il n'y aura ces années-ci ni rosée ni pluie, sinon à ma parole.(FR) 1 ׃17 וַיֹּאמֶר֩ אֵלִיָּ֨הוּ הַתִּשְׁבִּ֜י מִתֹּשָׁבֵ֣י גִלְעָד֮ אֶל־אַחְאָב֒ חַי־יְהוָ֞ה אֱלֹהֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָמַ֣דְתִּי לְפָנָ֔יו אִם־יִהְיֶ֛ה הַשָּׁנִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה טַ֣ל וּמָטָ֑ר כִּ֖י אִם־לְפִ֥י דְבָרִֽי׃ ס Kings1 1Ki 17:1 Now Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the settlers of Gilead, said to Ahab, "As the Lord, the God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, surely there shall be neither dew nor rain these years, except by my word."(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:2 ============ 1Ki 17:2 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,(KJV) 1 Kings 17:2 And the worde of the Lorde came vnto him, saying,(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:2 Et la parole de l'Eternel fut adressée à Elie, en ces mots:(FR) 2 ׃17 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלָ֥יו לֵאמֹֽר׃ Kings1 1Ki 17:2 The word of the Lord came to him, saying,(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:3 ============ 1Ki 17:3 Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.(KJV) 1 Kings 17:3 Go hence, and turne thee Eastwarde, and hide thy selfe in the riuer Cherith, that is ouer against Iorden,(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:3 Pars d'ici, dirige-toi vers l'orient, et cache-toi près du torrent de Kerith, qui est en face du Jourdain.(FR) 3 ׃17 לֵ֣ךְ מִזֶּ֔ה וּפָנִ֥יתָ לְּךָ֖ קֵ֑דְמָה וְנִסְתַּרְתָּ֙ בְּנַ֣חַל כְּרִ֔ית אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃ Kings1 1Ki 17:3 "Go away from here and turn eastward, and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, which is east of the Jordan.(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:4 ============ 1Ki 17:4 And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.(KJV) 1 Kings 17:4 And thou shalt drinke of the riuer: and I haue comanded the rauens to feede thee there.(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:4 Tu boiras de l'eau du torrent, et j'ai ordonné aux corbeaux de te nourrir là.(FR) 4 ׃17 וְהָיָ֖ה מֵהַנַּ֣חַל תִּשְׁתֶּ֑ה וְאֶת־הָעֹרְבִ֣ים צִוִּ֔יתִי לְכַלְכֶּלְךָ֖ שָֽׁם׃ Kings1 1Ki 17:4 It shall be that you will drink of the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to provide for you there."(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:5 ============ 1Ki 17:5 So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.(KJV) 1 Kings 17:5 So he went & did according vnto the word of the Lord: for he went, and remained by the riuer Cherith that is ouer against Iorden.(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:5 Il partit et fit selon la parole de l'Eternel, et il alla s'établir près du torrent de Kerith, qui est en face du Jourdain.(FR) 5 ׃17 וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ וַיַּ֖עַשׂ כִּדְבַ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה וַיֵּ֗לֶךְ וַיֵּ֙שֶׁב֙ בְּנַ֣חַל כְּרִ֔ית אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הַיַּרְדֵּֽן׃ Kings1 1Ki 17:5 So he went and did according to the word of the Lord, for he went and lived by the brook Cherith, which is east of the Jordan.(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:6 ============ 1Ki 17:6 And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.(KJV) 1 Kings 17:6 And the rauens brought him bread & flesh in the morning, and bread & flesh in the euening, and he dranke of the riuer.(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:6 Les corbeaux lui apportaient du pain et de la viande le matin, et du pain et de la viande le soir, et il buvait de l'eau du torrent.(FR) 6 ׃17 וְהָעֹרְבִ֗ים מְבִיאִ֨ים ל֜וֹ לֶ֤חֶם וּבָשָׂר֙ בַּבֹּ֔קֶר וְלֶ֥חֶם וּבָשָׂ֖ר בָּעָ֑רֶב וּמִן־הַנַּ֖חַל יִשְׁתֶּֽה׃ Kings1 1Ki 17:6 The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he would drink from the brook.(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:7 ============ 1Ki 17:7 And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.(KJV) 1 Kings 17:7 And after a while the riuer dryed vp, because there fell no rayne vpon the earth.(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:7 Mais au bout d'un certain temps le torrent fut à sec, car il n'était point tombé de pluie dans le pays.(FR) 7 ׃17 וַיְהִ֛י מִקֵּ֥ץ יָמִ֖ים וַיִּיבַ֣שׁ הַנָּ֑חַל כִּ֛י לֹֽא־הָיָ֥ה גֶ֖שֶׁם בָּאָֽרֶץ׃ ס Kings1 1Ki 17:7 It happened after a while that the brook dried up, because there was no rain in the land.