So nothing shall die of all that belongs to the children of Israel." ' "(nkjv) ======= Exodus 9:5 ============ Exo 9:5 The Lord set a definite time, saying, "Tomorrow the Lord will do this thing in the land."(nas) Exo 9:5 καὶ ἔδωκεν ὁ θεὸς ὅρον λέγων ἐν τῇ αὔριον ποιήσει κύριος τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς (lxx) Exo 9:5 Constituitque Dominus tempus, dicens: Cras faciet Dominus verbum istud in terra.(vulgate) Exodus 9:5 And the Lord appointed a time, saying, To morowe the Lorde shall finish this thing in this lande.(Geneva) Exo 9:5 Und der HERR bestimmte eine Zeit und sprach: Morgen wird der HERR solches auf Erden tun.(dhs) Exo 9:5 Then the Lord appointed a set time, saying, "Tomorrow the Lord will do this thing in the land."(nkjv) ======= Exodus 9:6 ============ Exo 9:6 So the Lord did this thing on the next day, and all the livestock of Egypt died; but of the livestock of the sons of Israel, not one died.(nas) Exo 9:6 καὶ ἐποίησεν κύριος τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο τῇ ἐπαύριον καὶ ἐτελεύτησεν πάντα τὰ κτήνη τῶν Αἰγυπτίων ἀπὸ δὲ τῶν κτηνῶν τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ οὐκ ἐτελεύτησεν οὐδέν (lxx) Exo 9:6 Fecit ergo Dominus verbum hoc altera die: mortuaque sunt omnia animantia Ægyptiorum; de animalibus vero filiorum Israël, nihil omnino periit.(vulgate) Exodus 9:6 So the Lord did this thing on the morow, and all the cattel of Egypt dyed: but of the cattell of the children of Israel dyed not one.(Geneva) Exo 9:6 Und der HERR tat solches des Morgens, und es starb allerlei Vieh der Ägypter; aber des Viehs der Kinder Israel starb nicht eins.(dhs) Exo 9:6 So the Lord did this thing on the next day, and all the livestock of Egypt died; but of the livestock of the children of Israel, not one died.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 9:7 ============ Exo 9:7 Pharaoh sent, and behold, there was not even one of the livestock of Israel dead. But the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go. (nas) Exo 9:7 ἰδὼν δὲ Φαραω ὅτι οὐκ ἐτελεύτησεν ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν κτηνῶν τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ οὐδέν ἐβαρύνθη ἡ καρδία Φαραω καὶ οὐκ ἐξαπέστειλεν τὸν λαόν (lxx) Exo 9:7 Et misit Pharao ad videndum: nec erat quidquam mortuum de his quæ possidebat Israël. Ingravatumque est cor Pharaonis, et non dimisit populum.~(vulgate) Exodus 9:7 Then Pharaoh sent, and beholde, there was not one of the cattell of the Israelites dead: and the heart of Pharaoh was obstinate, and hee did not let the people goe.(Geneva) Exo 9:7 Und Pharao sandte darnach, und siehe, es war des Viehs Israels nicht eins gestorben. But the heart of Pharaoh became hard, and he did not let the people go.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 9:8 ============ Exo 9:8 Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, "Take for yourselves handfuls of soot from a kiln, and let Moses throw it toward the sky in the sight of Pharaoh.(nas) Exo 9:8 εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων λέγων λάβετε ὑμεῖς πλήρεις τὰς χεῖρας αἰθάλης καμιναίας καὶ πασάτω Μωυσῆς εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν ἐναντίον Φαραω καὶ ἐναντίον τῶν θεραπόντων αὐτοῦ (lxx) Exo 9:8 Et dixit Dominus ad Moysen et Aaron: Tollite plenas manus cineris de camino, et spargat illum Moyses in cælum coram Pharaone.(vulgate) Exodus 9:8 And the Lord said to Moses and to Aaron, Take your handfull of ashes of the fornace, and Moses shall sprinkle them towarde the heauen in the sight of Pharaoh,(Geneva) Exo 9:8 Da sprach der HERR zu Mose und Aaron: Nehmet eure Fäuste voll Ruß aus dem Ofen, und Mose sprenge ihn gen Himmel vor Pharao,(dhs) Exo 9:8 So the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, "Take for yourselves handfuls of ashes from a furnace, and let Moses scatter it toward the heavens in the sight of Pharaoh.