Who answered, I haue sent it, that I may finde fauour in the sight of my lorde:(Geneva) Genèse 33:8 Esaü dit: A quoi destines-tu tout ce camp que j'ai rencontré? Et Jacob répondit: A trouver grâce aux yeux de mon seigneur.(FR) 8 ׃33 וַיֹּ֕אמֶר מִ֥י לְךָ֛ כָּל־הַמַּחֲנֶ֥ה הַזֶּ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר פָּגָ֑שְׁתִּי וַיֹּ֕אמֶר לִמְצֹא־חֵ֖ן בְּעֵינֵ֥י אֲדֹנִֽי׃ Genesis Gen 33:8 And he said, "What do you mean by all this company which I have met?" And he said, "To find favor in the sight of my lord."(nasb) ======= Genesis 33:9 ============ Gen 33:9 And Esau said, I have enough, my brother; keep that thou hast unto thyself.(KJV) Genesis 33:9 And Esau said, I haue ynough, my brother: keepe that thou hast to thy selfe.(Geneva) Genèse 33:9 Esaü dit: Je suis dans l'abondance, mon frère; garde ce qui est à toi.(FR) 9 ׃33 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר עֵשָׂ֖ו יֶשׁ־לִ֣י רָ֑ב אָחִ֕י יְהִ֥י לְךָ֖ אֲשֶׁר־לָֽךְ׃ Genesis Gen 33:9 But Esau said, "I have plenty, my brother; let what you have be your own."(nasb) ======= Genesis 33:10 ============ Gen 33:10 And Jacob said, Nay, I pray thee, if now I have found grace in thy sight, then receive my present at my hand: for therefore I have seen thy face, as though I had seen the face of God, and thou wast pleased with me.(KJV) Genesis 33:10 But Iaakob answered, Nay, I pray thee: if I haue found grace nowe in thy sight, then receiue my present at mine hande: for I haue seene thy face, as though I had seene the face of God, because thou hast accepted me.(Geneva) Genèse 33:10 Et Jacob répondit: Non, je te prie, si j'ai trouvé grâce à tes yeux, accepte de ma main mon présent; car c'est pour cela que j'ai regardé ta face comme on regarde la face de Dieu, et tu m'as accueilli favorablement.(FR) 10 ׃33 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יַעֲקֹ֗ב אַל־נָא֙ אִם־נָ֨א מָצָ֤אתִי חֵן֙ בְּעֵינֶ֔יךָ וְלָקַחְתָּ֥ מִנְחָתִ֖י מִיָּדִ֑י כִּ֣י עַל־כֵּ֞ן רָאִ֣יתִי פָנֶ֗יךָ כִּרְאֹ֛ת פְּנֵ֥י אֱלֹהִ֖ים וַתִּרְצֵֽנִי׃ Genesis Gen 33:10 Jacob said, "No, please, if now I have found favor in your sight, then take my present from my hand, for I see your face as one sees the face of God, and you have received me favorably.(nasb) ======= Genesis 33:11 ============ Gen 33:11 Take, I pray thee, my blessing that is brought to thee; because God hath dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough. And he urged him, and he took it.(KJV) Genesis 33:11 I pray thee take my blessing, that is brought thee: for God hath had mercie on me, and therefore I haue all things: so he compelled him, and he tooke it.(Geneva) Genèse 33:11 Accepte donc mon présent qui t'a été offert, puisque Dieu m'a comblé de grâces, et que je ne manque de rien. Thus he urged him and he took it.(nasb) ======= Genesis 33:12 ============ Gen 33:12 And he said, Let us take our journey, and let us go, and I will go before thee.(KJV) Genesis 33:12 And he saide, Let vs take our iourney and go, and I will goe before thee.(Geneva) Genèse 33:12 Esaü dit: Partons, mettons-nous en route; j'irai devant toi.(FR) 12 ׃33 וַיֹּ֖אמֶר נִסְעָ֣ה וְנֵלֵ֑כָה וְאֵלְכָ֖ה לְנֶגְדֶּֽךָ׃ Genesis Gen 33:12 Then Esau said, "Let us take our journey and go, and I will go before you."