These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.(KJV) Exodus 19:6 Yee shall be vnto mee also a kingdome of Priestes, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speake vnto the children of Israel.(Geneva) Exode 19:6 vous serez pour moi un royaume de sacrificateurs et une nation sainte. Voilà les paroles que tu diras aux enfants d'Israël.(FR) 6 ׃19 וְאַתֶּ֧ם תִּהְיוּ־לִ֛י מַמְלֶ֥כֶת כֹּהֲנִ֖ים וְג֣וֹי קָד֑וֹשׁ אֵ֚לֶּה הַדְּבָרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר תְּדַבֵּ֖ר אֶל־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Exodus Exo 19:6 and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.(KJV) Exodus 19:8 And the people answered all together, and sayd, All that the Lord hath commaunded, we will doe; Moses reported the wordes of the people vnto the Lord.(Geneva) Exode 19:8 Le peuple tout entier répondit: Nous ferons tout ce que l'Eternel a dit. And Moses brought back the words of the people to the Lord.(nasb) ======= Exodus 19:9 ============ Exo 19:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.(KJV) Exodus 19:9 And the Lord sayd vnto Moses, Lo, I come vnto thee in a thicke cloude, that the people may heare, whiles I talke with thee, and that they may also beleeue thee for euer. (for Moses had tolde the wordes of the people vnto the Lord)(Geneva) Exode 19:9 Et l'Eternel dit à Moïse: Voici, je viendrai vers toi dans une épaisse nuée, afin que le peuple entende quand je te parlerai, et qu'il ait toujours confiance en toi. Moïse rapporta les paroles du peuple à l'Eternel.(FR) 9 ׃19 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֗ה הִנֵּ֨ה אָנֹכִ֜י בָּ֣א אֵלֶיךָ֮ בְּעַ֣ב הֶֽעָנָן֒ בַּעֲב֞וּר יִשְׁמַ֤ע הָעָם֙ בְּדַבְּרִ֣י עִמָּ֔ךְ וְגַם־בְּךָ֖ יַאֲמִ֣ינוּ לְעוֹלָ֑ם וַיַּגֵּ֥ד מֹשֶׁ֛ה אֶת־דִּבְרֵ֥י הָעָ֖ם אֶל־יְהוָֽה׃ Exodus Exo 19:9 The Lord said to Moses, "Behold, I will come to you in a thick cloud, so that the people may hear when I speak with you and may also believe in you forever." Then Moses told the words of the people to the Lord.(nasb) ======= Exodus 19:10 ============ Exo 19:10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and to morrow, and let them wash their clothes,(KJV) Exodus 19:10 Moreouer, the Lord sayd vnto Moses, Goe to the people, and sanctifie them to day and to morow, and let them wash their clothes.(Geneva) Exode 19:10 Et l'Eternel dit à Moïse: Va vers le peuple; sanctifie-les aujourd'hui et demain, qu'ils lavent leurs vêtements.(FR) 10 ׃19 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֤ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה֙ לֵ֣ךְ אֶל־הָעָ֔ם וְקִדַּשְׁתָּ֥ם הַיּ֖וֹם וּמָחָ֑ר וְכִבְּס֖וּ שִׂמְלֹתָֽם׃ Exodus Exo 19:10 The Lord also said to Moses, "Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments;(nasb) ======= Exodus 19:11 ============ Exo 19:11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.(KJV) Exodus 19:11 And let them be ready on the third day: for the thirde day the Lorde will come downe in the sight of all the people vpon mount Sinai:(Geneva) Exode 19:11 Qu'ils soient prêts pour le troisième jour; car le troisième jour l'Eternel descendra, aux yeux de tout le peuple, sur la montagne de Sinaï.(FR) 11 ׃19 וְהָי֥וּ נְכֹנִ֖ים לַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֑י כִּ֣י ׀ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֗י יֵרֵ֧ד יְהוָ֛ה לְעֵינֵ֥י כָל־הָעָ֖ם עַל־הַ֥ר סִינָֽי׃ Exodus Exo 19:11 and let them be ready for the third day, for on the third day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.(nasb) ======= Exodus 19:12 ============ Exo 19:12 And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:(KJV) Exodus 19:12 And thou shalt set markes vnto the people rounde about, saying, Take heede to your selues that ye goe not vp the mount, nor touche the border of it: whosoeuer toucheth the mount, shall surely die.