(nas) Mic 1:2 ἀκούσατε λαοί λόγους καὶ προσεχέτω ἡ γῆ καὶ πάντες οἱ ἐν αὐτῇ καὶ ἔσται κύριος ἐν ὑμῖν εἰς μαρτύριον κύριος ἐξ οἴκου ἁγίου αὐτοῦ (lxx) Mic 1:2 [Audite, populi omnes, et attendat terra, et plenitudo ejus: et sit Dominus Deus vobis in testem, Dominus de templo sancto suo.(vulgate) Micah 1:2 Heare, al ye people: hearke thou, O earth, & all that therein is, & let the Lord God be witnes against you, euen ye Lord from his holy Teple.(Geneva) Mic 1:2 Hört, alle Völker! merke auf, Land, und alles, was darinnen ist! denn Gott der HERR hat mit euch zu reden, ja, der HERR aus seinem heiligen Tempel.(dhs) Mic 1:2 Hear, all you peoples! He will come down and tread on the high places of the earth. (nas) Mic 1:3 διότι ἰδοὺ κύριος ἐκπορεύεται ἐκ τοῦ τόπου αὐτοῦ καὶ καταβήσεται καὶ ἐπιβήσεται ἐπὶ τὰ ὕψη τῆς γῆς (lxx) Mic 1:3 Quia ecce Dominus egredietur de loco suo, et descendet, et calcabit super excelsa terræ.(vulgate) Micah 1:3 For beholde, the Lorde commeth out of his place, and will come downe, and tread vpon the hie places of the earth.(Geneva) Mic 1:3 Denn siehe, der HERR wird ausgehen aus seinem Ort und herabfahren und treten auf die Höhen im Lande,(dhs) Mic 1:3 For behold, the Lord is coming out of His place; He will come down And tread on the high places of the earth.(nkjv) ======= Micah 1:4 ============ Mic 1:4 The mountains will melt under Him And the valleys will be split, Like wax before the fire, Like water poured down a steep place. (nas) Mic 1:4 καὶ σαλευθήσεται τὰ ὄρη ὑποκάτωθεν αὐτοῦ καὶ αἱ κοιλάδες τακήσονται ὡς κηρὸς ἀπὸ προσώπου πυρὸς καὶ ὡς ὕδωρ καταφερόμενον ἐν καταβάσει (lxx) Mic 1:4 Et consumentur montes subtus eum, et valles scindentur sicut cera a facie ignis, et sicut aquæ quæ decurrunt in præceps.(vulgate) Micah 1:4 And the mountaines shall melt vnder him (so shall the valleys cleaue) as waxe before the fire, and as the waters that are powred downewarde.(Geneva) Mic 1:4 daß die Berge unter ihm schmelzen und die Täler reißend werden, gleichwie Wachs vor dem Feuer zerschmilzt, wie die Wasser, so niederwärts fließen.(dhs) Mic 1:4 The mountains will melt under Him, And the valleys will split Like wax before the fire, Like waters poured down a steep place.(nkjv) ======= Micah 1:5 ============ Mic 1:5 All this is for the rebellion of Jacob And for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the rebellion of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? What is the high place of Judah? Is it not Jerusalem? (nas) Mic 1:5 διὰ ἀσέβειαν Ιακωβ πάντα ταῦτα καὶ διὰ ἁμαρτίαν οἴκου Ισραηλ τίς ἡ ἀσέβεια τοῦ Ιακωβ οὐ Σαμάρεια καὶ τίς ἡ ἁμαρτία οἴκου Ιουδα οὐχὶ Ιερουσαλημ (lxx) Mic 1:5 In scelere Jacob omne istud, et in peccatis domus Israël. Quod scelus Jacob? nonne Samaria? et quæ excelsa Judæ? nonne Jerusalem?(vulgate) Micah 1:5 For the wickednes of Iaakob is all this, & for the sinnes of the house of Israel: what is the wickednes of Iaakob? Is not Samaria? & which are the hie places of Iudah? Is not Ierusalem?(Geneva) Mic 1:5 Das alles um der Übertretung willen Jakobs und um der Sünden willen des Hauses Israel. Welches ist aber die Übertretung Jakobs? Ist's nicht Samaria? Welches sind aber die Höhen Juda's? Ist's nicht Jerusalem?(dhs) Mic 1:5 All this is for the transgression of Jacob And for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Are they not Jerusalem?