Today's Date: ======= Numbers 17:1 ============ Num 17:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,(KJV) Numbers 17:1 And the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying,(Geneva) Nombres 17:1 L'Eternel parla à Moïse, et dit:(FR) 16 ׃17 וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ Numbers Num 17:1 Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,(nasb) ======= Numbers 17:2 ============ Num 17:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man's name upon his rod.(KJV) Numbers 17:2 Speake vnto the children of Israel, and take of euery one of them a rod, after the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the familie of their fathers, euen twelue rods: and thou shalt write euery mans name vpon his rod.(Geneva) Nombres 17:2 Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et prends d'eux une verge selon les maisons de leurs pères, soit douze verges de la part de tous leurs princes selon les maisons de leurs pères. Tu écriras le nom de chacun sur sa verge,(FR) 17 ׃17 דַּבֵּ֣ר ׀ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וְקַ֣ח מֵֽאִתָּ֡ם מַטֶּ֣ה מַטֶּה֩ לְבֵ֨ית אָ֜ב מֵאֵ֤ת כָּל־נְשִֽׂיאֵהֶם֙ לְבֵ֣ית אֲבֹתָ֔ם שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָׂ֖ר מַטּ֑וֹת אִ֣ישׁ אֶת־שְׁמ֔וֹ תִּכְתֹּ֖ב עַל־מַטֵּֽהוּ׃ Numbers Num 17:2 "Speak to the sons of Israel, and get from them a rod for each father's household: twelve rods, from all their leaders according to their fathers' households. You shall write each name on his rod,(nasb) ======= Numbers 17:3 ============ Num 17:3 And thou shalt write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.(KJV) Numbers 17:3 And write Aarons name vpon the rod of Leui: for euery rodde shalbe for the head of the house of their fathers.(Geneva) Nombres 17:3 et tu écriras le nom d'Aaron sur la verge de Lévi; car il y aura une verge pour chaque chef des maisons de leurs pères.(FR) 18 ׃17 וְאֵת֙ שֵׁ֣ם אַהֲרֹ֔ן תִּכְתֹּ֖ב עַל־מַטֵּ֣ה לֵוִ֑י כִּ֚י מַטֶּ֣ה אֶחָ֔ד לְרֹ֖אשׁ בֵּ֥ית אֲבוֹתָֽם׃ Numbers Num 17:3 and write Aaron's name on the rod of Levi; for there is one rod for the head of each of their fathers' households.(nasb) ======= Numbers 17:4 ============ Num 17:4 And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.(KJV) Numbers 17:4 And thou shalt put them in the Tabernacle of the Congregation, before the Arke of the Testimonie, where I wil declare my selfe to you.(Geneva) Nombres 17:4 Tu les déposeras dans la tente d'assignation, devant le témoignage, où je me rencontre avec vous.(FR) 19 ׃17 וְהִנַּחְתָּ֖ם בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד לִפְנֵי֙ הָֽעֵד֔וּת אֲשֶׁ֛ר אִוָּעֵ֥ד לָכֶ֖ם שָֽׁמָּה׃ Numbers Num 17:4 You shall then deposit them in the tent of meeting in front of the testimony, where I meet with you.(nasb) ======= Numbers 17:5 ============ Num 17:5 And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.(KJV) Numbers 17:5 And the mans rod, whome I chuse, shall blossome: and I will make cease from mee the grudgings of the children of Israel, which grudge against you.(Geneva) Nombres 17:5 L'homme que je choisirai sera celui dont la verge fleurira, et je ferai cesser de devant moi les murmures que profèrent contre vous les enfants d'Israël.