Today's Date: ======= 2 Corinthians 9:1 ============ 2Co 9:1 For it is superfluous for me to write to you about this ministry to the saints;(nasb) 2Co 9:1 Nam de ministerio, quod fit in sanctos ex abundanti est mihi scribere vobis.(vulgate) 2 Corintios 9:1 Pero en cuanto a la suministración para los santos, por demás me es escribiros;(E) 2 Corinthiens 9:1 Il est superflu que je vous écrive touchant l'assistance destinée aux saints.(F) 2Co 9:1 Denn von solcher Steuer, die den Heiligen geschieht, ist mir nicht not, euch zu schreiben.(D) 2Co 9:1 περὶ μὲν γὰρ τῆς διακονίας τῆς εἰς τοὺς ἁγίους περισσόν μοί ἐστιν τὸ γράφειν ὑμῖν,(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 9:1 Now concerning the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you;(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 9:2 ============ 2Co 9:2 for I know your readiness, of which I boast about you to the Macedonians, namely, that Achaia has been prepared since last year, and your zeal has stirred up most of them.(nasb) 2Co 9:2 Scio enim promptum animum vestrum: pro quo de vobis glorior apud Macedones. Quoniam et Achaia parata est ab anno præterito, et vestra æmulatio provocavit plurimos.(vulgate) 2 Corintios 9:2 pues conozco vuestra buena disposición, de la cual me glorío entre los de Macedonia, que Acaya está preparada desde el año pasado; y vuestro celo ha estimulado a muchos.(E) 2 Corinthiens 9:2 Je connais, en effet, votre bonne volonté, dont je me glorifie pour vous auprès des Macédoniens, en déclarant que l'Achaïe est prête depuis l'année dernière; et ce zèle de votre part a stimulé le plus grand nombre.(F) 2Co 9:2 Denn ich weiß euren guten Willen, davon ich rühme bei denen aus Mazedonien und sage: Achaja ist schon voriges Jahr bereit gewesen; und euer Beispiel hat viele gereizt.(D) 2Co 9:2 οἶδα γὰρ τὴν προθυμίαν ὑμῶν ἣν ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν καυχῶμαι μακεδόσιν ὅτι ἀχαΐα παρεσκεύασται ἀπὸ πέρυσι, καὶ τὸ ὑμῶν ζῆλος ἠρέθισεν τοὺς πλείονας.(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 9:2 for I know your willingness, about which I boast of you to the Macedonians, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal has stirred up the majority.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 9:3 ============ 2Co 9:3 But I have sent the brethren, in order that our boasting about you may not be made empty in this case, so that, as I was saying, you may be prepared;(nasb) 2Co 9:3 Misi autem fratres: ut ne quod gloriamur de vobis, evacuetur in hac parte, ut (quemadmodum dixi) parati sitis:(vulgate) 2 Corintios 9:3 Mas he enviado a los hermanos, para que nuestra gloria de vosotros no sea vana en esta parte; para que, como lo he dicho, estéis preparados;(E) 2 Corinthiens 9:3 J'envoie les frères, afin que l'éloge que nous avons fait de vous ne soit pas réduit à néant sur ce point-là, et que vous soyez prêts, comme je l'ai dit.(F) 2Co 9:3 Ich habe aber diese Brüder darum gesandt, daß nicht unser Rühmen von euch zunichte würde in dem Stücke, und daß ihr bereit seid, gleichwie ich von euch gesagt habe;(D) 2Co 9:3 ἔπεμψα δὲ τοὺς ἀδελφούς, ἵνα μὴ τὸ καύχημα ἡμῶν τὸ ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν κενωθῇ ἐν τῶ μέρει τούτῳ, ἵνα καθὼς ἔλεγον παρεσκευασμένοι ἦτε,(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 9:3 Yet I have sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this respect, that, as I said, you may be ready;(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 9:4 ============ 2Co 9:4 otherwise if any Macedonians come with me and find you unprepared, we--not to speak of you--will be put to shame by this confidence.