denn alle, die dem Baal-Peor folgten, hat der HERR, dein Gott, vertilgt unter euch.(dhs) Deu 4:3 Your eyes have seen what the Lord did at Baal Peor; for the Lord your God has destroyed from among you all the men who followed Baal of Peor.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:4 ============ Deu 4:4 But you who held fast to the Lord your God are alive today, every one of you.(nas) Deu 4:4 ὑμεῖς δὲ οἱ προσκείμενοι κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ ὑμῶν ζῆτε πάντες ἐν τῇ σήμερον (lxx) Deu 4:4 Vos autem qui adhæretis Domino Deo vestro, vivitis universi usque in præsentem diem.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:4 But ye that did cleaue vnto the Lord your God, are aliue euery one of you this day.(Geneva) Deu 4:4 Aber ihr, die ihr dem HERRN, eurem Gott, anhinget, lebt alle heutigestages.(dhs) Deu 4:4 But you who held fast to the Lord your God are alive today, every one of you.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:5 ============ Deu 4:5 "See, I have taught you statutes and judgments just as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should do thus in the land where you are entering to possess it.(nas) Deu 4:5 ἴδετε δέδειχα ὑμῖν δικαιώματα καὶ κρίσεις καθὰ ἐνετείλατό μοι κύριος ποιῆσαι οὕτως ἐν τῇ γῇ εἰς ἣν ὑμεῖς εἰσπορεύεσθε ἐκεῖ κληρονομεῖν αὐτήν (lxx) Deu 4:5 Scitis quod docuerim vos præcepta atque justitias, sicut mandavit mihi Dominus Deus meus: sic facietis ea in terra, quam possessuri estis:(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:5 Behold, I haue taught you ordinances, and lawes, as the Lord my God commanded me, that ye should doe euen so within the land whither ye goe to possesse it.(Geneva) Deu 4:5 Siehe, ich habe euch gelehrt Gebote und Rechte, wie mir der HERR, mein Gott, geboten hat, daß ihr also tun sollt in dem Lande, darein ihr kommen werdet, daß ihr's einnehmet.(dhs) Deu 4:5 Surely I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should act according to them in the land which you go to possess.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:6 ============ Deu 4:6 So keep and do them, for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes and say, 'Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.'(nas) Deu 4:6 καὶ φυλάξεσθε καὶ ποιήσετε ὅτι αὕτη ἡ σοφία ὑμῶν καὶ ἡ σύνεσις ἐναντίον πάντων τῶν ἐθνῶν ὅσοι ἐὰν ἀκούσωσιν πάντα τὰ δικαιώματα ταῦτα καὶ ἐροῦσιν ἰδοὺ λαὸς σοφὸς καὶ ἐπιστήμων τὸ ἔθνος τὸ μέγα τοῦτο (lxx) Deu 4:6 et observabitis et implebitis opere. Hæc est enim vestra sapientia, et intellectus coram populis, ut audientes universa præcepta hæc, dicant: En populus sapiens et intelligens, gens magna.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:6 Keepe them therefore, and doe them; for that is your wisdome, and your vnderstanding in the sight of the people, which shall heare all these ordinances, and shall say, Onely this people is wise, and of vnderstanding, and a great nation.(Geneva) Deu 4:6 So behaltet's nun und tut es. Denn das wird eure Weisheit und Verstand sein bei allen Völkern, wenn sie hören werden alle diese Gebote, daß sie müssen sagen: Ei, welch weise und verständige Leute sind das und ein herrlich Volk!(dhs) Deu 4:6 Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say, 'Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.'(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:7 ============ Deu 4:7 For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as is the Lord our God whenever we call on Him?(nas) Deu 4:7 ὅτι ποῖον ἔθνος μέγα ᾧ ἐστιν αὐτῷ θεὸς ἐγγίζων αὐτοῖς ὡς κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν ἐν πᾶσιν οἷς ἐὰν αὐτὸν ἐπικαλεσώμεθα (lxx) Deu 4:7 Nec est alia natio tam grandis, quæ habeat deos appropinquantes sibi, sicut Deus noster adest cunctis obsecrationibus nostris.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:7 For what nation is so great, vnto whome the gods come so neere vnto them, as the Lorde our God is neere vnto vs, in all that we call vnto him for?(Geneva) Deu 4:7 Denn wo ist so ein herrlich Volk, zu dem Götter also nahe sich tun als der HERR, unser Gott, so oft wir ihn anrufen?(dhs) Deu 4:7 For what great nation is there that has God so near to it, as the Lord our God is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him?(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:8 ============ Deu 4:8 Or what great nation is there that has statutes and judgments as righteous as this whole law which I am setting before you today?