Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 28:1 ============ Eze 28:1 The word of the Lord came again to me, saying,(nas) Eze 28:1 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (lxx) Eze 28:1 Et factus est sermo Domini ad me, dicens:(vulgate) 1 ׃28 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:1 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:(dhs) Eze 28:1 The word of the Lord came to me again, saying,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:2 ============ Eze 28:2 "Son of man, say to the leader of Tyre, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Because your heart is lifted up And you have said, 'I am a god, I sit in the seat of gods In the heart of the seas'; Yet you are a man and not God, Although you make your heart like the heart of God"(nas) Eze 28:2 καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου εἰπὸν τῷ ἄρχοντι Τύρου τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ὑψώθη σου ἡ καρδία καὶ εἶπας θεός εἰμι ἐγώ κατοικίαν θεοῦ κατῴκηκα ἐν καρδίᾳ θαλάσσης σὺ δὲ εἶ ἄνθρωπος καὶ οὐ θεὸς καὶ ἔδωκας τὴν καρδίαν σου ὡς καρδίαν θεοῦ (lxx) Eze 28:2 Fili hominis, dic principi Tyri: [Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Eo quod elevatum est cor tuum, et dixisti: Deus ego sum, et in cathedra Dei sedi in corde maris, cum sis homo, et non deus: et dedisti cor tuum quasi cor Dei:(vulgate) 2 ׃28 בֶּן־אָדָ֡ם אֱמֹר֩ לִנְגִ֨יד צֹ֜ר כֹּֽה־אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהֹוִ֗ה יַ֣עַן גָּבַ֤הּ לִבְּךָ֙ וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֵ֣ל אָ֔נִי מוֹשַׁ֧ב אֱלֹהִ֛ים יָשַׁ֖בְתִּי בְּלֵ֣ב יַמִּ֑ים וְאַתָּ֤ה אָדָם֙ וְֽלֹא־אֵ֔ל וַתִּתֵּ֥ן לִבְּךָ֖ כְּלֵ֥ב אֱלֹהִֽים׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:2 Du Menschenkind, sage dem Fürsten zu Tyrus: So spricht der HERR HERR: Darum daß sich dein Herz erhebt und spricht: "Ich bin Gott, ich sitze auf dem Thron Gottes mitten im Meer", so du doch ein Mensch und nicht Gott bist, doch erhebt sich dein Herz, als wäre es eines Gottes Herz:(dhs) Eze 28:2 "Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Because your heart is lifted up, And you say, 'I am a god, I sit in the seat of gods, In the midst of the seas,' Yet you are a man, and not a god, Though you set your heart as the heart of a god(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:3 ============ Eze 28:3 Behold, you are wiser than Daniel; There is no secret that is a match for you.(nas) Eze 28:3 μὴ σοφώτερος εἶ σὺ τοῦ Δανιηλ σοφοὶ οὐκ ἐπαίδευσάν σε τῇ ἐπιστήμῃ αὐτῶν (lxx) Eze 28:3 ecce sapientior es tu Daniele: omne secretum non est absconditum a te:(vulgate) 3 ׃28 הִנֵּ֥ה חָכָ֛ם אַתָּ֖ה *מדנאל **מִדָּֽנִיֵּ֑אל כָּל־סָת֖וּם לֹ֥א עֲמָמֽוּךָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:3 siehe, du hältst dich für klüger denn Daniel, daß dir nichts verborgen sei(dhs) Eze 28:3 (Behold, you are wiser than Daniel! There is no secret that can be hidden from you!(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:4 ============ Eze 28:4 "By your wisdom and understanding You have acquired riches for yourself And have acquired gold and silver for your treasuries.