(Geneva) Exode 19:12 Tu fixeras au peuple des limites tout à l'entour, et tu diras: Gardez-vous de monter sur la montagne, ou d'en toucher le bord. Quiconque touchera la montagne sera puni de mort.(FR) 12 ׃19 וְהִגְבַּלְתָּ֤ אֶת־הָעָם֙ סָבִ֣יב לֵאמֹ֔ר הִשָּׁמְר֥וּ לָכֶ֛ם עֲל֥וֹת בָּהָ֖ר וּנְגֹ֣עַ בְּקָצֵ֑הוּ כָּל־הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ בָּהָ֖ר מ֥וֹת יוּמָֽת׃ Exodus Exo 19:12 You shall set bounds for the people all around, saying, 'Beware that you do not go up on the mountain or touch the border of it; whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death.(nasb) ======= Exodus 19:13 ============ Exo 19:13 There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet soundeth long, they shall come up to the mount.(KJV) Exodus 19:13 No hand shall touche it, but he shalbe stoned to death, or striken through with darts: whether it be beast or man, he shal not liue: when the horne bloweth long, they shal come vp into the mountaine.(Geneva) Exode 19:13 On ne mettra pas la main sur lui, mais on le lapidera, ou on le percera de flèches: animal ou homme, il ne vivra point. (nasb) ======= Exodus 19:18 ============ Exo 19:18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.(KJV) Exodus 19:18 And mount Sinai was all on smoke, because the Lorde came downe vpon it in fire, and the smoke therof ascended, as the smoke of a fornace, and all the mount trembled exceedingly.(Geneva) Exode 19:18 La montagne de Sinaï était toute en fumée, parce que l'Eternel y était descendu au milieu du feu; cette fumée s'élevait comme la fumée d'une fournaise, et toute la montagne tremblait avec violence.(FR) 18 ׃19 וְהַ֤ר סִינַי֙ עָשַׁ֣ן כֻּלּ֔וֹ מִ֠פְּנֵי אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָרַ֥ד עָלָ֛יו יְהוָ֖ה בָּאֵ֑שׁ וַיַּ֤עַל עֲשָׁנוֹ֙ כְּעֶ֣שֶׁן הַכִּבְשָׁ֔ן וַיֶּחֱרַ֥ד כָּל־הָהָ֖ר מְאֹֽד׃ Exodus Exo 19:18 Now Mount Sinai was all in smoke because the Lord descended upon it in fire; and its smoke ascended like the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mountain quaked violently.(nasb) ======= Exodus 19:19 ============ Exo 19:19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.(KJV) Exodus 19:19 And when the sound of the trumpet blew long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by voyce.(Geneva) Exode 19:19 Le son de la trompette retentissait de plus en plus fortement. Moïse parlait, et Dieu lui répondait à haute voix.(FR) 19 ׃19 וַיְהִי֙ ק֣וֹל הַשּׁוֹפָ֔ר הוֹלֵ֖ךְ וְחָזֵ֣ק מְאֹ֑ד מֹשֶׁ֣ה יְדַבֵּ֔ר וְהָאֱלֹהִ֖ים יַעֲנֶ֥נּוּ בְקֽוֹל׃ Exodus Exo 19:19 When the sound of the trumpet grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and God answered him with thunder.(nasb) ======= Exodus 19:20 ============ Exo 19:20 And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.(KJV) Exodus 19:20 (For the Lorde came downe vpon mount Sinai on the toppe of the mount) and when the Lord called Moses vp into the top of the mount, Moses went vp.(Geneva) Exode 19:20 Ainsi l'Eternel descendit sur la montagne de Sinaï, sur le sommet de la montagne; l'Eternel appela Moïse sur le sommet de la montagne. Et Moïse monta.(FR) 20 ׃19 וַיֵּ֧רֶד יְהוָ֛ה עַל־הַ֥ר סִינַ֖י אֶל־רֹ֣אשׁ הָהָ֑ר וַיִּקְרָ֨א יְהוָ֧ה לְמֹשֶׁ֛ה אֶל־רֹ֥אשׁ הָהָ֖ר וַיַּ֥עַל מֹשֶֽׁה׃ Exodus Exo 19:20 The Lord came down on Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain; and the Lord called Moses to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.(nasb) ======= Exodus 19:21 ============ Exo 19:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.