(nasb) 2Co 9:4 ne cum venerint Macedones mecum, et invenerint vos imparatos, erubescamus nos (ut non dicamus vos) in hac substantia.(vulgate) 2 Corintios 9:4 no sea que si vinieren conmigo los de Macedonia, y os hallaren desprevenidos, nos avergoncemos nosotros, por no decir vosotros, de este firme gloriar.(E) 2 Corinthiens 9:4 Je ne voudrais pas, si les Macédoniens m'accompagnent et ne vous trouvent pas prêts, que cette assurance tournât à notre confusion, pour ne pas dire à la vôtre.(F) 2Co 9:4 auf daß nicht, so die aus Mazedonien mit mir kämen und euch unbereit fänden, wir (will nicht sagen: ihr) zu Schanden würden mit solchem Rühmen.(D) 2Co 9:4 μή πως ἐὰν ἔλθωσιν σὺν ἐμοὶ μακεδόνες καὶ εὕρωσιν ὑμᾶς ἀπαρασκευάστους καταισχυνθῶμεν ἡμεῖς, ἵνα μὴ λέγω ὑμεῖς, ἐν τῇ ὑποστάσει ταύτῃ.(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 9:4 lest if some Macedonians come with me and find you unprepared, we (not to mention you!) should be ashamed of this confident boasting.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 9:5 ============ 2Co 9:5 So I thought it necessary to urge the brethren that they would go on ahead to you and arrange beforehand your previously promised bountiful gift, so that the same would be ready as a bountiful gift and not affected by covetousness.(nasb) 2Co 9:5 Necessarium ergo existimavi rogare fratres, ut præveniant ad vos, et præparent repromissam benedictionem hanc paratam esse sic, quasi benedictionem, non tamquam avaritiam.~(vulgate) 2 Corintios 9:5 Por tanto, consideré necesario exhortar a los hermanos a que fuesen antes a vosotros, y preparasen primero vuestra bendición antes prometida para que esté preparada como de bendición, y no como de mezquindad.(E) 2 Corinthiens 9:5 J'ai donc jugé nécessaire d'inviter les frères à se rendre auparavant chez vous, et à s'occuper de votre libéralité déjà promise, afin qu'elle soit prête, de manière à être une libéralité, et non un acte d'avarice.(F) 2Co 9:5 So habe ich es nun für nötig angesehen, die Brüder zu ermahnen, daß sie voranzögen zu euch, fertigzumachen diesen zuvor verheißenen Segen, daß er bereit sei, also daß es sei ein Segen und nicht ein Geiz.(D) 2Co 9:5 ἀναγκαῖον οὗν ἡγησάμην παρακαλέσαι τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ἵνα προέλθωσιν εἰς ὑμᾶς καὶ προκαταρτίσωσιν τὴν προεπηγγελμένην εὐλογίαν ὑμῶν, ταύτην ἑτοίμην εἶναι οὕτως ὡς εὐλογίαν καὶ μὴ ὡς πλεονεξίαν.(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 9:5 Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren to go to you ahead of time, and prepare your generous gift beforehand, which you had previously promised, that it may be ready as a matter of generosity and not as a grudging obligation.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 9:6 ============ 2Co 9:6 Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.(nasb) 2Co 9:6 Hoc autem dico: qui parce seminat, parce et metet: et qui seminat in benedictionibus, de benedictionibus et metet.(vulgate) 2 Corintios 9:6 Pero [esto digo]: El que siembra escasamente, también segará escasamente; y el que siembra abundantemente, abundantemente también segará.(E) 2 Corinthiens 9:6 Sachez-le, celui qui sème peu moissonnera peu, et celui qui sème abondamment moissonnera abondamment.(F) 2Co 9:6 Ich meine aber das: Wer da kärglich sät, der wird auch kärglich ernten; und wer da sät im Segen, der wird auch ernten im Segen.(D) 2Co 9:6 τοῦτο δέ, ὁ σπείρων φειδομένως φειδομένως καὶ θερίσει, καὶ ὁ σπείρων ἐπ᾽ εὐλογίαις ἐπ᾽ εὐλογίαις καὶ θερίσει.