(nas) Eze 28:4 μὴ ἐν τῇ ἐπιστήμῃ σου ἢ ἐν τῇ φρονήσει σου ἐποίησας σεαυτῷ δύναμιν καὶ χρυσίον καὶ ἀργύριον ἐν τοῖς θησαυροῖς σου (lxx) Eze 28:4 in sapientia et prudentia tua fecisti tibi fortitudinem, et acquisisti aurum et argentum in thesauris tuis:(vulgate) 4 ׃28 בְּחָכְמָֽתְךָ֙ וּבִתְבוּנָ֣תְךָ֔ עָשִׂ֥יתָ לְּךָ֖ חָ֑יִל וַתַּ֛עַשׂ זָהָ֥ב וָכֶ֖סֶף בְּאוֹצְרוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:4 und habest durch deine Klugheit und deinen Verstand solche Macht zuwege gebracht und Schätze von Gold und Silber gesammelt(dhs) Eze 28:4 With your wisdom and your understanding You have gained riches for yourself, And gathered gold and silver into your treasuries;(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:5 ============ Eze 28:5 "By your great wisdom, by your trade You have increased your riches And your heart is lifted up because of your riches"(nas) Eze 28:5 ἐν τῇ πολλῇ ἐπιστήμῃ σου καὶ ἐμπορίᾳ σου ἐπλήθυνας δύναμίν σου ὑψώθη ἡ καρδία σου ἐν τῇ δυνάμει σου (lxx) Eze 28:5 in multitudine sapientiæ tuæ, et in negotiatione tua multiplicasti tibi fortitudinem, et elevatum est cor tuum in robore tuo:(vulgate) 5 ׃28 בְּרֹ֧ב חָכְמָתְךָ֛ בִּרְכֻלָּתְךָ֖ הִרְבִּ֣יתָ חֵילֶ֑ךָ וַיִּגְבַּ֥הּ לְבָבְךָ֖ בְּחֵילֶֽךָ׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 28:5 und habest durch deine große Weisheit und Hantierung so große Macht überkommen; davon bist du so stolz geworden, daß du so mächtig bist;(dhs) Eze 28:5 By your great wisdom in trade you have increased your riches, And your heart is lifted up because of your riches),"(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:6 ============ Eze 28:6 Therefore thus says the Lord God, 'Because you have made your heart Like the heart of God,(nas) Eze 28:6 διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐπειδὴ δέδωκας τὴν καρδίαν σου ὡς καρδίαν θεοῦ (lxx) Eze 28:6 propterea hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Eo quod elevatum est cor tuum quasi cor dei,(vulgate) 6 ׃28 לָכֵ֕ן כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה יַ֛עַן תִּתְּךָ֥ אֶת־לְבָבְךָ֖ כְּלֵ֥ב אֱלֹהִֽים׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:6 darum spricht der HERR HERR also: Weil sich denn dein Herz erhebt, als wäre es eines Gottes Herz,(dhs) Eze 28:6 'Therefore thus says the Lord God: "Because you have set your heart as the heart of a god,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:7 ============ Eze 28:7 Therefore, behold, I will bring strangers upon you, The most ruthless of the nations. And they will draw their swords Against the beauty of your wisdom And defile your splendor.(nas) Eze 28:7 ἀντὶ τούτου ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπάγω ἐπὶ σὲ ἀλλοτρίους λοιμοὺς ἀπὸ ἐθνῶν καὶ ἐκκενώσουσιν τὰς μαχαίρας αὐτῶν ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ κάλλος τῆς ἐπιστήμης σου καὶ στρώσουσιν τὸ κάλλος σου εἰς ἀπώλειαν (lxx) Eze 28:7 idcirco ecce ego adducam super te alienos, robustissimos gentium: et nudabunt gladios suos super pulchritudinem sapientiæ tuæ, et polluent decorem tuum.(vulgate) 7 ׃28 לָכֵ֗ן הִנְנִ֨י מֵבִ֤יא עָלֶ֙יךָ֙ זָרִ֔ים עָרִיצֵ֖י גּוֹיִ֑ם וְהֵרִ֤יקוּ חַרְבוֹתָם֙ עַל־יְפִ֣י חָכְמָתֶ֔ךָ וְחִלְּל֖וּ יִפְעָתֶֽךָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:7 darum, siehe, ich will Fremde über dich schicken, nämlich die Tyrannen der Heiden; die sollen ihr Schwert zücken über deine schöne Weisheit und deine große Ehre zu Schanden machen.