Macedonia;(E) 2 Corinthiens 8:1 Nous vous faisons connaître, frères, la grâce de Dieu qui s'est manifestée dans les Eglises de la Macédoine.(F) 2Co 8:1 Ich tue euch kund, liebe Brüder, die Gnade Gottes, die in den Gemeinden in Mazedonien gegeben ist.(D) 2Co 8:1 γνωρίζομεν δὲ ὑμῖν, ἀδελφοί, τὴν χάριν τοῦ θεοῦ τὴν δεδομένην ἐν ταῖς ἐκκλησίαις τῆς μακεδονίας,(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 8:1 Moreover, brethren, we make known to you the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia:(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 8:2 ============ 2Co 8:2 that in a great ordeal of affliction their abundance of joy and their deep poverty overflowed in the wealth of their liberality.(nasb) 2Co 8:2 quod in multo experimento tribulationis abundantia gaudii ipsorum fuit, et altissima paupertas eorum, abundavit in divitias simplicitatis eorum:(vulgate) 2 Corintios 8:2 que en grande prueba de tribulación, la abundancia de su gozo y su profunda pobreza abundaron en riquezas de su generosidad.(E) 2 Corinthiens 8:2 Au milieu de beaucoup de tribulations qui les ont éprouvées, leur joie débordante et leur pauvreté profonde ont produit avec abondance de riches libéralités de leur part.(F) 2Co 8:2 Denn ihre Freude war überschwenglich, da sie durch viel Trübsal bewährt wurden; und wiewohl sie sehr arm sind, haben sie doch reichlich gegeben in aller Einfalt.(D) 2Co 8:2 ὅτι ἐν πολλῇ δοκιμῇ θλίψεως ἡ περισσεία τῆς χαρᾶς αὐτῶν καὶ ἡ κατὰ βάθους πτωχεία αὐτῶν ἐπερίσσευσεν εἰς τὸ πλοῦτος τῆς ἁπλότητος αὐτῶν·(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 8:2 that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty and beyond their ability, they were freely willing,(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 8:4 ============ 2Co 8:4 begging us with much urging for the favor of participation in the support of the saints,(nasb) 2Co 8:4 cum multa exhortatione obsecrantes nos gratiam, et communicationem ministerii, quod fit in sanctos.(vulgate) 2 Corintios 8:4 pidiéndonos con muchos ruegos que aceptásemos la ofrenda y la vielem Zureden, daß wir aufnähmen die Wohltat und Gemeinschaft der Handreichung, die da geschieht den Heiligen;(D) 2Co 8:4 μετὰ πολλῆς παρακλήσεως δεόμενοι ἡμῶν τὴν χάριν καὶ τὴν κοινωνίαν τῆς διακονίας τῆς εἰς τοὺς ἁγίους _(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 8:4 imploring us with much urgency that we would receive the gift and the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 8:5 ============ 2Co 8:5 and this, not as we had expected, but they first gave themselves to the Lord and to us by the will of God.(nasb) 2Co 8:5 Et non sicut speravimus, sed semetipsos dederunt primum Domino, deinde nobis per voluntatem Dei,(vulgate) 2 Corintios 8:5 Y [esto hicieron], no como lo esperábamos, sino que primero se dieron a sí mismos al Señor, y a nosotros por la voluntad de Dios.(E) 2 θεοῦ,(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 8:5 And not only as we had hoped, but they first gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us by the will of God.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 8:6 ============ 2Co 8:6 So we urged Titus that as he had previously made a beginning, so he would also complete in you this gracious work as well.(nasb) 2Co 8:6 ita ut rogaremus Titum, ut quemadmodum cœpit, ita et perficiat in vobis etiam gratiam istam.(vulgate) 2 Corintios 8:6 De manera que exhortamos a Tito, que como comenzó, así también acabe esta gracia entre vosotros también.