(FR) 20 ׃17 וְהָיָ֗ה הָאִ֛ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֶבְחַר־בּ֖וֹ מַטֵּ֣הוּ יִפְרָ֑ח וַהֲשִׁכֹּתִ֣י מֵֽעָלַ֗י אֶת־תְּלֻנּוֹת֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֲשֶׁ֛ר הֵ֥ם מַלִּינִ֖ם עֲלֵיכֶֽם׃ Numbers Num 17:5 It will come about that the rod of the man whom I choose will sprout. Thus I will lessen from upon Myself the grumblings of the sons of Israel, who are grumbling against you."(nasb) ======= Numbers 17:6 ============ Num 17:6 And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.(KJV) Numbers 17:6 Then Moses spake vnto the children of Israel, and al their princes gaue him a rod, one rod for euery Prince, according to the houses of their fathers, euen twelue rods, and the rod of Aaron was among their roddes.(Geneva) Nombres 17:6 Moïse parla aux enfants d'Israël; et tous leurs princes lui donnèrent une verge, chaque prince une verge, selon les maisons de leurs pères, soit douze verges; la verge d'Aaron était au milieu des leurs.(FR) 21 ׃17 וַיְדַבֵּ֨ר מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל וַיִּתְּנ֣וּ אֵלָ֣יו ׀ כָּֽל־נְשִֽׂיאֵיהֶ֡ם מַטֶּה֩ לְנָשִׂ֨יא אֶחָ֜ד מַטֶּ֨ה לְנָשִׂ֤יא אֶחָד֙ לְבֵ֣ית אֲבֹתָ֔ם שְׁנֵ֥ים עָשָׂ֖ר מַטּ֑וֹת וּמַטֵּ֥ה אַהֲרֹ֖ן בְּת֥וֹךְ מַטּוֹתָֽם׃ Numbers Num 17:6 Moses therefore spoke to the sons of Israel, and all their leaders gave him a rod apiece, for each leader according to their fathers' households, twelve rods, with the rod of Aaron among their rods.(nasb) ======= Numbers 17:7 ============ Num 17:7 And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness.(KJV) Numbers 17:7 And Moses layde the rods before the Lord in the Tabernacle of the Testimonie.(Geneva) Nombres 17:7 Moïse déposa les verges devant l'Eternel, dans la tente du témoignage.(FR) 22 ׃17 וַיַּנַּ֥ח מֹשֶׁ֛ה אֶת־הַמַּטֹּ֖ת לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה בְּאֹ֖הֶל הָעֵדֻֽת׃ Numbers Num 17:7 So Moses deposited the rods before the Lord in the tent of the testimony.(nasb) ======= Numbers 17:8 ============ Num 17:8 And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.(KJV) Numbers 17:8 And when Moses on the morow went into the Tabernacle of the Testimonie, beholde, the rod of Aaron for the house of Leui was budded, and brought forth buddes, & brought forth blossoms, and bare ripe almondes.(Geneva) Nombres 17:8 Le lendemain, lorsque Moïse entra dans la tente du témoignage, voici, la verge d'Aaron, pour la maison de Lévi, avait fleuri, elle avait poussé des boutons, produit des fleurs, et mûri des amandes.(FR) 23 ׃17 וַיְהִ֣י מִֽמָּחֳרָ֗ת וַיָּבֹ֤א מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־אֹ֣הֶל הָעֵד֔וּת וְהִנֵּ֛ה פָּרַ֥ח מַטֵּֽה־אַהֲרֹ֖ן לְבֵ֣ית לֵוִ֑י וַיֹּ֤צֵֽא פֶ֙רַח֙ וַיָּ֣צֵֽץ צִ֔יץ וַיִּגְמֹ֖ל שְׁקֵדִֽים׃ Numbers Num 17:8 Now on the next day Moses went into the tent of the testimony; and behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi had sprouted and put forth buds and produced blossoms, and it bore ripe almonds.(nasb) ======= Numbers 17:9 ============ Num 17:9 And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.(KJV) Numbers 17:9 Then Moses brought out all the rods from before the Lorde vnto all the children of Israel: and they looked vpon them, & tooke euery man his rodde.