Today's Date: 3/9/2025 ======= Numbers 19:1 ============ Num 19:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,(KJV) Numbers 19:1 And the Lorde spake to Moses, and to Aaron, saying,(Geneva) Nombres 19:1 L'Eternel parla à Moïse et à Aaron, et dit:(FR) 1 ׃19 וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה וְאֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֖ן לֵאמֹֽר׃ Numbers Num 19:1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:2 ============ Num 19:2 This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke:(KJV) Numbers 19:2 This is the ordinance of the lawe, which the Lorde hath commanded, saying, Speake vnto the children of Israel that they bring thee a red kowe without blemish, wherein is no spot, vpon the which neuer came yoke.(Geneva) Nombres 19:2 Voici ce qui est ordonné par la loi que l'Eternel a prescrite, en disant: Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et qu'ils t'amènent une vache rousse, sans tache, sans défaut corporel, et qui n'ait point porté le joug.(FR) 2 ׃19 זֹ֚את חֻקַּ֣ת הַתּוֹרָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר דַּבֵּ֣ר ׀ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וְיִקְח֣וּ אֵלֶיךָ֩ פָרָ֨ה אֲדֻמָּ֜ה תְּמִימָ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֤ר אֵֽין־בָּהּ֙ מ֔וּם אֲשֶׁ֛ר לֹא־עָלָ֥ה עָלֶ֖יהָ עֹֽל׃ Numbers Num 19:2 "This is the statute of the law which the Lord has commanded, saying, 'Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring you an unblemished red heifer in which is no defect and on which a yoke has never been placed.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:3 ============ Num 19:3 And ye shall give her unto Eleazar the priest, that he may bring her forth without the camp, and one shall slay her before his face:(KJV) Numbers 19:3 And ye shal giue her vnto Eleazar ye Priest, that hee may bring her without the hoste, and cause her to be slaine before his face.(Geneva) Nombres 19:3 Vous la remettrez au sacrificateur Eléazar, qui la fera sortir du camp, et on l'égorgera devant lui.(FR) 3 ׃19 וּנְתַתֶּ֣ם אֹתָ֔הּ אֶל־אֶלְעָזָ֖ר הַכֹּהֵ֑ן וְהוֹצִ֤יא אֹתָהּ֙ אֶל־מִח֣וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה וְשָׁחַ֥ט אֹתָ֖הּ לְפָנָֽיו׃ Numbers Num 19:3 You shall give it to Eleazar the priest, and it shall be brought outside the camp and be slaughtered in his presence.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:4 ============ Num 19:4 And Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the congregation seven times:(KJV) Numbers 19:4 Then shall Eleazar the Priest take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle it before the Tabernacle of the Congregation seuen times,(Geneva) Nombres 19:4 Le sacrificateur Eléazar prendra du sang de la vache avec le doigt, et il en fera sept fois l'aspersion sur le devant de la tente d'assignation.(FR) 4 ׃19 וְלָקַ֞ח אֶלְעָזָ֧ר הַכֹּהֵ֛ן מִדָּמָ֖הּ בְּאֶצְבָּע֑וֹ וְהִזָּ֞ה אֶל־נֹ֨כַח פְּנֵ֧י אֹֽהֶל־מוֹעֵ֛ד מִדָּמָ֖הּ שֶׁ֥בַע פְּעָמִֽים׃ Numbers Num 19:4 Next Eleazar the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger and sprinkle some of its blood toward the front of the tent of meeting seven times.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:5 ============ Num 19:5 And one shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:(KJV) Numbers 19:5 And cause the kow to be burnt in his sight: with her skinne, and her flesh, and her blood, & her doung shal he burne her.(Geneva) Nombres 19:5 On brûlera la vache sous ses yeux; on brûlera sa peau, sa chair et son sang, avec ses excréments.(FR) 5 ׃19 וְשָׂרַ֥ף אֶת־הַפָּרָ֖ה לְעֵינָ֑יו אֶת־עֹרָ֤הּ וְאֶת־בְּשָׂרָהּ֙ וְאֶת־דָּמָ֔הּ עַל־פִּרְשָׁ֖הּ יִשְׂרֹֽף׃ Numbers Num 19:5 Then the heifer shall be burned in his sight; its hide and its flesh and its blood, with its refuse, shall be burned.