(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 9:6 But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 9:7 ============ 2Co 9:7 Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.(nasb) 2Co 9:7 Unusquisque, prout destinavit in corde suo, non ex tristitia, aut ex necessitate: hilarem enim datorem diligit Deus.(vulgate) 2 Corintios 9:7 Cada uno [dé] como propuso en su corazón; no con tristeza, o por necesidad, porque Dios ama al dador alegre.(E) 2 Corinthiens 9:7 Que chacun donne comme il l'a résolu en son coeur, sans tristesse ni contrainte; car Dieu aime celui qui donne avec joie.(F) 2Co 9:7 Ein jeglicher nach seiner Willkür, nicht mit Unwillen oder aus Zwang; denn einen fröhlichen Geber hat Gott lieb.(D) 2Co 9:7 ἕκαστος καθὼς προῄρηται τῇ καρδίᾳ, μὴ ἐκ λύπης ἢ ἐξ ἀνάγκης, ἱλαρὸν γὰρ δότην ἀγαπᾷ ὁ θεός.(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 9:7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 9:8 ============ 2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;(nasb) 2Co 9:8 Potens est autem Deus omnem gratiam abundare facere in vobis: ut in omnibus semper omnem sufficientiam habentes, abundetis in omne opus bonum,(vulgate) 2 Corintios 9:8 Y poderoso es Dios para hacer que abunde en vosotros toda gracia; a fin de que, teniendo siempre toda suficiencia en todas las cosas, abundéis para toda buena obra;(E) 2 Corinthiens 9:8 Et Dieu peut vous combler de toutes sortes de grâces, afin que, possédant toujours en toutes choses de quoi satisfaire à tous vos besoins, vous ayez encore en abondance pour toute bonne oeuvre,(F) 2Co 9:8 Gott aber kann machen, daß allerlei Gnade unter euch reichlich sei, daß ihr in allen Dingen volle Genüge habt und reich seid zu allerlei guten Werken;(D) 2Co 9:8 δυνατεῖ δὲ ὁ θεὸς πᾶσαν χάριν περισσεῦσαι εἰς ὑμᾶς, ἵνα ἐν παντὶ πάντοτε πᾶσαν αὐτάρκειαν ἔχοντες περισσεύητε εἰς πᾶν ἔργον ἀγαθόν,(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 9:9 ============ 2Co 9:9 as it is written, "HE SCATTERED ABROAD, HE GAVE TO THE POOR, HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ENDURES FOREVER."(nasb) 2Co 9:9 sicut scriptum est: Dispersit, dedit pauperibus: justitia ejus manet in sæculum sæculi.(vulgate) 2 Corintios 9:9 como está escrito: Esparció, dio a los pobres: Su justicia permanece para siempre.(E) 2 Corinthiens 9:9 selon qu'il est écrit: Il a fait καθὼς γέγραπται, ἐσκόρπισεν, ἔδωκεν τοῖς πένησιν, ἡ δικαιοσύνη αὐτοῦ μένει εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα.(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 9:9 As it is written: "He has dispersed abroad, He has given to the poor; His righteousness endures forever."(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 9:10 ============ 2Co 9:10 Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness;(nasb) 2Co 9:10 Qui autem administrat semen seminanti: et panem ad manducandum præstabit, et multiplicabit semen vestrum, et augebit incrementa frugum justitiæ vestræ:(vulgate) 2 Corintios 9:10 Y el que da semilla al que siembra, también dará pan para comer, y multiplicará vuestra sementera, y aumentará los frutos de vuestra justicia;(E) 2 Corinthiens 9:10 Celui qui Fournit de la semence au semeur, Et du pain pour sa nourriture, vous fournira et vous multipliera la semence, et il augmentera les fruits de votre justice.