(Geneva) Nombres 17:9 Moïse ôta de devant l'Eternel toutes les verges, et les porta à tous les enfants d'Israël, afin qu'ils les vissent et qu'ils prissent chacun leur verge.(FR) 24 ׃17 וַיֹּצֵ֨א מֹשֶׁ֤ה אֶת־כָּל־הַמַּטֹּת֙ מִלִּפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה אֶֽל־כָּל־בְּנֵ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיִּרְא֥וּ וַיִּקְח֖וּ אִ֥ישׁ מַטֵּֽהוּ׃ ס Numbers Num 17:9 Moses then brought out all the rods from the presence of the Lord to all the sons of Israel; and they looked, and each man took his rod.(nasb) ======= Numbers 17:10 ============ Num 17:10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.(KJV) Numbers 17:10 After, the Lord said vnto Moses, Bring Aarons rod againe before the Testimonie to bee kept for a token to the rebellious children, and thou shalt cause their murmurings to cease from me, that they dye not.(Geneva) Nombres 17:10 L'Eternel dit à Moïse: Reporte la verge d'Aaron devant le témoignage, pour être conservée comme un signe pour les enfants de rébellion, afin que tu fasses cesser de devant moi leurs murmures et qu'ils ne meurent point.(FR) 25 ׃17 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֗ה הָשֵׁ֞ב אֶת־מַטֵּ֤ה אַהֲרֹן֙ לִפְנֵ֣י הָעֵד֔וּת לְמִשְׁמֶ֥רֶת לְא֖וֹת לִבְנֵי־מֶ֑רִי וּתְכַ֧ל תְּלוּנֹּתָ֛ם מֵעָלַ֖י וְלֹ֥א יָמֻֽתוּ׃ Numbers Num 17:10 But the Lord said to Moses, "Put back the rod of Aaron before the testimony to be kept as a sign against the rebels, that you may put an end to their grumblings against Me, so that they will not die."(nasb) ======= Numbers 17:11 ============ Num 17:11 And Moses did so: as the LORD commanded him, so did he.(KJV) Numbers 17:11 So Moses did as the Lord had commanded him: so did he.(Geneva) Nombres 17:11 Moïse fit ainsi; il se conforma à l'ordre que l'Eternel lui avait donné.(FR) 26 ׃17 וַיַּ֖עַשׂ מֹשֶׁ֑ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה אֹת֖וֹ כֵּ֥ן עָשָֽׂה׃ ס Numbers Num 17:11 Thus Moses did; just as the Lord had commanded him, so he did.(nasb) ======= Numbers 17:12 ============ Num 17:12 And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.(KJV) Numbers 17:12 And the children of Israel spake vnto Moses, saying, Behold, we are dead, we perish, we are all lost:(Geneva) Nombres 17:12 Les enfants d'Israël dirent à Moïse: Voici, nous expirons, nous périssons, nous périssons tous!(FR) 27 ׃17 וַיֹּֽאמְרוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר הֵ֥ן גָּוַ֛עְנוּ אָבַ֖דְנוּ כֻּלָּ֥נוּ אָבָֽדְנ[t]וּ׃ Numbers Num 17:12 Then the sons of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, "Behold, we perish, we are dying, we are all dying!(nasb) ======= Numbers 17:13 ============ Num 17:13 Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?(kjv) Numbers 17:13 Whosoeuer commeth neere, or approcheth to the Tabernacle of the Lorde, shal dye: shal we be consumed and dye?(Geneva) Nombres 17:13 Quiconque s'approche du tabernacle de l'Eternel, meurt. Nous faudra-t-il tous expirer?(FR) 28 ׃17 כֹּ֣ל הַקָּרֵ֧ב ׀ הַקָּרֵ֛ב אֶל־מִשְׁכַּ֥ן יְהוָ֖ה יָמ֑וּת הַאִ֥ם תַּ֖מְנוּ לִגְוֺֽעַ׃ ס Numbers Num 17:13 Everyone who comes near, who comes near to the tabernacle of the Lord, must die. Are we to perish completely?"