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:6 ============ Num 19:6 And the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.(KJV) Numbers 19:6 Then shal the Priest take cedar wood, and hyssope & skarlet lace, and cast them in the mids of the fire where the kow burneth.(Geneva) Nombres 19:6 Le sacrificateur prendra du bois de cèdre, de l'hysope et du cramoisi, et il les jettera au milieu des flammes qui consumeront la vache.(FR) 6 ׃19 וְלָקַ֣ח הַכֹּהֵ֗ן עֵ֥ץ אֶ֛רֶז וְאֵז֖וֹב וּשְׁנִ֣י תוֹלָ֑עַת וְהִשְׁלִ֕יךְ אֶל־תּ֖וֹךְ שְׂרֵפַ֥ת הַפָּרָֽה׃ Numbers Num 19:6 The priest shall take cedar wood and hyssop and scarlet material and cast it into the midst of the burning heifer.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:7 ============ Num 19:7 Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the even.(KJV) Numbers 19:7 Then shal the Priest wash his clothes, and he shal wash his flesh in water, and then come into the hoste, and the Priest shalbe vncleane vnto the euen.(Geneva) Nombres 19:7 Le sacrificateur lavera ses vêtements, et lavera son corps dans l'eau; puis il rentrera dans le camp, et sera impur jusqu'au soir.(FR) 7 ׃19 וְכִבֶּ֨ס בְּגָדָ֜יו הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְרָחַ֤ץ בְּשָׂרוֹ֙ בַּמַּ֔יִם וְאַחַ֖ר יָב֣וֹא אֶל־הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה וְטָמֵ֥א הַכֹּהֵ֖ן עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ Numbers Num 19:7 The priest shall then wash his clothes and bathe his body in water, and afterward come into the camp, but the priest shall be unclean until evening.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:8 ============ Num 19:8 And he that burneth her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the even.(KJV) Numbers 19:8 Also he that burneth her, shall wash his clothes in water, and wash his flesh in water, and be vncleane vntill euen.(Geneva) Nombres 19:8 Celui qui aura brûlé la vache lavera ses vêtements dans l'eau, et lavera son corps dans l'eau; et il sera impur jusqu'au soir.(FR) 8 ׃19 וְהַשֹּׂרֵ֣ף אֹתָ֔הּ יְכַבֵּ֤ס בְּגָדָיו֙ בַּמַּ֔יִם וְרָחַ֥ץ בְּשָׂר֖וֹ בַּמָּ֑יִם וְטָמֵ֖א עַד־הָעָֽרֶב׃ Numbers Num 19:8 The one who burns it shall also wash his clothes in water and bathe his body in water, and shall be unclean until evening.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:9 ============ Num 19:9 And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up without the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin.(KJV) Numbers 19:9 And a man, that is cleane, shal take vp the ashes of the kow, & put them without the hoste in a cleane place: and it shalbe kept for the Congregation of the children of Israel for a sprinkling water: it is a sinne offring.(Geneva) Nombres 19:9 Un homme pur recueillera la cendre de la vache, et la déposera hors du camp, dans un lieu pur; on la conservera pour l'assemblée des enfants d'Israël, afin d'en faire l'eau de purification. C'est une eau expiatoire.(FR) 9 ׃19 וְאָסַ֣ף ׀ אִ֣ישׁ טָה֗וֹר אֵ֚ת אֵ֣פֶר הַפָּרָ֔ה וְהִנִּ֛יחַ מִח֥וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה בְּמָק֣וֹם טָה֑וֹר וְ֠הָיְתָה לַעֲדַ֨ת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֧ל לְמִשְׁמֶ֛רֶת לְמֵ֥י נִדָּ֖ה חַטָּ֥את הִֽוא׃ Numbers Num 19:9 Now a man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer and deposit them outside the camp in a clean place, and the congregation of the sons of Israel shall keep it as water to remove impurity; it is purification from sin.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:10 ============ Num 19:10 And he that gathereth the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: and it shall be unto the children of Israel, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among them, for a statute for ever.