Juxta omnia quæ mandaverat Dominus Moysi, fecerunt filii Israël.(vulgate) Numbers 9:5 And they kept the Passeouer in the fouretenth day of the first moneth at euen in the wildernesse of Sinai: according to all that the Lord had comanded Moses, so did ye children of Israel.(Geneva) Num 9:5 Und sie hielten Passah am vierzehnten Tage des ersten Monats gegen Abend in der Wüste Sinai; alles, wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte, so taten die Kinder Israel.(dhs) Num 9:5 And they kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month, at twilight, in the Wilderness of Sinai; according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 9:6 ============ Num 9:6 But there were some men who were unclean because of the dead person, so that they could not observe Passover on that day; so they came before Moses and Aaron on that day.(nas) Num 9:6 καὶ παρεγένοντο οἱ ἄνδρες οἳ ἦσαν ἀκάθαρτοι ἐπὶ ψυχῇ ἀνθρώπου καὶ οὐκ ἠδύναντο ποιῆσαι τὸ πασχα ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ καὶ προσῆλθον ἐναντίον Μωυσῆ καὶ Ααρων ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ (lxx) Num 9:6 Ecce autem quidam immundi super anima hominis, qui non poterant facere Phase in die illo, accedentes ad Moysen et Aaron,(vulgate) Numbers 9:6 And certaine men were defiled by a dead man, that they might not keepe the Passeouer the same day: and they came before Moses & before Aaron the same day.(Geneva) Num 9:6 Da waren etliche Männer unrein geworden an einem toten Menschen, daß sie nicht konnten Passah halten des Tages. Die traten vor Mose und Aaron desselben Tages(dhs) Num 9:6 Now there were certain men who were defiled by a human corpse, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day; and they came before Moses and Aaron that day.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 9:7 ============ Num 9:7 Those men said to him, "Though we are unclean because of the dead person, why are we restrained from presenting the offering of the Lord at its appointed time among the sons of Israel?"(nas) Num 9:7 καὶ εἶπαν οἱ ἄνδρες ἐκεῖνοι πρὸς αὐτόν ἡμεῖς ἀκάθαρτοι ἐπὶ ψυχῇ ἀνθρώπου μὴ οὖν ὑστερήσωμεν προσενέγκαι τὸ δῶρον κυρίῳ κατὰ καιρὸν αὐτοῦ ἐν μέσῳ υἱῶν Ισραηλ (lxx) Num 9:7 dixerunt eis: Immundi sumus super anima hominis: quare fraudamur ut non valeamus oblationem offerre Domino in tempore suo inter filios Israël?(vulgate) Numbers 9:7 And those men said vnto him, We are defiled by a dead man: wherefore are wee kept backe that we may not offer an offering vnto the Lorde in the time thereunto appointed among the children of Israel?(Geneva) Num 9:7 und sprachen zu ihm: Wir sind unrein geworden an einem toten Menschen; warum sollen wir geringer sein, daß wir unsere Gabe dem HERRN nicht bringen dürfen zu seiner Zeit unter den Kindern Israel?(dhs) Num 9:7 And those men said to him, "We became defiled by a human corpse. Why are we kept from presenting the offering of the Lord at its appointed time among the children of Israel?"(nkjv) ======= Numbers 9:8 ============ Num 9:8 Moses therefore said to them, "Wait, and I will listen to what the Lord will command concerning you."(nas) Num 9:8 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτοὺς Μωυσῆς στῆτε αὐτοῦ καὶ ἀκούσομαι τί ἐντελεῖται κύριος περὶ ὑμῶν (lxx) Num 9:8 Quibus respondit Moyses: State ut consulam quid præcipiat Dominus de vobis.(vulgate) Numbers 9:8 Then Moses saide vnto them, Stande still, and I will heare what the Lorde will commande concerning you.(Geneva) Num 9:8 Mose sprach zu ihnen: Harret, ich will hören, was euch der HERR gebietet.(dhs) Num 9:8 And Moses said to them, "Stand still, that I may hear what the Lord will command concerning you."(nkjv) ======= Numbers 9:9 ============ Num 9:9 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nas) Num 9:9 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων (lxx) Num 9:9 Locutusque est Dominus ad Moysen, dicens:(vulgate) Numbers 9:9 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,(Geneva) Num 9:9 Und der HERR redete mit Mose und sprach:(dhs) Num 9:9 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nkjv) ======= Numbers 9:10 ============ Num 9:10 "Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'If any one of you or of your generations becomes unclean because of a dead person, or is on a distant journey, he may, however, observe the Passover to the Lord.