(nas) Isa 39:1 ἐν τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ ἀπέστειλεν Μαρωδαχ υἱὸς τοῦ Λααδαν ὁ βασιλεὺς τῆς Βαβυλωνίας ἐπιστολὰς καὶ πρέσβεις καὶ δῶρα Εζεκια ἤκουσεν γὰρ ὅτι ἐμαλακίσθη ἕως θανάτου καὶ ἀνέστη (lxx) Isa 39:1 In tempore illo misit Merodach Baladan, filius Baladan, rex Babylonis, libros et munera ad Ezechiam: audierat enim quod ægrotasset et convaluisset.(vulgate) Isaiah 39:1 At the same time, Merodach Baladan, the sonne of Baladan, King of Babel, sent letters, and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had bene sicke, and was recouered.(Geneva) Isa 39:1 Zu der Zeit sandte Merodach-Baladan, der Sohn Baladans, König zu Babel, Briefe und Geschenke an Hiskia; denn er hatte gehört, daß er krank gewesen und wieder stark geworden wäre.(dhs) Isa 39:1 At that time Merodach-Baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah, for he heard that he had been sick and had recovered.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 39:2 ============ Isa 39:2 Hezekiah was pleased, and showed them all his treasure house, the silver and the gold and the spices and the precious oil and his whole armory and all that was found in his treasuries. There was nothing in his house nor in all his dominion that Hezekiah did not show them. (nas) Isa 39:2 καὶ ἐχάρη ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῖς Εζεκιας χαρὰν μεγάλην καὶ ἔδειξεν αὐτοῖς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ νεχωθα καὶ τῆς στακτῆς καὶ τῶν θυμιαμάτων καὶ τοῦ μύρου καὶ τοῦ ἀργυρίου καὶ τοῦ χρυσίου καὶ πάντας τοὺς οἴκους τῶν σκευῶν τῆς γάζης καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἦν ἐν τοῖς θησαυροῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἦν οὐθέν ὃ οὐκ ἔδειξεν Εζεκιας ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ (lxx) Isa 39:2 Lætatus est autem super eis Ezechias, et ostendit eis cellam aromatum, et argenti, et auri, et odoramentorum, et unguenti optimi, et omnes apothecas supellectilis suæ, et universa quæ inventa sunt in thesauris ejus. Non fuit verbum quod non ostenderet eis Ezechias in domo sua, et in omni potestate sua.(vulgate) Isaiah 39:2 And Hezekiah was glad of them, and shewed them the house of the treasures, the siluer, and the golde, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was founde in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his kingdome that Hezekiah shewed them not.(Geneva) Isa 39:2 Des freute sich Hiskia und zeigte ihnen das Schatzhaus, Silber und Gold und Spezerei, köstliche Salben und alle seine Zeughäuser und alle Schätze, die er hatte. Nichts war, das ihnen Hiskia nicht zeigte in seinem Hause und in seiner Herrschaft.(dhs) Isa 39:2 And Hezekiah was pleased with them, and showed them the house of his treasures--the silver and gold, the spices and precious ointment, and all his armory--all that was found among his treasures. And Hezekiah said, "They have come to me from a far country, from Babylon."(nas) Isa 39:3 καὶ ἦλθεν Ησαιας ὁ προφήτης πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα Εζεκιαν καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν τί λέγουσιν οἱ ἄνθρωποι οὗτοι καὶ πόθεν ἥκασιν πρὸς σέ καὶ εἶπεν Εζεκιας ἐκ γῆς πόρρωθεν ἥκασιν πρός με ἐκ Βαβυλῶνος (lxx) Isa 39:3 Introivit autem Isaias propheta ad Ezechiam regem, et dixit ei: Quid dixerunt viri isti, et unde venerunt ad te? Et dixit Ezechias: De terra longinqua venerunt ad me, de Babylone.(vulgate) Isaiah 39:3 Then came Isaiah the Prophet vnto King Hezekiah, & said vnto him, What said these men? and from whence came they to thee? And Hezekiah saide, They are come from a farre countrey vnto me, from Babel.(Geneva) Isa 39:3 Da kam der Prophet Jesaja zum König Hiskia und sprach zu ihm: Was sagen diese Männer, und woher kommen sie zu dir? Hiskia sprach: Sie kommen von fern zu mir, nämlich von Babel.(dhs) Isa 39:3 Then Isaiah the prophet went to King Hezekiah, and said to him, "What did these men say, and from where did they come to you?" So Hezekiah said, "They came to me from a far country, from Babylon."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 39:4 ============ Isa 39:4 He said, "What have they seen in your house?" So Hezekiah answered, "They have seen all that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasuries that I have not shown them."(nas) Isa 39:4 καὶ εἶπεν Ησαιας τί εἴδοσαν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ σου καὶ εἶπεν Εζεκιας πάντα τὰ ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ μου εἴδοσαν καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ μου ὃ οὐκ εἴδοσαν ἀλλὰ καὶ τὰ ἐν τοῖς θησαυροῖς μου (lxx) Isa 39:4 Et dixit: Quid viderunt in domo tua? Et dixit Ezechias: Omnia quæ in domo mea sunt viderunt; non fuit res quam non ostenderim eis in thesauris meis.(vulgate) Isaiah 39:4 Then saide he, What haue they seene in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in mine house haue they seene: there is nothing among my treasures, that I haue not shewed them.