domino in te, et terra tua inhabitabitur.(vulgate) 4 ׃62 לֹֽא־יֵאָמֵר֩ לָ֨ךְ ע֜וֹד עֲזוּבָ֗ה וּלְאַרְצֵךְ֙ לֹא־יֵאָמֵ֥ר עוֹד֙ שְׁמָמָ֔ה כִּ֣י לָ֗ךְ יִקָּרֵא֙ חֶפְצִי־בָ֔הּ וּלְאַרְצֵ֖ךְ בְּעוּלָ֑ה כִּֽי־חָפֵ֤ץ יְהוָה֙ בָּ֔ךְ וְאַרְצֵ֖ךְ תִּבָּעֵֽל׃ Isaiah Isa 62:4 Man soll dich nicht mehr die Verlassene noch dein Land eine Verwüstung heißen; sondern du sollst "Meine Lust an ihr" und dein Land "Liebes Weib" heißen: denn der HERR hat Lust an dir und dein Land hat einen lieben Mann.(dhs) Isa 62:4 You shall no longer be termed Forsaken, Nor shall your land any more be termed Desolate; But you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; For the Lord delights in you, And your land shall be married.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 62:5 ============ Isa 62:5 For as a young man marries a virgin, So your sons will marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So your God will rejoice over you.(nas) Isa 62:5 καὶ ὡς συνοικῶν νεανίσκος παρθένῳ οὕτως κατοικήσουσιν οἱ υἱοί σου μετὰ σοῦ καὶ ἔσται ὃν τρόπον εὐφρανθήσεται νυμφίος ἐπὶ νύμφῃ οὕτως εὐφρανθήσεται κύριος ἐπὶ σοί (lxx) Isa 62:5 Habitabit enim juvenis cum virgine, et habitabunt in te filii tui; et gaudebit sponsus super sponsam, et gaudebit super te Deus tuus.(vulgate) 5 ׃62 כִּֽי־יִבְעַ֤ל בָּחוּר֙ בְּתוּלָ֔ה יִבְעָל֖וּךְ בָּנָ֑יִךְ וּמְשׂ֤וֹשׂ חָתָן֙ עַל־כַּלָּ֔ה יָשִׂ֥ישׂ עָלַ֖יִךְ אֱלֹהָֽיִךְ׃ Isaiah Isa 62:5 Denn wie ein Mann ein Weib liebhat, so werden dich deine Kinder liebhaben; und wie sich ein Bräutigam freut über die Braut, so wird sich dein Gott über dich freuen.(dhs) Isa 62:5 For as a young man marries a virgin, So shall your sons marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, So shall your God rejoice over you.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 62:6 ============ Isa 62:6 On your walls, O Jerusalem, I have appointed watchmen; All day and all night they will never keep silent. You who remind the Lord, take no rest for yourselves;(nas) Isa 62:6 καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν τειχέων σου Ιερουσαλημ κατέστησα φύλακας ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν καὶ ὅλην τὴν νύκτα οἳ διὰ τέλους οὐ σιωπήσονται μιμνῃσκόμενοι κυρίου (lxx) Isa 62:6 Super muros tuos, Jerusalem, constitui custodes; tota die et tota nocte in perpetuum non tacebunt. Qui reminiscimini Domini, ne taceatis,(vulgate) 6 ׃62 עַל־חוֹמֹתַ֣יִךְ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם הִפְקַ֙דְתִּי֙ שֹֽׁמְרִ֔ים כָּל־הַיּ֧וֹם וְכָל־הַלַּ֛יְלָה תָּמִ֖יד לֹ֣א יֶחֱשׁ֑וּ הַמַּזְכִּרִים֙ אֶת־יְהוָ֔ה אַל־דֳּמִ֖י לָכֶֽם׃ Isaiah Isa 62:6 O Jerusalem, ich will Wächter auf deine Mauern bestellen, die den ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht nimmer stillschweigen sollen und die des HERRN gedenken sollen, auf daß bei euch kein Schweigen sei(dhs) Isa 62:6 I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent,(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 62:7 ============ Isa 62:7 And give Him no rest until He establishes And makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.(nas) Isa 62:7 οὐκ ἔστιν γὰρ ὑμῖν ὅμοιος ἐὰν διορθώσῃ καὶ ποιήσῃ Ιερουσαλημ ἀγαυρίαμα ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς (lxx) Isa 62:7 et ne detis silentium ei, donec stabiliat et donec ponat Jerusalem laudem in terra.(vulgate) 7 ׃62 וְאַֽל־תִּתְּנ֥וּ דֳמִ֖י ל֑וֹ עַד־יְכוֹנֵ֞ן וְעַד־יָשִׂ֧ים אֶת־יְרֽוּשָׁלַ֛͏ִם תְּהִלָּ֖ה בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ Isaiah Isa 62:7 und ihr von ihm nicht schweiget, bis daß Jerusalem zugerichtet und gesetzt werde zum Lobe auf Erden.(dhs) Isa 62:7 And give Him no rest till He establishes And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 62:8 ============ Isa 62:8 The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by His strong arm," I will never again give your grain as food for your enemies; Nor will foreigners drink your new wine for which you have labored."