(KJV) Numbers 19:10 Therefore he that gathereth the ashes of the kowe, shal wash his clothes, and remaine vncleane vntil euen: and it shalbe vnto the children of Israel, and vnto the stranger that dwelleth among them, a statute for euer.(Geneva) Nombres 19:10 Celui qui aura recueilli la cendre de la vache lavera ses vêtements, et sera impur jusqu'au soir. Ce sera une loi perpétuelle pour les enfants d'Israël et pour l'étranger en séjour au milieu d'eux.(FR) 10 ׃19 וְ֠כִבֶּס הָאֹסֵ֨ף אֶת־אֵ֤פֶר הַפָּרָה֙ אֶת־בְּגָדָ֔יו וְטָמֵ֖א עַד־הָעָ֑רֶב וְֽהָיְתָ֞ה לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וְלַגֵּ֛ר הַגָּ֥ר בְּתוֹכָ֖ם לְחֻקַּ֥ת עוֹלָֽם׃ Numbers Num 19:10 The one who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes and be unclean until evening; and it shall be a perpetual statute to the sons of Israel and to the alien who sojourns among them.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:11 ============ Num 19:11 He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.(KJV) Numbers 19:11 Hee that toucheth the dead body of any man, shalbe vncleane euen seuen dayes.(Geneva) Nombres 19:11 Celui qui touchera un mort, un corps humain quelconque, sera impur pendant sept jours.(FR) 11 ׃19 הַנֹּגֵ֥עַ בְּמֵ֖ת לְכָל־נֶ֣פֶשׁ אָדָ֑ם וְטָמֵ֖א שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃ Numbers Num 19:11 'The one who touches the corpse of any person shall be unclean for seven days.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:12 ============ Num 19:12 He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.(KJV) Numbers 19:12 Hee shall purifie himselfe therewith the third day, and the seuenth day he shall be cleane: but if he purifie not himselfe the thirde day, then the seuenth day he shall not be cleane.(Geneva) Nombres 19:12 Il se purifiera avec cette eau le troisième jour et le septième jour, et il sera pur; mais, s'il ne se purifie pas le troisième jour et le septième jour, il ne sera pas pur.(FR) 12 ׃19 ה֣וּא יִתְחַטָּא־ב֞וֹ בַּיּ֧וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֛י וּבַיּ֥וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖י יִטְהָ֑ר וְאִם־לֹ֨א יִתְחַטָּ֜א בַּיּ֧וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֛י וּבַיּ֥וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖י לֹ֥א יִטְהָֽר׃ Numbers Num 19:12 That one shall purify himself from uncleanness with the water on the third day and on the seventh day, and then he will be clean; but if he does not purify himself on the third day and on the seventh day, he will not be clean.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:13 ============ Num 19:13 Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.(KJV) Numbers 19:13 Whosoeuer toucheth ye corps of any man that is dead, and purgeth not himselfe, defileth the Tabernacle of the Lord, and that person shall be cut off from Israel, because the sprinkling water was not sprinkled vpon him: he shall be vncleane, and his vncleannesse shall remaine still vpon him.(Geneva) Nombres 19:13 Celui qui touchera un mort, le corps d'un homme qui sera mort, et qui ne se purifiera pas, souille le tabernacle de l'Eternel; celui-là sera retranché d'Israël. Comme l'eau de purification n'a pas été répandue sur lui, il est impur, et son impureté est encore sur lui.