(dhs) Eze 28:7 Behold, therefore, I will bring strangers against you, The most terrible of the nations; And they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, And defile your splendor.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:8 ============ Eze 28:8 'They will bring you down to the pit, And you will die the death of those who are slain In the heart of the seas.(nas) Eze 28:8 καὶ καταβιβάσουσίν σε καὶ ἀποθανῇ θανάτῳ τραυματιῶν ἐν καρδίᾳ θαλάσσης (lxx) Eze 28:8 Interficient, et detrahent te: et morieris in interitu occisorum in corde maris.(vulgate) 8 ׃28 לַשַּׁ֖חַת יֽוֹרִד֑וּךָ וָמַ֛תָּה מְמוֹתֵ֥י חָלָ֖ל בְּלֵ֥ב יַמִּֽים׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:8 Sie sollen dich hinunter in die Grube stoßen, daß du mitten auf dem Meer stirbst wie die Erschlagenen.(dhs) Eze 28:8 They shall throw you down into the Pit, And you shall die the death of the slain In the midst of the seas.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:9 ============ Eze 28:9 'Will you still say, "I am a god," In the presence of your slayer, Though you are a man and not God, In the hands of those who wound you?(nas) Eze 28:9 μὴ λέγων ἐρεῖς θεός εἰμι ἐγώ ἐνώπιον τῶν ἀναιρούντων σε σὺ δὲ εἶ ἄνθρωπος καὶ οὐ θεός ἐν πλήθει (lxx) Eze 28:9 Numquid dicens loqueris: Deus ego sum, coram interficientibus te, cum sis homo, et non deus, in manu occidentium te?(vulgate) 9 ׃28 הֶאָמֹ֤ר תֹּאמַר֙ אֱלֹהִ֣ים אָ֔נִי לִפְנֵ֖י הֹֽרְגֶ֑ךָ וְאַתָּ֥ה אָדָ֛ם וְלֹא־אֵ֖ל בְּיַ֥ד מְחַלְלֶֽיךָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:9 Was gilt's, ob du dann vor deinem Totschläger wirst sagen: "Ich bin Gott", so du doch nicht Gott, sondern ein Mensch und in deiner Totschläger Hand bist?(dhs) Eze 28:9 "Will you still say before him who slays you, 'I am a god'? But you shall be a man, and not a god, In the hand of him who slays you.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:10 ============ Eze 28:10 'You will die the death of the uncircumcised By the hand of strangers, For I have spoken!' declares the Lord God!"'"(nas) Eze 28:10 ἀπεριτμήτων ἀπολῇ ἐν χερσὶν ἀλλοτρίων ὅτι ἐγὼ ἐλάλησα λέγει κύριος (lxx) Eze 28:10 Morte incircumcisorum morieris in manu alienorum, quia ego locutus sum, ait Dominus Deus.]~(vulgate) 10 ׃28 מוֹתֵ֧י עֲרֵלִ֛ים תָּמ֖וּת בְּיַד־זָרִ֑ים כִּ֚י אֲנִ֣י דִבַּ֔רְתִּי נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 28:10 Du sollst sterben wie die Unbeschnittenen von der Hand der Fremden; denn ich habe es geredet, spricht der HERR HERR.(dhs) Eze 28:10 You shall die the death of the uncircumcised By the hand of aliens; For I have spoken," says the Lord God.' "(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:11 ============ Eze 28:11 Again the word of the Lord came to me saying,(nas) Eze 28:11 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (lxx) Eze 28:11 Et factus est sermo Domini ad me, dicens: Fili hominis, leva planctum super regem Tyri,(vulgate) 11 ׃28 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֶאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:11 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:(dhs) Eze 28:11 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:12 ============ Eze 28:12 "Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre and say to him, 'Thus says the Lord God, "You had the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.