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 9:9 ============ Exo 9:9 It will become fine dust over all the land of Egypt, and will become boils breaking out with sores on man and beast through all the land of Egypt."(nas) Exo 9:9 καὶ γενηθήτω κονιορτὸς ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἔσται ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀνθρώπους καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ τετράποδα ἕλκη φλυκτίδες ἀναζέουσαι ἔν τε τοῖς ἀνθρώποις καὶ ἐν τοῖς τετράποσιν καὶ ἐν πάσῃ γῇ Αἰγύπτου (lxx) Exo 9:9 Sitque pulvis super omnem terram Ægypti: erunt enim in hominibus et jumentis ulcera, et vesicæ turgentes in universa terra Ægypti.(vulgate) Exodus 9:9 And they shall be turned to dust in all the land of Egypt: and it shalbe as a scab breaking out into blisters vpon man, and vpon beast, thorow out all the land of Egypt.(Geneva) Exo 9:9 daß es über ganz Ägyptenland stäube und böse schwarze Blattern auffahren an den Menschen und am Vieh in ganz Ägyptenland.(dhs) Exo 9:9 And it will become fine dust in all the land of Egypt, and it will cause boils that break out in sores on man and beast throughout all the land of Egypt."(nkjv) ======= Exodus 9:10 ============ Exo 9:10 So they took soot from a kiln, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses threw it toward the sky, and it became boils breaking out with sores on man and beast.(nas) Exo 9:10 καὶ ἔλαβεν τὴν αἰθάλην τῆς καμιναίας ἐναντίον Φαραω καὶ ἔπασεν αὐτὴν Μωυσῆς εἰς τὸν οὐρανόν καὶ ἐγένετο ἕλκη φλυκτίδες ἀναζέουσαι ἐν τοῖς ἀνθρώποις καὶ ἐν τοῖς τετράποσιν (lxx) Exo 9:10 Tuleruntque cinerem de camino, et steterunt coram Pharaone, et sparsit illum Moyses in cælum: factaque sunt ulcera vesicarum turgentium in hominibus et jumentis:(vulgate) Exodus 9:10 Then they tooke ashes of the fornace, and stoode before Pharaoh: and Moses sprinkled them towarde the heauen, and there came a scab breaking out into blisters vpon man, and vpon beast.(Geneva) Exo 9:10 Und sie nahmen Ruß aus dem Ofen und traten vor Pharao, und Mose sprengte ihn gen Himmel. Da fuhren auf böse schwarze Blattern an den Menschen und am Vieh,(dhs) Exo 9:10 Then they took ashes from the furnace and stood before Pharaoh, and Moses scattered them toward heaven. And they caused boils that break out in sores on man and beast.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 9:11 ============ Exo 9:11 The magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils were on the magicians as well as on all the Egyptians.(nas) Exo 9:11 καὶ οὐκ ἠδύναντο οἱ φαρμακοὶ στῆναι ἐναντίον Μωυσῆ διὰ τὰ ἕλκη ἐγένετο γὰρ τὰ ἕλκη ἐν τοῖς φαρμακοῖς καὶ ἐν πάσῃ γῇ Αἰγύπτου (lxx) Exo 9:11 nec poterant malefici stare coram Moyse propter ulcera quæ in illis erant, et in omni terra Ægypti.(vulgate) Exodus 9:11 And the sorcerers could not stande before Moses, because of the scab: for the scab was vpon the enchanters, and vpon all the Egyptians.(Geneva) Exo 9:11 also daß die Zauberer nicht konnten vor Mose stehen vor den bösen Blattern; denn es waren an den Zauberern ebensowohl böse Blattern als an allen Ägyptern.(dhs) Exo 9:11 And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils, for the boils were on the magicians and on all the Egyptians.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 9:12 ============ Exo 9:12 And the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not listen to them, just as the Lord had spoken to Moses.(nas) Exo 9:12 ἐσκλήρυνεν δὲ κύριος τὴν καρδίαν Φαραω καὶ οὐκ εἰσήκουσεν αὐτῶν καθὰ συνέταξεν κύριος (lxx) Exo 9:12 Induravitque Dominus cor Pharaonis, et non audivit eos, sicut locutus est Dominus ad Moysen.~(vulgate) Exodus 9:12 And the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not vnto them, as the Lorde had said vnto Moses.