(nkjv) ======= Micah 1:6 ============ Mic 1:6 For I will make Samaria a heap of ruins in the open country, Planting places for a vineyard. I will pour her stones down into the valley And will lay bare her foundations. (nas) Mic 1:6 καὶ θήσομαι Σαμάρειαν εἰς ὀπωροφυλάκιον ἀγροῦ καὶ εἰς φυτείαν ἀμπελῶνος καὶ κατασπάσω εἰς χάος τοὺς λίθους αὐτῆς καὶ τὰ θεμέλια αὐτῆς ἀποκαλύψω (lxx) Mic 1:6 Et ponam Samariam quasi acervum lapidum in agro, cum plantatur vinea; et detraham in vallem lapides ejus, et fundamenta ejus revelabo.(vulgate) Micah 1:6 Therefore I wil make Samaria as an heape of the fielde, and for the planting of a vineyard, and I will cause the stones thereof to tumble downe into the valley, and I will discouer the foundations thereof.(Geneva) Mic 1:6 Und ich will Samaria zum Steinhaufen im Felde machen, daß man ihre Steine um die Weinberge legt, und will ihre Steine ins Tal schleifen und sie bis zum Grund einbrechen.(dhs) Mic 1:6 "Therefore I will make Samaria a heap of ruins in the field, Places for planting a vineyard; I will pour down her stones into the valley, And I will uncover her foundations.(nkjv) ======= Micah 1:7 ============ Mic 1:7 All of her idols will be smashed, All of her earnings will be burned with fire And all of her images I will make desolate, For she collected them from a harlot's earnings, And to the earnings of a harlot they will return. (nas) Mic 1:7 καὶ πάντα τὰ γλυπτὰ αὐτῆς κατακόψουσιν καὶ πάντα τὰ μισθώματα αὐτῆς ἐμπρήσουσιν ἐν πυρί καὶ πάντα τὰ εἴδωλα αὐτῆς θήσομαι εἰς ἀφανισμόν διότι ἐκ μισθωμάτων πορνείας συνήγαγεν καὶ ἐκ μισθωμάτων πορνείας συνέστρεψεν (lxx) Mic 1:7 Et omnia sculptilia ejus concidentur, et omnes mercedes ejus comburentur igne, et omnia idola ejus ponam in perditionem, quia de mercedibus meretricis congregata sunt, et usque ad mercedem meretricis revertentur.(vulgate) Micah 1:7 And all the grauen images thereof shalbe broken, and all the giftes thereof shalbe burnt with the fire, and all the idoles thereof will I destroy: for she gathered it of the hire of an harlot, and they shal returne to the wages of an harlot.(Geneva) Mic 1:7 Alle ihre Götzen sollen zerbrochen und all ihr Hurenlohn soll mit Feuer verbrannt werden; und ich will ihre Bilder verwüsten, denn sie sind von Hurenlohn zusammengebracht und sollen auch wieder Hurenlohn werden.(dhs) Mic 1:7 All her carved images shall be beaten to pieces, And all her pay as a harlot shall be burned with the fire; All her idols I will lay desolate, For she gathered it from the pay of a harlot, And they shall return to the pay of a harlot."(nkjv) ======= Micah 1:8 ============ Mic 1:8 Because of this I must lament and wail, I must go barefoot and naked; I must make a lament like the jackals And a mourning like the ostriches. (nas) Mic 1:8 ἕνεκεν τούτου κόψεται καὶ θρηνήσει πορεύσεται ἀνυπόδετος καὶ γυμνή ποιήσεται κοπετὸν ὡς δρακόντων καὶ πένθος ὡς θυγατέρων σειρήνων (lxx) Mic 1:8 Super hoc plangam, et ululabo; vadam spoliatus, et nudus; faciam planctum velut draconum, et luctum quasi struthionum:(vulgate) Micah 1:8 Therefore I will mourne and howle: I wil goe without clothes, and naked: I will make lamentation like the dragons, and mourning as the ostriches.(Geneva) Mic 1:8 Darüber muß ich klagen und heulen, ich muß beraubt und bloß dahergehen; ich muß klagen wie die Schakale und trauern wie die Strauße.