(E) 2 Corinthiens 8:6 Nous avons donc engagé Tite à achever chez vous cette oeuvre de bienfaisance, comme il l'avait commencée.(F) 2Co 8:6 daß wir mußten Titus ermahnen, auf daß er, wie er zuvor angefangen hatte, also auch unter euch solche Wohltat ausrichtete.(D) 2Co 8:6 εἰς τὸ παρακαλέσαι ἡμᾶς τίτον ἵνα καθὼς προενήρξατο οὕτως καὶ ἐπιτελέσῃ εἰς ὑμᾶς καὶ τὴν χάριν ταύτην.(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 8:6 So we urged Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also complete this grace in you as well.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 8:7 ============ 2Co 8:7 But just as you abound in everything, in faith and utterance and knowledge and in all earnestness and in the love we inspired in you, see that you abound in this gracious work also.(nasb) 2Co 8:7 Sed sicut in omnibus abundatis fide, et sermone, et scientia, et omni sollicitudine, insuper et caritate vestra in nos, ut et in hac gratia abundetis.(vulgate) 2 Corintios 8:7 Por tanto, como en todo abundáis, [en] fe, y [en] palabra, y [en] ciencia, y [en] toda solicitud, y [en] vuestro amor para con nosotros, [mirad] que también abundéis en esta gracia.(E) 2 Corinthiens 8:7 De même que vous excellez en toutes choses, en foi, en parole, en connaissance, en zèle à tous égards, et dans votre amour pour nous, faites en sorte d'exceller aussi dans cette oeuvre de bienfaisance.(F) 2Co 8:7 Aber gleichwie ihr in allen Stücken reich seid, im Glauben und im Wort und in der Erkenntnis und in allerlei Fleiß und in eurer Liebe zu uns, also schaffet, daß ihr auch in dieser Wohltat reich seid.(D) 2Co 8:7 ἀλλ᾽ ὥσπερ ἐν παντὶ περισσεύετε, πίστει καὶ λόγῳ καὶ γνώσει καὶ πάσῃ σπουδῇ καὶ τῇ ἐξ ἡμῶν ἐν ὑμῖν ἀγάπῃ, ἵνα καὶ ἐν ταύτῃ τῇ χάριτι περισσεύητε.(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 8:7 But as you abound in everything--in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us--see that you abound in this grace also.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 8:8 ============ 2Co 8:8 I am not speaking this as a command, but as proving through the earnestness of others the sincerity of your charité.(F) 2Co 8:8 Nicht sage ich, daß ich etwas gebiete; sondern, dieweil andere so fleißig sind, versuche ich auch eure Liebe, ob sie rechter Art sei.(D) 2Co 8:8 οὐ κατ᾽ ἐπιταγὴν λέγω, ἀλλὰ διὰ τῆς ἑτέρων σπουδῆς καὶ τὸ τῆς ὑμετέρας ἀγάπης γνήσιον δοκιμάζων·(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 8:8 I speak not by commandment, but I am testing the sincerity of your love by the diligence of others.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 8:9 ============ 2Co 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that you through His poverty might become rich.(nasb) 2Co 8:9 Scitis enim gratiam Domini nostri Jesu Christi, quoniam propter vos egenus factus est, cum esset dives, ut illius inopia vos divites essetis.(vulgate) 2 Corintios 8:9 Porque ya sabéis la gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que por amor a vosotros, siendo rico se hizo pobre; para que vosotros con su pobreza fueseis enriquecidos.(E) 2 Corinthiens 8:9 Car vous connaissez la ἐπτώχευσεν πλούσιος ὤν, ἵνα ὑμεῖς τῇ ἐκείνου πτωχείᾳ πλουτήσητε.(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 8:9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 8:10 ============ 2Co 8:10 I give my opinion in this matter, for this is to your advantage, who were the first to begin a year ago not only to do this, but also to desire to do it.(nasb) 2Co 8:10 Et consilium in hoc do: hoc enim vobis utile est, qui non solum facere, sed et velle cœpistis ab anno priore:(vulgate) 2 Corintios 8:10 Y en esto doy [mi] consejo; porque esto os conviene a vosotros, que comenzasteis antes, no sólo a hacerlo, sino también a quererlo, desde el año pasado.(E) 2 Corinthiens 8:10 C'est un avis que je donne là-dessus, car cela vous convient, à vous qui non seulement avez commencé à agir, mais qui en avez eu la volonté dès l'année dernière.(F) 2Co 8:10 Und meine Meinung hierin gebe ich; denn solches ist euch nützlich, die ihr angefangen habt vom vorigen Jahre her nicht allein das Tun, sondern auch das Wollen;(D) 2Co 8:10 καὶ γνώμην ἐν τούτῳ δίδωμι· τοῦτο γὰρ ὑμῖν συμφέρει, οἵτινες οὐ μόνον τὸ ποιῆσαι ἀλλὰ καὶ τὸ θέλειν προενήρξασθε ἀπὸ πέρυσι·(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 8:10 And in this I give advice: It is to your advantage not only to be doing what you began and were desiring to do a year ago;(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 8:11 ============ 2Co 8:11 But now finish doing it also, so that just as there was the readiness to desire it, so there may be also the completion of it by your ability.(nasb) 2Co 8:11 nunc vero et facto perficite: ut quemadmodum promptus est animus voluntatis, ita sit et perficiendi ex eo quod habetis.(vulgate) 2 Corintios 8:11 Ahora, pues, llevad también a cabo el hecho, para que como [estuvisteis] prestos a querer, así también [lo estéis] en cumplir conforme a lo que tenéis.(E) 2 Corinthiens 8:11 Achevez donc maintenant d'agir, afin que l'accomplissement selon vos moyens réponde à l'empressement que vous avez mis à vouloir.(F) 2Co 8:11 nun aber vollbringet auch das Tun, auf daß, gleichwie da ist ein geneigtes Gemüt, zu wollen, so sei auch da ein geneigtes Gemüt, zu tun von dem, was ihr habt.(D) 2Co 8:11 νυνὶ δὲ καὶ τὸ ποιῆσαι ἐπιτελέσατε, ὅπως καθάπερ ἡ προθυμία τοῦ θέλειν οὕτως καὶ τὸ ἐπιτελέσαι ἐκ τοῦ ἔχειν.(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 8:11 but now you also must complete the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to desire it, so there also may be a completion out of what you have.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 8:12 ============ 2Co 8:12 For if the readiness is present, it is acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what he does not have.(nasb) 2Co 8:12 Si enim voluntas prompta est, secundum id quod habet, according to what one has, and not according to what he does not have.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 8:13 ============ 2Co 8:13 For this is not for the ease of others and for your affliction, but by way of equality--(nasb) 2Co 8:13 Non enim ut aliis sit remissio, vobis autem tribulatio, sed ex æqualitate.(vulgate) 2 Corintios 8:13 Pero no digo esto para que haya abundancia para otros, y para vosotros Corinthians 8:14 ============ 2Co 8:14 at this present time your abundance being a supply for their need, so that their abundance also may become a supply for your need, that there may be equality;(nasb) 2Co 8:14 In præsenti tempore vestra abundantia illorum inopiam suppleat: ut et illorum abundantia vestræ inopiæ sit supplementum, ut fiat æqualitas, sicut scriptum est:(vulgate) 2 this time your abundance may supply their lack, that their abundance also may supply your lack--that there may be equality.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 8:15 ============ 2Co 8:15 as it is written, "HE 8:16 But thanks be to God who puts the same earnestness on your behalf in the heart of Titus.