(Geneva) Exo 9:12 Aber der HERR verstockte das Herz Pharaos, daß er sie nicht hörte, wie denn der HERR gesagt hatte.(dhs) Exo 9:12 But the Lord hardened the heart of Pharaoh; and he did not heed them, just as the Lord had spoken to Moses.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 9:13 ============ Exo 9:13 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Rise up early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh and say to him, 'Thus says the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, "Let My people go, that they may serve Me.(nas) Exo 9:13 εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ὄρθρισον τὸ πρωὶ καὶ στῆθι ἐναντίον Φαραω καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ὁ θεὸς τῶν Εβραίων ἐξαπόστειλον τὸν λαόν μου ἵνα λατρεύσωσίν μοι (lxx) Exo 9:13 Dixitque Dominus ad Moysen: Mane consurge, et sta coram Pharaone, et dices ad eum: Hæc dicit Dominus Deus Hebræorum: Dimitte populum meum ut sacrificet mihi.(vulgate) Exodus 9:13 Also the Lorde said vnto Moses, Rise vp early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the Lorde God of the Ebrewes, Let my people goe, that they may serue me.(Geneva) Exo 9:13 Da sprach der HERR zu Mose: Mache dich morgen früh auf und tritt vor Pharao und sprich zu ihm: So sagt der HERR, der Hebräer Gott: Laß mein Volk, daß mir's diene;(dhs) Exo 9:13 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Rise early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh, and say to him, 'Thus says the Lord God of the Hebrews: "Let My people go, that they may serve Me,(nkjv) ======= Exodus 9:14 ============ Exo 9:14 For this time I will send all My plagues on you and your servants and your people, so that you may know that there is no one like Me in all the earth.(nas) Exo 9:14 ἐν τῷ γὰρ νῦν καιρῷ ἐγὼ ἐξαποστέλλω πάντα τὰ συναντήματά μου εἰς τὴν καρδίαν σου καὶ τῶν θεραπόντων σου καὶ τοῦ λαοῦ σου ἵν᾽ εἰδῇς ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ὡς ἐγὼ ἄλλος ἐν πάσῃ τῇ γῇ (lxx) Exo 9:14 Quia in hac vice mittam omnes plagas meas super cor tuum, et super servos tuos, et super populum tuum: ut scias quod non sit similis mei in omni terra.(vulgate) Exodus 9:14 For I will at this time send all my plagues vpon thine heart, and vpon thy seruants, and vpon thy people, that thou mayest knowe that there is none like me in all the earth.(Geneva) Exo 9:14 ich will sonst diesmal alle meine Plagen über dich selbst senden, über deine Knechte und über dein Volk, daß du innewerden sollst, daß meinesgleichen nicht ist in allen Landen.(dhs) Exo 9:14 for at this time I will send all My plagues to your very heart, and on your servants and on your people, that you may know that there is none like Me in all the earth.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 9:15 ============ Exo 9:15 For if by now I had put forth My hand and struck you and your people with pestilence, you would then have been cut off from the earth.(nas) Exo 9:15 νῦν γὰρ ἀποστείλας τὴν χεῖρα πατάξω σε καὶ τὸν λαόν σου θανάτῳ καὶ ἐκτριβήσῃ ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς (lxx) Exo 9:15 Nunc enim extendens manum percutiam te, et populum tuum peste, peribisque de terra.(vulgate) Exodus 9:15 For nowe I will stretch out mine hande, that I may smite thee and thy people with the pestilence: and thou shalt perish from the earth.(Geneva) Exo 9:15 Denn ich hätte schon jetzt meine Hand ausgereckt und dich und dein Volk mit Pestilenz geschlagen, daß du von der Erde vertilgt würdest.(dhs) Exo 9:15 Now if I had stretched out My hand and struck you and your people with pestilence, then you would have been cut off from the earth.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 9:16 ============ Exo 9:16 But, indeed, for this reason I have allowed you to remain, in order to show you My power and in order to proclaim My name through all the earth.