(nas) Deu 4:8 καὶ ποῖον ἔθνος μέγα ᾧ ἐστιν αὐτῷ δικαιώματα καὶ κρίματα δίκαια κατὰ πάντα τὸν νόμον τοῦτον ὃν ἐγὼ δίδωμι ἐνώπιον ὑμῶν σήμερον (lxx) Deu 4:8 Quæ est enim alia gens sic inclyta, ut habeat cæremonias, justaque judicia, et universam legem, quam ego proponam hodie ante oculos vestros?~(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:8 And what nation is so great, that hath ordinances and lawes so righteous, as all this Lawe, which I set before you this day?(Geneva) Deu 4:8 Und wo ist so ein herrlich Volk, das so gerechte Sitten und Gebote habe wie all dies Gesetz, daß ich euch heutigestages vorlege?(dhs) Deu 4:8 And what great nation is there that has such statutes and righteous judgments as are in all this law which I set before you this day?(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:9 ============ Deu 4:9 "Only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently, so that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen and they do not depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your sons and your grandsons.(nas) Deu 4:9 πρόσεχε σεαυτῷ καὶ φύλαξον τὴν ψυχήν σου σφόδρα μὴ ἐπιλάθῃ πάντας τοὺς λόγους οὓς ἑωράκασιν οἱ ὀφθαλμοί σου καὶ μὴ ἀποστήτωσαν ἀπὸ τῆς καρδίας σου πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς ζωῆς σου καὶ συμβιβάσεις τοὺς υἱούς σου καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς τῶν υἱῶν σου (lxx) Deu 4:9 Custodi igitur temetipsum, et animam tuam sollicite. Ne obliviscaris verborum, quæ viderunt oculi tui, et ne excidant de corde tuo cunctis diebus vitæ tuæ. Docebis ea filios ac nepotes tuos,(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:9 But take heede to thy selfe, and keepe thy soule diligently, that thou forget not the thinges which thine eyes haue seene, and that they depart not out of thine heart, all the dayes of thy life: but teach them thy sonnes, and thy sonnes sonnes:(Geneva) Deu 4:9 Hüte dich nur und bewahre deine Seele wohl, daß du nicht vergessest der Geschichten, die deine Augen gesehen haben, und daß sie nicht aus deinem Herzen kommen all dein Leben lang. Und sollst deinen Kindern und Kindeskindern kundtun(dhs) Deu 4:9 "Only take heed to yourself, and diligently keep yourself, lest you forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. And teach them to your children and your grandchildren,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:10 ============ Deu 4:10 Remember the day you stood before the Lord your God at Horeb, when the Lord said to me, 'Assemble the people to Me, that I may let them hear My words so they may learn to fear Me all the days they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.'(nas) Deu 4:10 ἡμέραν ἣν ἔστητε ἐναντίον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ὑμῶν ἐν Χωρηβ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῆς ἐκκλησίας ὅτε εἶπεν κύριος πρός με ἐκκλησίασον πρός με τὸν λαόν καὶ ἀκουσάτωσαν τὰ ῥήματά μου ὅπως μάθωσιν φοβεῖσθαί με πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας ἃς αὐτοὶ ζῶσιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτῶν διδάξωσιν (lxx) Deu 4:10 a die in quo stetisti coram Domino Deo tuo in Horeb, quando Dominus locutus est mihi, dicens: Congrega ad me populum, ut audiant sermones meos, et discant timere me omni tempore quo vivunt in terra, doceantque filios suos.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:10 Forget not the day that thou stoodest before the Lord thy God in Horeb, when the Lord said vnto me, Gather me the people together, and I wil cause them heare my wordes, that they may learne to feare me all the dayes that they shal liue vpon the earth, and that they may teache their children:(Geneva) Deu 4:10 den Tag, da du vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, standest am Berge Horeb, da der HERR zu mir sagte: Versammle mir das Volk, daß sie meine Worte hören und lernen mich fürchten alle ihre Lebtage auf Erden und lehren ihre Kinder.(dhs) Deu 4:10 especially concerning the day you stood before the Lord your God in Horeb, when the Lord said to me, 'Gather the people to Me, and I will let them hear My words, that they may learn to fear Me all the days they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.'