(nas) Num 9:10 λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ λέγων ἄνθρωπος ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἐὰν γένηται ἀκάθαρτος ἐπὶ ψυχῇ ἀνθρώπου ἢ ἐν ὁδῷ μακρὰν ὑμῖν ἢ ἐν ταῖς γενεαῖς ὑμῶν καὶ ποιήσει τὸ πασχα κυρίῳ (lxx) Num 9:10 Loquere filiis Israël: Homo, qui fuerit immundus super anima, sive in via procul in gente vestra, faciat Phase Domino(vulgate) Numbers 9:10 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and say, If any amog you, or of your posteritie shalbe vncleane by ye reason of a corps, or be in a log iourney, he shall keepe the Passeouer vnto ye Lord.(Geneva) Num 9:10 Sage den Kinder Israel und sprich: Wenn jemand unrein an einem Toten oder ferne über Feld ist, unter euch oder unter euren Nachkommen, der soll dennoch dem HERRN Passah halten,(dhs) Num 9:10 "Speak to the children of Israel, saying: 'If anyone of you or your posterity is unclean because of a corpse, or is far away on a journey, he may still keep the Lord's Passover.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 9:11 ============ Num 9:11 In the second month on the fourteenth day at twilight, they shall observe it; they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.(nas) Num 9:11 ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ δευτέρῳ ἐν τῇ τεσσαρεσκαιδεκάτῃ ἡμέρᾳ τὸ πρὸς ἑσπέραν ποιήσουσιν αὐτό ἐπ᾽ ἀζύμων καὶ πικρίδων φάγονται αὐτό (lxx) Num 9:11 in mense secundo, quartadecima die mensis ad vesperam. Cum azymis et lactucis agrestibus comedent illud:(vulgate) Numbers 9:11 In the fourtenth day of the second moneth at euen they shall keepe it: with vnleauened bread and sowre herbes shall they eate it.(Geneva) Num 9:11 aber im zweiten Monat, am vierzehnten Tage gegen Abend, und soll's neben ungesäuertem Brot und bitteren Kräutern essen,(dhs) Num 9:11 On the fourteenth day of the second month, at twilight, they may keep it. They shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 9:12 ============ Num 9:12 They shall leave none of it until morning, nor break a bone of it; according to all the statute of the Passover they shall observe it.(nas) Num 9:12 οὐ καταλείψουσιν ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ πρωὶ καὶ ὀστοῦν οὐ συντρίψουσιν ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ κατὰ τὸν νόμον τοῦ πασχα ποιήσουσιν αὐτό (lxx) Num 9:12 non relinquent ex eo quippiam usque mane, et os ejus non confringent: omnem ritum Phase observabunt.(vulgate) Numbers 9:12 They shall leaue none of it vnto the morning, nor breake any bone of it: according to all the ordinance of the Passeouer shall they keepe it.(Geneva) Num 9:12 und sie sollen nichts davon übriglassen, bis morgen, auch kein Bein daran zerbrechen und sollen's nach aller Weise des Passah halten.(dhs) Num 9:12 They shall leave none of it until morning, nor break one of its bones. According to all the ordinances of the Passover they shall keep it.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 9:13 ============ Num 9:13 But the man who is clean and is not on a journey, and yet neglects to observe the Passover, that person shall then be cut off from his people, for he did not present the offering of the Lord at its appointed time. That man will bear his sin.(nas) Num 9:13 καὶ ἄνθρωπος ὃς ἐὰν καθαρὸς ᾖ καὶ ἐν ὁδῷ μακρᾷ οὐκ ἔστιν καὶ ὑστερήσῃ ποιῆσαι τὸ πασχα ἐξολεθρευθήσεται ἡ ψυχὴ ἐκείνη ἐκ τοῦ λαοῦ αὐτῆς ὅτι τὸ δῶρον κυρίῳ οὐ προσήνεγκεν κατὰ τὸν καιρὸν αὐτοῦ ἁμαρτίαν αὐτοῦ λήμψεται ὁ ἄνθρωπος ἐκεῖνος (lxx) Num 9:13 Si quis autem et mundus est, et in itinere non fuit, et tamen non fecit Phase, exterminabitur anima illa de populis suis, quia sacrificium Domino non obtulit tempore suo: peccatum suum ipse portabit.