(nasb) ======= Genesis 33:13 ============ Gen 33:13 And he said unto him, My lord knoweth that the children are tender, and the flocks and herds with young are with me: and if men should overdrive them one day, all the flock will die.(KJV) Genesis 33:13 Then he answered him, My lord knoweth, that the children are tender, & the ewes & kine with yong vnder mine hande: and if they should ouerdriue them one day, all the flocke would die.(Geneva) Genèse 33:13 Jacob lui répondit: Mon seigneur sait que les enfants sont délicats, et que j'ai des brebis et des vaches qui allaitent; si l'on forçait leur marche un seul jour, tout le troupeau périrait.(FR) 13 ׃33 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלָ֗יו אֲדֹנִ֤י יֹדֵ֙עַ֙ כִּֽי־הַיְלָדִ֣ים רַכִּ֔ים וְהַצֹּ֥אן וְהַבָּקָ֖ר עָל֣וֹת עָלָ֑י וּדְפָקוּם֙ י֣וֹם אֶחָ֔ד וָמֵ֖תוּ כָּל־הַצֹּֽאן׃ Genesis Gen 33:13 But he said to him, "My lord knows that the children are frail and that the flocks and herds which are nursing are a care to me. And if they are driven hard one day, all the flocks will die.(nasb) ======= Genesis 33:14 ============ Gen 33:14 Let my lord, I pray thee, pass over before his servant: and I will lead on softly, according as the cattle that goeth before me and the children be able to endure, until I come unto my lord unto Seir.(KJV) Genesis 33:14 Let now my lord go before his seruant, & I will driue softly, according to ye pase of ye cattel, which is before me, and as the children be able to endure, vntill I come to my lord vnto Seir.(Geneva) Genèse 33:14 Que mon seigneur prenne les devants sur son serviteur; et moi, je suivrai lentement, au pas du troupeau qui me précédera, et au pas des enfants, jusqu'à ce que j'arrive chez mon seigneur, à Séir.(FR) 14 ׃33 יַעֲבָר־נָ֥א אֲדֹנִ֖י לִפְנֵ֣י עַבְדּ֑וֹ וַאֲנִ֞י אֶֽתְנָהֲלָ֣ה לְאִטִּ֗י לְרֶ֨גֶל הַמְּלָאכָ֤ה אֲשֶׁר־לְפָנַי֙ וּלְרֶ֣גֶל הַיְלָדִ֔ים עַ֛ד אֲשֶׁר־אָבֹ֥א אֶל־אֲדֹנִ֖י שֵׂעִֽירָה׃ Genesis Gen 33:14 Please let my lord pass on before his servant, and I will proceed at my leisure, according to the pace of the cattle that are before me and according to the pace of the children, until I come to my lord at Seir."(nasb) ======= Genesis 33:15 ============ Gen 33:15 And Esau said, Let me now leave with thee some of the folk that are with me. And he said, What needeth it? let me find grace in the sight of my lord.(KJV) Genesis 33:15 Then Esau said, I will leaue then some of my folke with thee; he answered, what needeth this? let me finde grace in the sight of my lorde.(Geneva) Genèse 33:15 Esaü dit: Je veux au moins laisser avec toi une partie de mes gens. Et Jacob répondit: Pourquoi cela? Que je trouve seulement grâce aux yeux de mon seigneur!(FR) 15 ׃33 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר עֵשָׂ֔ו אַצִּֽיגָה־נָּ֣א עִמְּךָ֔ מִן־הָעָ֖ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר אִתִּ֑י וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ לָ֣מָּה זֶּ֔ה אֶמְצָא־חֵ֖ן בְּעֵינֵ֥י אֲדֹנִֽי׃ Genesis Gen 33:15 Esau said, "Please let me leave with you some of the people who are with me." But he said, "What need is there?