(nasb) 2Co 8:16 Gratias autem Deo, qui dedit eamdem sollicitudinem pro vobis in corde Titi,(vulgate) 2 Corintios 8:16 Mas gracias [sean] dadas a Dios, que puso en el corazón de Tito la misma solicitud por vosotros.(E) 2 Corinthiens 8:16 Grâces soient rendues à Dieu de ce qu'il a mis dans le coeur de accepted our appeal, but being himself very earnest, he has gone to you of his own accord.(nasb) 2Co 8:17 quoniam exhortationem quidem suscepit: sed cum sollicitior esset, sua voluntate profectus est ad vos.(vulgate) 2 Corintios 8:17 Pues a la verdad aceptó la exhortación; y estando también muy solícito, de su voluntad partió para ir a vosotros.(E) 2 Corinthiens 8:17 car il a accueilli notre went to you of his own accord.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 8:18 ============ 2Co 8:18 We have sent along with him the brother whose fame in the things of the gospel has spread through all the churches;(nasb) 2Co 8:18 Misimus etiam cum illo fratrem, cujus laus est in Evangelio per omnes ecclesias:(vulgate) 2 Corintios 8:18 Y enviamos juntamente con él al hermano cuya alabanza en el evangelio es por todas las iglesias;(E) 2 Corinthiens 8:18 Nous envoyons avec lui le frère dont la louange en ce qui concerne l'Evangile est répandue dans toutes les Eglises,(F) 2Co 8:18 Wir haben aber einen Bruder mit ihm gesandt, der das Lob hat am Evangelium durch alle Gemeinden.(D) 2Co 8:18 συνεπέμψαμεν δὲ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ τὸν ἀδελφὸν οὖ ὁ ἔπαινος ἐν τῶ εὐαγγελίῳ διὰ πασῶν τῶν ἐκκλησιῶν(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 8:18 And we have sent with him the brother whose praise is in the gospel throughout all the churches,(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 8:19 ============ 2Co 8:19 and not only this, but he has also been appointed by the churches to travel with us in this gracious work, which is being administered by us for the glory of the Lord Himself, and to show our readiness,(nasb) 2Co 8:19 non solum autem, sed et ordinatus est ab ecclesiis comes peregrinationis nostræ in hanc gratiam, quæ ministratur a nobis ad Domini gloriam, et destinatam voluntatem nostram:(vulgate) 2 Corintios 8:19 y no sólo esto, sino también fue escogido por las iglesias para viajar con nosotros con esta gracia, que es administrada por nosotros para gloria del Señor mismo, y [para demostrar] vuestra buena disposición;(E) 2 Corinthiens 8:19 et qui, de plus, a été choisi par les Eglises pour être notre compagnon de voyage dans cette oeuvre de bienfaisance, que nous accomplissons à la gloire du Seigneur même et en témoignage de notre bonne volonté.(F) 2Co 8:19 Nicht allein aber das, sondern er ist auch verordnet von den Gemeinden zum Gefährten unsrer Fahrt in dieser Wohltat, welche durch uns ausgerichtet wird dem HERRN zu Ehren und zum Preis eures guten Willens.(D) 2Co 8:19 _ οὐ μόνον δὲ ἀλλὰ καὶ χειροτονηθεὶς ὑπὸ τῶν ἐκκλησιῶν συνέκδημος ἡμῶν σὺν τῇ χάριτι ταύτῃ τῇ διακονουμένῃ ὑφ᾽ ἡμῶν πρὸς τὴν [αὐτοῦ] τοῦ κυρίου δόξαν καὶ προθυμίαν ἡμῶν _(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 8:19 and not only that, but who was also chosen by the churches to travel with us with this gift, which is administered by us to the glory of the Lord Himself and to show your ready mind,(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 8:20 ============ 2Co 8:20 taking precaution so that no one will discredit us in our administration of this generous gift;(nasb) 2Co 8:20 devitantes hoc, ne quis nos vituperet in hac plenitudine, quæ ministratur a nobis.(vulgate) 2 Corintios 8:20 evitando que nadie nos difame en esta abundancia que
