Today's Date: ======= Isaiah 65:1 ============ Isa 65:1 "I permitted Myself to be sought by those who did not ask for Me; I permitted Myself to be found by those who did not seek Me. I said, 'Here am I, here am I, 'To a nation which did not call on My name. (nas) Isa 65:1 ἐμφανὴς ἐγενόμην τοῖς ἐμὲ μὴ ζητοῦσιν εὑρέθην τοῖς ἐμὲ μὴ ἐπερωτῶσιν εἶπα ἰδού εἰμι τῷ ἔθνει οἳ οὐκ ἐκάλεσάν μου τὸ ὄνομα (lxx) Isa 65:1 [Quæsierunt me qui ante non interrogabant; invenerunt qui non quæsierunt me. I said, 'Here I am, here I am,' To a nation that was not called by My name.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:2 ============ Isa 65:2 "I have spread out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, Who walk in the way which is not good, following their own thoughts, (nas) Isa 65:2 ἐξεπέτασα τὰς χεῖράς μου ὅλην τὴν ἡμέραν πρὸς λαὸν ἀπειθοῦντα καὶ ἀντιλέγοντα οἳ οὐκ ἐπορεύθησαν ὁδῷ ἀληθινῇ ἀλλ᾽ ὀπίσω τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν αὐτῶν (lxx) Isa 65:2 Expandi manus meas tota die ad populum incredulum, qui graditur in via non bona post cogitationes suas.(vulgate) Isaiah 65:2 I haue spred out mine handes all the day vnto a rebellious people, which walked in a way that was not good, euen after their owne imaginations:(Geneva) Isa 65:2 Ich recke meine Hand aus den ganzen Tag zu einem ungehorsamen Volk, das seinen Gedanken nachwandelt auf einem Wege, der nicht gut ist.(dhs) Isa 65:2 I have stretched out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, Who walk in a way that is not good, According to their own thoughts;(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:3 ============ Isa 65:3 A people who continually provoke Me to My face, Offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on bricks; (nas) Isa 65:3 ὁ λαὸς οὗτος ὁ παροξύνων με ἐναντίον ἐμοῦ διὰ παντός αὐτοὶ θυσιάζουσιν ἐν τοῖς κήποις καὶ θυμιῶσιν ἐπὶ ταῖς πλίνθοις τοῖς δαιμονίοις ἃ οὐκ ἔστιν (lxx) Isa 65:3 Populus qui ad iracundiam provocat me ante faciem meam semper; qui immolant in hortis, et sacrificant super lateres;(vulgate) Isaiah 65:3 A people that prouoked me euer vnto my face: that sacrificeth in gardens, and burneth incense vpon brickes.(Geneva) Isa 65:3 Ein Volk, das mich entrüstet, ist immer vor meinem Angesicht, opfert in den Gärten und räuchert auf den Ziegelsteinen,(dhs) Isa 65:3 A people who provoke Me to anger continually to My face; Who sacrifice in gardens, And burn incense on altars of brick;(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:4 ============ Isa 65:4 Who sit among graves and spend the night in secret places; Who eat swine's flesh, And the broth of unclean meat is in their pots. (nas) Isa 65:4 καὶ ἐν τοῖς μνήμασιν καὶ ἐν τοῖς σπηλαίοις κοιμῶνται δι᾽ ἐνύπνια οἱ ἔσθοντες κρέα ὕεια καὶ ζωμὸν θυσιῶν μεμολυμμένα πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῶν (lxx) Isa 65:4 qui habitant in sepulchris, et in delubris idolorum dormiunt; qui comedunt carnem suillam, et jus profanum in vasis eorum;(vulgate) Isaiah 65:4 Which remaine among the graues, and lodge in the desarts, which eate swines flesh, and the broth of things polluted are in their vessels.(Geneva) Isa 65:4 sitzt unter den Gräbern und bleibt über Nacht in den Höhlen, fressen Schweinefleisch und haben Greuelsuppen in ihren Töpfen(dhs) Isa 65:4 Who sit among the graves, And spend the night in the tombs; Who eat swine's flesh, And the broth of abominable things is in their vessels;(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:5 ============ Isa 65:5 "Who say, 'Keep to yourself, do not come near me, For I am holier than you!'These are smoke in My nostrils, A fire that burns all the day. (nas) Isa 65:5 οἱ λέγοντες πόρρω ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ μὴ ἐγγίσῃς μου ὅτι καθαρός εἰμι οὗτος καπνὸς τοῦ θυμοῦ μου πῦρ καίεται ἐν αὐτῷ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας (lxx) Isa 65:5 qui dicunt: Recede a me, non appropinques mihi, quia immundus es. Isti fumus erunt in furore meo, ignis ardens tota die.(vulgate) Isaiah 65:5 Which say, Stand apart, come not nere to me: for I am holier then thou: these are a smoke in my wrath & a fire that burneth all the day.