(nas) Eze 28:12 υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου λαβὲ θρῆνον ἐπὶ τὸν ἄρχοντα Τύρου καὶ εἰπὸν αὐτῷ τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος σὺ ἀποσφράγισμα ὁμοιώσεως καὶ στέφανος κάλλους (lxx) Eze 28:12 et dices ei: [Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Tu signaculum similitudinis, plenus sapientia, et perfectus decore.(vulgate) 12 ׃28 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם שָׂ֥א קִינָ֖ה עַל־מֶ֣לֶךְ צ֑וֹר וְאָמַ֣רְתָּ לּ֗וֹ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה אַתָּה֙ חוֹתֵ֣ם תָּכְנִ֔ית מָלֵ֥א חָכְמָ֖ה וּכְלִ֥יל יֹֽפִי׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:12 Du Menschenkind, mache eine Wehklage über den König zu Tyrus und sprich von Ihm: So spricht der HERR HERR: Du bist ein reinliches Siegel, voller Weisheit und aus der Maßen schön.(dhs) Eze 28:12 "Son of man, take up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, and say to him, 'Thus says the Lord God: "You were the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:13 ============ Eze 28:13 "You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The ruby, the topaz and the diamond; The beryl, the onyx and the jasper; The lapis lazuli, the turquoise and the emerald; And the gold, the workmanship of your settings and sockets, Was in you. On the day that you were created They were prepared.(nas) Eze 28:13 ἐν τῇ τρυφῇ τοῦ παραδείσου τοῦ θεοῦ ἐγενήθης πᾶν λίθον χρηστὸν ἐνδέδεσαι σάρδιον καὶ τοπάζιον καὶ σμάραγδον καὶ ἄνθρακα καὶ σάπφειρον καὶ ἴασπιν καὶ ἀργύριον καὶ χρυσίον καὶ λιγύριον καὶ ἀχάτην καὶ ἀμέθυστον καὶ χρυσόλιθον καὶ βηρύλλιον καὶ ὀνύχιον καὶ χρυσίου ἐνέπλησας τοὺς θησαυρούς σου καὶ τὰς ἀποθήκας σου ἐν σοὶ ἀφ᾽ ἧς ἡμέρας ἐκτίσθης σύ (lxx) Eze 28:13 In deliciis paradisi Dei fuisti: omnis lapis pretiosus operimentum tuum, sardius, topazius, et jaspis, chrysolithus, et onyx, et beryllus, sapphirus, et carbunculus, et smaragdus: aurum, opus decoris tui: et foramina tua, in die qua conditus es, præparata sunt.(vulgate) 13 ׃28 בְּעֵ֨דֶן גַּן־אֱלֹהִ֜ים הָיִ֗יתָ כָּל־אֶ֨בֶן יְקָרָ֤ה מְסֻכָתֶ֙ךָ֙ אֹ֣דֶם פִּטְדָ֞ה וְיָהֲלֹ֗ם תַּרְשִׁ֥ישׁ שֹׁ֙הַם֙ וְיָ֣שְׁפֵ֔ה סַפִּ֣יר נֹ֔פֶךְ וּבָרְקַ֖ת וְזָהָ֑ב מְלֶ֨אכֶת תֻּפֶּ֤יךָ וּנְקָבֶ֙יךָ֙ בָּ֔ךְ בְּי֥וֹם הִבָּרַאֲךָ֖ כּוֹנָֽנוּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:13 Du bist im Lustgarten Gottes und mit allerlei Edelsteinen geschmückt: mit Sarder, Topas, Demant, Türkis, Onyx, Jaspis, Saphir, Amethyst, Smaragd und Gold. Am Tage, da du geschaffen wurdest, mußten da bereitet sein bei dir deine Pauken und Pfeifen.(dhs) Eze 28:13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes Was prepared for you on the day you were created.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:14 ============ Eze 28:14 "You were the anointed cherub who covers, And I placed you there. You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked in the midst of the stones of fire.(nas) Eze 28:14 μετὰ τοῦ χερουβ ἔθηκά σε ἐν ὄρει ἁγίῳ θεοῦ ἐγενήθης ἐν μέσῳ λίθων πυρίνων (lxx) Eze 28:14 Tu cherub extentus, et protegens, et posui te in monte sancto Dei: in medio lapidum ignitorum ambulasti,(vulgate) 14 ׃28 אַ֨תְּ־כְּר֔וּב מִמְשַׁ֖ח הַסּוֹכֵ֑ךְ וּנְתַתִּ֗יךָ בְּהַ֨ר קֹ֤דֶשׁ אֱלֹהִים֙ הָיִ֔יתָ בְּת֥וֹךְ אַבְנֵי־אֵ֖שׁ הִתְהַלָּֽכְתָּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:14 Du bist wie ein Cherub, der sich weit ausbreitet und decket; und ich habe dich auf den heiligen Berg Gottes gesetzt, daß du unter den feurigen Steinen wandelst.(dhs) Eze 28:14 "You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:15 ============ Eze 28:15 "You were blameless in your ways From the day you were created Until unrighteousness was found in you.(nas) Eze 28:15 ἐγενήθης ἄμωμος σὺ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις σου ἀφ᾽ ἧς ἡμέρας σὺ ἐκτίσθης ἕως εὑρέθη τὰ ἀδικήματα ἐν σοί (lxx) Eze 28:15 perfectus in viis tuis a die conditionis tuæ, donec inventa est iniquitas in te.(vulgate) 15 ׃28 תָּמִ֤ים אַתָּה֙ בִּדְרָכֶ֔יךָ מִיּ֖וֹם הִבָּֽרְאָ֑ךְ עַד־נִמְצָ֥א עַוְלָ֖תָה בָּֽךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:15 Du warst ohne Tadel in deinem Tun von dem Tage an, da du geschaffen wurdest, bis sich deine Missetat gefunden hat.(dhs) Eze 28:15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:16 ============ Eze 28:16 "By the abundance of your trade You were internally filled with violence, And you sinned; Therefore I have cast you as profane From the mountain of God. And I have destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the stones of fire.(nas) Eze 28:16 ἀπὸ πλήθους τῆς ἐμπορίας σου ἔπλησας τὰ ταμίειά σου ἀνομίας καὶ ἥμαρτες καὶ ἐτραυματίσθης ἀπὸ ὄρους τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ ἤγαγέν σε τὸ χερουβ ἐκ μέσου λίθων πυρίνων (lxx) Eze 28:16 In multitudine negotiationis tuæ repleta sunt interiora tua iniquitate, et peccasti: et ejeci te de monte Dei, et perdidi te, o cherub protegens, de medio lapidum ignitorum.(vulgate) 16 ׃28 בְּרֹ֣ב רְכֻּ[t]לָּתְךָ֗ מָל֧וּ תוֹכְךָ֛ חָמָ֖ס וַֽתֶּחֱטָ֑א וָאֶחַלֶּלְךָ֩ מֵהַ֨ר אֱלֹהִ֤ים וָֽאַבֶּדְךָ֙ כְּר֣וּב הַסֹּכֵ֔ךְ מִתּ֖וֹךְ אַבְנֵי־אֵֽשׁ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:16 Denn du bist inwendig voll Frevels geworden vor deiner großen Hantierung und hast dich versündigt. Darum will ich dich entheiligen von dem Berge Gottes und will dich ausgebreiteten Cherub aus den feurigen Steinen verstoßen.(dhs) Eze 28:16 "By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within, And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:17 ============ Eze 28:17 "Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor. I cast you to the ground; I put you before kings, That they may see you.(nas) Eze 28:17 ὑψώθη ἡ καρδία σου ἐπὶ τῷ κάλλει σου διεφθάρη ἡ ἐπιστήμη σου μετὰ τοῦ κάλλους σου διὰ πλῆθος ἁμαρτιῶν σου ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ἔρριψά σε ἐναντίον βασιλέων ἔδωκά σε παραδειγματισθῆναι (lxx) Eze 28:17 Et elevatum est cor tuum in decore tuo; perdidisti sapientiam tuam in decore tuo: in terram projeci te; ante faciem regum dedi te ut cernerent te.(vulgate) 17 ׃28 גָּבַ֤הּ לִבְּךָ֙ בְּיָפְיֶ֔ךָ שִׁחַ֥תָּ חָכְמָתְךָ֖ עַל־יִפְעָתֶ֑ךָ עַל־אֶ֣רֶץ הִשְׁלַכְתִּ֗יךָ לִפְנֵ֧י מְלָכִ֛ים נְתַתִּ֖יךָ לְרַ֥אֲוָה בָֽךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:17 Und weil sich dein Herz erhebt, daß du so schön bist, und hast dich deine Klugheit lassen betrügen in deiner Pracht, darum will ich dich zu Boden stürzen und ein Schauspiel aus dir machen vor den Königen.(dhs) Eze 28:17 "Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:18 ============ Eze 28:18 "By the multitude of your iniquities, In the unrighteousness of your trade You profaned your sanctuaries. Then they will know that I am the Lord when I execute judgments in her, And I will manifest My holiness in her.(nas) Eze 28:22 καὶ εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ σέ Σιδών καὶ ἐνδοξασθήσομαι ἐν σοί καὶ γνώσῃ ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἐν τῷ ποιῆσαί με ἐν σοὶ κρίματα καὶ ἁγιασθήσομαι ἐν σοί (lxx) Eze 28:22 et dices: [Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Ecce ego ad te, Sidon, et glorificabor in medio tui: et scient quia ego Dominus, cum fecero in ea judicia, et sanctificatus fuero in ea.(vulgate) 22 ׃28 וְאָמַרְתָּ֗ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֤י עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ צִיד֔וֹן וְנִכְבַּדְתִּ֖י בְּתוֹכֵ֑ךְ וְֽיָדְע֞וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֗ה בַּעֲשׂ֥וֹתִי בָ֛הּ שְׁפָטִ֖ים וְנִקְדַּ֥שְׁתִּי בָֽהּ׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:22 und sprich: So spricht der HERR HERR: Siehe, ich will an dich, Sidon, und will an dir Ehre einlegen, daß man erfahren soll, daß ich der HERR bin, wenn ich das Recht über sie gehen lasse und an ihr erzeige, daß ich heilig sei.(dhs) Eze 28:22 and say, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Behold, I am against you, O Sidon; I will be glorified in your midst; And they shall know that I am the Lord, When I execute judgments in her and am hallowed in her.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:23 ============ Eze 28:23 "For I will send pestilence to her And blood to her streets, And the wounded will fall in her midst By the sword upon her on every side; Then they will know that I am the Lord.(nas) Eze 28:23 αἷμα καὶ θάνατος ἐν ταῖς πλατείαις σου καὶ πεσοῦνται τετραυματισμένοι ἐν μαχαίραις ἐν σοὶ περικύκλῳ σου καὶ γνώσονται διότι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος (lxx) Eze 28:23 Et immittam ei pestilentiam, et sanguinem in plateis ejus: et corruent interfecti in medio ejus gladio per circuitum, et scient quia ego Dominus.(vulgate) 23 ׃28 וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי־בָ֞הּ דֶּ֤בֶר וָדָם֙ בְּח֣וּצוֹתֶ֔יהָ וְנִפְלַ֤ל חָלָל֙ בְּתוֹכָ֔הּ בְּחֶ֥רֶב עָלֶ֖יהָ מִסָּבִ֑יב וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:23 Und ich will Pestilenz und Blutvergießen unter sie schicken auf ihren Gassen, und sie sollen tödlich verwundet drinnen fallen durchs Schwert, welches allenthalben über sie gehen wird; und sollen erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.(dhs) Eze 28:23 For I will send pestilence upon her, And blood in her streets; The wounded shall be judged in her midst By the sword against her on every side; Then they shall know that I am the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:24 ============ Eze 28:24 And there will be no more for the house of Israel a prickling brier or a painful thorn from any round about them who scorned them; then they will know that I am the Lord God."