(nas) Exo 9:16 καὶ ἕνεκεν τούτου διετηρήθης ἵνα ἐνδείξωμαι ἐν σοὶ τὴν ἰσχύν μου καὶ ὅπως διαγγελῇ τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐν πάσῃ τῇ γῇ (lxx) Exo 9:16 Idcirco autem posui te, ut ostendam in te fortitudinem meam, et narretur nomen meum in omni terra.(vulgate) Exodus 9:16 And in deede, for this cause haue I appointed thee, to shewe my power in thee, and to declare my Name throughout all the world.(Geneva) Exo 9:16 Aber darum habe ich dich erhalten, daß meine Kraft an dir erscheine und mein Name verkündigt werde in allen Landen.(dhs) Exo 9:16 But indeed for this purpose I have raised you up, that I may show My power in you, and that My name may be declared in all the earth.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 9:17 ============ Exo 9:17 Still you exalt yourself against My people by not letting them go. (nas) Exo 9:17 ἔτι οὖν σὺ ἐμποιῇ τοῦ λαοῦ μου τοῦ μὴ ἐξαποστεῖλαι αὐτούς (lxx) Exo 9:17 Adhuc retines populum meum, et non vis dimittere eum?(vulgate) Exodus 9:17 Yet thou exaltest thy selfe against my people, and lettest them not goe.(Geneva) Exo 9:17 Du trittst mein Volk noch unter dich und willst's nicht lassen.(dhs) Exo 9:17 As yet you exalt yourself against My people in that you will not let them go.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 9:18 ============ Exo 9:18 Behold, about this time tomorrow, I will send a very heavy hail, such as has not been seen in Egypt from the day it was founded until now.(nas) Exo 9:18 ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ὕω ταύτην τὴν ὥραν αὔριον χάλαζαν πολλὴν σφόδρα ἥτις τοιαύτη οὐ γέγονεν ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ ἀφ᾽ ἧς ἡμέρας ἔκτισται ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης (lxx) Exo 9:18 En pluam cras hac ipsa hora grandinem multam nimis, qualis non fuit in Ægypto a die qua fundata est, usque in præsens tempus.(vulgate) Exodus 9:18 Beholde, to morowe this time I will cause to raine a mightie great haile, such as was not in Egypt since the foundation thereof was laid vnto this time.(Geneva) Exo 9:18 Siehe, ich will morgen um diese Zeit einen sehr großen Hagel regnen lassen, desgleichen in Ägypten nicht gewesen ist, seitdem es gegründet ist, bis her.(dhs) Exo 9:18 Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause very heavy hail to rain down, such as has not been in Egypt since its founding until now.(nkjv) ======= Exodus 9:19 ============ Exo 9:19 Now therefore send, bring your livestock and whatever you have in the field to safety. Every man and beast that is found in the field and is not brought home, when the hail comes down on them, will die."'"(nas) Exo 9:19 νῦν οὖν κατάσπευσον συναγαγεῖν τὰ κτήνη σου καὶ ὅσα σοί ἐστιν ἐν τῷ πεδίῳ πάντες γὰρ οἱ ἄνθρωποι καὶ τὰ κτήνη ὅσα ἂν εὑρεθῇ ἐν τῷ πεδίῳ καὶ μὴ εἰσέλθῃ εἰς οἰκίαν πέσῃ δὲ ἐπ᾽ αὐτὰ ἡ χάλαζα τελευτήσει (lxx) Exo 9:19 Mitte ergo jam nunc, et congrega jumenta tua, et omnia quæ habes in agro: homines enim, et jumenta, et universa quæ inventa fuerint foris, nec congregata de agris, cecideritque super ea grando, morientur.(vulgate) Exodus 9:19 Send therefore nowe, and gather the cattell, and all that thou hast in the fielde: for vpon all the men, and the beastes, which are found in the field, and not brought home, the haile shal fall vpon them, and they shall die.(Geneva) Exo 9:19 Und nun sende hin und verwahre dein Vieh, und alles, was du auf dem Felde hast. Denn alle Menschen und das Vieh, das auf dem Felde gefunden wird und nicht in die Häuser versammelt ist, so der Hagel auf sie fällt, werden sterben.(dhs) Exo 9:19 Therefore send now and gather your livestock and all that you have in the field, for the hail shall come down on every man and every animal which is found in the field and is not brought home; and they shall die."