(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:11 ============ Deu 4:11 You came near and stood at the foot of the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire to the very heart of the heavens: darkness, cloud and thick gloom.(nas) Deu 4:11 καὶ προσήλθετε καὶ ἔστητε ὑπὸ τὸ ὄρος καὶ τὸ ὄρος ἐκαίετο πυρὶ ἕως τοῦ οὐρανοῦ σκότος γνόφος θύελλα φωνὴ μεγάλη (lxx) Deu 4:11 Et accessistis ad radices montis, qui ardebat usque ad cælum: erantque in eo tenebræ, et nubes, et caligo.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:11 Then came you neere and stoode vnder the mountaine, and the mountaine burnt with fire vnto the mids of heauen, and there was darkenesse, cloudes and mist.(Geneva) Deu 4:11 Und ihr tratet herzu und standet unten an dem Berge; der Berg brannte aber bis mitten an den Himmel, und war da Finsternis, Wolken und Dunkel.(dhs) Deu 4:11 Then you came near and stood at the foot of the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire to the midst of heaven, with darkness, cloud, and thick darkness.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:12 ============ Deu 4:12 Then the Lord spoke to you from the midst of the fire; you heard the sound of words, but you saw no form--only a voice.(nas) Deu 4:12 καὶ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐκ μέσου τοῦ πυρός φωνὴν ῥημάτων ὑμεῖς ἠκούσατε καὶ ὁμοίωμα οὐκ εἴδετε ἀλλ᾽ ἢ φωνήν (lxx) Deu 4:12 Locutusque est Dominus ad vos de medio ignis. Vocem verborum ejus audistis, et formam penitus non vidistis.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:12 And the Lorde spake vnto you out of the middes of the fire, and ye heard the voyce of the wordes, but sawe no similitude, saue a voyce.(Geneva) Deu 4:12 Und der HERR redete mit euch mitten aus dem Feuer. You heard the sound of the words, but saw no form; you only heard a voice.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:13 ============ Deu 4:13 So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, that is, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.(nas) Deu 4:13 καὶ ἀνήγγειλεν ὑμῖν τὴν διαθήκην αὐτοῦ ἣν ἐνετείλατο ὑμῖν ποιεῖν τὰ δέκα ῥήματα καὶ ἔγραψεν αὐτὰ ἐπὶ δύο πλάκας λιθίνας (lxx) Deu 4:13 Et ostendit vobis pactum suum, quod præcepit ut faceretis, et decem verba, quæ scripsit in duabus tabulis lapideis.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:13 Then hee declared vnto you his couenant which he commanded you to doe, euen the ten commaundements, and wrote them vpon two tables of stone.(Geneva) Deu 4:13 Und er verkündigte euch seinen Bund, den er euch gebot zu tun, nämlich die Zehn Worte, und schrieb sie auf zwei steinerne Tafeln.(dhs) Deu 4:13 So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:14 ============ Deu 4:14 The Lord commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that you might perform them in the land where you are going over to possess it.(nas) Deu 4:14 καὶ ἐμοὶ ἐνετείλατο κύριος ἐν τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ διδάξαι ὑμᾶς δικαιώματα καὶ κρίσεις ποιεῖν αὐτὰ ὑμᾶς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς εἰς ἣν ὑμεῖς εἰσπορεύεσθε ἐκεῖ κληρονομεῖν αὐτήν (lxx) Deu 4:14 Mihique mandavit in illo tempore ut docerem vos cæremonias et judicia, quæ facere deberetis in terra, quam possessuri estis.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:14 And the Lord commanded me that same time, that I should teach you ordinances & lawes, which ye should obserue in the lande, whither ye goe, to possesse it.(Geneva) Deu 4:14 Und der HERR gebot mir zur selben Zeit, daß ich euch lehren sollte Gebote und Rechte, daß ihr darnach tätet in dem Lande, darein ihr ziehet, daß ihr's einnehmet.(dhs) Deu 4:14 And the Lord commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that you might observe them in the land which you cross over to possess.