of Manasseh), and the border of Manasseh was on the north side of the brook and it ended at the sea.(nasb) ======= Joshua 17:10 ============ Jos 17:10 Southward it was Ephraim's, and northward it was Manasseh's, and the sea is his border; and they met together in Asher on the north, and in Issachar on the east.(KJV) Joshua 17:10 The South perteyneth to Ephraim, and the North to Manasseh, and the Issachar and in Asher, Manasseh had Beth-shean and its towns and Ibleam and its towns, and the inhabitants of Dor and its towns, and the inhabitants of En-dor and its towns, and the inhabitants of Taanach and its towns, and the inhabitants of Megiddo and its towns, the third is Napheth.(nasb) ======= Joshua 17:12 ============ Jos 17:12 Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out the inhabitants of those cities; but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.(KJV) Joshua 17:12 Yet the children of Manasseh coulde not destroy those cities, but the Canaanites dwelled still in that and one portion for an inheritance, since I am a numerous people whom the Lord has thus far blessed?"(nasb) ======= Joshua 17:15 ============ Jos 17:15 And Joshua answered them, If thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee.(KJV) Joshua 17:15 Ioshua then answered them, If thou be much people, get thee vp to the wood, & cut trees for thy selfe there in the lande of the Perizzites, and of the gyants, if mount Ephraim be too narowe for thee.(Geneva) לְךָ֖ הַר־אֶפְרָֽיִם׃ Joshua Jos 17:15 Joshua said to them, "If you are a numerous people, go up to the forest and clear a place for yourself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the Rephaim, since the hill country of Ephraim is too narrow for you."(nasb) ======= Joshua 17:16 ============ Jos 17:16 And the children of Joseph said, The hill is not enough for us: and all the Canaanites that dwell in the land of the valley have chariots of iron, both they who are of Bethshean and her towns, and they who are of the valley of Jezreel.(KJV) Joshua 17:16 Then the children of Ioseph saide, The mountaine will not be ynough for vs: and all the Canaanites that dwell in the lowe countrey haue charets of yron, aswell they in Beth-shean, and in the townes of the same, as they in the valley of the Canaanites who live in the valley land have chariots of iron, both those who are in Beth-shean and its towns and those who are in the valley of Jezreel."(nasb) ======= Joshua 17:17 ============ Jos 17:17 And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot only:(KJV) Joshua 17:17 And numerous people and have great power; you shall not have one lot only,(nasb) ======= Joshua 17:18 ============ Jos 17:18 But the mountain shall be thine; for it is a wood, and thou shalt cut it down: and the outgoings of it shall be thine: for thou shalt drive out the Canaanites, though they have iron chariots, and though they be strong.(kjv) Joshua 17:18 Therefore the mountaine shall be thine:
