Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 21:1 ============ Eze 21:1 And the word of the Lord came to me saying, (nasb) Eze 21:1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying, (nkjv) Eze 21:1 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:(dhs) Eze 21:1 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:2 ============ Eze 21:2 "Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, and speak against the sanctuaries and prophesy against the land of Israel; (nasb) Eze 21:2 "Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, preach against the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel; (nkjv) Eze 21:2 Du Menschenkind, richte dein Angesicht wider Jerusalem und predige wider die Heiligtümer und weissage wider das Land Israel(dhs) Eze 21:2 υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου στήρισον τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἐπὶ Θαιμαν καὶ ἐπίβλεψον ἐπὶ Δαρωμ καὶ προφήτευσον ἐπὶ δρυμὸν ἡγούμενον Ναγεβ (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:3 ============ Eze 21:3 and say to the land of Israel, 'Thus says the Lord, "Behold, I am against you; and I will draw My sword out of its sheath and cut off from you the righteous and the wicked. (nasb) Eze 21:3 and say to the land of Israel, 'Thus says the Lord: "Behold, I am against you, and I will draw My sword out of its sheath and cut off both righteous and wicked from you. (nkjv) Eze 21:3 und sprich zum Lande Israel: So spricht der HERR HERR: Siehe, ich will an dich; ich will mein Schwert aus der Scheide ziehen und will in dir ausrotten beide, Gerechte und Ungerechte.(dhs) Eze 21:3 καὶ ἐρεῖς τῷ δρυμῷ Ναγεβ ἄκουε λόγον κυρίου τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἀνάπτω ἐν σοὶ πῦρ καὶ καταφάγεται ἐν σοὶ πᾶν ξύλον χλωρὸν καὶ πᾶν ξύλον ξηρόν οὐ σβεσθήσεται ἡ φλὸξ ἡ ἐξαφθεῖσα καὶ κατακαυθήσεται ἐν αὐτῇ πᾶν πρόσωπον ἀπὸ ἀπηλιώτου ἕως βορρᾶ (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:4 ============ Eze 21:4 Because I will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked, therefore My sword will go forth from its sheath against all flesh from south to north. (nasb) Eze 21:4 Because I will cut off both righteous and wicked from you, therefore My sword shall go out of its sheath against all flesh from south to north, (nkjv) Eze 21:4 Weil ich denn in dir Gerechte und Ungerechte ausrotte, so wird mein Schwert aus der Scheide fahren über alles Fleisch, von Mittag her bis gen Mitternacht.(dhs) Eze 21:4 καὶ ἐπιγνώσονται πᾶσα σὰρξ ὅτι ἐγὼ κύριος ἐξέκαυσα αὐτό καὶ οὐ σβεσθήσεται (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:5 ============ Eze 21:5 Thus all flesh will know that I, the Lord, have drawn My sword out of its sheath. It will not return to its sheath again."' (nasb) Eze 21:5 that all flesh may know that I, the Lord, have drawn My sword out of its sheath; it shall not return anymore." ' (nkjv) Eze 21:5 Und soll alles Fleisch erfahren, daß ich, der HERR, mein Schwert habe aus der Scheide gezogen; und es soll nicht wieder eingesteckt werden.(dhs) Eze 21:5 καὶ εἶπα μηδαμῶς κύριε κύριε αὐτοὶ λέγουσιν πρός με οὐχὶ παραβολή ἐστιν λεγομένη αὕτη (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:6 ============ Eze 21:6 As for you, son of man, groan with breaking heart and bitter grief, groan in their sight. (nasb) Eze 21:6 Sigh therefore, son of man, with a breaking heart, and sigh with bitterness before their eyes. (nkjv) Eze 21:6 Und du, Menschenkind, sollst seufzen, bis dir die Lenden weh tun, ja, bitterlich sollst du seufzen, daß sie es sehen.(dhs) Eze 21:6 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:7 ============ Eze 21:7 And when they say to you, 'Why do you groan?'you shall say, 'Because of the news that is coming; and every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it comes and it will happen, 'declares the Lord God." (nasb) Eze 21:7 And it shall be when they say to you, 'Why are you sighing?' that you shall answer, 'Because of the news; when it comes, every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it is coming and shall be brought to pass,' says the Lord God." (nkjv) Eze 21:7 Und wenn sie zu dir sagen werden: Warum seufzest du? sollst du sagen: Um des Geschreis willen, das da kommt, vor welchem alle Herzen verzagen, und alle Hände sinken, aller Mut fallen und alle Kniee so ungewiß stehen werden wie Wasser. Say, 'A sword, a sword sharpened And also polished! (nasb) Eze 21:9 "Son of man, prophesy and say, 'Thus says the Lord!' Say: 'A sword, a sword is sharpened And also polished! (nkjv) Eze 21:9 Du Menschenkind, weissage und sprich: So spricht der HERR: Sprich: Das Schwert, ja, das Schwert ist geschärft und gefegt.(dhs) Eze 21:9 ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ἐξολεθρεύσω ἐκ σοῦ ἄδικον καὶ ἄνομον οὕτως ἐξελεύσεται τὸ ἐγχειρίδιόν μου ἐκ τοῦ κολεοῦ αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν σάρκα ἀπὸ ἀπηλιώτου ἕως βορρᾶ (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:10 ============ Eze 21:10 'Sharpened to make a slaughter, Polished to flash like lightning!' Or shall we rejoice, the rod of My son despising every tree? (nasb) Eze 21:10 Sharpened to make a dreadful slaughter, Polished to flash like lightning! Should we then make mirth? It despises the scepter of My Son, As it does all wood. (nkjv) Eze 21:10 Es ist geschärft, daß es schlachten soll; es ist gefegt, daß es blinken soll. O wie froh wollten wir sein, wenn er gleich alle Bäume zu Ruten machte über die bösen Kinder!(dhs) Eze 21:10 καὶ ἐπιγνώσεται πᾶσα σὰρξ διότι ἐγὼ κύριος ἐξέσπασα τὸ ἐγχειρίδιόν μου ἐκ τοῦ κολεοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἀποστρέψει οὐκέτι (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:11 ============ Eze 21:11 It is given to be polished, that it may be handled; the sword is sharpened and polished, to give it into the hand of the slayer. (nasb) Eze 21:11 And He has given it to be polished, That it may be handled; This sword is sharpened, and it is polished To be given into the hand of the slayer.' (nkjv) Eze 21:11 Aber er hat ein Schwert zu fegen gegeben, daß man es fassen soll; es ist geschärft und gefegt, daß man's dem Totschläger in die Hand gebe.(dhs) Eze 21:11 καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου καταστέναξον ἐν συντριβῇ ὀσφύος σου καὶ ἐν ὀδύναις στενάξεις κατ᾽ ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτῶν (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:12 ============ Eze 21:12 Cry out and wail, son of man; for it is against My people, it is against all the officials of Israel. They are delivered over to the sword with My people, therefore strike your thigh. (nasb) Eze 21:12 "Cry and wail, son of man; For it will be against My people, Against all the princes of Israel. Terrors including the sword will be against My people; Therefore strike your thigh. (nkjv) Eze 21:12 Schreie und heule, du Menschenkind; denn es geht über mein Volk und über alle Regenten in Israel, die dem Schwert samt meinem Volk verfallen sind. Darum schlage auf deine Lenden.(dhs) Eze 21:12 καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν εἴπωσιν πρὸς σέ ἕνεκα τίνος σὺ στενάζεις καὶ ἐρεῖς ἐπὶ τῇ ἀγγελίᾳ διότι ἔρχεται καὶ θραυσθήσεται πᾶσα καρδία καὶ πᾶσαι χεῖρες παραλυθήσονται καὶ ἐκψύξει πᾶσα σὰρξ καὶ πᾶν πνεῦμα καὶ πάντες μηροὶ μολυνθήσονται ὑγρασίᾳ ἰδοὺ ἔρχεται καὶ ἔσται λέγει κύριος κύριος (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:13 ============ Eze 21:13 For there is a testing; and what if even the rod which despises will be no more?" declares the Lord God. (nasb) Eze 21:13 "Because it is a testing, And what if the sword despises even the scepter? The scepter shall be no more," says the Lord God. (nkjv) Eze 21:13 Denn er hat sie oft gezüchtigt; was hat's geholfen? Es will der bösen Kinder Rute nicht helfen, spricht der HERR HERR.(dhs) Eze 21:13 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:14 ============ Eze 21:14 "You therefore, son of man, prophesy and clap your hands together; and let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword for the slain. It is the sword for the great one slain, which surrounds them, (nasb) Eze 21:14 "You therefore, son of man, prophesy, And strike your hands together. The third time let the sword do double damage. It is the sword that slays, The sword that slays the great men, That enters their private chambers. (nkjv) Eze 21:14 Und du, Menschenkind, weissage und schlage deine Hände zusammen. Denn das Schwert wird zweifach, ja dreifach kommen, ein Würgeschwert, ein Schwert großer Schlacht, das sie auch treffen wird in den Kammern, dahin sie fliehen.(dhs) Eze 21:14 υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου προφήτευσον καὶ ἐρεῖς τάδε λέγει κύριος εἰπόν ῥομφαία ῥομφαία ὀξύνου καὶ θυμώθητι (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:15 ============ Eze 21:15 that their hearts may melt, and many fall at all their gates. I have given the glittering sword. Ah! It is made for striking like lightning, it is wrapped up in readiness for slaughter. (nasb) Eze 21:15 I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, That the heart may melt and many may stumble. Ah! It is made bright; It is grasped for slaughter: (nkjv) Eze 21:15 Ich will das Schwert lassen klingen, daß die Herzen verzagen und viele fallen sollen an allen ihren Toren. Ach, wie glänzt es und haut daher zur Schlacht!(dhs) Eze 21:15 ὅπως σφάξῃς σφάγια ὀξύνου ὅπως γένῃ εἰς στίλβωσιν ἑτοίμη εἰς παράλυσιν σφάζε ἐξουδένει ἀπωθοῦ πᾶν ξύλον (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:16 ============ Eze 21:16 Show yourself sharp, go to the right; set yourself; go to the left, wherever your edge is appointed. (nasb) Eze 21:16 "Swords at the ready! Thrust right! Set your blade! Thrust left-- Wherever your edge is ordered! (nkjv) Eze 21:16 Haue drein, zur Rechten und Linken, was vor dir ist!(dhs) Eze 21:16 καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὴν ἑτοίμην τοῦ κρατεῖν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἐξηκονήθη ῥομφαία ἔστιν ἑτοίμη τοῦ δοῦναι αὐτὴν εἰς χεῖρα ἀποκεντοῦντος (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:17 ============ Eze 21:17 I will also clap My hands together, and I will appease My wrath; I, the Lord, have spoken." (nasb) Eze 21:17 "I also will beat My fists together, And I will cause My fury to rest; I, the Lord, have spoken." Ich, der HERR, habe es gesagt.(dhs) Eze 21:17 ἀνάκραγε καὶ ὀλόλυξον υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου ὅτι αὐτὴ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ λαῷ μου αὐτὴ ἐν πᾶσιν τοῖς ἀφηγουμένοις τοῦ Ισραηλ παροικήσουσιν ἐπὶ ῥομφαίᾳ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ λαῷ μου διὰ τοῦτο κρότησον ἐπὶ τὴν χεῖρά σου (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:18 ============ Eze 21:18 The word of the Lord came to me saying, (nasb) Eze 21:18 The word of the Lord came to me again, saying: (nkjv) Eze 21:18 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:(dhs) Eze 21:18 ὅτι δεδικαίωται καὶ τί εἰ καὶ φυλὴ ἀπώσθη οὐκ ἔσται λέγει κύριος κύριος (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:19 ============ Eze 21:19 "As for you, son of man, make two ways for the sword of the king of Babylon to come; both of them will go out of one land. And make a signpost; make it at the head of the way to the city. (nasb) Eze 21:19 "And son of man, appoint for yourself two ways for the sword of the king of Babylon to go; both of them shall go from the same land. Make a sign; put it at the head of the road to the city. (nkjv) Eze 21:19 Du Menschenkind, mache zwei Wege, durch welche kommen soll das Schwert des Königs zu Babel; sie sollen aber alle beide aus einem Lande gehen.(dhs) Eze 21:19 καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου προφήτευσον καὶ κρότησον χεῖρα ἐπὶ χεῖρα καὶ διπλασίασον ῥομφαίαν ἡ τρίτη ῥομφαία τραυματιῶν ἐστιν ῥομφαία τραυματιῶν ἡ μεγάλη καὶ ἐκστήσει αὐτούς (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:20 ============ Eze 21:20 You shall mark a way for the sword to come to Rabbah of the sons of Ammon, and to Judah into fortified Jerusalem. (nasb) Eze 21:20 Appoint a road for the sword to go to Rabbah of the Ammonites, and to Judah, into fortified Jerusalem. (nkjv) Eze 21:20 Und stelle ein Zeichen vorn an den Weg zur Stadt, dahin es weisen soll; und mache den Weg, daß das Schwert komme gen Rabba der Kinder Ammon und nach Juda, zu der festen Stadt Jerusalem.(dhs) Eze 21:20 ὅπως θραυσθῇ ἡ καρδία καὶ πληθυνθῶσιν οἱ ἀσθενοῦντες ἐπὶ πᾶσαν πύλην αὐτῶν παραδέδονται εἰς σφάγια ῥομφαίας εὖ γέγονεν εἰς σφαγήν εὖ γέγονεν εἰς στίλβωσιν (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:21 ============ Eze 21:21 For the king of Babylon stands at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination; he shakes the arrows, he consults the household idols, he looks at the liver. (nkjv) Eze 21:21 Denn der König zu Babel wird sich an die Wegscheide stellen, vorn an den zwei Wegen, daß er sich wahrsagen lasse, mit den Pfeilen das Los werfe, seinen Abgott frage und schaue die Leber an.(dhs) Eze 21:21 διαπορεύου ὀξύνου ἐκ δεξιῶν καὶ ἐξ εὐωνύμων οὗ ἂν τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἐξεγείρηται (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:22 ============ Eze 21:22 Into his right hand came the divination, 'Jerusalem,' to set battering rams, to open the mouth for slaughter, to lift up the voice with a battle cry, to set battering rams against the gates, to cast up ramps, to build a siege wall. (nkjv) Eze 21:22 Und die Wahrsagung wird auf die rechte Seite gen Jerusalem deuten, daß er solle Sturmböcke hinanführen lassen und Löcher machen und mit großem Geschrei sie überfalle und morde, und daß er Böcke führen soll wider die Tore und da Wall aufschütte und Bollwerk baue.(dhs) Eze 21:22 καὶ ἐγὼ δὲ κροτήσω χεῖρά μου πρὸς χεῖρά μου καὶ ἐναφήσω τὸν θυμόν μου ἐγὼ κύριος λελάληκα (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:23 ============ Eze 21:23 And it will be to them like a false divination in their eyes; they have sworn solemn oaths. But he brings iniquity to remembrance, that they may be seized. (nkjv) Eze 21:23 Aber es wird sie solches Wahrsagen falsch dünken, er schwöre, wie teuer er will. Er aber wird denken an die Missetat, daß er sie gewinne.(dhs) Eze 21:23 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:24 ============ Eze 21:24 "Therefore, thus says the Lord God, 'Because you have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are uncovered, so that in all your deeds your sins appear--because you have come to remembrance, you will be seized with the hand. (nasb) Eze 21:24 "Therefore thus says the Lord God: 'Because you have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are uncovered, so that in all your doings your sins appear--because you have come to remembrance, you shall be taken in hand. (nkjv) Eze 21:24 Darum spricht der HERR HERR also: Darum daß euer gedacht wird um eure Missetat und euer Ungehorsam offenbart ist, daß man eure Sünden sieht in allem eurem Tun, ja, darum daß euer gedacht wird, werdet ihr mit Gewalt gefangen werden.(dhs) Eze 21:24 καὶ σύ υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου διάταξον σεαυτῷ δύο ὁδοὺς τοῦ εἰσελθεῖν ῥομφαίαν βασιλέως Βαβυλῶνος ἐκ χώρας μιᾶς ἐξελεύσονται αἱ δύο καὶ χεὶρ ἐν ἀρχῇ ὁδοῦ πόλεως ἐπ᾽ ἀρχῆς (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:25 ============ Eze 21:25 And you, O slain, wicked one, the prince of Israel, whose day has come, in the time of the punishment of the end, ' (nasb) Eze 21:25 Now to you, O profane, wicked prince of Israel, whose day has come, whose iniquity shall end, (nkjv) Eze 21:25 Und du, Fürst in Israel, der du verdammt und verurteilt bist, dessen Tag daherkommen wird, wenn die Missetat zum Ende gekommen ist,(dhs) Eze 21:25 ὁδοῦ διατάξεις τοῦ εἰσελθεῖν ῥομφαίαν ἐπὶ Ραββαθ υἱῶν Αμμων καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν Ιουδαίαν καὶ ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:26 ============ Eze 21:26 thus says the Lord God, 'Remove the turban and take off the crown; this will no longer be the same. Exalt that which is low and abase that which is high. (nasb) Eze 21:26 thus says the Lord God: "Remove the turban, and take off the crown; Nothing shall remain the same. Exalt the humble, and humble the exalted. (nkjv) Eze 21:26 so spricht der HERR HERR: Tue weg den Hut und hebe ab die Krone! Denn es wird weder Hut noch die Krone bleiben; sondern der sich erhöht hat, der soll erniedrigt werden, und der sich erniedrigt, soll erhöht werden.(dhs) Eze 21:26 διότι στήσεται βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος ἐπὶ τὴν ἀρχαίαν ὁδὸν ἐπ᾽ ἀρχῆς τῶν δύο ὁδῶν τοῦ μαντεύσασθαι μαντείαν τοῦ ἀναβράσαι ῥάβδον καὶ ἐπερωτῆσαι ἐν τοῖς γλυπτοῖς καὶ ἡπατοσκοπήσασθαι ἐκ δεξιῶν αὐτοῦ (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:27 ============ Eze 21:27 A ruin, a ruin, a ruin, I will make it. ' (nkjv) Eze 21:27 Ich will die Krone zunichte, zunichte, zunichte machen, bis der komme, der sie haben soll; dem will ich sie geben.(dhs) Eze 21:27 ἐγένετο τὸ μαντεῖον ἐπὶ Ιερουσαλημ τοῦ βαλεῖν χάρακα τοῦ διανοῖξαι στόμα ἐν βοῇ ὑψῶσαι φωνὴν μετὰ κραυγῆς τοῦ βαλεῖν χάρακα ἐπὶ τὰς πύλας αὐτῆς καὶ βαλεῖν χῶμα καὶ οἰκοδομῆσαι βελοστάσεις (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:28 ============ Eze 21:28 "And you, son of man, prophesy and say, 'Thus says the Lord God concerning the sons of Ammon and concerning their reproach,' and say: 'A sword, a sword is drawn, polished for the slaughter, to cause it to consume, that it may be like lightning-- (nasb) Eze 21:28 "And you, son of man, prophesy and say, 'Thus says the Lord God concerning the Ammonites and concerning their reproach,' and say: 'A sword, a sword is drawn, Polished for slaughter, For consuming, for flashing-- (nkjv) Eze 21:28 Und du, Menschenkind, weissage und sprich: So spricht der HERR HERR von den Kindern Ammon und von ihrem Schmähen; und sprich: Das Schwert, das Schwert ist gezückt, daß es schlachten soll; es ist gefegt, daß es würgen soll und soll blinken,(dhs) Eze 21:28 καὶ αὐτὸς αὐτοῖς ὡς μαντευόμενος μαντείαν ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν καὶ αὐτὸς ἀναμιμνῄσκων ἀδικίας αὐτοῦ μνησθῆναι (lxx) ======= Ezekiel 21:29 ============ Eze 21:29 while they see for you false visions, while they divine lies for you--to place you on the necks of the wicked who are slain, whose day has come, in the time of the punishment of the end. (nasb) Eze 21:29 While they see false visions for you, While they divine a lie to you, To bring you on the necks of the wicked, the slain Whose day has come, Whose iniquity shall end.