(F) 2Co 9:10 Der aber Samen reicht dem Säemann, der wird auch das Brot reichen zur Speise und wird vermehren euren Samen und wachsen lassen das Gewächs eurer Gerechtigkeit,(D) 2Co 9:10 ὁ δὲ ἐπιχορηγῶν σπόρον τῶ σπείροντι καὶ ἄρτον εἰς βρῶσιν χορηγήσει καὶ πληθυνεῖ τὸν σπόρον ὑμῶν καὶ αὐξήσει τὰ γενήματα τῆς δικαιοσύνης ὑμῶν·(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 9:10 Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown Corinthians 9:12 ============ 2Co 9:12 For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God.(nasb) 2Co 9:12 Quoniam ministerium hujus officii non solum supplet ea quæ desunt sanctis, sed etiam abundat per multas gratiarum actiones in Domino,(vulgate) 2 Corintios 9:12 Porque la suministración de este servicio, suple no sólo lo que a los santos falta, sino también abunda en muchas acciones de gracias a Dios;(E) 2 Corinthiens 9:12 Car le secours de cette assistance non seulement pourvoit aux besoins des saints, mais il est encore une source abondante de nombreuses actions de grâces envers Dieu.(F) 2Co 9:12 Denn die Handreichung dieser Steuer erfüllt nicht allein den Mangel der Heiligen, sondern ist auch überschwenglich darin, daß viele Gott danken für diesen unsern treuen Dienst(D) 2Co 9:12 ὅτι ἡ διακονία τῆς λειτουργίας ταύτης οὐ μόνον ἐστὶν προσαναπληροῦσα τὰ ὑστερήματα τῶν ἁγίων, ἀλλὰ καὶ περισσεύουσα διὰ πολλῶν εὐχαριστιῶν τῶ θεῶ _(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 9:12 For the administration of this service not only supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God,(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 9:13 ============ 2Co 9:13 Because of the proof given by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your contribution to them and to all,(nasb) 2Co 9:13 per probationem ministerii hujus, glorificantes Deum in obedientia confessionis vestræ, in Evangelium Christi, et simplicitate communicationis in illos, et in omnes,(vulgate) 2 Corintios 9:13 Pues por la experiencia de esta suministración glorifican a Dios por la obediencia que profesáis al evangelio de Cristo, y por [vuestra] liberal contribución para ellos y para todos;(E) 2 Corinthiens 9:13 En considération de ce secours dont ils font l'expérience, ils glorifient Dieu de votre obéissance dans la profession de l'Evangile de Christ, et de la libéralité de vos dons envers eux et envers tous;(F) 2Co 9:13 und preisen Gott über euer untertäniges Bekenntnis des Evangeliums Christi und über eure einfältige Steuer an sie und an alle,(D) 2Co 9:13 διὰ τῆς δοκιμῆς τῆς διακονίας ταύτης δοξάζοντες τὸν θεὸν ἐπὶ τῇ ὑποταγῇ τῆς ὁμολογίας ὑμῶν εἰς τὸ εὐαγγέλιον τοῦ χριστοῦ καὶ ἁπλότητι τῆς κοινωνίας εἰς αὐτοὺς καὶ εἰς πάντας,(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 9:13 while, through the proof of this ministry, they glorify God for the obedience of your confession to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal sharing with them and all men,(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 9:14 ============ 2Co 9:14 while they also, by prayer on your behalf, yearn for you because of the surpassing grace of God in you.(nasb) 2Co 9:14 et in ipsorum obsecratione pro vobis, desiderantium vos propter eminentem gratiam Dei in vobis.(vulgate) 2 Corintios 9:14 y por la oración de ellos a favor vuestro, los cuales os quieren a causa de la supereminente Gebet für euch um der überschwenglichen Gnade Gottes willen in euch.(D) 2Co 9:14 καὶ αὐτῶν δεήσει ὑπὲρ ὑμῶν ἐπιποθούντων ὑμᾶς διὰ τὴν ὑπερβάλλουσαν χάριν τοῦ θεοῦ ἐφ᾽ ὑμῖν.(Nestle-Aland) 2Co 9:14 and by their prayer for you, who long for you because of the exceeding grace of God in you.(nkjv) ======= 2 Corinthians 9:15 ============ 2Co 9:15 Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!(nasb) 2Co