(nas) Isa 62:8 ὤμοσεν κύριος κατὰ τῆς δεξιᾶς αὐτοῦ καὶ κατὰ τῆς ἰσχύος τοῦ βραχίονος αὐτοῦ εἰ ἔτι δώσω τὸν σῖτόν σου καὶ τὰ βρώματά σου τοῖς ἐχθροῖς σου καὶ εἰ ἔτι πίονται υἱοὶ ἀλλότριοι τὸν οἶνόν σου ἐφ᾽ ᾧ ἐμόχθησας (lxx) Isa 62:8 Juravit Dominus in dextera sua, et in brachio fortitudinis suæ: Si dedero triticum tuum ultra cibum inimicis tuis; et si biberint filii alieni vinum tuum in quo laborasti.(vulgate) 8 ׃62 נִשְׁבַּ֧ע יְהוָ֛ה בִּֽימִינ֖וֹ וּבִזְר֣וֹעַ עֻזּ֑וֹ אִם־אֶתֵּן֩ אֶת־דְּגָנֵ֨ךְ ע֤וֹד מַֽאֲכָל֙ לְאֹ֣יְבַ֔יִךְ וְאִם־יִשְׁתּ֤וּ בְנֵֽי־נֵכָר֙ תִּֽירוֹשֵׁ֔ךְ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יָגַ֖עַתְּ בּֽוֹ׃ Isaiah Isa 62:8 Der HERR hat geschworen bei seiner Rechten und bei dem Arm seiner Macht: Ich will dein Getreide nicht mehr deinen Feinden zu essen geben, noch deinen Most, daran du gearbeitet hast, die Fremden trinken lassen;(dhs) Isa 62:8 The Lord has sworn by His right hand And by the arm of His strength: "Surely I will no longer give your grain As food for your enemies; And the sons of the foreigner shall not drink your new wine, For which you have labored.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 62:9 ============ Isa 62:9 But those who garner it will eat it and praise the Lord; And those who gather it will drink it in the courts of My sanctuary.(nas) Isa 62:9 ἀλλ᾽ ἢ οἱ συνάγοντες φάγονται αὐτὰ καὶ αἰνέσουσιν κύριον καὶ οἱ συνάγοντες πίονται αὐτὰ ἐν ταῖς ἐπαύλεσιν ταῖς ἁγίαις μου (lxx) Isa 62:9 Quia qui congregant illud, comedent, et laudabunt Dominum; et qui comportant illud, bibent in atriis sanctis meis.(vulgate) 9 ׃62 כִּ֤י מְאַסְפָיו֙ יֹאכְלֻ֔הוּ וְהִֽלְל֖וּ אֶת־יְהוָ֑ה וּֽמְקַבְּצָ֥יו יִשְׁתֻּ֖הוּ בְּחַצְר֥וֹת קָדְשִֽׁי׃ ס Isaiah Isa 62:9 sondern die, so es einsammeln, sollen's auch essen und den HERRN rühmen, und die ihn einbringen, sollen ihn trinken in den Vorhöfen meines Heiligtums.(dhs) Isa 62:9 But those who have gathered it shall eat it, And praise the Lord; Those who have brought it together shall drink it in My holy courts."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 62:10 ============ Isa 62:10 Go through, go through the gates, Clear the way for the people; Build up, build up the highway, Remove the stones, lift up a standard over the peoples.(nas) Isa 62:10 πορεύεσθε διὰ τῶν πυλῶν μου καὶ ὁδοποιήσατε τῷ λαῷ μου καὶ τοὺς λίθους τοὺς ἐκ τῆς ὁδοῦ διαρρίψατε ἐξάρατε σύσσημον εἰς τὰ ἔθνη (lxx) Isa 62:10 Transite, transite per portas, præparate viam populo: planum facite iter, eligite lapides, et elevate signum ad populos.(vulgate) 10 ׃62 עִבְר֤וּ עִבְרוּ֙ בַּשְּׁעָרִ֔ים פַּנּ֖וּ דֶּ֣רֶךְ הָעָ֑ם סֹ֣לּוּ סֹ֤לּוּ הַֽמְסִלָּה֙ סַקְּל֣וּ מֵאֶ֔בֶן הָרִ֥ימוּ נֵ֖ס עַל־הָעַמִּֽים׃ Isaiah Isa 62:10 Gehet hin, gehet hin durch die Tore! bereitet dem Volk den Weg! machet Bahn, machet Bahn! räumet die Steine hinweg! werft ein Panier auf über die Völker!(dhs) Isa 62:10 Go through, Go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; Build up, Build up the highway! Take out the stones, Lift up a banner for the peoples!(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 62:11 ============ Isa 62:11 Behold, the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the earth, Say to the daughter of Zion," Lo, your salvation comes; Behold His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him."(nas) Isa 62:11 ἰδοὺ γὰρ κύριος ἐποίησεν ἀκουστὸν ἕως ἐσχάτου τῆς γῆς εἴπατε τῇ θυγατρὶ Σιων ἰδού σοι ὁ σωτὴρ παραγίνεται ἔχων τὸν ἑαυτοῦ μισθὸν καὶ τὸ ἔργον πρὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ (lxx) Isa 62:11 Ecce Dominus auditum fecit in extremis terræ: Dicite filiæ Sion: Ecce Salvator tuus venit; ecce merces ejus cum eo, et opus ejus coram illo.(vulgate) 11 ׃62 הִנֵּ֣ה יְהוָ֗ה הִשְׁמִ֙יעַ֙ אֶל־קְצֵ֣ה הָאָ֔רֶץ אִמְרוּ֙ לְבַת־צִיּ֔וֹן הִנֵּ֥ה יִשְׁעֵ֖ךְ בָּ֑א הִנֵּ֤ה שְׂכָרוֹ֙ אִתּ֔וֹ וּפְעֻלָּת֖וֹ לְפָנָֽיו׃ Isaiah Isa 62:11 Siehe, der HERR läßt sich hören bis an der Welt Ende: Saget der Tochter Zion: Siehe, dein Heil kommt! siehe, sein Lohn ist bei ihm, und seine Vergeltung ist vor ihm!(dhs) Isa 62:11 Indeed the Lord has proclaimed To the end of the world: "Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Surely your salvation is coming; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His work before Him.'