(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:8 ============ 1Ki 17:8 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,(KJV) 1 Kings 17:8 And the worde of the Lord came vnto him, saying,(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:8 Alors la parole de l'Eternel lui fut adressée en ces mots:(FR) 8 ׃17 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלָ֥יו לֵאמֹֽר׃ Kings1 1Ki 17:8 Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying,(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:9 ============ 1Ki 17:9 Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.(KJV) 1 Kings 17:9 Vp, & get thee to Zarephath, which is in Zidon, and remaine there: beholde, I haue commanded a widow there to sustaine thee.(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:9 Lève-toi, va à Sarepta, qui appartient à Sidon, et demeure là. Voici, j'y ai ordonné à une femme veuve de te nourrir.(FR) 9 ׃17 ק֣וּם לֵ֤ךְ צָרְפַ֙תָה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לְצִיד֔וֹן וְיָשַׁבְתָּ֖ שָׁ֑ם הִנֵּ֨ה צִוִּ֥יתִי שָׁ֛ם אִשָּׁ֥ה אַלְמָנָ֖ה לְכַלְכְּלֶֽךָ׃ Kings1 1Ki 17:9 "Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and stay there; behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you."(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:10 ============ 1Ki 17:10 So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.(KJV) 1 Kings 17:10 So he arose, & went to Zarephath: & when he came to the gate of the citie, beholde, the widowe was there gathering stickes: and he called her, and sayde, Bring me, I pray thee, a litle water in a vessel, that I may drinke.(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:10 Il se leva, et il alla à Sarepta. Comme il arrivait à l'entrée de la ville, voici, il y avait là une femme veuve qui ramassait du bois. Il l'appela, et dit: Va me chercher, je te prie, un peu d'eau dans un vase, afin que je boive.(FR) 10 ׃17 וַיָּ֣קָם ׀ וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ צָרְפַ֗תָה וַיָּבֹא֙ אֶל־פֶּ֣תַח הָעִ֔יר וְהִנֵּֽה־שָׁ֛ם אִשָּׁ֥ה אַלְמָנָ֖ה מְקֹשֶׁ֣שֶׁת עֵצִ֑ים וַיִּקְרָ֤א אֵלֶ֙יהָ֙ וַיֹּאמַ֔ר קְחִי־נָ֨א לִ֧י מְעַט־מַ֛יִם בַּכְּלִ֖י וְאֶשְׁתֶּֽה׃ Kings1 1Ki 17:10 So he arose and went to Zarephath, and when he came to the gate of the city, behold, a widow was there gathering sticks; and he called to her and said, "Please get me a little water in a jar, that I may drink."(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:11 ============ 1Ki 17:11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.(KJV) 1 Kings 17:11 And as she was going to fet it, he called to her, and sayde, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsell of bread in thine hand.(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:11 Et elle alla en chercher. Il l'appela de nouveau, et dit: Apporte-moi, je te prie, un morceau de pain dans ta main.(FR) 11 ׃17 וַתֵּ֖לֶךְ לָקַ֑חַת וַיִּקְרָ֤א אֵלֶ֙יהָ֙ וַיֹּאמַ֔ר לִֽקְחִי־נָ֥א לִ֛י פַּת־לֶ֖חֶם בְּיָדֵֽךְ׃ Kings1 1Ki 17:11 As she was going to get it, he called to her and said, "Please bring me a piece of bread in your hand."(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:12 ============ 1Ki 17:12 And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.(KJV) 1 Kings 17:12 And shee sayde, As the Lorde thy God liueth, I haue not a cake, but euen an handfull of meale in a barrel, and a litle oyle in a cruse: and behold, I am gathering a fewe stickes for to go in, and dresse it for me and my sonne, that we may eate it, and dye.(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:12 Et elle répondit: L'Eternel, ton Dieu, est vivant! je n'ai rien de cuit, je n'ai qu'une poignée de farine dans un pot et un peu d'huile dans une cruche. Et voici, je ramasse deux morceaux de bois, puis je rentrerai et je préparerai cela pour moi et pour mon fils; nous mangerons, après quoi nous mourrons.(FR) 12 ׃17 וַתֹּ֗אמֶר חַי־יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙ אִם־יֶשׁ־לִ֣י מָע֔וֹג כִּ֣י אִם־מְלֹ֤א כַף־קֶ֙מַח֙ בַּכַּ֔ד וּמְעַט־שֶׁ֖מֶן בַּצַּפָּ֑חַת וְהִנְנִ֨י מְקֹשֶׁ֜שֶׁת שְׁנַ֣יִם עֵצִ֗ים וּבָ֙אתִי֙ וַעֲשִׂיתִ֙יהוּ֙ לִ֣י וְלִבְנִ֔י וַאֲכַלְנֻ֖הוּ וָמָֽתְנוּ׃ Kings1 1Ki 17:12 But she said, "As the Lord your God lives, I have no bread, only a handful of flour in the bowl and a little oil in the jar; and behold, I am gathering a few sticks that I may go in and prepare for me and my son, that we may eat it and die."(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:13 ============ 1Ki 17:13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.(KJV) 1 Kings 17:13 And Eliiah said vnto her, Feare not, come, do as thou hast sayd, but make me thereof a litle cake first of all, and bring it vnto mee, and afterward make for thee, and thy sonne.