(dhs) Mic 1:8 Therefore I will wail and howl, I will go stripped and naked; I will make a wailing like the jackals And a mourning like the ostriches,(nkjv) ======= Micah 1:9 ============ Mic 1:9 For her wound is incurable, For it has come to Judah; It has reached the gate of my people, Even to Jerusalem. (nas) Mic 1:9 ὅτι κατεκράτησεν ἡ πληγὴ αὐτῆς διότι ἦλθεν ἕως Ιουδα καὶ ἥψατο ἕως πύλης λαοῦ μου ἕως Ιερουσαλημ (lxx) Mic 1:9 quia desperata est plaga ejus, quia venit usque ad Judam; tetigit portam populi mei usque ad Jerusalem.(vulgate) Micah 1:9 For her plagues are grieuous: for it is come into Iudah: the enemie is come vnto the gate of my people, vnto Ierusalem.(Geneva) Mic 1:9 Denn es ist kein Rat für ihre Plage, die bis gen Juda kommen und bis an meines Volkes Tor, bis Jerusalem hinanreichen wird.(dhs) Mic 1:9 For her wounds are incurable. At Beth-le-aphrah roll yourself in the dust. (nas) Mic 1:10 οἱ ἐν Γεθ μὴ μεγαλύνεσθε οἱ ἐν Ακιμ μὴ ἀνοικοδομεῖτε ἐξ οἴκου κατὰ γέλωτα γῆν καταπάσασθε κατὰ γέλωτα ὑμῶν (lxx) Mic 1:10 In Geth nolite annuntiare; lacrimis ne ploretis; in domo pulveris pulvere vos conspergite.(vulgate) Micah 1:10 Declare ye it not at Gath, neither weepe ye: for the house of Aphrah roule thy selfe in the dust.(Geneva) Mic 1:10 Verkündigt's ja nicht zu Gath; laßt euer Weinen nicht hören zu Akko; in Beth-Leaphra setzt euch in die Asche.(dhs) Mic 1:10 Tell it not in Gath, Weep not at all; In Beth Aphrah Roll yourself in the dust.(nkjv) ======= Micah 1:11 ============ Mic 1:11 Go on your way, inhabitant of Shaphir, in shameful nakedness. The inhabitant of Zaanan does not escape. The lamentation of Beth-ezel: "He will take from you its support."(nas) Mic 1:11 κατοικοῦσα καλῶς τὰς πόλεις αὐτῆς οὐκ ἐξῆλθεν κατοικοῦσα Σεννααν κόψασθαι οἶκον ἐχόμενον αὐτῆς λήμψεται ἐξ ὑμῶν πληγὴν ὀδύνης (lxx) Mic 1:11 Et transite vobis, habitatio pulchra, confusa ignominia: non est egressa quæ habitat in exitu: planctum domus vicina accipiet ex vobis, quæ stetit sibimet.(vulgate) Micah 1:11 Thou that dwellest at Shaphir, go together naked with shame: she that dwelleth at Zaanan, shal not come forth in ye mourning of Beth-ezel: the enemie shall receiue of you for his standing.(Geneva) Mic 1:11 Du Einwohnerin Saphirs mußt dahin mit allen Schanden; die Einwohnerin Zaenans wird nicht ausziehen; das Leid Beth-Haezels wird euch wehren, daß ihr da euch lagert.(dhs) Mic 1:11 Pass by in naked shame, you inhabitant of Shaphir; The inhabitant of Zaanan does not go out. Beth Ezel mourns; Its place to stand is taken away from you.(nkjv) ======= Micah 1:12 ============ Mic 1:12 For the inhabitant of Maroth Becomes weak waiting for good, Because a calamity has come down from the Lord To the gate of Jerusalem. (nas) Mic 1:12 τίς ἤρξατο εἰς ἀγαθὰ κατοικούσῃ ὀδύνας ὅτι κατέβη κακὰ παρὰ κυρίου ἐπὶ πύλας Ιερουσαλημ (lxx) Mic 1:12 Quia infirmata est in bonum, quæ habitat in amaritudinibus; quia descendit malum a Domino in portam Jerusalem.(vulgate) Micah 1:12 For the inhabitant of Maroth wayted for good, but euill came from the Lorde vnto the gate of Ierusalem.(Geneva) Mic 1:12 Die Einwohnerin Maroths vermag sich nicht zu trösten; denn es wird das Unglück vom Herrn kommen auch bis an das Tor Jerusalems.(dhs) Mic 1:12 For the inhabitant of Maroth pined for good, But disaster came down from the Lord To the gate of Jerusalem.(nkjv) ======= Micah 1:13 ============ Mic 1:13 Harness the chariot to the team of horses, O inhabitant of Lachish-- She was the beginning of sin To the daughter of Zion-- Because in you were found The rebellious acts of Israel. (nas) Mic 1:13 ψόφος ἁρμάτων καὶ ἱππευόντων κατοικοῦσα Λαχις ἀρχηγὸς ἁμαρτίας αὐτή ἐστιν τῇ θυγατρὶ Σιων ὅτι ἐν σοὶ εὑρέθησαν ἀσέβειαι τοῦ Ισραηλ (lxx) Mic 1:13 Tumultus quadrigæ stuporis habitanti Lachis: principium peccati est filiæ Sion, quia in te inventa sunt scelera Israël.