(Geneva) Isa 65:5 und sprechen: "Bleibe daheim und rühre mich nicht an; denn ich bin heilig." These are smoke in My nostrils, A fire that burns all the day.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:6 ============ Isa 65:6 "Behold, it is written before Me, I will not keep silent, but I will repay; I will even repay into their bosom, (nas) Isa 65:6 ἰδοὺ γέγραπται ἐνώπιόν μου οὐ σιωπήσω ἕως ἂν ἀποδῶ εἰς τὸν κόλπον αὐτῶν (lxx) Isa 65:6 Ecce scriptum est coram me: Non tacebo, sed reddam, et retribuam in sinum eorum.(vulgate) Isaiah 65:6 Beholde, it is written before me: I wil not keepe silence, but will render it and recompense it into their bosome.(Geneva) Isa 65:6 Siehe, es steht vor mir geschrieben: Ich will nicht schweigen, sondern bezahlen; ja, ich will ihnen in ihren Busen bezahlen,(dhs) Isa 65:6 "Behold, it is written before Me: I will not keep silence, but will repay-- Even repay into their bosom--(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:7 ============ Isa 65:7 Both their own iniquities and the iniquities of their fathers together," says the Lord." (nas) Isa 65:8 οὕτως λέγει κύριος ὃν τρόπον εὑρεθήσεται ὁ ῥὼξ ἐν τῷ βότρυι καὶ ἐροῦσιν μὴ λυμήνῃ αὐτὸν ὅτι εὐλογία κυρίου ἐστὶν ἐν αὐτῷ οὕτως ποιήσω ἕνεκεν τοῦ δουλεύοντός μοι τούτου ἕνεκεν οὐ μὴ ἀπολέσω πάντας (lxx) Isa 65:8 Hæc dicit Dominus: Quomodo si inveniatur granum in botro, et dicatur: Ne dissipes illud, quoniam benedictio est: sic faciam propter servos meos, ut non disperdam totum.(vulgate) Isaiah 65:8 Thus sayth the Lord, As the wine is found in the cluster, and one sayth, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it, so will I doe for my seruants sakes, that I may not destroy them whole.(Geneva) Isa 65:8 So spricht der HERR: Gleich als wenn man Most in der Traube findet und spricht: "Verderbe es nicht, denn es ist ein Segen darin!", also will ich um meiner Knechte willen tun, daß ich es nicht alles verderbe,(dhs) Isa 65:8 Thus says the Lord: "As the new wine is found in the cluster, And one says, 'Do not destroy it, For a blessing is in it,' So will I do for My servants' sake, That I may not destroy them all.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:9 ============ Isa 65:9 "I will bring forth offspring from Jacob, And an heir of My mountains from Judah; Even My chosen ones shall inherit it, And My servants will dwell there. (nas) Isa 65:9 καὶ ἐξάξω τὸ ἐξ Ιακωβ σπέρμα καὶ τὸ ἐξ Ιουδα καὶ κληρονομήσει τὸ ὄρος τὸ ἅγιόν μου καὶ κληρονομήσουσιν οἱ ἐκλεκτοί μου καὶ οἱ δοῦλοί μου καὶ κατοικήσουσιν ἐκεῖ (lxx) Isa 65:9 Et educam de Jacob semen, et de Juda possidentem montes meos; et hæreditabunt eam electi mei, et servi mei habitabunt ibi.(vulgate) Isaiah 65:9 But I will bring a seede out of Iaakob, and out of Iudah, that shal inherit my mountaine: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my seruants shall dwell there.(Geneva) Isa 65:9 sondern will aus Jakob Samen wachsen lassen und aus Juda, der meinen Berg besitze; denn meine Auserwählten sollen ihn besitzen, und meine Knechte sollen daselbst wohnen.(dhs) Isa 65:9 I will bring forth descendants from Jacob, And from Judah an heir of My mountains; My elect shall inherit it, And My servants shall dwell there.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:10 ============ Isa 65:10 "Sharon will be a pasture land for flocks, And the valley of Achor a resting place for herds, For My people who seek Me. (nas) Isa 65:10 καὶ ἔσονται ἐν τῷ δρυμῷ ἐπαύλεις ποιμνίων καὶ φάραγξ Αχωρ εἰς ἀνάπαυσιν βουκολίων τῷ λαῷ μου οἳ ἐζήτησάν με (lxx) Isa 65:10 Et erunt campestria in caulas gregum, et vallis Achor in cubile armentorum, populo meo qui requisierunt me.(vulgate) Isaiah 65:10 And Sharon shalbe a sheepefolde, and the valley of Achor shalbe a resting place for the cattell of my people, that haue sought me.(Geneva) Isa 65:10 Und Saron soll eine Weide für die Herde und das Tal Achor soll zum Viehlager werden meinem Volk, das mich sucht.(dhs) Isa 65:10 Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, And the Valley of Achor a place for herds to lie down, For My people who have sought Me.