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:15 ============ Deu 4:15 "So watch yourselves carefully, since you did not see any form on the day the Lord spoke to you at Horeb from the midst of the fire,(nas) Deu 4:15 καὶ φυλάξεσθε σφόδρα τὰς ψυχὰς ὑμῶν ὅτι οὐκ εἴδετε ὁμοίωμα ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ᾗ ἐλάλησεν κύριος πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐν Χωρηβ ἐν τῷ ὄρει ἐκ μέσου τοῦ πυρός (lxx) Deu 4:15 Custodite igitur sollicite animas vestras. Non vidistis aliquam similitudinem in die, qua locutus est vobis Dominus in Horeb de medio ignis:(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:15 Take therefore good heede vnto your selues: for ye sawe no image in the day that the Lord spake vnto you in Horeb out of the middes of the fire:(Geneva) Deu 4:15 So bewahret nun eure Seelen wohl, denn ihr habt keine Gestalt gesehen des Tages, da der HERR mit euch redete aus dem Feuer auf dem Berge Horeb,(dhs) Deu 4:15 "Take careful heed to yourselves, for you saw no form when the Lord spoke to you at Horeb out of the midst of the fire,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:16 ============ Deu 4:16 so that you do not act corruptly and make a graven image for yourselves in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female,(nas) Deu 4:16 μὴ ἀνομήσητε καὶ ποιήσητε ὑμῖν ἑαυτοῖς γλυπτὸν ὁμοίωμα πᾶσαν εἰκόνα ὁμοίωμα ἀρσενικοῦ ἢ θηλυκοῦ (lxx) Deu 4:16 ne forte decepti faciatis vobis sculptam similitudinem, aut imaginem masculi vel feminæ:(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:16 That ye corrupt not your selues, and make you a grauen image or representation of any figure: whither it be the likenes of male or female,(Geneva) Deu 4:16 auf daß ihr nicht verderbet und machet euch irgend ein Bild, das gleich sei einem Mann oder Weib(dhs) Deu 4:16 lest you act corruptly and make for yourselves a carved image in the form of any figure: the likeness of male or female,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:17 ============ Deu 4:17 the likeness of any animal that is on the earth, the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the sky,(nas) Deu 4:17 ὁμοίωμα παντὸς κτήνους τῶν ὄντων ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ὁμοίωμα παντὸς ὀρνέου πτερωτοῦ ὃ πέταται ὑπὸ τὸν οὐρανόν (lxx) Deu 4:17 similitudinem omnium jumentorum, quæ sunt super terram, vel avium sub cælo volantium,(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:17 The likenes of any beast that is on earth, or the likenesse of any fethered foule that flieth in the aire:(Geneva) Deu 4:17 oder Vieh auf Erden oder Vogel unter dem Himmel(dhs) Deu 4:17 the likeness of any animal that is on the earth or the likeness of any winged bird that flies in the air,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:18 ============ Deu 4:18 the likeness of anything that creeps on the ground, the likeness of any fish that is in the water below the earth.(nas) Deu 4:18 ὁμοίωμα παντὸς ἑρπετοῦ ὃ ἕρπει ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ὁμοίωμα παντὸς ἰχθύος ὅσα ἐστὶν ἐν τοῖς ὕδασιν ὑποκάτω τῆς γῆς (lxx) Deu 4:18 atque reptilium, quæ moventur in terra, sive piscium qui sub terra morantur in aquis:(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:18 Or the likenesse of any thing that creepeth on the earth, or the likenesse of any fish that is in the waters beneath the earth,(Geneva) Deu 4:18 oder Gewürm auf dem Lande oder Fisch im Wasser unter der Erde,(dhs) Deu 4:18 the likeness of anything that creeps on the ground or the likeness of any fish that is in the water beneath the earth.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 4:19 ============ Deu 4:19 And beware not to lift up your eyes to heaven and see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, and be drawn away and worship them and serve them, those which the Lord your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.(nas) Deu 4:19 καὶ μὴ ἀναβλέψας εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ ἰδὼν τὸν ἥλιον καὶ τὴν σελήνην καὶ τοὺς ἀστέρας καὶ πάντα τὸν κόσμον τοῦ οὐρανοῦ πλανηθεὶς προσκυνήσῃς αὐτοῖς καὶ λατρεύσῃς αὐτοῖς ἃ ἀπένειμεν κύριος ὁ θεός σου αὐτὰ πᾶσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν τοῖς ὑποκάτω τοῦ οὐρανοῦ (lxx) Deu 4:19 ne forte elevatis oculis ad cælum, videas solem et lunam, et omnia astra cæli, et errore deceptus adores ea, et colas quæ creavit Dominus Deus tuus in ministerium cunctis gentibus, quæ sub cælo sunt.(vulgate) Deuteronomy 4:19 And lest thou lift vp thine eyes vnto heauen, and when thou seest the sunne & the moone and the starres with all the host of heauen, shouldest bee driuen to worship them and serue them, which the Lord thy God hath distributed to all people vnder the whole heauen.(Geneva) Deu 4:19 daß du auch nicht deine Augen aufhebest gen Himmel und sehest die Sonne und den Mond und die Sterne, das ganze Heer des Himmels, und fallest ab und betest sie an und dienest ihnen, welche der HERR, dein Gott, verordnet hat allen Völkern unter dem ganzen
