(nas) Ecl 7:6 ὅτι ὡς φωνὴ τῶν ἀκανθῶν ὑπὸ τὸν λέβητα οὕτως γέλως τῶν ἀφρόνων καί γε τοῦτο ματαιότης (lxx) Ecl 7:6 quia sicut sonitus spinarum ardentium sub olla, sic risus stulti. Et alta profunditas, quis inveniet eam?]~(vulgate) Ecclesiastes 7:24 (7:26) It is farre off, what may it be? And it is a profound deepenesse, who can finde it?(Geneva) Ecl 7:24 Alles, was da ist, das ist ferne und sehr tief; wer will's finden?(dhs) Ecl 7:24 As for that which is far off and exceedingly deep, Who can find it out?(nkjv) ======= Ecclesiastes 7:25 ============ Ecl 7:25 I directed my mind to know, to investigate and to seek wisdom and an explanation, and to know the evil of folly and the foolishness of madness. (nas) Ecl 7:25 ἐκύκλωσα ἐγώ καὶ ἡ καρδία μου τοῦ γνῶναι καὶ τοῦ κατασκέψασθαι καὶ ζητῆσαι σοφίαν καὶ ψῆφον καὶ τοῦ γνῶναι ἀσεβοῦς ἀφροσύνην καὶ σκληρίαν καὶ περιφοράν (lxx) Ecl 7:25 [Lustravi universa animo meo, ut scirem et considerarem, et quærerem sapientiam, et rationem, et ut cognoscerem impietatem stulti, et errorem imprudentium:(vulgate) Ecclesiastes 7:25 (7:27) I haue compassed about, both I and mine heart to knowe and to enquire and to search wisedome, and reason, and to knowe the wickednesse of follie, and the foolishnesse of madnesse,(Geneva) Ecl 7:25 Ich kehrte mein Herz, zu erfahren und erforschen und zu suchen Weisheit und Kunst, zu erfahren der Gottlosen Torheit und Irrtum der Tollen,(dhs) Ecl 7:25 I applied my heart to know, To search and seek out wisdom and the reason of things, To know the wickedness of folly, Even of foolishness and madness.(nkjv) ======= Ecclesiastes 7:26 ============ Ecl 7:26 And I discovered more bitter than death the woman whose heart is snares and nets, whose hands are chains. One who is pleasing to God will escape from her, but the sinner will be captured by her.