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:11 ============ Isa 65:11 "But you who forsake the Lord, Who forget My holy mountain, Who set a table for Fortune, And who fill cups with mixed wine for Destiny, (nas) Isa 65:11 ὑμεῖς δὲ οἱ ἐγκαταλιπόντες με καὶ ἐπιλανθανόμενοι τὸ ὄρος τὸ ἅγιόν μου καὶ ἑτοιμάζοντες τῷ δαίμονι τράπεζαν καὶ πληροῦντες τῇ τύχῃ κέρασμα (lxx) Isa 65:11 Et vos qui dereliquistis Dominum, qui obliti estis montem sanctum meum, qui ponitis fortunæ mensam, et libatis super eam:(vulgate) Isaiah 65:11 But ye are they that haue forsaken the Lord and forgotten mine holy Mountaine, and haue prepared a table for the multitude, and furnish the drinke offerings vnto the number.(Geneva) Isa 65:11 Aber ihr, die ihr den HERRN verlasset und meines heiligen Berges vergesset und richtet dem Gad einen Tisch und schenkt vom Trankopfer voll ein der Meni,(dhs) Isa 65:11 "But you are those who forsake the Lord, Who forget My holy mountain, Who prepare a table for Gad, And who furnish a drink offering for Meni.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:12 ============ Isa 65:12 I will destine you for the sword, And all of you will bow down to the slaughter. Because I called, but you did not answer; I spoke, but you did not hear. And you did evil in My sight And chose that in which I did not delight."(nas) Isa 65:12 ἐγὼ παραδώσω ὑμᾶς εἰς μάχαιραν πάντες ἐν σφαγῇ πεσεῖσθε ὅτι ἐκάλεσα ὑμᾶς καὶ οὐχ ὑπηκούσατε ἐλάλησα καὶ παρηκούσατε καὶ ἐποιήσατε τὸ πονηρὸν ἐναντίον ἐμοῦ καὶ ἃ οὐκ ἐβουλόμην ἐξελέξασθε (lxx) Isa 65:12 numerabo vos in gladio, et omnes in cæde corruetis: pro eo quod vocavi, et non respondistis; locutus sum, et non audistis; et faciebatis malum in oculis meis, et quæ nolui elegistis.(vulgate) Isaiah 65:12 Therefore wil I number you to the sword, and all you shal bowe downe to the slaughter, because I called, and ye did not answere: I spake, and ye heard not, but did euil in my sight, and did chuse that thing which I would not.(Geneva) Isa 65:12 wohlan ich will euch zählen zum Schwert, daß ihr euch alle bücken müßt zur Schlachtung, darum daß ich rief, und ihr antwortetet nicht, daß ich redete, und ihr hörtet nicht, sonder tatet, was mir übel gefiel, und erwähltet, was mir nicht gefiel.(dhs) Isa 65:12 Therefore I will number you for the sword, And you shall all bow down to the slaughter; Because, when I called, you did not answer; When I spoke, you did not hear, But did evil before My eyes, And chose that in which I do not delight."(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:13 ============ Isa 65:13 Therefore, thus says the Lord God, "Behold, My servants will eat, but you will be hungry. Behold, My servants will drink, but you will be thirsty. Behold, My servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame. (nas) Isa 65:14 ἰδοὺ οἱ δουλεύοντές μοι ἀγαλλιάσονται ἐν εὐφροσύνῃ ὑμεῖς δὲ κεκράξεσθε διὰ τὸν πόνον τῆς καρδίας ὑμῶν καὶ ἀπὸ συντριβῆς πνεύματος ὀλολύξετε (lxx) Isa 65:14 ecce servi mei lætabuntur, et vos confundemini; ecce servi mei laudabunt præ exsultatione cordis, et vos clamabitis præ dolore cordis, et præ contritione spiritus ululabitis,(vulgate) Isaiah 65:14 Beholde, my seruants shal sing for ioye of heart, and ye shal crye for sorow of heart, and shal howle for vexation of minde.(Geneva) Isa 65:14 siehe, meine Knechte sollen vor gutem Mut jauchzen, ihr aber sollt vor Herzeleid schreien und vor Jammer heulen(dhs) Isa 65:14 Behold, My servants shall sing for joy of heart, But you shall cry for sorrow of heart, And wail for grief of spirit.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:15 ============ Isa 65:15 "You will leave your name for a curse to My chosen ones, And the Lord God will slay you. But My servants will be called by another name. (nas) Isa 65:15 καταλείψετε γὰρ τὸ ὄνομα ὑμῶν εἰς πλησμονὴν τοῖς ἐκλεκτοῖς μου ὑμᾶς δὲ ἀνελεῖ κύριος τοῖς δὲ δουλεύουσιν αὐτῷ κληθήσεται ὄνομα καινόν (lxx) Isa 65:15 et dimittetis nomen vestrum in juramentum electis meis; et interficiet te Dominus Deus, et servos suos vocabit nomine alio:(vulgate) Isaiah 65:15 And ye shal leaue your name as a curse vnto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay you and call his seruants by another name.