(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:13 Elie lui dit: Ne crains point, rentre, fais comme tu as dit. Seulement, prépare-moi d'abord avec cela un petit gâteau, et tu me l'apporteras; tu en feras ensuite pour toi et pour ton fils.(FR) 13 ׃17 וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלֶ֤יהָ אֵלִיָּ֙הוּ֙ אַל־תִּ֣ירְאִ֔י בֹּ֖אִי עֲשִׂ֣י כִדְבָרֵ֑ךְ אַ֣ךְ עֲשִׂי־לִֽ[t]י־מִ֠שָּׁם עֻגָ֨ה קְטַנָּ֤ה בָרִאשֹׁנָה֙ וְהוֹצֵ֣אתְ לִ֔י וְלָ֣ךְ וְלִבְנֵ֔ךְ תַּעֲשִׂ֖י בָּאַחֲרֹנָֽה׃ ס Kings1 1Ki 17:13 Then Elijah said to her, "Do not fear; go, do as you have said, but make me a little bread cake from it first and bring it out to me, and afterward you may make one for yourself and for your son.(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:14 ============ 1Ki 17:14 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.(KJV) 1 Kings 17:14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The meale in the barrel shall not be wasted, neither shal the oyle in the cruse be diminished, vnto the time that the Lord send rayne vpon the earth.(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:14 Car ainsi parle l'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël: La farine qui est dans le pot ne manquera point et l'huile qui est dans la cruche ne diminuera point, jusqu'au jour où l'Eternel fera tomber de la pluie sur la face du sol.(FR) 14 ׃17 כִּ֣י כֹה֩ אָמַ֨ר יְהוָ֜ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל כַּ֤ד הַקֶּ֙מַח֙ לֹ֣א תִכְלָ֔ה וְצַפַּ֥חַת הַשֶּׁ֖מֶן לֹ֣א תֶחְסָ֑ר עַ֠ד י֧וֹם *תתן־**תֵּת־יְהוָ֛ה גֶּ֖שֶׁם עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאֲדָמָֽה׃ Kings1 1Ki 17:14 For thus says the Lord God of Israel, 'The bowl of flour shall not be exhausted, nor shall the jar of oil be empty, until the day that the Lord sends rain on the face of the earth.'"(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:15 ============ 1Ki 17:15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.(KJV) 1 Kings 17:15 So she went, and did as Eliiah sayd, and she did eate: so did he and her house for a certaine time.(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:15 Elle alla, et elle fit selon la parole d'Elie. (nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:17 ============ 1Ki 17:17 And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.(KJV) 1 Kings 17:17 And after these things, the sonne of the wife of the house fell sicke, and his sicknesse was so sore, that there was no breath left in him.(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:17 Après ces choses, le fils de la femme, maîtresse de la maison, devint malade, et sa maladie fut si violente qu'il ne resta plus en lui de respiration.(FR) 17 ׃17 וַיְהִ֗י אַחַר֙ הַדְּבָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֔לֶּה חָלָ֕ה בֶּן־הָאִשָּׁ֖ה בַּעֲלַ֣ת הַבָּ֑יִת וַיְהִ֤י חָלְיוֹ֙ חָזָ֣ק מְאֹ֔ד עַ֛ד אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹא־נֽוֹתְרָה־בּ֖וֹ נְשָׁמָֽה׃ Kings1 1Ki 17:17 Now it came about after these things that the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, became sick; and his sickness was so severe that there was no breath left in him.(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:18 ============ 1Ki 17:18 And she said unto Elijah, What have I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come unto me to call my sin to remembrance, and to slay my son?(KJV) 1 Kings 17:18 And she said vnto Eliiah, What haue I to do with thee, O thou man of God? art thou come vnto me to call my sinne to remembrance, and to slay my sonne?(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:18 Cette femme dit alors à Elie: Qu'y a-t-il entre moi et toi, homme de Dieu? Es-tu venu chez moi pour rappeler le souvenir de mon iniquité, et pour faire mourir mon fils?(FR) 18 ׃17 וַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙ אֶל־אֵ֣לִיָּ֔הוּ מַה־לִּ֥י וָלָ֖ךְ אִ֣ישׁ הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים בָּ֧אתָ אֵלַ֛י לְהַזְכִּ֥יר אֶת־עֲוֺנִ֖י וּלְהָמִ֥ית אֶת־בְּנִֽי׃ Kings1 1Ki 17:18 So she said to Elijah, "What do I have to do with you, O man of God? You have come to me to bring my iniquity to remembrance and to put my son to death!"(nasb) ======= 1 Kings 17:19 ============ 1Ki 17:19 And he said unto her, Give me thy son. And he took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into a loft, where he abode, and laid him upon his own bed.(KJV) 1 Kings 17:19 And he said vnto her, Giue me thy sonne; he tooke him out of her bosome, and caryed him vp into a chamber, where he abode, and laid him vpon his owne bed.(Geneva) 1 Rois 17:19 Il lui répondit: Donne-moi ton fils.