(vulgate) Numbers 9:13 But the man that is cleane and is not in a iourney, and is negligent to keepe the Passeouer, the same person shalbe cut off from his people: because he brought not the offring of the Lorde in his due season, that man shall beare his sinne.(Geneva) Num 9:13 Wer aber rein und nicht über Feld ist und läßt es anstehen, das Passah zu halten, des Seele soll ausgerottet werden von seinem Volk, darum daß er seine Gabe dem HERRN nicht gebracht hat zu seiner Zeit; er soll seine Sünde tragen.(dhs) Num 9:13 But the man who is clean and is not on a journey, and ceases to keep the Passover, that same person shall be cut off from among his people, because he did not bring the offering of the Lord at its appointed time; that man shall bear his sin.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 9:14 ============ Num 9:14 If an alien sojourns among you and observes the Passover to the Lord, according to the statute of the Passover and according to its ordinance, so he shall do; you shall have one statute, both for the alien and for the native of the land.'" (nas) Num 9:14 ἐὰν δὲ προσέλθῃ πρὸς ὑμᾶς προσήλυτος ἐν τῇ γῇ ὑμῶν καὶ ποιήσει τὸ πασχα κυρίῳ κατὰ τὸν νόμον τοῦ πασχα καὶ κατὰ τὴν σύνταξιν αὐτοῦ ποιήσει αὐτό νόμος εἷς ἔσται ὑμῖν καὶ τῷ προσηλύτῳ καὶ τῷ αὐτόχθονι τῆς γῆς (lxx) Num 9:14 Peregrinus quoque et advena si fuerint apud vos, facient Phase Domino juxta cæremonias et justificationes ejus. Præceptum idem erit apud vos tam advenæ quam indigenæ.~(vulgate) Numbers 9:14 And if a stranger dwell among you, and wil keepe the Passeouer vnto the Lord, as the ordinance of the Passeouer, & as the maner thereof is, so shall he do: ye shall haue one lawe both for the stranger, and for him that was borne in the same lande.(Geneva) Num 9:14 Und wenn ein Fremdling bei euch wohnt und auch dem HERRN Passah hält, der soll's halten nach der Satzung und dem Recht des Passah. Diese Satzung soll euch gleich sein, dem Fremden wie des Landes Einheimischen.(dhs) Num 9:14 And if a stranger dwells among you, and would keep the Lord's Passover, he must do so according to the rite of the Passover and according to its ceremony; you shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger and the native of the land.' "(nkjv) ======= Numbers 9:15 ============ Num 9:15 Now on the day that the tabernacle was erected the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the testimony, and in the evening it was like the appearance of fire over the tabernacle, until morning.(nas) Num 9:15 καὶ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ᾗ ἐστάθη ἡ σκηνή ἐκάλυψεν ἡ νεφέλη τὴν σκηνήν τὸν οἶκον τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ τὸ ἑσπέρας ἦν ἐπὶ τῆς σκηνῆς ὡς εἶδος πυρὸς ἕως πρωί (lxx) Num 9:15 Igitur die qua erectum est tabernaculum, operuit illud nubes. A vespere autem super tentorium erat quasi species ignis usque mane.(vulgate) Numbers 9:15 And when the Tabernacle was reared vp, a cloude couered the Tabernacle, namely the Tabernacle of the Testimonie: and at euen there was vpon the Tabernacle, as the appearance of fire vntill the morning.(Geneva) Num 9:15 Und des Tages, da die Wohnung aufgerichtet ward, bedeckte sie eine Wolke auf der Hütte des Zeugnisses; und des Abends bis an den Morgen war über der Wohnung eine Gestalt des Feuers.(dhs) Num 9:15 Now on the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the Testimony; from evening until morning it was above the tabernacle like the appearance of fire.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 9:16 ============ Num 9:16 So it was continuously; the cloud would cover it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.(nas) Num 9:16 οὕτως ἐγίνετο διὰ παντός ἡ νεφέλη ἐκάλυπτεν αὐτὴν ἡμέρας καὶ εἶδος πυρὸς τὴν νύκτα (lxx) Num 9:16 Sic fiebat jugiter: per diem operiebat illud nubes, et per noctem quasi species ignis.(vulgate) Numbers 9:16 So it was always: the cloude couered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.(Geneva) Num 9:16 Also geschah's immerdar, daß die Wolke sie bedeckte, und des Nachts die Gestalt des Feuers.