(Geneva) Isa 39:4 Er aber sprach: Was haben sie in deinem Hause gesehen? Hiskia sprach: Alles, was in meinem Hause ist, haben sie gesehen und ist nichts, das ich ihnen nicht hätte gezeigt in meinen Schätzen.(dhs) Isa 39:4 And he said, "What have they seen in your house?" So Hezekiah answered, "They have seen all that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 39:5 ============ Isa 39:5 Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Hear the word of the Lord of hosts, (nas) Isa 39:5 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Ησαιας ἄκουσον τὸν λόγον κυρίου σαβαωθ (lxx) Isa 39:5 Et dixit Isaias ad Ezechiam: Audi verbum Domini exercituum.(vulgate) Isaiah 39:5 And Isaiah saide to Hezekiah, Heare the worde of the Lord of hostes,(Geneva) Isa 39:5 Und Jesaja sprach zu Hiskia: Höre das Wort des HERRN Zebaoth:(dhs) Isa 39:5 Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Hear the word of the Lord of hosts:(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 39:6 ============ Isa 39:6 'Behold, the days are coming when all that is in your house and all that your fathers have laid up in store to this day will be carried to Babylon; nothing will be left, 'says the Lord. (nas) Isa 39:6 ἰδοὺ ἡμέραι ἔρχονται λέγει κύριος καὶ λήμψονται πάντα τὰ ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ σου καὶ ὅσα συνήγαγον οἱ πατέρες σου ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης εἰς Βαβυλῶνα ἥξει καὶ οὐδὲν οὐ μὴ καταλίπωσιν εἶπεν δὲ ὁ θεὸς (lxx) Isa 39:6 Ecce dies venient, et auferentur omnia quæ in domo tua sunt, et quæ thesaurizaverunt patres tui usque ad diem hanc, in Babylonem; non relinquetur quidquam, dicit Dominus.(vulgate) Isaiah 39:6 Beholde, the dayes come, that all that is in thine house, and which thy fathers haue layed vp in store vntill this day, shall be caried to Babel: nothing shall be left, sayeth the Lord.(Geneva) Isa 39:6 Siehe es kommt die Zeit, daß alles, was in deinem Hause ist und was deine Väter gesammelt haben bis auf diesen Tag, wird gen Babel gebracht werden, daß nichts bleiben wird, spricht der HERR.(dhs) Isa 39:6 'Behold, the days are coming when all that is in your house, and what your fathers have accumulated until this day, shall be carried to Babylon; nothing shall be left,' says the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 39:7 ============ Isa 39:7 'And some of your sons who will issue from you, whom you will beget, will be taken away, and they will become officials in the palace of the king of Babylon.'"(nas) Isa 39:7 ὅτι καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν τέκνων σου ὧν ἐγέννησας λήμψονται καὶ ποιήσουσιν σπάδοντας ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ τοῦ βασιλέως τῶν Βαβυλωνίων (lxx) Isa 39:7 Et de filiis tuis, qui exibunt de te, quos genueris, tollent, et erunt eunuchi in palatio regis Babylonis.(vulgate) Isaiah 39:7 And of thy sonnes, that shall proceede out of thee, and which thou shalt beget, shall they take away, and they shall be eunuches in the palace of the King of Babel.(Geneva) Isa 39:7 Dazu werden sie von deinen Kindern, die von dir kommen werden und du zeugen wirst, nehmen, daß sie müssen Kämmerer sein am Hofe des Königs zu Babel.(dhs) Isa 39:7 'And they shall take away some of your sons who will descend from you, whom you will beget; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.' "(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 39:8 ============ Isa 39:8 Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "The word of the Lord which you have spoken is good." For he thought, "For there will be peace and truth in my days." (nas) Isa 39:8 καὶ εἶπεν Εζεκιας πρὸς Ησαιαν ἀγαθὸς ὁ λόγος κυρίου ὃν ἐλάλησεν γενέσθω δὴ εἰρήνη καὶ δικαιοσύνη ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις μου (lxx) Isa 39:8 Et dixit Ezechias ad Isaiam: Bonum verbum Domini, quod locutus est. Et dixit: Fiat tantum pax et veritas in diebus meis!(vulgate) Isaiah 39:8 Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, The worde of the Lord is good, which thou hast spoken: and he saide, Yet let there be peace, and trueth in my dayes.(Geneva) Isa 39:8 Und Hiskia sprach zu Jesaja: Das Wort des HERRN ist gut, das du sagst, und sprach: Es sei nur Friede und Treue, solange ich lebe.(dhs) Isa 39:8 So Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "The word of the Lord which you have spoken is good!" For he said, "At least there will be peace and truth in my days."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 40:1 ============ Isa 40:1 "Comfort, O comfort My people," says your God. (nas) Isa 40:1 παρακαλεῖτε παρακαλεῖτε τὸν λαόν μου λέγει ὁ θεός (lxx) Isa 40:1 [Consolamini, consolamini, popule meus, dicit Deus vester.(vulgate) Isaiah 40:1 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, will your God say.(Geneva) Isa 40:1 Tröstet, tröstet mein Volk! spricht euer Gott;(dhs) Isa 40:1 "Comfort, yes, comfort My people!"