(vulgate) Micah 1:13 O thou inhabitant of Lachish, binde the charet to the beastes of price: she is the beginning of the sinne to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.(Geneva) Mic 1:13 Du Stadt Lachis, spanne Renner an und fahre davon! denn du bist der Tochter Zion der Anfang zur Sünde, und in dir sind gefunden die Übertretungen Israels.(dhs) Mic 1:13 O inhabitant of Lachish, Harness the chariot to the swift steeds (She was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion), For the transgressions of Israel were found in you.(nkjv) ======= Micah 1:14 ============ Mic 1:14 Therefore you will give parting gifts On behalf of Moresheth-gath; The houses of Achzib will become a deception To the kings of Israel. (nas) Mic 1:14 διὰ τοῦτο δώσεις ἐξαποστελλομένους ἕως κληρονομίας Γεθ οἴκους ματαίους εἰς κενὰ ἐγένετο τοῖς βασιλεῦσιν τοῦ Ισραηλ (lxx) Mic 1:14 Propterea dabit emissarios super hæreditatem Geth, domus mendacii in deceptionem regibus Israël.(vulgate) Micah 1:14 Therefore shalt thou giue presents to Moresheth Gath: the houses of Achzib shalbe as a lye to the Kings of Israel.(Geneva) Mic 1:14 Du wirst dich müssen scheiden von Moreseth-Gath. Mit der Stadt Achsib wird's den Königen Israels fehlgehen.(dhs) Mic 1:14 Therefore you shall give presents to Moresheth Gath; The houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.(nkjv) ======= Micah 1:15 ============ Mic 1:15 Moreover, I will bring on you The one who takes possession, O inhabitant of Mareshah. The glory of Israel will enter Adullam. (nas) Mic 1:15 ἕως τοὺς κληρονόμους ἀγάγω σοι κατοικοῦσα Λαχις κληρονομία ἕως Οδολλαμ ἥξει ἡ δόξα τῆς θυγατρὸς Ισραηλ (lxx) Mic 1:15 Adhuc hæredem adducam tibi quæ habitas in Maresa; usque ad Odollam veniet gloria Israël.(vulgate) Micah 1:15 Yet will I bring an heire vnto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah, he shall come vnto Adullam, the glorie of Israel.(Geneva) Mic 1:15 Ich will dir, Maresa, den rechten Erben bringen und die Herrlichkeit Israels soll kommen bis gen Adullam.(dhs) Mic 1:15 I will yet bring an heir to you, O inhabitant of Mareshah; The glory of Israel shall come to Adullam.(nkjv) ======= Micah 1:16 ============ Mic 1:16 Make yourself bald and cut off your hair, Because of the children of your delight; Extend your baldness like the eagle, For they will go from you into exile. When morning comes, they do it, For it is in the power of their hands. (nas) Mic 2:1 ἐγένοντο λογιζόμενοι κόπους καὶ ἐργαζόμενοι κακὰ ἐν ταῖς κοίταις αὐτῶν καὶ ἅμα τῇ ἡμέρᾳ συνετέλουν αὐτά διότι οὐκ ἦραν πρὸς τὸν θεὸν τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῶν (lxx) Mic 2:1 [Væ qui cogitatis inutile, et operamini malum in cubilibus vestris! In luce matutina faciunt illud, quoniam contra Deum est manus eorum.(vulgate) Micah 2:1 Wo vnto them, that imagine iniquitie, and worke wickednesse vpon their beddes: when the morning is light they practise it because their hande hath power.(Geneva) Mic 2:1 Weh denen, die Schaden zu tun trachten und gehen mit bösen Tücken um auf ihrem Lager, daß sie es früh, wenn's licht wird, vollbringen, weil sie die Macht haben.(dhs) Mic 2:1 Woe to those who devise iniquity, And work out evil on their beds!
