I do not know the Lord, and besides, I will not let Israel go."(nasb) ======= Exodus 5:3 ============ Exo 5:3 And they said, The God of the Hebrews hath met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.(KJV) Exodus 5:3 And they saide, We worship the God of the Ebrewes: we pray thee, let vs goe three daies iourney in the desert, and sacrifice vnto the Lord our God, least he bring vpon vs the pestilence or sword.(Geneva) Exode 5:3 Ils dirent: Le Dieu des Hébreux nous est apparu. Because they are lazy, therefore they cry out, 'Let us go and sacrifice to our God.'(nasb) ======= Exodus 5:9 ============ Exo 5:9 Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour went out, and their officers, and they spake to the people, saying, Thus saith Pharaoh, I will not give you straw.(KJV) Exodus 5:10 Then went the taskemasters of the people and their officers out, and of the people and their foremen went out and spoke to the people, saying, "Thus says Pharaoh, 'I am not going to give you any straw.(nasb) ======= Exodus 5:11 ============ Exo 5:11 Go ye, get you straw where ye can find it: yet not ought of your work shall be diminished.(KJV) Exodus 5:11 Goe your selues, get you strawe where yee can finde it, yet shall nothing of your labour bee גַּם־הַיּֽוֹם׃ Exodus Exo 5:14 Moreover, the foremen of the sons of Israel, whom Pharaoh's taskmasters had set over them, were beaten and were asked, "Why have you not completed your required amount servants?(nasb) ======= Exodus 5:16 ============ Exo 5:16 There is no straw given unto thy servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, thy servants are beaten; but the fault is in thine own Vous nous avez rendus odieux à Pharaon et à ses serviteurs, vous avez mis une épée dans leurs mains pour nous faire périr.(FR) 21 ׃5 וַיֹּאמְר֣וּ אֲלֵהֶ֔ם יֵ֧רֶא יְהוָ֛ה עֲלֵיכֶ֖ם וְיִשְׁפֹּ֑ט אֲשֶׁ֧ר הִבְאַשְׁתֶּ֣ם אֶת־רֵיחֵ֗נוּ בְּעֵינֵ֤י פַרְעֹה֙ וּבְעֵינֵ֣י עֲבָדָ֔יו לָֽתֶת־חֶ֥רֶב בְּיָדָ֖ם לְהָרְגֵֽנוּ׃ Exodus Exo 5:21 They said to them, "May the Lord look upon you and judge you, for you have made us odious in Pharaoh's sight and in the sight of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to kill us."(nasb) ======= Exodus 5:22 ============ Exo 5:22 And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, LORD, wherefore hast thou so evil entreated this people? why is it that thou hast sent me?(KJV) Exodus 5:22 Wherefore Moses returned to the Lorde, and saide, Lorde, why hast thou afflicted this people? wherefore hast thou thus sent me?(Geneva) Exode 5:22 Moïse retourna vers l'Eternel, et dit: Seigneur, pourquoi as-tu fait du mal à ce peuple? pourquoi m'as-tu envoyé?(FR) 22 ׃5 וַיָּ֧שָׁב מֹשֶׁ֛ה אֶל־יְהוָ֖ה וַיֹּאמַ֑ר אֲדֹנָ֗י לָמָ֤ה הֲרֵעֹ֙תָה֙ לָעָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה לָ֥מָּה זֶּ֖ה שְׁלַחְתָּֽנִי׃ Exodus Exo 5:22 Then Moses returned to the Lord and said, "O Lord, why have You brought harm to this people?