(dhs) Num 9:16 So it was always: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 9:17 ============ Num 9:17 Whenever the cloud was lifted from over the tent, afterward the sons of Israel would then set out; and in the place where the cloud settled down, there the sons of Israel would camp.(nas) Num 9:17 καὶ ἡνίκα ἀνέβη ἡ νεφέλη ἀπὸ τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἀπῆραν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ καὶ ἐν τῷ τόπῳ οὗ ἂν ἔστη ἡ νεφέλη ἐκεῖ παρενέβαλον οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ (lxx) Num 9:17 Cumque ablata fuisset nubes, quæ tabernaculum protegebat, tunc proficiscebantur filii Israël: et in loco ubi stetisset nubes, ibi castrametabantur.(vulgate) Numbers 9:17 And when the cloude was taken vp from the Tabernacle, then afterwarde the children of Israel iourneyed: and in the place where the cloude abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.(Geneva) Num 9:17 Und so oft sich die Wolke aufhob von der Hütte, so zogen die Kinder Israel; und an welchem Ort die Wolke blieb, da lagerten sich die Kinder Israel.(dhs) Num 9:17 Whenever the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle, after that the children of Israel would journey; and in the place where the cloud settled, there the children of Israel would pitch their tents.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 9:18 ============ Num 9:18 At the command of the Lord the sons of Israel would set out, and at the command of the Lord they would camp; as long as the cloud settled over the tabernacle, they remained camped.(nas) Num 9:18 διὰ προστάγματος κυρίου παρεμβαλοῦσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ καὶ διὰ προστάγματος κυρίου ἀπαροῦσιν πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας ἐν αἷς σκιάζει ἡ νεφέλη ἐπὶ τῆς σκηνῆς παρεμβαλοῦσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ (lxx) Num 9:18 Ad imperium Domini proficiscebantur, et ad imperium illius figebant tabernaculum. Cunctis diebus quibus stabat nubes super tabernaculum, manebant in eodem loco:(vulgate) Numbers 9:18 At the commaundement of the Lorde the children of Israel iourneyed, and at the comandement of the Lorde they pitched: as long as the cloude abode vpon the Tabernacle, they lay still.(Geneva) Num 9:18 Nach dem Wort des HERRN zogen die Kinder Israel, und nach seinem Wort lagerten sie sich. Solange die Wolke auf der Wohnung blieb, so lange lagen sie still.(dhs) Num 9:18 At the command of the Lord the children of Israel would journey, and at the command of the Lord they would camp; as long as the cloud stayed above the tabernacle they remained encamped.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 9:19 ============ Num 9:19 Even when the cloud lingered over the tabernacle for many days, the sons of Israel would keep the Lord's charge and not set out.(nas) Num 9:19 καὶ ὅταν ἐφέλκηται ἡ νεφέλη ἐπὶ τῆς σκηνῆς ἡμέρας πλείους καὶ φυλάξονται οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ τὴν φυλακὴν τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐξάρωσιν (lxx) Num 9:19 et si evenisset ut multo tempore maneret super illud, erant filii Israël in excubiis Domini, et non proficiscebantur(vulgate) Numbers 9:19 And when the cloude taryed stil vpon the Tabernacle a long time, the childre of Israel kept the watch of the Lorde, and iourneyed not.(Geneva) Num 9:19 Und wenn die Wolke viele Tage verzog auf der Wohnung, so taten die Kinder Israel nach dem Gebot des HERRN und zogen nicht.(dhs) Num 9:19 Even when the cloud continued long, many days above the tabernacle, the children of Israel kept the charge of the Lord and did not journey.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 9:20 ============ Num 9:20 If sometimes the cloud remained a few days over the tabernacle, according to the command of the Lord they remained camped. Then according to the command of the Lord they set out.(nas) Num 9:20 καὶ ἔσται ὅταν σκεπάσῃ ἡ νεφέλη ἡμέρας ἀριθμῷ ἐπὶ τῆς σκηνῆς διὰ φωνῆς κυρίου παρεμβαλοῦσιν καὶ διὰ προστάγματος κυρίου ἀπαροῦσιν (lxx) Num 9:20 quot diebus fuisset nubes super tabernaculum.