(FR) 13 ׃19 כָּֽל־הַנֹּגֵ֡עַ בְּמֵ֣ת בְּנֶפֶשׁ֩ הָאָדָ֨ם אֲשֶׁר־יָמ֜וּת וְלֹ֣א יִתְחַטָּ֗א אֶת־מִשְׁכַּ֤ן יְהוָה֙ טִמֵּ֔א וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ הַהִ֖וא מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֑ל כִּי֩ מֵ֨י נִדָּ֜ה לֹא־זֹרַ֤ק עָלָיו֙ טָמֵ֣א יִהְיֶ֔ה ע֖וֹד טֻמְאָת֥וֹ בֽוֹ׃ Numbers Num 19:13 Anyone who touches a corpse, the body of a man who has died, and does not purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of the Lord; and that person shall be cut off from Israel. Lorsqu'un homme mourra dans une tente, quiconque entrera dans la tente, et quiconque se trouvera dans la tente, sera impur pendant sept jours.(FR) 14 ׃19 זֹ֚את הַתּוֹרָ֔ה אָדָ֖ם כִּֽי־יָמ֣וּת בְּאֹ֑הֶל כָּל־הַבָּ֤א אֶל־הָאֹ֙הֶל֙ וְכָל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר בָּאֹ֔הֶל יִטְמָ֖א שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃ Numbers Num 19:14 'This is the law when a man dies in a tent: everyone who comes into the tent and everyone who is in the tent shall be unclean for seven days.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:15 ============ Num 19:15 And every open vessel, which hath no covering bound upon it, is unclean.(KJV) Numbers 19:15 And all the vessels that bee open, which haue no couering fastened vpon them, shall be vncleane.(Geneva) Nombres 19:15 Tout vase découvert, sur lequel il n'y aura point de couvercle attaché, sera impur.(FR) 15 ׃19 וְכֹל֙ כְּלִ֣י פָת֔וּחַ אֲשֶׁ֛ר אֵין־צָמִ֥יד פָּתִ֖יל עָלָ֑יו טָמֵ֖א הֽוּא׃ Numbers Num 19:15 Every open vessel, which has no covering tied down on it, shall be unclean.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:16 ============ Num 19:16 And whosoever toucheth one that is slain with a sword in the open fields, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.(KJV) Numbers 19:16 Also whosoeuer toucheth one that is slaine with a sworde in the fielde, or a dead person, or a bone of a dead man, or a graue, shall be vncleane seuen dayes.(Geneva) Nombres 19:16 Quiconque touchera, dans les champs, un homme tué par l'épée, ou un mort, ou des ossements humains, ou un sépulcre, sera impur pendant sept jours.(FR) 16 ׃19 וְכֹ֨ל אֲשֶׁר־יִגַּ֜ע עַל־פְּנֵ֣י הַשָּׂדֶ֗ה בּֽ͏ַחֲלַל־חֶ֙רֶב֙ א֣וֹ בְמֵ֔ת אֽוֹ־בְעֶ֥צֶם אָדָ֖ם א֣וֹ בְקָ֑בֶר יִטְמָ֖א שִׁבְעַ֥ת יָמִֽים׃ Numbers Num 19:16 Also, anyone who in the open field touches one who has been slain with a sword or who has died naturally, or a human bone or a grave, shall be unclean for seven days.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:17 ============ Num 19:17 And for an unclean person they shall take of the ashes of the burnt heifer of purification for sin, and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:(KJV) Numbers 19:17 Therfore for an vncleane person they shall take of the burnt ashes of the sinne offring, and pure water shalbe put thereto in a vessel.(Geneva) Nombres 19:17 On prendra, pour celui qui est impur, de la cendre de la victime expiatoire qui a été brûlée, et on mettra dessus de l'eau vive dans un vase.(FR) 17 ׃19 וְלָֽקְחוּ֙ לַטָּמֵ֔א מֵעֲפַ֖ר שְׂרֵפַ֣ת הַֽחַטָּ֑את וְנָתַ֥ן עָלָ֛יו מַ֥יִם חַיִּ֖ים אֶל־כֶּֽלִי׃ Numbers Num 19:17 Then for the unclean person they shall take some of the ashes of the burnt purification from sin and flowing water shall be added to them in a vessel.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:18 ============ Num 19:18 And a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it upon the tent, and upon all the vessels, and upon the persons that were there, and upon him that touched a bone, or one slain, or one dead, or a grave:(KJV) Numbers 19:18 And a cleane person shal take hyssope & dip it in the water, and sprinkle it vpon the tent, and vpon all the vessels, and on the persons that were therein, and vpon him that touched ye bone, or the slayne, or the dead, or the graue.(Geneva) Nombres 19:18 Un homme pur prendra de l'hysope, et la trempera dans l'eau; puis il en fera l'aspersion sur la tente, sur tous les ustensiles, sur les personnes qui sont là, sur celui qui a touché des ossements, ou un homme tué, ou un mort, ou un sépulcre.