(Geneva) Isa 65:15 und sollt euren Namen lassen meinen Auserwählten zum Schwur; und der HERR wird dich töten und seine Knechte mit einem andern Namen nennen,(dhs) Isa 65:15 You shall leave your name as a curse to My chosen; For the Lord God will slay you, And call His servants by another name;(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:16 ============ Isa 65:16 "Because he who is blessed in the earth Will be blessed by the God of truth; And he who swears in the earth Will swear by the God of truth; Because the former troubles are forgotten, And because they are hidden from My sight! (nas) Isa 65:16 ὃ εὐλογηθήσεται ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς εὐλογήσουσιν γὰρ τὸν θεὸν τὸν ἀληθινόν καὶ οἱ ὀμνύοντες ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ὀμοῦνται τὸν θεὸν τὸν ἀληθινόν ἐπιλήσονται γὰρ τὴν θλῖψιν αὐτῶν τὴν πρώτην καὶ οὐκ ἀναβήσεται αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν καρδίαν (lxx) Isa 65:16 in quo qui benedictus est super terram benedicetur in Deo, amen, et qui jurat in terra jurabit in Deo, amen: quia oblivioni traditæ sunt angustiæ priores, et quia absconditæ sunt ab oculis meis.(vulgate) Isaiah 65:16 He that shal blesse in the earth, shal blesse himselfe in the true God, and he that sweareth in the earth, shall sweare by the true God: for the former troubles are forgotten, and shall surely hide themselues from mine eyes.(Geneva) Isa 65:16 daß, welcher sie segnen wird auf Erden, der wird sich in dem wahrhaftigen Gott segnen, und welcher schwören wird auf Erden, der wird bei dem wahrhaftigen Gott schwören; denn der vorigen Ängste ist vergessen, und sie sind vor meinen Augen verborgen.(dhs) Isa 65:16 So that he who blesses himself in the earth Shall bless himself in the God of truth; And he who swears in the earth Shall swear by the God of truth; Because the former troubles are forgotten, And because they are hidden from My eyes.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:17 ============ Isa 65:17 "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former things will not be remembered or come to mind. (nas) Isa 65:17 ἔσται γὰρ ὁ οὐρανὸς καινὸς καὶ ἡ γῆ καινή καὶ οὐ μὴ μνησθῶσιν τῶν προτέρων οὐδ᾽ οὐ μὴ ἐπέλθῃ αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν καρδίαν (lxx) Isa 65:17 Ecce enim ego creo cælos novos, et terram novam; et non erunt in memoria priora, et non ascendent super cor.(vulgate) Isaiah 65:17 For lo, I will create newe heauens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembred nor come into minde.(Geneva) Isa 65:17 Denn siehe, ich will einen neuen Himmel und eine neue Erde schaffen, daß man der vorigen nicht mehr gedenken wird noch sie zu Herzen nehmen;(dhs) Isa 65:17 "For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:18 ============ Isa 65:18 "But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I create Jerusalem for rejoicing And her people for gladness. (nas) Isa 65:18 ἀλλ᾽ εὐφροσύνην καὶ ἀγαλλίαμα εὑρήσουσιν ἐν αὐτῇ ὅτι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ποιῶ Ιερουσαλημ ἀγαλλίαμα καὶ τὸν λαόν μου εὐφροσύνην (lxx) Isa 65:18 Sed gaudebitis et exsultabitis usque in sempiternum in his quæ ego creo: quia ecce ego creo Jerusalem exsultationem, et populum ejus gaudium.(vulgate) Isaiah 65:18 But be you glad and reioyce for euer in the things that I shall create: for beholde, I will create Ierusalem, as a reioycing and her people as a ioye,(Geneva) Isa 65:18 sondern sie werden sich ewiglich freuen und fröhlich sein über dem, was ich schaffe. Denn siehe, ich will Jerusalem schaffen zur Wonne und ihr Volk zur Freude,(dhs) Isa 65:18 But be glad and rejoice forever in what I create; For behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing, And her people a joy.(nkjv) ======= Isaiah 65:19 ============ Isa 65:19 "I will also rejoice in Jerusalem and be glad in My people; And there will no longer be heard in her The voice of weeping and the sound of crying.