(KJV) Exodus 19:21 Then the Lord said vnto Moses, Go down, charge the people, that they breake not their boundes, to go vp to the Lord to gaze, least many of them perish.(Geneva) Exode 19:21 L'Eternel dit à Moïse: Descends, fais au peuple la défense expresse de se précipiter vers l'Eternel, pour regarder, de peur qu'un grand nombre d'entre eux ne périssent.(FR) 21 ׃19 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה רֵ֖ד הָעֵ֣ד בָּעָ֑ם פֶּן־יֶהֶרְס֤וּ אֶל־יְהוָה֙ לִרְא֔וֹת וְנָפַ֥ל מִמֶּ֖נּוּ רָֽב׃ Exodus Exo 19:21 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, "Go down, warn the people, so that they do not break through to the Lord to gaze, and many of them perish.(nasb) ======= Exodus 19:22 ============ Exo 19:22 And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.(KJV) Exodus 19:22 And let the Priestes also which come to the Lorde be sanctified, least the Lorde destroy them.(Geneva) Exode 19:22 Que les sacrificateurs, qui s'approchent de l'Eternel, se sanctifient aussi, de peur que l'Eternel ne les frappe de mort.(FR) 22 ׃19 וְגַ֧ם הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים הַנִּגָּשִׁ֥ים אֶל־יְהוָ֖ה יִתְקַדָּ֑שׁוּ פֶּן־יִפְרֹ֥ץ בָּהֶ֖ם יְהוָֽה׃ Exodus Exo 19:22 Also let the priests who come near to the Lord consecrate themselves, or else the Lord will break out against them."(nasb) ======= Exodus 19:23 ============ Exo 19:23 And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for thou chargedst us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.(KJV) Exodus 19:23 And Moses sayde vnto the Lord, The people can not come vp into the mount Sinai: for thou hast charged vs, saying, Set markes on the mountaine, and sanctifie it.(Geneva) Exode 19:23 Moïse dit à l'Eternel: Le peuple ne pourra pas monter sur la montagne de Sinaï, car tu nous en as fait la défense expresse, en disant: Fixe des limites autour de la montagne, et sanctifie-la.(FR) 23 ׃19 וַיֹּ֤אמֶר מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־יְהוָ֔ה לֹא־יוּכַ֣ל הָעָ֔ם לַעֲלֹ֖ת אֶל־הַ֣ר סִינָ֑י כִּֽי־אַתָּ֞ה הַעֵדֹ֤תָה בָּ֙נוּ֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר הַגְבֵּ֥ל אֶת־הָהָ֖ר וְקִדַּשְׁתּֽוֹ׃ Exodus Exo 19:23 Moses said to the Lord, "The people cannot come up to Mount Sinai, for You warned us, saying, 'Set bounds about the mountain and consecrate it.'"(nasb) ======= Exodus 19:24 ============ Exo 19:24 And the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.(KJV) Exodus 19:24 And the Lord sayd vnto him, Go, get thee downe, and come vp, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the Priestes and the people breake their boundes to come vp vnto the Lord, least he destroy them.(Geneva) Exode 19:24 L'Eternel lui dit: Va, descends; tu monteras ensuite avec Aaron; mais que les sacrificateurs et le peuple ne se précipitent point pour monter vers l'Eternel, de peur qu'il ne les frappe de mort.(FR) 24 ׃19 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלָ֤יו יְהוָה֙ לֶךְ־רֵ֔ד וְעָלִ֥יתָ אַתָּ֖ה וְאַהֲרֹ֣ן עִמָּ֑ךְ וְהַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים וְהָעָ֗ם אַל־יֽ͏ֶהֶרְס֛וּ לַעֲלֹ֥ת אֶל־יְהוָ֖ה פֶּן־יִפְרָץ־בָּֽם׃ Exodus Exo 19:24 Then the Lord said to him, "Go down and come up again, you and Aaron with you; but do not let the priests and the people break through to come up to the Lord, or He will break forth upon them."(nasb) ======= Exodus 19:25 ============ Exo 19:25 So Moses went down unto the people, and spake unto them.(kjv) Exodus 19:25 So Moses went downe vnto the people, & tolde them.(Geneva) Exode 19:25 Moïse descendit vers le peuple, et lui dit ces choses.(FR) 25 ׃19 וַיֵּ֥רֶד מֹשֶׁ֖ה אֶל־הָעָ֑ם וַיֹּ֖אמֶר אֲלֵהֶֽם׃ ס Exodus Exo 19:25 So Moses went down to the people and told them.