(nas) Eze 28:24 καὶ οὐκ ἔσονται οὐκέτι τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ Ισραηλ σκόλοψ πικρίας καὶ ἄκανθα ὀδύνης ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν περικύκλῳ αὐτῶν τῶν ἀτιμασάντων αὐτούς καὶ γνώσονται ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος (lxx) Eze 28:24 Et non erit ultra domui Israël offendiculum amaritudinis, et spina dolorem inferens undique per circuitum eorum qui adversantur eis: et scient quia ego Dominus Deus.(vulgate) 24 ׃28 וְלֹֽא־יִהְיֶ֨ה ע֜וֹד לְבֵ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל סִלּ֤וֹן מַמְאִיר֙ וְק֣וֹץ מַכְאִ֔ב מִכֹּל֙ סְבִ֣יבֹתָ֔ם הַשָּׁאטִ֖ים אוֹתָ֑ם וְיָ֣דְע֔וּ כִּ֥י אֲנִ֖י אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 28:24 Und forthin sollen allenthalben um das Haus Israel, da ihre Feinde sind, keine Dornen, die da stechen, noch Stacheln, die da wehe tun, bleiben, daß sie erfahren, daß ich der HERR HERR bin.(dhs) Eze 28:24 "And there shall no longer be a pricking brier or a painful thorn for the house of Israel from among all who are around them, who despise them. Then they shall know that I am the Lord God."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:25 ============ Eze 28:25 'Thus says the Lord God, "When I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and will manifest My holiness in them in the sight of the nations, then they will live in their land which I gave to My servant Jacob.(nas) Eze 28:25 τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος καὶ συνάξω τὸν Ισραηλ ἐκ τῶν ἐθνῶν οὗ διεσκορπίσθησαν ἐκεῖ καὶ ἁγιασθήσομαι ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐνώπιον τῶν λαῶν καὶ τῶν ἐθνῶν καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς αὐτῶν ἣν δέδωκα τῷ δούλῳ μου Ιακωβ (lxx) Eze 28:25 Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Quando congregavero domum Israël de populis in quibus dispersi sunt, sanctificabor in eis coram gentibus: et habitabunt in terra sua, quam dedi servo meo Jacob:(vulgate) 25 ׃28 כֹּֽה־אָמַר֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִה֒ בְּקַבְּצִ֣י ׀ אֶת־בֵּ֣ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל מִן־הָֽעַמִּים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נָפֹ֣צוּ בָ֔ם וְנִקְדַּ֥שְׁתִּי בָ֖ם לְעֵינֵ֣י הַגּוֹיִ֑ם וְיָֽשְׁבוּ֙ עַל־אַדְמָתָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר נָתַ֖תִּי לְעַבְדִּ֥י לְיַעֲקֹֽב׃ Ezekiel Eze 28:25 So spricht der HERR HERR: Wenn ich das Haus Israel wieder versammeln werde von den Völkern, dahin sie zerstreut sind, so will ich vor den Heiden an ihnen erzeigen, daß ich heilig bin. Und sie sollen wohnen in ihrem Lande, das ich meinem Knecht Jakob gegeben habe;(dhs) Eze 28:25 'Thus says the Lord God: "When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and am hallowed in them in the sight of the Gentiles, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to My servant Jacob.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 28:26 ============ Eze 28:26 They will live in it securely; and they will build houses, plant vineyards and live securely when I execute judgments upon all who scorn them round about them.