(FR) 18 ׃19 וְלָקַ֨ח אֵז֜וֹב וְטָבַ֣ל בַּמַּיִם֮ אִ֣ישׁ טָהוֹר֒ וְהִזָּ֤ה עַל־הָאֹ֙הֶל֙ וְעַל־כָּל־הַכֵּלִ֔ים וְעַל־הַנְּפָשׁ֖וֹת אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָֽיוּ־שָׁ֑ם וְעַל־הַנֹּגֵ֗עַ בַּעֶ֙צֶם֙ א֣וֹ בֶֽחָלָ֔ל א֥וֹ בַמֵּ֖ת א֥וֹ בַקָּֽבֶר׃ Numbers Num 19:18 A clean person shall take hyssop and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent and on all the furnishings and on the persons who were there, and on the one who touched the bone or the one slain or the one dying naturally or the grave.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:19 ============ Num 19:19 And the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify himself, and wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at even.(KJV) Numbers 19:19 And the cleane person shall sprinkle vpon the vncleane the third day, and the seuenth day, and hee shall purifie him selfe the seuenth day, and wash his clothes, and wash himself in water, and shalbe cleane at euen.(Geneva) Nombres 19:19 Celui qui est pur fera l'aspersion sur celui qui est impur, le troisième jour et le septième jour, et il le purifiera le septième jour. Il lavera ses vêtements, et se lavera dans l'eau; et le soir, il sera pur.(FR) 19 ׃19 וְהִזָּ֤ה הַטָּהֹר֙ עַל־הַטָּמֵ֔א בַּיּ֥וֹם הַשְּׁלִישִׁ֖י וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֑י וְחִטְּאוֹ֙ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֔י וְכִבֶּ֧ס בְּגָדָ֛יו וְרָחַ֥ץ בַּמַּ֖יִם וְטָהֵ֥ר בָּעָֽרֶב׃ Numbers Num 19:19 Then the clean person shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day; and on the seventh day he shall purify him from uncleanness, and he shall wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and shall be clean by evening.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:20 ============ Num 19:20 But the man that shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from among the congregation, because he hath defiled the sanctuary of the LORD: the water of separation hath not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.(KJV) Numbers 19:20 But the man that is vncleane and purifieth not himselfe, that person shalbe cut off fro among the Congregation, because hee hath defiled the Sanctuarie of the Lorde: and the sprinkling water hath not bene sprinkled vpon him: therefore shall he be vncleane.(Geneva) Nombres 19:20 Un homme qui sera impur, et qui ne se purifiera pas, sera retranché du milieu de l'assemblée, car il a souillé le sanctuaire de l'Eternel; comme l'eau de purification n'a pas été répandue sur lui, il est impur.(FR) 20 ׃19 וְאִ֤ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־יִטְמָא֙ וְלֹ֣א יִתְחַטָּ֔א וְנִכְרְתָ֛ה הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ הַהִ֖וא מִתּ֣וֹךְ הַקָּהָ֑ל כִּי֩ אֶת־מִקְדַּ֨שׁ יְהוָ֜ה טִמֵּ֗א מֵ֥י נִדָּ֛ה לֹא־זֹרַ֥ק עָלָ֖יו טָמֵ֥א הֽוּא׃ Numbers Num 19:20 'But the man who is unclean and does not purify himself from uncleanness, that person shall be cut off from the midst of the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of the Lord; the water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him, he is unclean.(nasb) ======= Numbers 19:21 ============ Num 19:21 And it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, that he that sprinkleth the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that toucheth the water of separation shall be unclean until even.(KJV) Numbers 19:21 And it shalbe a perpetual lawe vnto them, that he that sprinkleth the sprinkling water, shall wash his clothes: also hee that toucheth the sprinkling water, shalbe vncleane vntill euen.(Geneva) Nombres 19:21 Ce sera pour eux une loi perpétuelle.
